DW. The reason Roger is the only one to make it to Lodestar is because Burnscarman guards the island. He can make people replay their lives, basically sending them "back in time" but they're in the present. Your crew launches from Elbaf to Lodestar and it's a 2 week trek? Well you do your 2 week trek and he teleports you back to Elbaf in the current time. He also has endless stamina so he cant be overwhelmed because people will keep coming back and back.

This is the real reason only Roger has made it to lodestar because they were the only crew strong enough to beat burnscar man
