I like the side of him that seems to be wrestling with the fact that he cannot have the simply life that he wanted. As he told Gaban he simply wanted to sail with Buggy, and yet he was seen as a possible "chosen one" and the one to be the next pirate king. He also clearly has this goal to defeat the government and he seems to be going about it in his own way, which makes it interesting. On top of that, he likely has his own potential ideas on how he will use the One Piece if he is the one to find it. I like all of that
