If you look closely at the kanji, even if you aren't able to read the japanese, you'll notice something. The first kanji is what represents White/Deep. The 2nd kanji is a repetition of the first kanji but it isnt actually same as the first kanji, denoted by "々". This is a bit tricky to understand because its so unique to the Japanese language, but the kanji on its own has ZERO meaning, when reading it, it means to repeat the same kanji as the previous one - as you can see above.

That's why the translation was done the way I did it.

Abyss in japanese would be like 深淵 (shinen - which is like a separate concept). Sea Floor is like 海底 (kaitei - which means sea bottom). And actually, the way Oda writes the word "Abyss" in reference to the Gorosei/HKs is totally different!

TLDR - Deep Deep Sea is the most natural choice to make. Lemme know if you got questions! I'd love to clarify and answer more Q's.
