Hockey genuinely has the best model with the amount of juniors leagues in the world. Still going to school but your job is playing hockey. Whether it’s junior leagues in canada, US development programs, or the junior teams for professional organizations in Europe
If US basketball can some how copy the CHL model, the amount of elite talent at a young age would be insane

Trust me, I also have my limits. I don't get enough chances to watch basketball often because hockey season is also playing along side it.
I can see problems ahead if the NBA does go back allowing teams to draft high school guys. Mainly, by 17-18 years old they're still learning their craft and yet NBA teams and fanbases will expect them to be game changers day one. Even in the NHL, look at Jack Hughes. The dude just now is showing that potential he had when selected in 2019 with the 1st overall pick.
