I get it, but in the scenario a Straw Hat Loki occurs in the far future, there's always a new perspective he can gain, just by observing Luffy. His view on life being influenced by Rocks is essentially attributed to his lack of childhood and being an outcast. He'd probably be more like Hajrudin had he got any real love and friends, but he didn't which leads to who he is today, a violent and destructive giant that's basically a vagabond in life.

Albeit, he does seemingly possess some sort of gentle heart in him, even if he denies it based on his convo with Mosa. And in another example, its also clear he never wanted to kill Harald either, he hates him but not to the extent of wanting him dead.
