It’s not impossible but it doesn’t work out well for tv
The groups who are yet to play know they just need more than 3 points
And they’re through for 3rd
Teams who played first don’t have that advantage
To know what will take them through
so u think spain will make it?
portugal most likely makes it
England will fall into 3rd place
unless france blows them out
it may likely be Slovakia in 3rd
Czech Republic and Croatia wins and England fall to 3rd
hard to determine who'll end up 3rd
I think I got this
If two of
Croatia drawing Scotland
France beating Portugal by 4 AND Hungary not beating Germany
(Spain losing to Slovakia OR winning by 3) AND Poland not beating Sweden
Finland goes through
If Spain draws they'll have 3 and 0 difference, that puts them above both Finland and Ukraine
yeah
would be super wank from them qualifying that way
Spain drawing all 3 games reminds me of when New Zealand were the only undefeated team at the 2010 World Cup
3 draws
Yea
1-0
isn't that what Portugal did
new zealand kits >>>
we actually qualified to the ro16 in the 98 world cup by drawing all three matches lol
Italy beat both Cameroon and Austria, and they drew each other, so they ended with 2 points
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jy_NEIwYN3E @hidden rampart
Doc Rivers is back again after failing to make the Eastern Conference Finals, sorry Doc 🤦🏾♂️😂
Follow on @supremedreams_1 and @rdcworld1
😭
1998 WC
well if spain draw, they would have 0 gd which puts them ahead of Ukraine for 3rd
but hard to say given other groups still have to play
hold up, we're playing already
Chile vs Uruguay
“That game wasn’t on me imma stand on that”

It was, he left Ben Simmons out there for 36 minutes!
it's not a Chile-Uruguay match if there isn't a yellow card in each side before minute 20
YEEEEEEEEES
VAMOSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
“One of the teams, they weren’t interested at the very end. I was thinking, ‘You’re sticking with that motherf--ker?’”
@TomBrady kept receipts on his free agency 🤐 @brgridiron

which team @proud coyote @rustic ore @dim kettle
That's what I'm wondering, just don't know what QB could've potentially rubbed Brady the wrong way to the point of being referred to as a motherfucker, unless he just swears like a sailor and does that with multiple people
Best guess would be SF
It may have also been the Bears.
Dude grew up in Cali and was a big 49ers fan, I'm sure he would've enjoyed playing for his childhood fav team
On a side note
NFL history for @Raiders player Carl Nassib, first active gay player. https://t.co/SW5FSwtOEK
Good for Carl, always seemed like a decent dude from the snippets we're privy to as fans from mic'd up sessions
Hell, knowing the Niners luck, he would've been injured like everyone else on that team.
Still though, extremely stupid in hindsight
Even if you want to even the scales and say Brady and Jimmy G both at 100% throughout the year Jimmy doesn't come anywhere close to Brady's level
which country looks the strongest so far in the european championship?
brady had just come off his worst year in a WHILE, as a 42 year old man.
With arguably the worst receiving core in the league
Jimmy had been pretty decent that year and as the year had progressed he'd been looking better and better
I mean, he had edelman that year. By all advanced metrics it was as much of a regression on his part as his teammates
it's easy to say in hindsight but after 2019 people were saying Brady was done
a bit too soon to say but I would say Italy & Netherlands for me. With Germany right behind them in terms of performance. I had France winning the Euros as they've got the most / best stacked team in the tournament.
not sweden
lul
hey, we did 0-0 against spain
isak is a fun player to watch I'll say
more a reflection of spain at this point
one goal in two games against Sweden and Poland
yeah they've fallen
Slovakia scored more against Poland
i think its sweden poland on wednesday
havnt been able to see any game yet, but on wednesday ill make sure i will
It was easy to say Brady was washed in 2019. Even I thought so when the Bucs signed him. Hindsight is, when Phillip Dorsett is one of your top receivers all year for the Pats there should be red flags everywhere.
dont even know who this isak guy is
oli
@rustic ore @dim kettle
this is the paramount example of peoples' attitudes at the time
hes a promising Swedish youngster
plays for rso in la liga and plays barca often
so i see him a lot
always dread him, so talented
seahawks sub, btw
I wanted the Bucs to keep Winston. That was my mind set at that time.
honestly, he would have been good lol
not Brady good but better than he was in 2019
this isnt gonna happen but if winston wins the title with NO, can we grant him as the best saints QB ever?
takes a bit for QBs to get used to the Arians system and despite the interceptions he produced
I'm always gonna be a Jameis defender.
i too actually like jameis
and want him to play over hill 120%
i think its absurd people even think hill is a remotely good QB
will keep that in mind when i watch on wednesday
forsberg is awesome too, oli
seems like the whole team is new
Brady's picks last year were all very similar to ones Winston threw in 2019. Brady just never threw many balls downfield in double coverage like Jameis did.
where is zlatan? ljungberg? larsson?
henke larsson is even grey haired now lmao
arent u grey haired?
...
its funny
not bad
when is messi playing, mala?
against paraguay?
argentina vs paraguay
they're defensively sound
arent they?
might need messi
i heard aguero might start today
lol yea
di maria too
and paredes back becuz lo celso injured
de paul gonna have to be amazing today
hes been rlly good
hes gonna destroy us when he joins atm lol
de paul probably their best midfielder imo
simeone is gonna turn him into a beast
I don’t follow CONMEBOL, how’s it been?
Damn I didn’t know that. They have amazing fans too
ive not seen ever my game, just a few here and there so not very invested.... also this new format is weird
yeah
New format?
the passionate fans would've helped down there
group stages is a bit pointless
2 groups of 5 teams with 4 of the 5 qualifying to the quarterfinals
it used to be 3 groups of 4, with 6 qualifying directly and the best 2 3rd teams getting a spot for the knockout rounds
oh shit - that is odd
they couldn't invite other countries, I think it's probably due to covid. They usually invite 2 countries
South America only has 10 teams so it's hard to make a tournament with just those 10.
Copa America 2016 had 16 teams, was probably the best one imo. Also it being the 100th anniversary of the competition made it more special lol
he's starting
ah that’s right, I forget about that. I remember Japan in a recent one
yeah, Qatar was aslo in 2019
wheres the starting 11
thats crazyyyyyy
but paul has been amazing
thats an amazing lineup though
WAIT
OTAMENDI IS OUT TOO
ye
no lautaro and no otamendi
you said lo celso was injured right
yup
came off and had ice on his feet last game
lo celso and messi have good chemistry
acuna did deserve to start though
Brereton made an assist lol
I expected him to be a decent rotation player, but he's better than three generic Liga MX wingers in a trenchcoat
he looks good on the ball too
ah
i just hope this team wins..
so hes not like
"omg they suck back to reset"
they technically havent lost in their last 15 games
pezzella is apparently good in serie a and prob way better than otamendi
papu is gonna be key today
I like that scaloni went with an all out attack option, they seem to struggle to score the 2nd one
anyways if they win today will go first in the group
i love this lineup, only 2 changes i would make is acuna for tag and paul for rodriguez
due to the lack of time to work together, NT managers sometimes overrate experience
We keep starting Vidal who is at like 40%
probably rest key players vs bolivia
i love the hustle of gonzalez and ofc lautaro is class but aguero/di maria deserve minute
yea if they win today
they can rest messi
yep
Suárez scored I think
hmm
went down as vidal OG
What I want to understand...
We have Maripán (1.94m), Sierralta (1.93m), then we put Roco (1.91m) to replace injured Maripán,
and yet the one fighting the ball with Vecino before the goal (1.89m) is Medel (1.71m)
medel is p much like a bulldog
not a guy you would wanna play against if I'm being honest
as small as he is the only player I have seen Medel struggling with through a whole match, is Cahill who was an aerial beast on his own
AKA: "Congrats, Sixers!" (2021)
How the hell did Philly blow this series to Atlanta? Dead serious. There is no reasonable explanation as to how a team collapses in multiple games in a single series, especially to one you were considered superior to. Trae Young may have been outstanding (excluding game seven), but that is still no excuse.
This ...
not failed yet
process still continues after ben simmons trade
👍
not true
bright future ahead of us
if
simmons is traded
but]
nah it ain't over yet
who would take him?
embiid is still there
his value literally dropped astronmically
In all seriousness someone will take simmons
if you give up simmons and an asset like a first
but u wont get as much for him anymore
you're getting somethng
honestly do it for cj
that's the best realistic trade now
cj and embiid dont do anything together
DI MARIA
and harris for some other pieces
WARRA BALL
papu is nice
Stamkos scoring at even strength in the playoffs. Don’t see that often
tampa shooting a lot early
That shit was nasty

nba with a content house now what
almost a yeet there
Chris Paul out for game 2
Chris Paul (health and safety protocols) is listed as out on the Suns' injury report for Game 2.
No Marcus Morris on there for the Clippers.
What a take away Yanni!
tampa score twice
Also Yanni owned Green there.
He shot the puck right at him and deflected into the net
new york islanders not looking good
tampa dominant
hard to blame varlamov much
the islanders' defense has been awful
Literally!
8 odd man rushes so far
Ranger salt.
just making too many bad plays
The Bolts had a reverse card in hand.
I didn't even notice, they brought in top prospect Sorokin into the game.
LMAOOO
had to try something
but they're playing like shit so idk how that'll help
Happens.
Sorokin should be starter next year anyways.
I like the Lightning... but I am just happy Paul Porter keeps getting big games to call. We owe him one. @BoltsByTheBay
Magic users actually acknowledging the Bolts. Weird.
messi was offside, di maria's shot went in messi's trajectory which could be considered as blocking the GK's view
anyways argentina kinda left the foot off the gas once they scored, they seem to struggle to contain possession but we'll see
he didnt touch anything
and def wasnt blocking his view
he made the block lmao
this def isnt chalked off if brazil get a goal like this
doesn't really need to touch the ball tho, just needs to be in the trajectory. Idk, I don't think it's a bad call
that was a lot of posts
seems okay
NYI done
Hey, at least Isles fans can switch to some NBA- OH WAIT!
It's strange how there's no NBA tonight.
Simmons Hill thybulle and a first for brogdon and levert
the pacers would instantly take that
Stammer is looking for the hat trick rn.
Clippers have played every two days the whole playoffs so far I think
that's a lot for brogdon and levert
the pacers would do that
Just woth the players alone doesn’t feel like enough since Simmons value dropped hella
interested in any spurs players?
spurs players wouldn't move the needle
Dejounte derozan and white
Dude, watch the Bulls trade for Ben.
Dude made two good trades and thought he was the shit
i'd keep simmons for a bigger trade
maybe derozan but i wouldn't personally move simmons for either dejounte or white
Derozan could work
Because Chicago needs someone whose more inaccurate than Trubisky.
😭
trubisky is a bill now
I still think trading for brogdon and levert is the best out realistically
that's a good one
Like there’s no way we’re getting Beal or lillard
Someone has to replace him.
derozan is another guy
starting lineup would go crazy
cj might a bit out of reach but not impossible
Ben would fit perfect in the lolz in Chicago.
Brogdon curry levert Harris embiid
With milton and maxey off the bench
And Danny green if we could keep him
going to be interesting to see what they look for
what they get for simmons and probably tobias is going to be huge for their future
When you have maxey and Milton he’s useless
thybulle might have to go
He didn’t shoot well which is what he was supposed to do
in a trade
Yeah
His lack of scoring kills us sometimes
And he’s another guy you could hack late in the game
he's just a 3 and d guy
Because he hasn’t shot over 60% from the ft line in his career
Me watching #BullsNation go at it over whether AK & ME should go after Ben Simmons 😎 https://t.co/VtEe4vmP86
odd that he's shooting ben simmons levels
And this year he shot 45% or something
He doesn’t get many calls anyways because he’s lurking at the perimeter but isn’t efficient whatsoever when he does get fouled
He’s a 30% 3pt shooter as well
he can progress hopefully
idk i might just take what value you can get for him now
I think Morey should try to keep him at least because if you trade Simmons he’ll be able to fill that defensive stopper role
When players were guarded by him I think they had the lowest shooting percentage
he should try but realistically to get good deals for simmons and harris you
re going to have to give up other things
5-0 Bolts. This game is basically over now.
their perimeter defense will suck if they lose simmons and thybulle though
2-2
need guys that can shoot though
Sixers need a starting point guard bad
The Lightning apparently took Pulock's last second block personally
29-10 shots for tampa
yeah they need shooters
really need what thybulle is supposed to do
but can't do on offense
Matt Martin trying to be tough guy again.
lottery tomorrow
who are the magic sending?
You think the raptors get the first pick? @celest zephyr
Raptors could get the first pick actually. That maybe a dark horse prediction
huh they are 7th
It would be another example of how stupid the lottery is but it's possible.
Pelicans have jumped up before
Just think about it. Usually the top 3 teams with the highest odds usually never get's the 1st pick.
Also 6-0 Bolts.
The only team I don't want getting the first pick is the Bulls. Because that's like a double whammy for the Magic.
Depends on which trade they do
Using the brogdon and levert one as an example they’re both pretty good defenders
At least I think levert is
I know brogdons supposed to be good
On Defense
God, Barzal just cheap shot Rutta after the period ended.
This is starting to feel like the Panthers series all over again.
6-0?
Yeah
levert feels like only a hypothetical
Looks like the Flames are blowing it up.
health is something to consider for him.
This #Isles fan is not happy with the teams performance tonight. 🤣
🎥 @NHLonNBCSports https://t.co/bSvriduHyl
The Bolts got the Touchdown.
yeah his health is a big issue
Finally. Few GMs anger me more than Treliving and I’m not even a flames fan
Flames have pissed me off more times than not the last 5-6 years.
I’m with you lol couldn’t imagine how their fans feel
They were done the moment they gave up 7 unanswered goals after scoring 3 in the first period last year.
this is cruel and unusual punishment for any islanders fans who are still watching
Which basically led them to over pay on those Canuck UFAs lol
the isles have super passionate fans. Most of which are Jet/Met fans. ( which I am too lol ) they’re used to cruel things
Make that 8 goals.
TD and 2 point conversion
If this isn't a undressing. IDK what is.
They can still win game 6 like 2-1 and everyone will forget this. Isles have a roster full of mosquitoes
they are lucky this is one game
For real
I dislike them by the way, had to put that out there lol
it’s definitely cruel to play your worst game of the season at this point of the year
I know the Isles full well. They still have the same problem they had against the Bolts last year. They can't score enough. I think they only had one PP goal against Vasy rn. IDK if that can win you 4 games against the Bolts.
They desperately need to start keeping possession more to even have a chance
The one thing I'm surprised hasn't happened this series yet is no games have went to OT.
Agree
crazy for how many one score games there have been
It could still happened. But the problem comes is the Isles still can't score enough goals. Even with that great Barry Trotz defense, it doesn't work out against a team like the Lightning.
In an OT situation.
Okay, the Mets losing 1-0 is such a Met thing to do.
We won the earlier game of the doubleheader so all good in my books
The NL East is such a joke considering all the suppose talent that's suppose to be in that division.
Back to Calgary, I do hope they blow it up this summer. But Tkachuk is the wrong dude
facts
Flames might have to do all of it. But hey, the Flames can at least suck in their new arena in a few years.
Is it even official
I recall the issue being the city refuses to pay for, so the owners are in a stalemate
Valimaki?
I guess yeah, this was his first season
I'm assuming Zary and Pelletier are there too.
they have some goaltender that was on Canada WJC I think?? But my point is, I don’t know their pool and they aren’t exactly young and upcoming
Yes Pelletier
I think the goalie was Dustin Wolf, USA rather
Welcome
spencer knight was on it
Yes.
And I hate that my Bolts will have to deal with Spencer Knight for years to come.
Makes things “fun”
First time I ever wanted the Panthers to go to hell. Only took 18 years of being a Bolts fan for that to happen.
Bolts will just draft some 5’9 scoring winger from Quebec in the 6th round, no need to worry
as a leafs fan not envying having to do the same thing.
I’m a Rangers fan. Half the teams and fan bases dislike us lmao
I think that's more of we hate the OG 6 teams kind of hate.
A lot has to do with NYC stigma as well. Philly, Boston, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, DC, Florida team all naturally dislike us in all sports
I grew up in a Devils fan family. So even as a Bolts fan I love making fun of King Henrik and his zero cups jokes.
Welp
surprised the islanders twitter even bothered to post the score
We can absolutely skip those jokes lmfao
All I have to say is "Henrique! It's over" and you probably will get PTSD.
The TB loss in game 7 hurts more than Henrique it’s over tbh
We would’ve beaten CHI in 15
That game was stressful for me. That series was stressful as a whole.
I didn't even think the Bolts were even gonna make it to the 3rd round that year.
are you from the tri state ?
I live in the Tampa area.
true, you mentioned devs family so figured I’d ask
But I lived in NJ when I was very young.
That's why I said most of my family are Devil fans.
I’m from NJ lol
Yeah, I sometimes visit up there.
Nice nice
but anyway yeah that 15 series was real close. That was the start of this current TB team as well. Really
Remember “the triplets”
I still miss that paring.. I honestly miss when Tyler Johnson wasn't invisible in most times.
He’s fallen off a cliff
actually I’ll give him last years playoff, he wasn’t bad iirc
For the contract he has now, Just being mediocre just hurts.
Another 3-4 years of this.
practically every team has one of those
I’m happy no GM took him while he was waived last summer. No favors to TB please and thanks ( no offense lol )
We tried putting him in waiver claims. But no sucker wanted to take him. Jim Benning disappointed me.
Man, free agency is gonna be a nightmare for us. Coleman most likely gone, Goodrow gone, Colton maybe going to Seattle.
Benning is the working on being the new Chiarelli
Honestly though, knock on wood, if all goes to plan here then it was worth it
Vancouver seriously needs to take Jim's phone and laptop away from him in July.
One cup was worth it enough. I don't like how BriseBois is giving away 1st round picks like candy but when you have Stamkos and Kuch signed long term you can wake up feeling dangerous sometimes.
Dude it’s always in July lmao
Yu Darvish with five consecutive strikeouts through 2 innings.
Jinx coming?
Mookie betts is very good
not this year but im glad to see he hit a HR
and hes a defensive beast so i love him
Boston fans cry in a corner
To think Boston only got rid of him because they were being cheap.
tbf they got verdugo from us
who's been a blessing for them
and been better than betts this szn
Yeah I thought he was fine for them
very personality dominant
Nah, I still think a lot of them are still very sad about Mookie not being there. Mostly the motive as to why he's not there.
Speaking of Boston. OMG Wander Franco gonna be playing against Boston tomorrow.
I'm watching that Dodgers Padres game rn. And all I hear is White Sox TV announcer Jason Benetti commentating it on ESPN.

jason benetti is on?
On the ESPN feed.
im watching it on dodgers broadcast with joe davis and orel hershiser
Yeah, you're watching the Dodgers sportsnet feed I'm assuming.

one win away
If the knights advance, I hope the Lightning sweep them.
I really do
Also, if Cade ends up with Toronto, man that would be something. I trust them to develop players, as they have done earlier. And they have talent to be a playoff team.
habs-tbl final please
PLEASEEEEEE
Chris Lee sucks. Fuck Vegas
Fuck Vegas
With the power of Grit and Veteranosity. You too can fuck Vegas out of the playoffs.
let's hope
Bergevin just shows up to McCrimmons house
Vegas folds the series
I want to pay someone to make a Yakuza edit where Bergevin throws his jacket off to reveal a Yakuza stylised Youppi tattoo
😝
U good bro?
Holy crap, slept through the game but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a score that lopsided before, 8-0
Hope Rutta is okay
Most lopsided playoff result in 20 years for what I have seen

I’m sure this was posted the other day but a funny thought just occurred to me
Frank Clark arrested for felony illegal possession of a firearm. https://t.co/W3kiGzWJWm

Nothing like driving a lambo while carrying an uzi to make you feel like you’re in GTA

It’s a fun time
a lot of stuff happened in the nfl
Nba lottery day
That would be something
they have more than a 50% chance of that
They did in 2018 as well, and they ended up picking out of the top 4 instead
So I'm gonna need Lady Luck to be a bit nice to the instead for once
oh right
pretty sure they got mo bamba then
there are like at least 10 or 11 players drafted below him the magic would probably rather have thanhim
oh wendell carter jr is actually a magic player lol
Tell me about it
Our now former HC just wouldn't play him
They desperately need a shooter
hard to play a guy like him when you have a ton of pfs and centres
Got my fingers crossed that not only does ORL end up with a top 4 pick but also lands any of Cade, Kuminga, or either of the Jalens
can't wait for them to draft another pf/centre that can't shoot
it would be funnier for them to draft a guy and then swap him for mobley
hopeful much?
Rockets prolly getting Cade
I can’t wait for the Magic to get the 6th pick and the Bulls get the first pick.
Hahaha
Sizers fans should have know what to expect after that clip of Ben Simmons missing the ocean last summer
In just 2 periods they scored 6 lol
The oilers, blues , wild and capitals are the only teams that played in the nhl playoffs that have no game with as many or more points than ben simmons had in game 7 in a playoff game
i hope that the czech republic will win

Asked if the Sixers are committed to Ben Simmons being the roster next season, Daryl Morey said,"We're committed to this group. This is a really good group."
187
NO
NOO
NO
FUCK
HWAT THE FUCK MOREY
🙏 please be lying
Trying not to damage Simmons’ value.
Smart move by Morey
Don’t take these things at face value
Same clown organization that thought Doc "Choke on these Ribs" Rivers was gonna bring different results for the Sixers this year.
LOL
in all seriousness they are trying to not dent simmons value more
and also tobias
Trust the Process is turning into Trust the Perennial Second Round Playoff Elimination.
*Trust the Perennial Disappointment
Leafs have become Trust next year being different
Oh next year is always different for the Leafs. They find new ways to not make it past the 1st round.
Sixers front office was a mess
Are you joshing me?
*Trust not choking next year
Morey needs to be smart this off-season
He’s not getting Beal though with just Simmons
I just love picking on the vocal minority of Sixer fans that like to talk shit on reddit and twitter to Trust Mah Process; even when it's year 8-9 of this process and nothing to show for it.
I'd love to see pop get livid at simmons for not trying to improve on offense
Lesson to learn from all this. Tanking and getting draft capital doesn't mean shit when the people running the show don't know how to draft.
hey at least now you know that the regular season means nothing
It was reported that Morey was holding out for a max player like Beal. Yeah, he’s going to get someone like McCollum though.
The Bolts know this too well before 2020.
Siren, are the Orlando Magic point guards good?
They need shooting guards correct more?
Fultz shows promise despite the ACL tear. I'm more looking for SG position.
I feel like the Magic are gonna be at 5-6 pick
That would suck
The wolves got enough top picks
Cavs too
Maybe throw a bone to the kings?
That's what happens when you only have a 14% chance of winning the lottery. Gonna have that forced parity in the league that still doesn't exist in the NBA mind you.
Don’t know if the kings draft green or Mobley if they get 2. I don’t think why care too much about Bagley
Star driven league
Think the Magic get 2 or 3
Star Driven League but it has never been this bad.
Worst case 4
I prefer over the warriors cavs era
100%
its now become where a rookie contract player can get pissed off
Zion
and publically say he wants to leave
Luka
tbf to zion even though he's played 1.5 seasons only the pelicans have made some of the dumbest moves ever
around a guy who scores only in the paint
Griffin has been really dumb
Extending Adams was a foolish move
And Bledsoe is just mediocrity incarnate
its going to be his third coach in three years
Have to get it right
Lots of things in the league I just hate. I don't watch enough of it, but what the fuck happened to having defense? There's no defense anymore and every player wants to go ring chase instead of building teams and building a relationship with the city you're playing in.
Atkinson would be nice
Don’t mind it if they’re buy out players or players past their prime
But superteams are bad
the pelicans have to realize that if they screw this hire up zion will have a different coach for every year of his rookie contract
he at this point might as well just sign for one year after and become an ufa
Like, IDK how the NBA is a healthy league when 98% of teams are fucked from the beginning.
Just skip to the 3rd round and the Finals.
The regular season means absolutely nothing these days.
Because everyone's getting injured or choking.
It's probably gonna go back to the status quo next season.
Nah
Still think the quick turnaround will still be an issue to the health of players
For next season
Can’t change choking
there are sometimes good second round series
this year was good for 3 out of 4 of them
And only the sixers really got eliminated this round due to choking
Even with injuries, it was still an entertaining watch.
You know the sad part is I don't even think these are the most boring years of the NBA. From 99 to 2007. You couldn't watch the NBA Finals without falling asleep. Like scores of 76-63, 80-74.
I prefer this over knowing the outcome
I watched the Suns during that time and they were fun to watch.
Too bad they lost in the postseason.
Even with the parity in the NBA rn in the playoffs. There just isn't that rivalry playoff atmosphere you would see in the NBA playoffs over 10-15 years ago. Like the Hawks and Bucks series coming up. Why should either team hate each other. Especially when the league has gotten so soft over the years.
Look at the Bolts and Isles series rn. You can tell that both teams really hate each other and it makes for exciting games.
there are some kinda rivalries
like the boston - toronto series last year
doubt there wasn't at least some dislike there
philly - boston is kinda one
but yeah after cleveland - golden state and golden state - houston ended
there's been no real actual rivalry
I can't even call Boston and Philly a real legitimate rivalry. There hasn't been that Early 2000's Lakers vs Kings type of rivalry that matters to the league in the regular or post season.
yeah
You have the Lakers and Clippers. Okay, they both play in LA that doesn't really count as a real heated rivalry. Okay, Lebron and AD vs Kawhi and PG13. Okay, why they should they hate each other? Why should they have a problem with each other? Kawhi already beat Lebron in a NBA Finals, he has no business hating Lebron. Okay, there's George, but be honest, who gives a crap?
Hard to have a rivalry when the nba was dominated by the warriors and cavs for 5 years
Outside of the rivalry, I’m just the glad that the basketball is fun to watch.
What good does a rivalry do if it’s one sided or both teams suck
It isn't a real rivalry then.
Than the cavs warriors rivalry was really only for two years then
Since the warriors basically dominated that matchup
There was still that thought in your mind that maybe Lebron could beat the Warriors every year though. But those 4 NBA Finals were more of a microcosm of how unhealthy the league was and how the one and done of the NBA draft and the rise of superteams.
NBA has to do something about the superteam problem eventually. Someway, somehow.
Tried to do that with the Supermax
The NBA has no need to stop super teams. Super teams sell jerseys, they sell out buildings home and away, they’re the most marketable games for TV as well
Also helps that they’re in big markets too
The problem comes when owners of other teams have a problem with it. 2011 lockout happened for a reason ya know.
Then you realize the NBA does this lottery shit and star players like Zion are already bitching a storm before the teams could draft better.
Think the Pelicans still underachieved though
Like Golden State for example, 3 of their big 4 at the time were all drafted. GS was in big market area that had small market following. Dug themselves out
yeah true, it’s an issue with NBA players. Teams like NO losing AD and potentially Zion in a 3-4 span isn’t fair to the owners
Can’t believe I’m defending owners lmao
When 98% of the league is fucked from the beginning. It's not a healthy league no matter how jerseys sales and big markets do. The ratings are already a indicator of this
There’s no easy answer. It’s obvious that players want super teams. I’m sure the league loves it too. But you’re right about the owners having issue
You have 30 teams every team should have a fighting chance of winning a championship. Yet more times than not there's only 3-4 teams that actually have a chance of winning each year.
But this is coming from a guy who watches Hockey that's nothing but parity every year and everyone has a shot for the cup.
Knights don’t count?
the odds of a “weaker” team going on a hot playoff run to win it all is higher in hockey than most sports, for sure
Baseball, Football aren't that far either. The NFL has made a name out of itself from teams going worst to first every year.
Compared to the NBA where teams like the T-Wolves and Pistons are just in mediocrity for years and years with no hope in sight.
the nba just has a bunch of mediocre teams
the cavs feel like they are just going to be stuck there
that’s true too. How long have the Kings been irrelevant for lol
about as long as the leafs not being able to win a playoff series
I don’t remember the kings being relevant in 2004 hahah
they made the playoffs last in 2006
still can't believe the incompetent timberwolves broke their streak before the leafs
holy shit ! I would’ve never guessed that
Lot of the shit the Kings did is an example of their own doing. They had Tyreke Evans and Boogie Cousins and couldn't do shit with them.
That kings team was middling and mediocre in a stacked western conference
Also cousins was kind of a locker room cancer back then
Cancer with superstar talent
I mean, Reggie Miller was a cancer for years and still had some success.
I don’t know if I’d consider him a cancer to the team when he stayed there his whole career
Kings wanted to get rid of Cousins in his prime for Hield
and now hield's bloated contract forced them to get rid of bogdanovic
Kings are just a stupidly run organization
Such a damn shame they have my favorite colors and unis in the league IMO.
at this point i'm considering quitting being a leafs fan if the kings end their drought before the leafs
the kings are such a mess of an organization
Should have drafted Luka...
Never would have guessed that.
I like purple.
Do you like the Vikings then lol
purple incarnation of satan
divac was a clown
plus they'd probably fumble their way to losing luka in a few years
Best uni of all sports. Don't @ me
I had an opinion on them for a sec. But it went wide left.
Why do you do this to everyone?
Now watch as the Magic drop again in the lottery
Because sports are the best comedy. Don't worry, you'll do the same to me later. Schadenfreude affects everyone.
Maybe today if they drop again in the lottery
That game was awful in general, 19 total points between both teams
If the Raptors jump to the top pick, I’ll just laugh.
That play doesn't happen if Peterson actually bothered to show up that game.
I was watching that game, since the Cardinals would play the Vikings if they had won. Man, it was tough to watch.
Funny fan reactions to Blair Walsh's missed field goal!

At least you didn’t put the Gary Anderson kick
The defense blew that game not the kicker.
Coufal about to eat Grealish
It would have helped if he did make it though
First time West Ham has had 3 players on the same international pitch since England won the World Cup in 66
That Vikings team on the late 90s had Culpepper, Carter, and prime Moss right?
Yeah
Defense took a dip with an injured John Randle
I think they would’ve been good enough to beat that Broncos team that ultimately won that year
Broncos were really good too though
I don’t know
Our god has arrived.
Wander Franco?
Yep
Number one prospect Wander Franco
6 Ls in a row activated the trap card lol
I mean they were the defending champs so I would hope they were
Rays need to win this series 2-1 or 3-0 for sure
But I still think that Minny team could’ve gone all the way
I don't get it though. The problem with the Rays the last 6 games was pitching, not hitting.
He looks older than he is
Also think they would have won it in 2009 as well. If only Farve didn’t throw those back breaking interceptions, and bounty gate didn’t happen then...
For real
Peterson fumbling hurt too
All the dude had to do was just run forward for like 2 to 3 yards and slide, then let your kicker have a chance
let's get it, sterling goal
Instead he throws cross body into Tracy Porter
good service from grealish there
To be honest, that was more a Favre thing than a Vikings thing.
It was
People thought Famous Jameis felt dangerous with a football. Hoo boy, Favre.
Was more talented than Jameis
This game is huge
Brett was fun to watch though, I’ll give him that
Second place would have to play France
That's debatable. Unlike Jameis, Favre had Reggie White and an actual defense.
france / germany who ever gets 2nd
We're talking about first 5 years BTW
You sure???
Not sure Mala, I don’t think they’d have two group winner directly meet in round 1
I edited my last post
Favre and Winston play in two different eras. If Favre played in today's NFL he would've thrown 30+ picks one year.
OOP I see
Hitters vs Jacob deGrom in 2021:
.113 BA, .148 OBP, 47% K, 4% BB
Pitchers batting in 2021:
.112 BA, .153 OBP, 45% K, 4% BB
229
1991
Gotta say, it feels like that Scotland game was what England needed
jrue holiday on team usa, chris paul not
cause this is already a total different effort
????
Thought Chris Paul was on it
Massive respect for anyone on playoff teams going straight from that to team USA, especially in a season that’s us so many injuries
NBA lottery day 👀
Trying to improve themselves as players, and do future recruitments.
Never mind. Shams was wrong about it and tweeted too early...
To clarify: USAB official says Paul has opted against Team USA this summer. Roster has been fluid at times throughout the week. https://t.co/cQ2hmVP0oO

surprised simmons is doubtful to be playing for australia
he could really use having to be one of the main guys alongside patty mills
yeah that's why i think he could use an experience like that
Is it coming home though?
England starting with Saka over Sancho makes no sense ...
Hamadi it hasn’t been an issue so far. I just wonder if Southgate simply doesn’t trust Sancho or what
And @smoky fable I’m lowkey pulling for them so I hope it does lol
I think France wins this though
Got to make up for 2016
And they’re more talented as well
It’s theirs to lose imo
But letting one the best English player overseas sitting on the bench is not correct.. what is Soutgate thinking
Talking France
no disagreement on Sancho but it’s obvious he’s not doing something to earn trust. Even Bellingham had minutes vs Croatia
Italy a highly favorites to go far
They played splendid in the group stage
and yeah, Italy could make semis actually
Belgium France Italy and England are my picks for the semis
If they dont face each other in the quarter finals
I forgot about Belgium
They have a stacked team with an unstoppable Lukaku at the front
Lmaoo not England
Fuck Belgium
Why hate on Belgium?
Saka masterclass
they’ve been the top ranked team for years with nothing to show for it, plus I dislike practically all their players anyway
I don’t dislike their players
But why they always ranked number one
Dudes literally never done nothing
who's getting the first pick
No one knows yet
Think the pistons get it
hmmm
It's probably gonna be Houston
Watch Charlotte jump in the top 3
Don’t want to see that.
Same
Toronto
Cade doesn't deserve getting sent to that mess
I could see Detroit
Warriors already in a spot if Minn pick falls out of top 3
Hate either scenario
Wolves already got so many top picks
And the warriors are a playoff team already
Kings will win it
fox/haliburton/cade on the same team would be raw
Too bad they’d still be middling
this game was boring as fuck
England Czech?
croatia is 2nd
2 goals with the talent England has is shit.
Yea shit team.
Idk man so much talent and yet they like aren’t that good
So overrated every single year
I’m glad they get to face a team from group F next round
It’s better their hopes are demolished early
Than to let this linger onto some kind of hopeful ITS COMING HOME thing
i want spain to be bottom of the group
They look even worse than England so yea
But let me tell you Busi coming back will make that team better
He’s slow but his passes break lines and defenders
busquets
busi would help a lot lol
He was pretty good for Barca this season despite narratives
cdms are one of the most underrated positions
also gotten better lately with his final balls, still great at passing between the lines
It’s not like Spain have been beaten for speed, it will be slow and methodical but Busi is a very smart player
His passes are inquisitive as opposed to the current Spain players who lack any imagination
Spain will probably win tomorrow
this was his best season in terms of final balls / creativity, he was arguably our best creator after messi this season
this as in 20/21
ronaldo
Yup he was really good. Only times he can be found lacking is when the other team is really pacy
france looks good
And he can’t pressure the other defense who are building quickly and basically make his position useless
yeah, tho busi was never really a quick guy but he used to intercept a lot of balls with his good positioning and awareness but he's getting older yeah
