Aside from the insane plot , like every new chapter/episode is just topping the other (kinda since Day 1)!, i like the manga a lot but its going really fast (coming from Anime-only), but i adjusted to that quickly. And the art is awesome yoo. Some of these panels belong in a museum! Im not saying Oda is the best manga artist to ever have existed i havent even read that many (Plot wise Oda is and always will be NR. 1 for me!) but holy moly its gorgeous! I cant wait for colored version in anime either! I also like it that its mature, like anime needs to censor some things obviously and that was never an issue for me but honestly some things just hit differently without the censorship...Though One Piece is my Nr. 1 because of the irreplaceable Story! Like World-building, Story-telling, Characters etc.

Yeah, the pacing can feel too fast when coming from the anime, and the recent chapters you have been going through are really dense, they pack a lot of material that allows for loooong discussion. this might sound biased since this is the one piece server lol, but one piece really is something else, it's a gift that keeps on giving. you will notice a lot of new things and cool details/foreshadowings when going back through earlier chapters. a cool example that comes to mind is that captain john from the rocks pirates actually appeared in thriller bark as one of the corpses moria had. it's really nice to see how many of these details oda had thought about that long ago and how he managed to hold himself until the right time. will look forward to you joing us in #manga for discussions or maybe even #spoilers if you're into that ||

Episode 220 ||I finished both G8 and the Long Island arc in the anime. I really enjoyed it, I wish g8 was in the manga, I think it explored some cool sides of the marines character wise that I feel like haven't been very present in the story (so far) besides Smoker, Tashigi and also Coby and Helmeppo with the cover series very early on. Jonathan was a really funny dude, felt like someone that would have fit perfectly in the manga. As for the Foxy stuff I also enjoyed it, the extra few matches were pretty fun to watch, my friend told me that this arc is mostly the most hated one, I can see why but I liked some of the little emotional elements that were snuck in like risking losing crew members and general crew conflict. ||
Chapter 322 ||One thing I found it weird in the anime was that Aokiji was missing from the end 🤔 I'm not sure how he was introduced in it, maybe that's one of the reasons people dislike it more? idk. Anyway, just to add more to the arc, I think the Aokiji fight really emphasized in a more serious way what the arc wanted to entail (losing crew members, crew conflicts etc). And like I said yesterday, it got me worried about Robin 😭 hoping nothing bad happens to her, going to continue reading more tonight.||
