But there’s also Yamato adopting Oden’s identity while Momonosuke ends up being a dragon just like Kaido.

Yamato inherited Kaido’s bodily might, but has a heart unlike his father. Momonosuke didn’t inherit any of Oden’s might, but he inherited his heart, courage, and love for Wano.

Kaido forced Oden into a situation where Oden ended up dying because he tried to shoulder everything on his own. Yamato encourages Momonosuke to trust in the allies he recruited and talks him out of sacrificing himself just to save Wano.
