i'm drawing up a redesign for a street for a school project, and I didn't know what i was going to do with the on street parking, because you have to preserve that crap or the buisnesses will lose their minds. I had planned on getting rid of a land and replacing it with a horse lane (because this is a cultural area that has carriage rides etc etc and the car traffic doesn't mix well with the horse traffic), as well as expanding the sidewalks by about 5 feet. It would be awkward to have the cars cut across the horse lane to park their cars because it would be made out of dirt, so i just rememberd cities across the world ahve started using car parking as a barrier between bike lanes and car lanes, so i'm jsut going to do that since there needed to be a barrier anyhow

its rather sparse because they use it for rodeos

and its fortworth so everything is sparse
