Mhm
rj second?
could be yeah
zion is dropping off hard
on a team that doesnt know what its doing at all
morant is #1 in my opinion
Teams trash
Zion had all the media attention when he first got drafted
zion's conditioning is equally trash
then he started playing better and lamelo just got all the attention
when they traded AD
and got 1 pick
got zion
they had suchhhhhh a bright future
with ball, ingram, etc etc
wtf happened lmao?
If you compare it to lebron entering the league the hype for Zion just went down fast
literally took 10 steps backwards
nah the pelicans felt like they were going to blow it
zion's been good the issue is staying on the damn court
Zion looked like he was for a bit
Zion only played like 30 games in his first year
Availability is so important man
when he plays and he's in shape he's damn good
he became an all star the next year but that’s all really
that's just barely the case with him though
the thing is
he already wnats to leave NOLA
whats his incentive
to stay in shape
and play well?
some ppl just dont have that motor or drive
man feels like i'm just watching something like greg oden happen real time
lebron was rare
Yeah he really does just need to be on the court. But his conditioning and body is just not sustainable
nah zions already done more than oden
plus kd was drafted after oden so oden had it even worse
i know but like really talented guy who just falls apart years after
Oden was a bust from like year 1
due to injuries
he had like a stretch of like 40-50 games last year? with 50%fg staright shooting
like zion will prob hard fall off by year 5
some teams just drag stars down with them
i mean hes already requested to leave
in his year 2 lmao
no doubt he will leave
Yup lol
zion doesn't really deserve it tbh
BI too, he so nice
second year and he's already in such ass condition
feel bad for BI more
he's really good and he's just gotten better
BI's always been good
another case of the teams dragging down a player
hes not that young anymore
Well I don’t feel too bad for BI given he completely changed his career around after leaving the lakers
like ingrams peak at once was maybeeee KD
and i mean like veryyy barely
given their body stature
but his shot aint there
like not as much
his playstyle seems like he’d average a cool 25
he's 24
even in his “peak”
he ain't that old
Shots not as fluid as KD but that’s KD
his shot is nice though
and this is coming from an ingram fan since day 1
he was my fav laker over ball, kuzma, etc lol
Feel like Ingram is more like Middleton than KD lmao
which is still good
I’m glad he got out of La
middleton has never been the 1 option on his team though
and has always had good talent
ingram is usually 1st shooting option
esp when zion is out, hes 1st option overall
idk if he is with zion on the court
im sure if bucks offense on court was centered around middleton a little
he could prob average 25
Zions playstyle is more in the paint so he doesn’t take up possessions like BI does
idk middleton benefits a bunch from good talent
hard to say
Middleton got a crazy good mid range
Middleton clearly has it in him to average 25 but yeah bucks don’t center around him
he could yeah but idk if the offense could be good and he averages 25
yeah when you got the greek freak all you gotta do is feed the big man lol
since his efficency gets boosted a ton by playing with giannis
Yeah he’d average 25 on like a 9 or 10 seed
i guess BI is the same rn
tbh lol
like the pelicans are 9/10 seed at best
thats being nice
honestly and this might be wild they might be better off if they trade zion and get another star who can stay on the cout
Zion to miami would be fire
but miami wouldn’t give up ANYBODY
Simmons
Don’t think Boston letting them go
celtics might blow it up actually at this rate
eh are they going to win with them?
remains to be seen
they suck this year
and what's the ceiling with tatum and brown and having to develop them together?
Celtics seem to always almost reach the finals or eastern conference finals these days
they ain't now
too many good teams in the east
I think they’re close to hitting it
like this might be the peak or a lil more
yeah and that isn't a contender in this east anymore
Yeah
i'd blow it up if i'm boston
and trade tatum
why
and he's a pretty good player
why would boston do this
please tell me you are joking
and if tatum wants to be like kobe he can play elsewhere
Tatum is like a newborn baby to the celtics
tatum is playing insane
tatum is the star, brown is really good
but u dont build solely around him
a Tatum or Brown trade would just put them in a downward spiral
trading an actual superstar would be the worst thing ever for boston
idek with the nets anymore
the issue is are they going to be in one regardless?
tatum and brown are putting up 26 each on at least okay splits and they are 2-4
i mean ofc not lol
you'd be getting a star back
Even if they’re doing garbage now the celtics don’t want to bet something like that
too risky for them
it is but they are just wasting talent as is
and tatum and brown just have too similar of a skillset
True
its hard to win with two wings as your two best players
it’s just wasting talent is better than losing it all together in their eyes
they'll never win it all then
if its cool with them then sure
but otherwise its going to be like the blazers at this rate
I think what they need is a better bench, cause not having rozier was a huge loss
also a better center and pg
it'd be nice if one of their stars you know was that lol
Yeah lol
yeah that's the issue having two wings means its just two of a good thing
i actually kinda agree boston just kinda seems stuck?
like not sure what they can really do
nothing really
and having two wings can kinda work like pg and kawhi but tatum and brown arent on that level
but they dont have much to improve from their position
pg and kawhi are just too damn good
and plus both of them benefited development wise and leadership wise a ton by being on separate teams first
and having their own individual success
yea and they still got solid pieces around them
the clippers are like the ideal version of the celtics
and even they have question marks about if they can win a ring or not
plus can tatum and brown even develop to the level of someone like kawhi?
yea might be like the blazers with cj and dame when yea they both good but never will be good enough
yeah that was an example i brought up earlier
oh great minds think alike then lmao
lol gn
zion has been on a gumbo diet for the past 2 years
That New Orleans food something dangerous lol
new orleans food is good for u
Zion would have had weight issues anywhere
He would. Dude had weight issues before he joined the Pelicans
Yeah but he wasn’t on an NBA team
where staff and nutritionists are a lot better than colleges
I don’t like how the pelicans handle their players so it’s a shame someone like zion is there lol
is andrew thomas good? we’re gonna need every player we can get if we’re gonna beat the chiefs tonight
ik i was wondering if he was gonna play
Titans’ RB Derrick Henry suffered a potentially season-ending foot injury during Sunday’s 34-31 win over Indianapolis, sources reported ESPN. Henry is undergoing an MRI today to determine the full extent of the damage.
welp, there goes my season, derrick henry is out
from what i''ve heard it's on his end actually
the pelicans aren't the best org sure but they still have their own staff and nuritionists
Holy shit nuno got sacked
Took long enough
Derrick Henry broke 5th metatarsal in his foot, MRI will determine if surgery is needed or not and how long he will miss
pretty serious injury for henry
that houston goes too
Felt like I've seen that Orange Magic uni the last few years.
yeah the magic haven't changed it much
The #Titans are expected to work out veteran RB Adrian Peterson this week, sources say, in the wake of the Derrick Henry foot injury. Tennessee could replace the MVP candidate with one of the greatest running backs of all time.
lol
think i've seen utah and phoenix have the same/similar jerseys before also
utah jersey is basically their city one
yeah that's just lame
vikings offense is so trash for the talent on it
they scored 16 points on the cowboys with thielen cook and jefferson
cowboys didn't look good and the vikings still lost
if dak's out for a while they might lose to a team they should beat
In Which All Optimism Dies... Hog Edition
Run out on second ball !
The hero of my past trying to sub the hero of my present, dont think it will work lol
maybe the titans won't run henry into the game again
what
von miller and aaron donald on the same team would be insane
#Saints QB Jameis Winston does, in fact, have a torn ACL, source said after the MRI. He is out for the season. There is also damage to the MCL.
embiid out vs blazers for rest
Comp update: Rams are sending the Broncos a second- and third-round pick in the 2022 draft in exchange for eight-time Pro Bowl LB Von Miller, per sources
Oh wow
why is the nfc west just pain and misery
Niner fans rn:
why did i choose the niners out of any other team
At least you have the Leaf- Okay, I'll stop.
the leafs have a worse record than the raptors right now
the rams are always improving huh
I'm happy that Von Miller is going to a team that will be competing for a Super Bowl in the Rams, but not having Von on the team genuinely makes me feel sick to my stomach.
He meant so much to the Broncos, and to the entire fan base. It's like losing a franchise QB.

Von Miller was the face of that team for a while
It aint losing Brady but damn does it sting
Reminds me when Ronde Barber retired. Basically was the face of the Bucs for so many years.
New identities form but it takes some time
losing lowry stung hard
I am still getting used to Mac and not having Tom
i feel horrible for broncos fans, that took the wind out of their sail in one fell swoop
The Broncos sold their souls for that SB.
they've been playing their asses off to be 4-4 and then this happens
And nearly didn't get there
Brady almost lead the pats to a comeback in that 2015 title game
and not having even won the ring
And I'll always be the first to say I was right about Elway being overrated as an exec and was being carried by Peyton Manning and Josh McDaniels' picks.
yeah but i meant that carolina has also had a downward spiral since then
Yeah, they forget Demaryius Thomas was drafted by McDaniels.
As part of the trade, the Broncos are paying $9 million of Von Miller’s remaining $9.7 million salary, per sources.
lol
at this point i’m not surprised😭
Ravens' Malik Harrison struck by stray bullet in Cleveland, suffers non-life threatening injury https://t.co/rfjqftoXNV
Zion Williamson out at least 2-to-3 more weeks, Pels coach Willie Green tells reporters today. https://t.co/WOZhqsOkDW

From NFL Now: #Titans RB Derrick Henry will have foot surgery tomorrow morning and be out 6-10 weeks. Six would be quite fast, eight is more likely. Either way, Tennessee expects Henry back this season. https://t.co/UzoJqNlcFF

Nuno took one for the team so Ole can walk
Spurs getting Conte is beyond my understandings
Damn, that hurts big time
Spurs throwing the game so they can take conte before united can
Taking one for the team

aguero is out for 3 months
Adrian Peterson initially is signing to the Titans’ practice squad with the expectation he will be added to active roster, per source. https://t.co/bUaqEOOV5G

noooooo
he’s gunna eat
it seemed he had an irregular heart beat, but yeah don't see him returning for a while honestly
Honestly prob gone for the season
Excited to see von miller on the team
he isn’t in his prime anymore but he is gonna benefit from being on that defense
von miller's going to be good with a more limited role
Most likely the best talent Arsenal have https://twitter.com/arsenalacademy/status/1455164336746471425?s=21

@celest zephyr @burnt cedar crazy, the hype is real.
First four opponents:
Khamzat: John Philips, Rhys Mckee, Gerald Meerschaert, Li Jingliang
Khabib: Kamal Shalorus, Gleison Tibau, Thiago Tavares, Abel Trujillo
Conor: Marcus Brimage, Max Holloway, Diego Brandão, Dustin Poirier
Izzy: Rob Wilkinson, Marvin Vettori, Brad Tavares, Derek Brunson
caliber of opponents isnt even close though
but then again, khamzat had less fights in his records entering ufc i think
I have to give him credit
His one of the UFC hype trains that haven’t derailed
They are talking about him fighting Burns next which would be perfect and the ultimate test
B4 title
Antonio Conte to Tottenham, confirmed and here we go. The contract until June 2023 will be signed on Tuesday. The verbal agreement is now completed. He’s back in the Premier League. ⚪️🇮🇹 #THFC
Fabio Paratici wanted him since June and changed Conte’s mind. Incredible work. #Conte

doesn't hit as hard as tankbowl
the real question is does either team get a win before that game
because it'd be amazing if their first win was against the team that was as bad as them
it would be so damn exciting, but i think khamzat would keep it standing
luque is even a better match up
conte is class, seems spurs are willing to spend in the next transfer window due to his request
mahomes?
chief's turnover luck catching up to them, for the past 8 weeks.
Sorensen has been awful
He shouldn’t be on the team
7-7
Should have been an int
Bad attempt at a one handed catch
Mahomes struggling
Mahomes giving out ints and almost ints like candy
Giants d sucks
14-7
14-10
bulls really came back from like 20 down against the celtics
love to see it
Celtics chokers
Poor Boston. ||Said no one outside of the New England area||
It was 17-2 in the 4th at one point
For the Knicks
Still 29-9
Chiefs d sucks
In other news, water is wet.
lmao love how that guy used every time now
I'm telling you, the Raps only sucked last year because they played their home games in central Florida. It's against the laws of this world for a pro basketball team to be good in central Florida.
I hate this division
Lmao
Rams doing that short term success thing. You better hope it ends with a ring before cap hell and no draft picks pile up.
Unless you're the Kings.
Raptors looking good
they punted at 4&1
what the fuck
are they thinking
yeah playing in florida and then guys weren't in the lineup
due to iirc like injuries and covid
just a shitshow
oh barnes had a thumb injury. doesn't sound too bad but not great when the raptors don't have siakam also
they need to actually give it to toney instead of making stupid qb run plays
just fire jason garrett
Yeah they have to fire him
Clearly the Blackhawks rn.
mahomes is such a fraud, he’s so bad
Franz Wagner is going nuts rn.
Chiefs look like shit
The Magic win a basketball game.
Franz Wagner
Seriously, Arrowhead is ready to have a riot if the Chiefs don't win.
Like, any Buc fan who thinks the Bucs D was bad rn clearly hasn't watched a Chiefs game this year.
He’s going to get an earful in the locker room
This chiefs team just has too many holes
Not a contender
def ez pick 6 and fell lol sneed
Or playoff team
Zion Williamson (fat) is out at least 2 to 3 more weeks.
2075
16347
lol
Yeah, for people saying Mahomes is doing bad this year. Just remember they won 3 games this year because of Mahomes or else this team would be lucky to have 1 win so far.
Chiefs
Giants
Until now
Oh they scored
Never mind
17-14
Of course it’s to Engram
And Sorensen is just bad
People are treating Mahomes like Buc fans did to Jameis. Which makes me wonder an alternate universe were Jameis goes to 2 SBs winning one.
Peyton’s house is nice
NFC west
Good luck Tennessee
It's funny to think the Bucs have a harder time with the Saints front line than the Rams. I mean, Donald only has like one sack on Brady in 2 games.
Thanks, ESPN, for showing how NFL defenses are exposing the Chiefs offense.
Dumb penalty
The Chiefs really need that number 2 tall Mike Evans like receiver. Their two best receivers are both speed types.
They need a guy like Watkins also
Haven’t been able to do short throws consistently
Playcalling is garbage. Run down the middle, just because.
LOLGIANTS
Another drop.
ffs
This Chiefs team. It feels like Dirk Koetter is coaching them.
If it was an actually good team they’d be easily winning
Remember, coaches focused more on enforcing taunting calls than helmet to helmet hits.
didn't the receiver get held?
He did, but he wasn't gonna make that catch.
I'm just waiting for that pick 6 now
Come on mahomes throw an int
20-17
This better not go to OT
That RZ playcalling makes my head hurt.
Lol giants offense sucks
I wouldn't feel proud about this win if I'm a Chiefs fan.
Should have lost
Looking at the Chiefs upcoming schedule:
Was a BS call but the Giants offense prolapsed on the field when it mattered most. That's the bottom line.
i'm just glad i don't have to watch that game for longer
the actual bottom line is this is completely playcalling
jason garrett cannot stay any longer
Everyone needs to go. GM, HC, OC, QB, etc
worst oc in the entire league
daniel jones wasn't awful
didn't make the best decisions
but the playcalling was just awful
Most likely, Burns isn’t any joke, can’t forget his knockdowns on usman
don’t worry guys!! definitely a facemask!!
watching the leafs
the seahawks making the jamal adams trade is just great
they are mediocre don't even have their first this year and are basically russell wilson and a few offensive weapons
Draisatl got very angry at the kraken
NUFC expect to appoint Unai Emery before the weekend. More to follow @MailSport

WOW
This fucking league is ruthless. Arsenal and Wolves are flying up the table. Brighton and West Ham have been solid. Spurs just got Conte and could change turn season around… and now Newcastle potentially getting a competent manager ? Whew
I understand that Newcastle aren’t even in the same conversation as the others but still, should only get better with Emery
any deshaun news? will he make it to another team by the deadline?
you think OBJ gets traded ?
and nah, nothing yet… who knows. I don’t understand trading for him, personally
should he win the case and be innocent, he’s easily a top 5 qb
he’s most definitely gonna be, if not before the deadline it’s 100% after this season
Should make for an interesting day
No matter what NYG should really just pull the bandaid with Engram
if we get it over with now it’ll be so much easier than keeping him and suffering the consequences
We’ve suffered enough already 😦
Oh boy. Can’t wait for dinamo to kick the shit outta barca.
is it possible for michael thomas to return this week
Sources: The #Texans are trading young pass-rusher Charles Omenihu to the #49ers in exchange for a future late-rounder. The former fifth rounder, who has been an intriguing trade name for weeks, has a new landing spot.

is he good?
promising
hope he develops with kinlaw out then
Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III was involved in a serious car accident in Las Vegas early Tuesday morning. https://t.co/4ksgaIQAdz

noooo
praying everything is alright
Other people died in the crash
the accident happened at 3:30 AM, that’s not good news at all…. He might’ve been drunk
#BREAKING: Metro police confirm Raiders player Henry Ruggs III was the driver in this morning's fatal crash and "showed signs of impairment." He will be charged with DUI resulting in death. https://t.co/VuOd72pjpc
Yeah his career is over
That’s it for him: fucking awful
that’s really tragic, he was just starting to develop
you should know better than to do that man
you hate to see stuff like that
terrible situation all around
yeah that's it
All Henry had to do was make 1 phone call and someone would’ve picked him up
I’m sure the Raiders know players want to fool around, it’s Vegas after all. They would’ve set up a ride in a second. This is just really sad
he could have called an uber or something like that or taken a taxi/shuttle
or even called one of the guys on his team/his friends
Under Nevada law, DUI resulting in death is a Class B felony and punishment includes 2-to-20 years in prison.
Henry Ruggs' lawyer to TMZ: "We are conducting our own investigation as of this writing and ask everyone to reserve judgment until all the facts are in."
since he’s a athlete he’ll get out with a slap on his wrist and a small fine
Watson will not be traded btw
Every team in sports has a car service for players; it’s legit inexcusable
The dudes rich and had multiple options that didn't involve drink driving. At worst he could have just gotten a hotel.
The NFLPA literally has a service for this
Trade or is he staying?
No clue
I mean he’s in the last year of his rookie deal so I could see a trade for like a Day 3 pick maybe
As long as it’s a good price
Gotta get Vaughn on the field though
Kinda stopped trusting him after his consistent ineptitude at blocking
And since Lenny is somewhat consistent he’s obviously no going anywhere rn
Whoever takes ROJO. Have fun with his fumbling and terrible blocking
At least he’s a nice power back with break away speed
Think nothing is happening at this trade deadline.
@rustic mountain can I please get the Colts for Thursday?
You know what, I'll pick all the wrong teams this week.
Give me the Jets @rustic mountain
Ramp up talk that they should leave White as their starter even if Wilson is healthy
I am taking the Jets tbh
I want the Jets because it would be funny af if Mike White ended up kicking Elder Wilson to the curb
Did you know that the Jets apparently have a top 10 pass D?
stares at Mac's 50 burger on them
they do?
You don't say
With their secondary?
....
what the hell
LMAOOOOOO
my brain is dead
The next pats pro bowl qb

But I will say beating LA. That was fucking sick
And we nearly beat Dallas and nearly Tampa tbh
Loving what we are doing
Bill is Bill for a reason. Makes his mediocre roster (he built BTW) and coaches them to be better.
Yeah his roster building is hella flawed
It's why we had to spend hard in free agency
But all but Jonnu have really been doing well
Judon has been great, Henry been great, Phillips basically beat LA
So

I hope that Bill listens finally to his scouts and forever remembers going against what they said about the likes of Nkeal Harry. May Harry be the last fucking disaster pick in the first round for a while
The dude really thought drafting Harry and having Phillip Dorsett be a key receiver was a good idea.
I don't even know how Phillip Dorsett had a job after his time with the Colts.
I don't think so
They suck at drafting receivers.
You're telling me
I've been experiencing it since fucking Chad Jackson's dumbass
Bethel Johnson
Fucking god

you saw the game against pittsburgh?
this team can barely beat the redwings and the blackhawks
vegas could put out an ahl team and the leafs would somehow have a decent chance of losing
If the high end talent show up should be easy win
Unless their goalie goes off
If not then could be rough
1-0 leafs
yes mathews and marner scored
I saw. First game I'm watching on ESPN+. They really have every game now.
The Leafs are just dominating rn.
i know nothing about basketball and i have a question
in nfl terms
tell me about trae young
like
compare him to a player or something
oh espn + nice
idk tbh the only guy who comes to mind for me is kyler murray
but i'd have to watch more of him to come up with a good one
i heard he’s really good but disliked
I still wish the Magic pushed more to get Young in the draft that year.
mo bamba has to be one of the worst picks recently at this point
Mo is getting better. Because he's finally getting minutes to play.
He blocks shots like crazy and has a decent jump shot for a center.
IDK how it's only 2-0 rn. The Leafs could've scored 4-5 goals already.
And Matthews has a second goal now
knights feel like just a shell of what they were for the past few years
Makes sense given the injuries. But, they still have some vets that should be helping the coaches with keeping their play somewhat competitive. Seems like they're all lost in their heads and not confident at all.
This is the first adversity the organization has faced too, right?
They need some Lasso vibes.
Kings looked like shit up until two games ago cause they were lost in their own heads and had no confidence.
The body language was depressing.
Also, watch the intermission interview with Gabe Villardi during the blowout at the hands of the Blues for a real depressing moment. Kid was checked out as hard as one could be.
feels like the organization has made panic moves
Knights?
yeah
I haven't been paying much attention to comment on that.
Leafs coming hard right out of the gates. haha
really wish i didn't have class or had a way to watch it
The Leafs win when you're in class.
haha, keep it up, Kimmy
4-0 Leafs
haha no lol
I swear the Leafs keep getting break away chances. What is defense, Vegas?
Lehner is having a real bad time.
they've lost twice on monday
He's not happy with the defensive play at all.
I think the Bolts play the Leafs next. They keep getting 3 days off. Thank God I have ESPN+ to fill the void. lol
No, They have a day off than face the Sens next.
oh sens shouldn't be too hard for the bolts
The Bolts are back to normal basically. The only team so far to beat the Caps in regulation.
Yeah, kinda odd start to the season for a lot of teams.
I suppose a lot of that could be attributed to early injuries.
Usually by the end of December you can tell whose the contenders and pretenders are
At least those that are doing poorly.
Then, you got the Sabres kicking butt. haha
they'll fall off eventually
The Sabres always start good then lose 10 of 13 a month.
Unless they actually do the Eichel trade and bring in some serious help.
No idea who they could actually trade him for that would be serious help though. haha
a lot of contenders showing up already
They're the Mariners of hockey. No matter how much it looks good on paper, They always will find a way to punch their fans in the dick. And Chinese knock-off jerseys.
Definitely a few, that's for sure. Avs...when they are playing their game, it is beautiful.
Their 5v5 looks like they are on the PP.
We all know their main goal is getting passed the second round and Stanley Cup.
They really are contending to be the new Caps of choking.
They would need 10 million bad contracts long term for that to happen.
I mean, now, yeah. I was speaking to being choke champions.
I dunno. Leafs are a kinda unique.
I mean, the Houston Oilers of the early 90s maybe.
Sharks were insanely competitive during the regular season for like over a decade. But, only got to the finals once and lost. They'd never get too far.
Everyone would expect great things from the Sharks.
Really, can't think much of a hockey choke compared to the Leafs rn
Leafs...everyone expects them to suck.
idk i feel like its more of when's the year they finally break through
That whole country of Canada chokes when it matters in the playoffs. Even the Habs failed last season. 28 years and counting.
Yeah, that's the other thing with the Leafs too. They've not been very competitive until these last few years. Not in any meaningful way that set high expectations for them in the playoffs.
Habs didn't choke though.
They weren't expected to make it out of the 1st round
hard to call it choking when tampa was just the first team that didn't overlook them
nor any other
Yeah, that would mean the Habs would have expectations
yeah
But, The Canucks, the Oilers, the Maple Leafs, Sens, Flames, they all find a way to choke comes the playoffs.
Don't forget the Jets.
Easy money @celest zephyr
Not just last season. We're talking about the many chances since 93
Canucks not recently but, during the sedins era. yes.
Think we can beat the Canucks tonight? Igor vs Demko
Remember when the Sens always got owned by the Leafs no matter how good they were?
I never paid all that much attention. I'm in LA too.
But, yeah, sometimes those match ups are brutal for whatever reason.
Those games are great for building the rivalry.
"why the hell do we keep losing to them? they suck!"
God, the Rangers and Devils have 10 o clock games on the east coast.
"they keep losing to us! they suck!"
I hate west coast games.
they are always fun when both teams are close
Yessser late nights for us. It’s enjoyable to me
We have a back to back w EDM and CGY on Friday / Saturday so I’m pumped for that
As the Rags lose 2 straight
- Don't forget tonight's game.
wouldn't mind that at all as a leafs fan
since tampa, boston and florida all seem to be good now
tough matchups but this team likes playing on the road, we should get one.. pls
I have no idea if the rags won or lost their last game.
won
Yeah, I'm never taking the Canucks seriously till Benning is thrown out the door.
vs kraken
right on
pacific is a pretty soft division
at the moment, yeah.
lots of injuries and rebuilding across the division.
At least for the better organizations that used to be pretty dominant.
Oilers...they have just been run by idiots.
Yet, the Pacific teams have more points to the Central teams so far. lol
tbf happens when the blackhawks and coyotes are in the same division
and both suck
The Ducks this year so far look so much different. They can actually do things like score goals. And have a PP.
That's good to hear.
I miss a strong Pacific division with real competitive rivalries.
Soups with a great game tonight. Leafs are helping out well too.
Gonna be honest, the only team I see being really good in the future is the Kings. Seattle is new, Calgary is Calgary, (sorry, I don't trust you.) And the Ducks, IDK.
oilers?
The Oilers are run by morons.
If anything, they're a first round, second round exit.
I mean, they have been making some very big strides in improving how the organization seems to be run.
I’d like to see the Oilers do well but I have zero expectations besides at least making the playoffs
They aren't switching up GMs and coaches every year.
There's some more sense and resolve to their plans.
their gm almost got run out due to the current situation
Keith...no idea about that decision. But, that's one "wtf" move compared to 324234 in past seasons.
Wild tie it, 4-4
that nurse contract isn't good
True.
Kimmy do you feel better now that NYR are in TOR company in terms of contracts
what does that mean lol
ah yeah
The Oilers lucked out as an organization getting McDavid and Draisaitl and nothing else to show for it. Literally the Oilers have shown no proof to backup their clams of the team being run better besides not firing everyone every 4-5 years into a rebuild. They still hired a GM that ran the Wings into the ground during his Twilight years.
if they play well then its fine
tampa has a pretty similar situation but at the end of the day they are b2b champs
word… they don’t need to stress it as much
i don't get why the oilers have so many like 5 mill contracts
The difference between Tampa and Toronto is the Bolts can pay less because they don't have to worry about a state income tax.
Same with the Panthers.
Canada's economy is always being fucked up. It's a reason a lot of Canadian teams moved to the US in the 90s.
Canada’s economy is why the league will never go back to QC
It's the main reason hockey has a hardcap. Without that, places like Winnipeg wouldn't have a hockey team rn.
what do you mean?
Hockey by nature is all parity. Momentum changes on a dime in Hockey.
I’ve seen people argue it before. Basically.. Pittsburgh, LA, and Chicago dominated an era. TB is killing it right now. The same teams are always awful ( Sabres, Yotes )
If a team with much more capital could spend as much as they wish the league would find a few teams being very very very good and many teams being very very very bad.
TB isn't killing it right now.
LA never dominated.
He means the era
Neither did those other teams in recent memory since the cap.
Washington was dominant in the regular season for a long time
No I’m with you guys don’t get me wrong lol. I always feel you NEVER know who will win the cup going into the season
Yes, same with most games during the regular season.
That's in part due to a hard cap for teams to spend on players.
What they never tell you is how big the margins are compared to other teams. Usually the top teams would only lead by 8-10 points compared to 7th, 8th seed teams and those 7th and 8th seed teams have shown to be threats come playoff time.
Yes. Even those 8th seed teams have a chance.
The Kings basically beat the top 3 seeded teams in the west and make it to the Finals and win it all in 2011-12
As a 8th seed
Yup. Parity!
That Blues run was insane too
The 2019 playoffs WE DON'T TALK ABOUT!
The one they dominated. Then, it was game 7 after game 7.
My least favorite cup finals recently was PIT - NSH
Lasts years wasn’t so great either, sorry MTL lol
It never felt right
I'm a bias Bolts fan. I say they were the best Finals I saw.
But the real finals were the Isles and Bolts.
For a neutral, that final was cheeks
felt like houston - golden state in 2018
Except without 37 missed 3 pointers.
Looks like the Braves will end it tonight btw
I didn't really think the Kings and Rangers Finals was all that good till the Double OT game. That's usually the one I thought was disappointing.
You see I don’t wanna come off as defensive
But 3 of the 4 losses were in OT, two of those 3 being double OT
the game we got blew out was awful tho ofc
I understand why you think it was a poor series lol, 4-1 and it was low scoring
Quick and Lundvist doing their thing.
Compared to the games the Hawks and Kings played. Yeah, it was pretty disappointing. OT alone doesn't change that IMO
Definitely I get it
atlanta can still choke
as long as the the game isn't over
And the Braves score again.
I love that one Astro fan in the crowd putting their head into a towel in disbelief after the Braves made it 5-0.
Fuck man I’ve really seen the whole damn NL East win it smh
Second NL East team the Astros have fallen to.
Somehow the Astros will beat the Mets in a WS to counteract this narrative, because why not.
Yup good points
did the braves win yet?
Up 6-0 after 5
Ye more or less
im glad pederson gets a ring
braves have some kewl players
funny they won without acuna
Dodger fans just thinking. "This could've been our moment! Damn these late injuries."
injuries are part of the game
i am not upset
at the end of the day, we lost becuz of our offense not our pitching
when the nl batting champion trea turner goes from batting .330 to mostly under .200 in postszn, its crazy
Sounds like Lowe. Hits dingers then suddenly goes 0-18 at bat.
🥲
lol god damnit man
lmaooo
good for freddie
yeah this is pretty much over
7-0 ATL after 8
IS OVER

As expected
Why the Chopper
You from Houston?
Makes sense
Get a better bullpen next time
true.
very true.
Yeah, with how much scrutiny the Raiders were under for Gruden there was no shot they could justify keeping Ruggs when he literally killed someone
u watching this? @hollow wind
much closer game
than the one u went to
turn it on
should be good finish
lakers defense when it needs to turn on goes crazy
huh
i'm kinda concerned with the lakers and their inability to put away bad teams
sure its early in the season but struggling to put away the thunder and rockets isn't a good sign
Damn the big 3 went off

westbrook has been
looking rlly good imo
him/ad shouldnt shoot 3s
other than that, very good

And now, #Saints WR Michael Thomas makes the announcement. He’s out for the season. https://t.co/OlwTsYY4I3
that’s crazy
that’s awful
Aaron Rodgers tested positive for COVID-19, as @TomPelissero reported. He’s out Sunday vs. Chiefs.

wait what
Marlins 2003, Phillies 2008, Nationals 2019, Braves 2021. The pain of the Mets fandom rages on. Sick of watching all our division rivals win
saquon and gollagoat could play this week
I unironically have more faith that I’ll see a Mets championship before I’ll see a Rangers championship
Panthers designated RB Christian McCaffrey to return from IR.
114
i unironically have more faith that the jets will see the super bowl again before the giants
not the craziest thing
giants are a shitshow
that doesn't look like it'll be winning anytime soon
Of course, because you know every 54 years the Rangers win a cup.
hey that's better than the leafs
More or less I don’t expect any championships from my NYC teams
I’d be so happy for Jets fans
Thanks bud
at least one of the new york teams would make it😪
Facts ! I’d support a Jets super bowl
Jets fans are awesome, way better than giants fans
“ELI’s ELITE!”
News: The #Texans have cut cornerback Vernon Hargreaves, per sources. Hargreaves started in five games this season and signed a one-year deal with the team in the offseason. The Texans part with the former first-round pick a day after the trade deadline.
https://t.co/SDt8RY3WS9
Oh, no, the corner that didn’t give a shit about playing defense got cut
Arsenal just soaring up the table
Cleveland has 100 percent vaccination among its players. Kevin Love is also in Health and Safety Protocols. https://t.co/FNIaNesjd5
they should just cut kevin love
Not the news we were hoping for.
Coach Sullivan confirms that Sidney Crosby and Brian Dumoulin missed practice after testing positive for COVID-19. Both players are in the COVID protocol right now.
Crosby has mild symptoms and Dumoulin is currently asymptomatic.
yeah ruggs is done for
