I always wondered what the purpose of gunkos different pupils are but now that her colors are revealed, it’s become clear to me that it is hinting at the true nature of imu like people have suspected for so long, that imu has taken control of Nefertari lilys body.

To start with we know gunko holds a special place among the gods knight being known as the devoted blade of god, already we have a special link between the two in addition to the possession that occurs in elbaf.

Next is her blue hair, as a celestial dragon that immediately reminds of me the Nefertiri family, with the assumption being that she’s nefertiri from her mother’s side. Maybe that’s why imu has a special affection for her.

Next is her heterochromia, thematically this would hint at the fact of two beings occupying the same body, with the red obviously being imu.
