5-1
I clearly remember Robben exposing Ramos and Pique
Chile was the best thing about that group
Think there was a earthquake when they beat Spain
I love Henry a lot, he helped me improve a lot in my finishing
I remember my coach back in Germany made me watch a lot of clips of Henry’s movement and how he uses his pace and how he finishes
really changed the way I play (tho I moved into a RB/LB because I was much better in defending and crosses)
I see so much of Robben in Mo dude
That cut in from the right side to the far end of the net finish
I still love to practice shooting that Henry-style far post shots
it’s so satisfying
Robben had such a bad reputation of being a ball hog
Which was true but he always scored
So it didn’t matter
Which foot are you
Both
I don’t really know but I’m right foot dominant
It’s just that I spent a lot of time practicing my left foot, I’m comfortable in both
I love playing LB more because I can cut in
Could pass with it but just was secure in my right foot, I knew I could always get back on it no matter what the opposition did
right foot as well, have a garbage left foot
I’m your typical pacey short full back
Busquets is the best comp I can give of myself
doesn’t go for headers much but would go for a chase and run all over the side lines
I have a p good left foot, but like I'm Def right dominant
Left foot and long inner sleeves
honestly, quite true
that’s a jackpot
left footed players are kinda hard to defend
or gloves
Luckily I play right back
Long sleeves and gloves was needed by everyone due to the weather
gloves or inner long sleeves are interchangeable but they had the skills and magic to change the game and send you on a hot dog
Very nice
Nice damn
Something to tell my children
when the opponent looking like this in the wings
you knew you’re in for a ride as a fullback

For the first time in 14 days… the New York Rangers play hockey
Literally every North African kid
I got exposed once by this French kid
We were playing an international tournament
Mother fucker had an insane pace and skill set
apparently he was gonna move to a youth team in France or Spain I’ve heard
One time I’m pretty sure I was up against a 20 year old at 15
Leagues did no proper checks
Getting humbled on an away day is the worst
You have to think about it on the journey home
In Japan we have this running joke among football playing students and when the opponent has a neck warmer pre-match, he is a youth team player
so we are always on a look out

I didn’t get ridiculed because everyone thought the same
They’ll get exposed if they tried to match up against him
RIP
But doing that for 60 mins was
You just have to foul him as much as you can
Result means nothing at that stage
Your pride
Flair player
put one foot close or try to tackle and you’ll look like a looney tunes character
Ever since then I spent more time in the gym to improve my physical game
But now I play futsal at uni
Futsal is really fun
Most of the football pitches here are 5aside cages
So it was easy to develop my touch and control
and occasionally 11 v 11 at my old osu toon
Yeah futsal is good
Helps improve your passing, movement, speed, and get some skills into your game
The Wolves cb Max Kilman played futsal for England
And you’re more involved
Because of that he can’t declare for Ukraine
A lot of our current Japanese NT players played futsal at youth
Vlahovic when he was a kid is too relentless
absolute menace
I’d wish to have a drip of that ability when I was younger
Japan started promoting more futsal in the younger age because we really need to play technically than physically since we don’t have much physical players
First ones to be known for their ability in futsal was Nakata
Also this is random but Messi flew into my home pitch https://youtu.be/UgBZGyAW3Zk
Lionel Messi visits Hackney Marshes
Came for an advert
A lot of the players you do have are technically secure though
I think if they move to Europe a bit younger
Yeah
It would help them prepare to the physical side
I can say I’ve played on the same grass as Messi
Nakata’s crazy to go to Serie A at 21 back then
everyone thought he’d fail to succeed in one of the biggest leagues at the time
What about Arsenal legend Junichi Inamoto
man was a different gravy and we won’t witness a man like him in our NT

Scored twice vs United for Fulham

tho, there is this documentary about our NT in the 2006 WC
You can see the complete class difference between Nakata and others
He saw the game much ahead
I’d dream to see Nakata-Kagawa-Honda
you're japanese?
Nakata retired super young for some reason
and Kazu is still active
Sources: With the full support of Dave Ziegler and Josh McDaniels, the #Raiders plan to offer Derek Carr top-tier QB money. I’m told that Carr is seeking in the range of $35M+. It’s also worth noting that both sides are open to a short-term extension. https://t.co/d9J2cw2p1E

Oh god, now Raider fans are thinking because Stafford won a SB after leaving the Lions the Raiders justify paying Carr that much. You know Stafford, the same guy who had a great offense around him and yet still led the league in INTs this year.
I'm telling you, this SB suddenly making the media think Stafford is HOF material. you can argue the dude wasn't even a top 10 QB for most of his career.
carr is good sure but unless they build a really good team around him the ceiling is just a decent playoff team
he doesn't have the accolades or hardware
its just hall of very good if he makes it at this point
Which he wouldn't but still
Carr is a good QB. Has a great arm when he actually uses it. But the dude makes terrible decisions when it actually matters. He's always gonna be remembered for throwing a ball away on 4th down.
Unfortunately for Stafford as good as he is he had to play in the same era as guys like Brady, Rodgers, Wilson, Brees, so on and so forth
Now he certainly could have a second half resurgence in LA but if he retired today he would never get in the Hall, I'd be willing to bet money on that
QBs with their peaks during Matthew Stafford's career Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, Ben Roethlisberger, Philip Rivers, Eli Manning, Matt Ryan, Tony Romo, Andrew Luck.
that's dumb but tbh i dislike the current trend of qbs holding the ball too long trying to make a miracle play
like just throw it away or at a reciever's feet if there's nothing there
35M? hell nah lol
Right?
Matthew Stafford could end up a HOF candidate someday, especially if he continues to produce for a contending team for the next several years. But people thinking he's HOF material now just because he won one SB is really lowering the bar for the HOF.
Carr is above average at best and about to be paid borderline elite money because Raiders gonna Raider
Agreed
yeah if he continues to have good stats for the rams for several years then maybe
but honestly don't like guys getting in solely out of statpadding in a long career
Same
The Raiders excuse is probably "At least it's not JaMarcus Russell."
True
Like, remember when Carson Palmer was a Raider?
I do
4K yards to only win 4 games.
I do too
@mild hamlet
This server sometimes.
dont worry about it
do people even use their braincells sometimes
Sorry for the ping
But back to Carr tbf you could do significantly worse than him at QB
But for 35+ you could do so much better
Let's face it, the Raiders only got him because the Texans didn't want another Carr at QB.
Gotta accept your position once you throw out those Ms
same as matt ryan in 2020. over 4500 yard to only win 4 games
Like, you aren't gonna get another 2016 out of Carr, it's all but inevitable at this point.
just overpaying to have a bandaid solution
i'd call them dumb but some fools are probably going to pay jimmy g like 25 million
Can I just say I was honestly impressed that the Falcons did as well as they did this past season.
A 3 game improvement with a roster that bad and a 1st year HC/GM? Not too shabby
Falcons FO don't know what their doing
same. really the big difference was going from sucking in close games to being one of the best at them
Like, the Raiders at this point are far gone from the days when out of touch Al Davis was running the franchise into the ground like Vince McMahon is doing now with the WWE today.
Yeah but they had a 1st year GM who inherited a mess, you can't just clean that in 1 offseason
the raiders had a good season. overpaying carr would be a mistake
I'm aware just saying they have been a mess for years
why else would there be a 7 part documentary on them
The problem is the Falcons had the chance to trade Matt Ryan to a contender and get a Trey Lance, Mac Jones, or Justin Fields. Now, it's all questionmarks for them.
Now you got an aging QB and a top tier pick with somehow 1 TD
heck they probably would have picked him if the 49ers took fields
still believe that a qb developing under matt ryan would have been amazing but eh
And they're probably gonna have to trade or cut Ridley because he either has personal issues he needs to deal with or is just done with ATL.
That's been the problem with the Falcons the last 20 years though. They refuse to rebuild completely and it has cause them big.
oh but 28-3. look at how close they were to a ring
"We're not rebuilding" - Falcons
Like, Rich McKay is still president of the Falcons. Like, it blows my mind how much Arthur Blank doesn't give a shit sometimes.
We are merely pretending to be relevant
but what do we know 💯
pitts was one of the dumbest picks that draft
"We only do enough to win more than 4 games a year."
he's a good player but who's throwing it to him in like two years
Yup
When the Lions do a better job with their old QB than you.
Falcons gonna draft another playmaker for mismatches just for that guy to get 1 target a game

I know I was very active in saying the Falcons were jackasses if they were gonna draft Pitts over a young QB. And now Pitts is gonna be going down the path of Tony Gonzalez. All wasted talent in their prime.
Also a good comp
Terrible too cuz I like Pitts but man being on that franchise
Oh didn't notice they fired their WR coach
spending a premium pick on a guy only to barely use him
Now we wait to see the Falcons try to sign quick fixes to their problems that blow up in their faces like they always do.
why not draft a qb? he could only do trick plays and kneel and still do as much
falcons proceed to sign jimmy g for 2 years 40 mill
I can see it now, Falcons sign Ronald Jones. He'll improve the running game.
Only to fumble on almost every carry.
If that isn't it. The Falcons will probably sign a Allen Robinson to only play 4 games before having a long term injury.
or saquon
And add a Ndamukong Suh. Because "SB experience"
Something many ppl thought should have happened but didn't.
Another top 10 pick they'll prob go another position again
I'm convinced if he wasn't a fucking idiot, they would've ran Michael Vick into the ground the same way they're doing with Ryan.
third rate organizations just become more of a third rate organization
I see the Falcons more of a second rate one. They do enough good to not be third rate but they do enough stupid shit to not be consider 1st rate.
Man the Sixers getting cooked rn lmao
meidocrity as an organization
I want to see the Sixers not make the playoffs just to say "You can't choke in the playoffs if you don't even make them"
Man, the dude is starting to look like Mark Henry. Lay off the cheesesteaks.

harden and embiid going to be the most out of shape injury prone duo in the league
They really put this shit on TNT. smh
yeah bout to find another game to watch
I love it that the Lightning let the Devils score 3 on them early in the game only for the Bolts to say "SIKE" and score 5 unanswered goals
sounds like high end talent
why try for an entire game when high end talent can bail you out in 20 minutes
Is that two Celtics national TV games in a row where they blowing someone out
Yep. And both times James Harden was on the opposing roster.
😂😂😂 true
They'd just let the 76ers lead 3 -1 first before reverse sweeping them
i'd laugh but that gives me too much ptsd to do so
ah 2019 when the eagles and cowboys both tried to hand the division to each other for an entire year
Tf is this
Oh my god

That’s embarrassing
@robust grotto congrats brother :)
congrats @robust grotto
Goodnight
been seeing a lot of eli manning hof discussion on twitter, i will defend eli with my life, he belongs in canton 100%
disagree=wrong
Kayvon Thibodeaux reportedly believes the New York Giants will take him in the 2022 NFL Draft #NYG

he even wants us🙄🙄
match made in heaven
he’s gonna be a giant
book it
Thank you guys @dim ledge @honest umbra ❤️ I wish I was watching but still amazing news to wake up to. To play for a medal is always very special, but for us to play for a medal in ice hockey… it’s soooooo huge. Unreal, I hope they can keep the run going.
i saw people congratulating you what’s going on
what country are you from
come on canada win so i can laugh at the US choking
before being eliminated by a better team probably because this team sucks and julien is a fraud
you were right
@dim kettle
The only thing this wasn’t was a 20 year contract. Which feels like basically will be. Mike Brown being a cheap ass
Better hope Taylor doesn’t turn into the next Chuck Pagano.
Slovakia
I’m the only person in my fam to be born in the US
https://twitter.com/pierrevlebrun/status/1493959399336992774?s=21 yeaaah I had a feeling this would happen. Gorton wants some of his guys that he drafted, naturally. Drury won’t have as much attachment. I expect someone like Arturri Lehkonen to be a Ranger
Keep an eye on the Rangers and the Habs between now and March 21. I think Montreal covets some Rangers prospects. Habs could fill some Rangers needs. Montreal would rather add prospects over picks. Already have 12 picks for the July draft. Rangers' pipeline drawing Habs interest
ty bro, Finland won’t be easy at all. Those guys are units and imo gold favorites at this point
yeah with the us and canada playing like dogwater they are
This is the best year for Slovak hockey in… forever . We have 3 kids to be drafted in the first round and 2 of them are def going to be top 10 picks
Finally after a decade plus of nothing… it’s coming back
2022 draft going to be the coyotes and habs picks
I bet the Rangers have a lot of great players you'd like to give the Bolts for a cheap price.
Yes you can take Libor Hajek back
Nah.
Spoiler, the number one pick goes to Chicago because hockey gods hate us all.
it'd be amazing if the guy didn't want to play for that dumpsterfire
and demanded to be traded
a massive middle finger they fully deserve
I'd think that would happen no matter where they'd pick in the top 10.
Funny enough I was going to message yesterday that I felt MTL and NYR could be partners bc of the history with Gorton
Oh I think Sweden just beat Canada
yeh
this team sucks
its a good thing tbh
maybe they'll actually run the team better next time
https://twitter.com/friedgehnic/status/1493975010368757766?s=21 what a final four hehehehehe
Tbh bro without NHL talent, USA and Canada are always going to be behind the 8ball
It’s nothing to be ashamed at
eh canada hockey is also run like shit
They literally won gold last May though
as a neutral the arrogant people who run it fully deserve this blackeye
that's due to high end talent
Yeaaaah I can’t deny that
Mangiapane was a monster
One of my favorites in the league, he’s sick
Power had an unreal tourney too. But yeah I actually understand. I think Finland has the best system in general
also the us weren't good but they still actually gave a fight to a good team
canada laid down and died
Not to be repetitive but we really need a World Cup lol I wanna see a tourney with full NHL players repping their country again
No team NA or team Europe, just a regular fucking tournament that every pro can play in without it being in the middle or end of their seasons
yeah
it makes sense as a global event with a bunch of other sports to host it now but purely for hockey its lame
man the pacers are 19-40
if only someone actually did a reality tv show on them
https://twitter.com/ericengels/status/1493977876345106439?s=21 lol MTL Rangers it seems
Kent Hughes says management is talking with former New York Rangers European scouting director Nick Bobrov.

"Jeff Petry, if we can find a trade that works for us and another team, we're going to do it. But it has to work."--Kent Hughes.
132
hey if another team is sucessful just take their talent
the vikings ship out cousins to get carr or watson
because big brother packers are going through arebuild
if the vikings get rid of kirk i’d be real surprised
eh kirk isn't good
eh ratio
i mean he's not going to lead them to any real success
he’s a better qb than majority of the league
yeah so what its not like they'll win anything with him
more of his terrible contract than anything else
don't know why a team would take it on
yes his contract is terrible but i still think they stick with him
they probably do
don't know why anyone should touch watson even with a 10 meter long pole
and the qb market is filled with qbs that aren't better than kirk
not saying anything by this but if we’re talking about purely deshauns nfl skill and nothing else, hes easily top 3
might not go that far but yeah hes one of the best
a shame that he had to take some other acts off of the field
he and dehop single-handedly carried that team
but yeah it’s a shame what’s happened
hope it’s false allegations but with that many i don’t know how probable that is
even if they are all fake the damage is done
yeah pretty much
@sweet tree
Wow what a great shirt til LA is in last place in the division in a couple years because they have no talent pool left

typical Aaron Rodgers coming up short just when he’s just about to get a ring https://t.co/c9uD0JHjK4
Here we go

eh i'd take a ring for that
way better than pissing away an all time great's career
Great thing about discord is streaming screens and watching with your friends who are far away
Inter winning 2-1 today I can feel it
also is that better than being good for 10 years and never winning a ring?
I got my bets on Liverpool
Games gone be tied till Jota scores the opening goal and let the flood gates open
They’ll prolly win but inter +216 was too good to pass up on
Damn
I don’t bet but
Im happy for my friend who bet on a Mbappe last minute goal
basically betting on 1-0 and Mbappe scoring
the hornets falling to shit. what a surprise. at least one overrated team with young talent implodes pretty much every year
I saw someone foresee on the internet a Messi penalty miss and Mbappe winner
I hate them so much
Why do I cheer for them
eh there's legit talent on the team
just big holes that have to be filled. realistically going to be a few years before they can really build something there but better than mediocrity - being trash
If you think a team owned/run by MJ has a chance to be consistently good, you're gonna have a bad time.
that also
Tinsel town...more like Title Town!
The Los Angeles Rams are celebrating their Super Bowl LVI victory with a parade in downtown L.A. on Wednesday after defeating the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night to take home the NFL's iconic Vince Lombardi trophy.
It comes on the heels of the LA Lakers and LA Dodgers both having won championships in ba...
rams parade right now
nice job doing it on a weekday
Sorry, after last year with Drunk Brady and throwing the trophy over the bay. All other SB parades fail in comparison.
On a side note, where are the fans? For that population like LA, there sure isn't a lot there.
Even winning a super bowl can't make LA give a shit about the Rams
It's kinda insane
all bout them Dodgers and Lakers
LA only cares about those that been there for decades.
Unless you're the Clippers. No one cares about the Clippers.
Makes me sad because I like Kwahi Leonard
Wish he coulda worked out in San Antonio
Or even Toronto
He had to pick LA's little brother. His own choice.
Is what it is man
Could also be that they limited how many people could show up, which is stupid if true cause the SB was sold out
Toronto could have been a beast in the east for while
Considering how much red jerseys were in that stadium a few weeks ago. It's not because they're limited
It's simple. LA didn't have a team for 20+ years and those people in the area are either Raider or Niner fans. Again, it's that exact reason they picked the Chargers over the Raiders. Stan didn't want the Raiders out shinning his team
Guess that is true
Jesus if the raiders would have stayed in Oakland
Cali would have 4 teams?
Niners, Rams, Chargers, Raiders?
That state is also the size of the 6 states on the east coast. So understandable to have that much teams at one point.
Like here in Florida. Tampa from Miami is like 3-4 hour ride. Pretty much like being in a different state but not really.
Now imagine going from LA to Oakland. That's pretty much a 5 hour drive I would assume.
nate solder is 6’9???
6’8 and 1/4, but you can round up if you want
YNWA
this fog
strange, it must be wrong then
they did limit the amount of people who can show up
and the people who are showing up are getting placed far from the parade itself
if you look at the pic without The narrative of “LA can’t bring a crowd” there’s actually a crowd there
but it doesn’t suit peoples narrative LOL
downtown itself was insane the night after the rams won the SB
I’ll take a SB over keeping our picks every year, some examples of the 32nd pick in the last few years include Nkeal Harry lmao
Plus ppl been saying that about Snead for over 6 years. He’s gotten them to 2 SBs and missed playoffs only once, it comes down to drafting well in the later rounds which he has
Idk. Like yes you can miss but also expending draft picks like that results in situations where, rn it's working, but it won't really be reloading it will be a hard rebuild
New England's dynasty had its Harrys and Chad Jacksons, but also Chandler Jones, Donta Hightower, Devin McCourty, Joe Thuney, Rob Gronkowski, Matt Light, Richard Seymour, etc
Plus countless role players. I am not a gm but idk my two cents
But that’s what the rams have done well, drafting well in the 3rd rounds or later. And they have gotten multitudes for every time a coach of diversity has gotten poached from them as well. They don’t need end of first round players when they have found Kupp, Rapp, Young, traded for Miller), Burgess etc in later rounds
Like the team is too heavy with AD, Von, OBJ etc but the players they have been surrounded with are the role players they haven’t had to overpay
@dim ledge u watching this Liverpool game? 👀
yea
Fabinho is so good
tbh Inter should have scored that first chance from Calhanoglou
Fabinho and virgil dude
unreal
he still on the AFCON high
but Liverpool still look the much better team
even a 0-0 wouldn’t be bad, anfield will be a much different story
I think luis diaz will come on
he will make a difference
mhm
yup
who scored
hm!
inter looking alright
looking REALLY good
in the 2nd half
that touch and pass to martinez almost
was so beautiful
perisic looking nice
at least he got toronto a ring
i mean i can take being irrelevant for being 10 years for one
would have sucked way more if they lost along the way though
Henderson for Fabinho I'm going to end my life
Bayern is gonna cost me my money

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIM SENOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR
GIVE THE BALL TO BOBBY AND HE WILL SCOOOOOOOOOOOOORE
MONONONONONONONHOJONO
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
SALAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
SALAH
salah just killed the tie
btw
that firmino header was something
coman goal
guy was lively all game, good finish
Fantastic game from Liverpool
In honestly calhanoglou should've slotted that first effort
But we defended so well
Virgil a stone wall
Diaz good chances when he came on
yikes i’m pretty sure i have covid
u good bro?
hopefully you recover quickly
i’ll probably be alright but me and my mom caught it apparently
needless to say i’ll be quarantining for a little bit
hope u and ur mom are good
appreciate it
hope you get well

Report: Lakers current roster will ‘probably’ be roster for next season too https://t.co/ov4GS6Odgp
Christ at least leave room for hope
hey as a leafs fan no hope > >>>>>>> false hope
No hope, only vibes
only misery
only 1 round
its just a4th win how hard can that be
I’m sorry I actually dislike making leafs jokes lol
eh i do it to cope at this point
can’t possibly be that hard, right ??
still over 2 more months before the leafs get inevitably smacked in game 7
You guys got Adam Brooks off waivers. I swear Dubas does this once a year without fail
we did?
oh we lost a player thru waivers ?? I’ll pick him back up, say less. Yeah earlier today
the leafs system
He loves his guys
What happens when you have no 1st round draft picks and stuck with contracts. At least they won a ring in all this.
better than nothing
though lakers fans might need bleach to clean their eyes for the time being
im not really that aware of the nba business side, but if the lakers wanted to buy out westbrook, how much would they pay?
Buy out Westbrook? Idk if they would do that. As terrible as he is
It's insane to me that he has regressed this hard
is it too early to say that their experiment with him has failed? we're 57 games in now
im not sure but with that contract wouldn't be worth it
nah it might be too late if anyone has just realized it
is zionever going to play
the pelicans might as well pretend he doesn't exist
he looks exactky like staley
yeah
Friedman just saying on Marek show:
"Do not sleep on #FlaPanthers in next 24 to 48hrs" [regarding trade deadline]
🙋♂️ not sleeping for next 48hrs.
112
Ok lol
and that's why i've been laughing at them
and cnn for comparing it to the miracle on ice
no the only "miracle" is how canada thought that julien was good enough to coach
Smh cnn was on crack for that one
Ha! CNN is the Jaguars of US News anyways.
Dude a good amount of forwards in the team were players that played under him in MTL lmfao
and they learned again why he was fired
Twelve teams scouting #mnwild and #nhljets, including #sens GM Pierre Dorion. Second time he has scouting Minnesota in the past month
Who tf would Minnesota want from Ottawa tho
why the wild? its not like they'll give up anything
Odd
the jets aren't a bad team either
if any team was scouting it should be the other way around
if only someone wanted justin holl
I sometimes forget the Jets are indeed playing in the NHL this year. Because they've done absolutely nothing this season.
oh the jets are 20-18-8
that's why
with the power of nhl ot points they somehow have a points percentage over .500
Love the speculation
There isn’t a more boring team and GM in the league than Chevy and the Jets
somehow beat the oilers last post season
The Jets are still the Thrashers to me a decade later.
and then proceed to still be boring
Chevy you have a decent team but need to freshen the squad a bit, maybe get younger, who will you acquire with all that cap space ?
Let’s go for Paul Stastny for the 2nd time
oh but they were playing playoff hockey in the regular season when they were losing
clearly not lol
canadian teams and inepitude a story for years
They brought the ineptness from Atlanta.
oh so that's where the leafs got their choking from
Idk they just rub me the wrong way. I respect the jets but they’re so meh it’s not even funny
Name the most exciting forward
yeah its not they are just lame
Come to think of it. 2 Canadian teams did play in Atlanta at one point.
Exactly
Ehlers yeah there you go
The only guy I really like on that roster is Hellebuyck.
Who would be a second line player at best on a good team. And I like Nik Ehlers
For sure. USA had a legit shot if NHL players were in the Olympics
And he had a lot to do w it
They play in Canada now but they're still the same Atlanta Thrashers I know and bored me.
God, the Southeast Division was so fucking worthless.
I kinda miss it though lmao
i mean is the us being a contender with nhl players really much of a statement lol
when its nhl players or trash from the ncaa
Nah I guess not but I’m just saying I believe they could’ve won gold this year is all
that's every time the nhl shows up
Really only twice in our lifetimes but you aren’t wrong I suppose
man…
bro NHL is lowkey hyped tonight between FLA/CAR and COL/VGK
they be producing the same looking coordinators in LA
next OC gonna look like staley/KOC too
no they'll go further
the player themselves plays the goal horn
and it gets picked up by a microphone or something
this is real hockey
this would be such a good series
how do they milk intermission so hard
20 minutes of action 20 minutes of talking and ads
what the hell was that
massive hit on trochek
ooh barkov
has to be a 7 game series of this
Bettman pls rig
would you want a leafs rangers series lol
Hello
Did the Knicks really blow another damn lead? smh
I’m not confident again any team in the east but more than anything I’m hoping we don’t see Carolina, so yes
Carolina is a great team and all. But are they truly as good as they think they are? IDK. I would've thought last year would've been their chance but the Lightning handled them.
going to have to see in the playoffs
no team looks so good that they are a bit above the rest so far
No, I don’t think so either. But they do have really stingy numbers in terms of goals against
At this point, it's enough of Canes have the power to be a cup contender and actually do it for once.
i don't think so but no guarantee any team is that good this year

Same with Florida. This is their best year in their history. But at the end of the day. Win 4 games in the playoffs then we'll talk.
No debate there
It is nice to see the Panthers able to fill 14K people in their arena for once.
Geez, I wonder why?!!!
this game? its in carolina
No, in general
You could also point to the Canes too. Remember when tickets were like 15 dollars 5 years ago?
PLEASE COME TO OUR GAAAAAMMEESS!!!!
Wow, Canes, you had an empty net. smh
canes choked with the open net
And the Panthers win.
Such a nice breakaway too. Got that puck through that little opening.
thank you mackenzie weegar

Man lakers really have no playmaking ability
Bulls have the best record in the east
waited 5 years for us to be good again 🙏
don't you guys have bron though
We only have any sort of playmaking when Lebron is on the court but tbh, a lot of the times even when he’s on the court there’s a lot of standing around and getting lost
AD HURT AGAIN
ad injured lol
Lmao

rick carlisle announcing news
sucks that he's injured again
shouldn't play in kobes with so many ankle sprains and stuff like that
How is it looking?
just a sprain
Ohh a lebron pfp
this is a really good game
the best double header i've seen in the regular season for a sport so far
the nuggets?
yeah?
o I thought lakers were playing
@dim ledge triple captaining trent wish me luck
is he usually worth his price?
yep and he plays two shit sides this week
Good luck, should pay out
oof gobert and conley struggling
flames have won as many in a row as the habs have won all season
kuemper has been unreal
If only he was this consistent this year.
THE KING 👑
LeBron recorded his 23rd straight game with 25+ points, tying Elgin Baylor for the longest streak within a season in Lakers history. https://t.co/NusSIwt6YX

thought the lakers were doing a lot worse but they’re a 9th seed lol
isnt that bad
LOL
King JAMES
that was a great win
That was a huge 3 by Reeves
Man idk after the like thousand tweets just slandering Russ the past few weeks i didn’t have high hopes lol
We shot bad from 3 this game tho
Search it yourself lol
Oh yeah I forgot it’s Wikipedia lmao
Can’t go wrong with cream but this has literally been the jersey, pattern and logo wise, for 3 straight outdoor games now lol
It’s beautiful though, not hating, just getting a little bored of it. Same stuff over and over
why change something when it can be hammered over and over again
at the same time they would get hammered for changing it
no winners
Toronto will unveil theirs tonight
Likely similar to these
oh toronto outdoor game?
looks fine but i also don't really have any connection to that long ago
Yep, just a few weeks after the Bolts and Preds play in the Titans stadium.
That should be good actually
but it’s kinda warm in Nashville no? Ice conditions could be a problem
I highly doubt it would be any different than a stadium series game in LA
I still want a hockey game at the RayJay damnit. lol
They aren’t half bad unis imo
Not a fan of the outlines making the numbers look 3D but
The number font really does look like they're playing in 95 and not 2022. I like them. But they really look a lot like the Bucs unis minus the pewter.
ferran had a good chance to score there.. then we conceded a few seconds later. 😐
I assume away goals are removed for UEL as well
True
How is auba doing
Was about to take a nap and saw rangers are up 2-0 to bvb
What the fuck is going on in that club
our counterpress has been good, had a few good options to score. shit defending but whatever
that half went fast
p decent tbh
Ferran Torres misses a good chance to put Barcelona ahead. He had to score. 🤦♂️🤦♂️

You gotta lose Take privileges for two weeks for this one 🤨 https://t.co/ZKEr2Z5Gxx

he was falling over tbf when he took that shot
I cannot do this till August
if we're gonna keep crossing it in, might as well put in luuk. Funnily enough he apparently has one of the most goals from headers in history
i now have an appreaction for actual hot takes
and not just i have no idea what i am talking about takes
that is also one of the worst top 5 lists i have seen
I'm convinced the dude made the list in 2 minutes.
The amount of people overrating Matthew Stafford because he won a single SB, (which he didn't play his best game, mind you.) is fucking silly af.
herbert is better than rodgers
how are herbert and stafford better than rodgers and mahomes LMAO
even allen is questionable
Stafford nearly lost the nfc title game
And would have lost the sb if hadnt been for Aaron Donald
I don’t particularly root for Mahomes
guy saw the chiefs struggle early on in the season and mahomes not make the super bowl and went he ain't top 5
But he is Top 2 and he not 2
Rodgers in the regular season sure
It’ll be interesting to see how Russell Wilson bounces back
and lamar
Because he was definitely in that top 5 mix before the year
he was good but think he got injured a bit and the team sucked
HOW ARE YOU 3-1 DOWN TO RANGERS
The Herbert Vs Burrow conversation will be interesting
before the season prob rodgers, mahomes, brady, wilson, maybe allen or lamar not necessarily in that order
its close
recency bias included prob burrow
overall herbert with two good seasons so far
I’m not sure I’ll even survive till next season if these takes keep rolling in like this lmao
4-1 down to Rangers now
the hall of fame discussion is interesting also
a lot of guys who aren't clear cut up for hall of fame voting in the next few years
the next meeting is just going to be saying we disagree and then leaving
The bar has already gotten low considering they thought Bryant Young was a top 5 candidate for the HOF this year when he was the least qualified candidate out of the 15 chosen.
If he continues to go down the path he is now and wins more championships, he'll deserve a spot there. But the reality is in his prime you could argue he wasn't even a top 10 QB in the league.
Matt Ryan has more credibility than Stafford rn
dembouz booed lmao
even if he does sure i guess but personally he wasn't close to the best in his prime so i'm iffy about it
tbf against stiff competition still hof players should still shine at some point at least
The most recent award that Stafford has gotten was comeback player of the year and that was over a decade ago. Like, he has all these passing yards but what exactly does that mean, what is the context of all those yards? He wasn't the most accurate guy, had multiple years where he's top 10 in INTs thrown. Lead the league in INTs this year.
I think he's like 5th in career INTs thrown among active QBs
RANGERS SUPREMACY???? @dim ledge
dortmund getting slapped huh
championships also are a team stat
like sure i guess it can be considered a player being a winner but really imo that's more due to the player's performance in those games rather than just winning the games
That’s somewhat positive
especially in the nfl where a guy plays only one side of the ball.
and even then just part of it. like a qb doesn't block, run routes, etc.
Championships in the NFL can be misleading a bit
I think they mean more in like the NBA. Less players
even still dame isn't a choker because portland pretty much never built a contender around him
The HOF is suppose to reward the best of the best for the time period they played in. And Stafford could barely make it into the top 10 QBs in his prime.
even in the nba a good player can only get you so far unless they can literally piggy back the entire team
for several series
yeh exactly. i have the same opinion in the nba. why have guys like lowry in the hof
Like, I hear people say Stafford played with inferior players in Detroit, Megatron was an inferior player? Really? A first ballot HOF? He spent 13 years in the league and in a league that is easier to get into the pro bowl with players opting out, Stafford has only had one fucking pro bowl appearance.
hell mac jones has one
and stafford didn't do shit in the few times he made the playoffs
burrow has made one playoff run and has one less win than he has in his entire career
Really, all this shit reminds me of the Julian Edelman HOF discussions 5 years ago after they beat the Falcons. The media really believes any good player can get in the HOF.
HOF debates are cancerous man but all it takes is a few guys that are in this weird middle spot to taint everything
Just make a "Hall of Pretty Good" lmao
I don’t like making HOF arguments for that reason. Gets so muddy so quick
Because tbh even if I love Julian, dude is not a HOFer
Eli is going to be the one to make people go nuts
Don't get me wrong there are years that he could have really bolstered his rep, like 2015 when he got hurt
If Eli gets in I don’t expect a lot of people to be happy
I don't think Eli deserves to get in
me neither
His defense kept him in low scoring super bowls
Me neither but I won’t be shocked if he does
Brady is literally a couple plays away from beating him in both
not gonna debate it
Just wanted to bring up someone that I believe will cause a lot of mayhem
Stafford I think has had better years than Eli tbh
can't wait for kirk cousins to somehow pad his stats for several more years and get an arguement for the hof when he gets traded to a good team
But I am getting tired of players who are good getting conflated with actual HOFers
just make the hall of good
Stafford being in the hall dilutes it
honestly only big ben has a real arguement out of these guys
Stafford won’t be in imo but there’s still more to his story
Eli at least can say he won 2 SBs against Tom Brady and Bill's Pats teams. But even I don't even think he was top 10 QBs in his prime too.
stafford doesn't even have better qb rating and qbr than rivers and kirk
sure but why does a guy who has been second tier at best deserve it
Love the guy but that’s exactly how I feel. I promise you people will use his starter streak as a key reason for him to be in
"Tom Brady won 7 titles, only missed the playoffs twice and one of those years was hurt, and went to 10 superbowls. HOF absolutely. And also there is 1 pro bowl, 1 super bowl Matt Stafford, no all pros Matt Stafford"
tom brady shouldn't even have to be mentioned
I feel like we all agree
just say look at whatever they use to write down the list and move on
But that's the thing. It feels like the Hall should be for players like Brady, Manning, Montana, Rodgers
i am going to quit football if somehow tom brady isn't a unanimous first ballot because one idiot doesn't put him there
Ferran missed so many chances @sweet tree
It’s insane how off his shots ALWAYS are lol
Not Stafford, Ryan, Eli, and Culpepper
More like 5
did you see that luuk bike
well as it rightfully should be
I would've ran outside naked bro
hof is for the best players not for very good players
dembele made a big difference
only 100 people are there? sure why not.
It’s why I don’t feel like Patrik Elias is a HOF but devil fans come for my head for that opinion
Should have been dembele traore luuk at the end
meh had the same thing with lowry on the team
Soooooo many missed chances
shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence but eh
nah but perfomance was good, should've been slapping napoli there if ferran finished those chances.
Yeah, the HOF is for the best of the best in the time period they played in. When we start putting QBs who weren't even top 10 in their time, then they just start to feel like participation awards.
I wanted that
Like clear cut chances
adama and dembele on both flanks would've been havoc
but ferran visibly from crying on the pitch after the game
oh fr...
yeah the best of the best who peaked as one of the best and had a successful career outside of that with the accolades also
dude has excellent positioning, he’s just so bad at finishing
Absolutely. It's fine to say if someone continues down the path sure
its like derrick rose he had a few good years and then got injured to shit
like at least test the GK
those misses will fuel him, he'll improve on those hopefully.
but oh he won mvp so he's somehow a hofer
yeah
Like let's say Matt Stafford, defies all expectations, plays for 7 more years, goes to 3 more super bowls and wins 2
sure if that miracle happens then yeah
somehow he'd made it because people'd stop caring after like 5 years
Like, we can argue about people like Joe Namath. Yeah, his stats weren't the best in his prime. But he was an all pro, 5x pro bowler between the AFL/NFL. League MVP, SB MVP, etc
Just tired of "most recent super bowl winner is best team ever and best players ever"
Like every year
the rams weren't even the best team this year
"Is this the best super bowl ever??????? Tom Brady can play forever??? Matt Stafford a Hall of Famer??? Mahomes the GOAT????"
ESPN really loves the shit takes. Happens when less and less people don't want to watch your crap.
😂😂😂
that twitter handle sounds like their entire season
LOLcow of the year for the nhl
ESPN helped me do one thing in the past 10 years and that is finding out which nba teams are in which divisions for a second
That's it
NBA does make great caps.
i also don't even know either because they don't make much sense
And I keep them in hat containers organized by division
only have a cap from the raptors winning it all
I can only guess Seattle.
maybe the bullets also
How did rangers win 4-2 against dortmund @sweet tree
old nba team names are wild
the detroit falcons? an alternative universe where that is the most miserable franchise in the nba
I dunno I wasn't watching that match
but BvB has been poor this season, they were getting cooked by Ajax in UCL as well.
think Ajax slapped them 4-0 at home and 3-1 away
It seems it’s their defense that is letting so many goals in
Haaland is def leaving lol
fosho
Just one day after playing for the White Sox against the Cubs at Wrigley Field, Jordan debuts with the Double-A Birmingham Barons of the Southern League and plays right field. He goes hitless in three at-bats. https://t.co/kfkXljX83L
Despite talk before the Super Bowl that Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald could ride off into the sunset and retire as a champion, Donald is indicating that he will play in 2022.Donald said during the Rams’ victory celebration that he plans to “run it back,” and afterward he said he wants to remain with the [more]
He's obviously coming back but that's not a fun game to play
It's the gronk shit that I got tired of real fast
"I'll only play if my frens come play"
Or "I'll only play with the people I wanna play with"
A first-round pick for Jimmy Garoppolo? Peter King said it’s certainly on the table for the #49ers. https://t.co/843ZTU2ka4
Alright, whose gonna be the dumb, desperate team to do this?
I can't honestly believe that there is a team desperate enough for a QB that they would shell out a 1 for Jimmy G of all people
SF were the ones to shell out a king's ransom to grab Lance, let them lay in the bed they made
Remember, this is the same league that had the Vikings trade a 1st for Sam Bradford.
True
But you know, the big difference is that is that trade happened after Teddy blew his knee before week 1. Not in February.
God, I hope Jason Licht isn't humoring this.
Give him some credit
The dumbest trade he's ever done was that Aguayo one, and that was 6 years ago
GMs can be unpredictable all the same.
Although, if he can re-sign Godwin, he's the GOAT hands down.
hey lance doesn't suck yet
plus can't blame other teams if they are greedy
and what else lol the picks were going either be for a high draft pick or a guy like stafford
That's if a team is truly desperate
