Honestly I would love it if the three of them were turning black in stages.

For starters, Sandai kitetsu (third kitetsu blade) when he beats Nosjuro (he has the shodai kitetsu (first kitetsu blade) beating the predecessor. Beating the past.

Then, Enma when he beats Shiryu who was literally a Head Jailer of impel down aka the king of hell.
