You have these 19, 20 year old kids coming into the league, a lot of them are unequip to deal with the challenges of being a professional athlete with all that money being thrown at them, the privileges that come with it. And we're always going into the draft every year and it's all about projection and potential because the fact of the matter is, their games just aren't ready yet for the NBA. Like, yes, even if these players get to be star players they feel like they're not the type of stars like they used to be in previous years.
And I think that has led to the lack of emphasis on building teams through the draft and developing talent.
