All team in the NFC East have been extremely bad for the most part in recent years. Washington ended winning their division with a losing overall record and getting into the playoffs 2 years ago
SOS is based off of the collective win/loss percentages of all teams you're going to face in the upcoming seasoned based on how they all did the season previous
So from that you can roughly infer if the road to a winning record and/or getting into the playoffs is easier for some teams than others
The Rams for example have the have the highest SOS for this upcoming season because the vast majority of their opponents this year had winning records
Doesn't help that 2 of the teams they have to face a combined 4 times are the Cardinals and 49ers who both made the playoffs last year as well and are in the same division as LAR
So presumably they have the most difficult road to the playoffs, while on the flip side Dallas and Washington would presumably have the easiest
