We haven't even explored an entire realm of Elbaf, really in terms of exploration it feels like we have barely scratched past the surface. The God Valley flashback put heavy emphasis on Imu’s overwhelming strength and the whole idea is to drive home the sense of hopelessness in the current situation that the SHs are in, I find it unlikely for them to succeed beyond just living through it. We also have the unresolved Vivi message from the start of the arc, which isn't going to be resolved anytime soon. Kid is still missing from the arc despite being destroyed in Elbaf. Mosa is a major character for this arc that is going to be tied up with something of their own for a while, indicating that they can't get involved anytime soon. The development of the SHs has been a focus in the buildup of things here, I don't think we will be getting the payoff to that immediately either.

Everything points to a big boy arc and the bigger picture will be clear in about 10-15 chapters imo. There’s also a lot of speculative material I haven’t even touched on here, because I wanted to stick to the real obvious stuff.

Luffy will join in as the Whitebeard equivalent and actually properly succeed in saving a loved one this time, unlike Marineford where he was just an ant in the storm and could not do much about Ace's death as much as he tried. Koby is gonna be part of a Marine group trying to prevent the execution at the same time.
