Her being able to control the Pacifista adds to that because the Revos need weaponry and firepower. Bam, Bonney is able to add to that by controlling the Kumaborgs for them

The Kumaborgs being used by the Revolutionaries is fitting because Saturn modeled the borgs after Kuma to spite him, he wanted the irony of things like something wearing Kuma's face killing Bonney. Instead, Kuma will be the face of the Revolution if they're using the Kumaborgs

And for Nika, the Revos are all about freedom and liberation, so them having a Nika on their side works

Lol I love Weilin Zhang’s sequence there. It’s a little crazy, for sure, but I didn’t necessarily find it difficult to follow or whatever.

I, of course, prefer the manga’s version of events, though. Even if thee Animator, Vincent Chansard, and Shinya Ohira put out some of my favorite One Piece animations during those G5 episodes
