The villain do have vague/bland motives for doing what he's doing, but the villain is not the entirety of the arc. On a grand scale of the bigger plot regarding the void century, it's very much a decent arc, with a good way to introduce us to the crews new powers and skills, and creating a new possible future goal during the end of it.||
