Episode 143 ||I thought the marine was the father of Rapa Nui but it was actually Rapa Nui and he was helping them all along. He even helped Nami because he met her inside the rainbow mist. And the book Nami was reading was his all along where it mentioned the SH pirates but that was in part 2 which she did not have ||

Episode 152 ||This has to be one of the most underrated moments of One Piece, Nami reading the wind and the water current to propel the going merry into the sky. I forgot about this and it did not have the same tension in the manga but this is amazing. Extremely well animated and shows how important Nami is to the crew. Luffy might have a say on where they go but everyone is important to get there or to something||

Ep 152 ||I wouldn’t say it’s a top 20 moment but it for sure is underrated, shows Nami’s importance to the team||

Episode 152 || I think it is for me. They have no idea whether the island exists, they are told so by a person whom nobody believes. He also tells them the only way to get there is to ride a stream which seems preposterous. Luffy just believes him and trusts that such a thing exists. Also they are told almost 100% of the ships dont make it when using this method. Luffy wants to go and the crew trusts him. Then while riding, the ship starts falling and everyone apart from Luffy believes its the end. Thats when the navigator comes and helps them by reading the wind and the water. They all trust her despite the hopeless odds and they make it. The music also adds to this tension. Truly an epic moment ||

Ep 152 ||That’s fair, and it’s for sure a top 20 moment where you are in the show rn. But as the show goes on these moments just get overshadowed by some really amazing things that happen||

Disagreed, I think what they added made the arc worthy of keeping, it shows (ep 55) ||Sanjis cooking capabilities, which is Sanji at his best imo. It also has that talk with Luffy and the bartender when he was tryna find the execution platform. It shows how Roger and Luffy are so alike, on top of Luffy’s reaction to getting executed being the same as Rogers (which is both in the manga and anime)||
