hmmm, imo it's been obvious for a long time that Imu's plan for the world is incomplete. even before the plan to flood the world was revealed by Vegapunk, i assumed that Imu has a goal beyond just sitting on the throne and being an evil overlord. a lot of ppl i've talked to still seemed to think that Imu was a purely reactive antagonist (or that Blackbeard would kill and replace Imu's entire role in the story lol) so i'm glad the most recent chapter spelled out that it's not the case at all lol
