I'm sorry, going 11/25 from the field 6/15 from 3 being one of his better performances only intensifies the lack of great, critical play when the heat is on him. And that's the point, he doesn't play at the level he does compared to his regular season stats. That's what choking is. IDK, all I see from this is Peyton Manning syndrome. Heck, maybe Harden will show up one day when it matters most and win a title like Peyton did. Only time will tell.

curry is all time great player so is lebron, kd is around there now and projects to most likely be there in the future. he's also had not a ton of playoff success other than 2012, 2016 and joining the warriors, giannis is already like top 30,35 at least and only won this year and has the 2019 run also
kawhi's been one of the best playoff performers when healthy for years
luka has one of the greatest of all time potential and also has yet to see any success
jokic is perhaps one of the greatest offensive centres to exist and has had only one good playoff run so far, embiid has one of the best centres ever potential if he can stay healthy and also has had only 2019
my point is a) the top of the league is stacked and b) several of them haven't had much playoff success or needed to be on a really good team to do so (KD, Giannis)
its damn hard to win something even as one of the best in the league
in fact that at this point is the bare mininum: have a top player in the league or have that level of talent

It's not the matter of winning the actual game. It's the matter of actually showing up to win when it matters most. Harden could perform at the same level has does or better in the regular season and still lose. It's the fact that there's no evidence to support James Harden performing at an elite level in elimination games. KD and Giannis have proven to show up in games that matter. Harden hasn't.
