13 point game
yep but not winning a ring with just him
Booker needs to score more now
Needs to step up and make them pay with those double teams
Payne's missed too many shots
dirk, steph, and others did it. bron cant
did what?
becuz ik you aint saying those players and "others" won a title by themselves
that shit would be so cap
schroders not seeing daylight
Lebron never won a title by himself
no one really does win alone
who has ever won alone?
That's just an incorrect statement.
lmao
didnt klay absolutely destroy the okc game 6 2015 wcf?
isnt he literally called game 6 klay for that reason?
and we gonna ignore draymond was an absolute beast, even on the offensive end those days and had 30+ points in that game 7 against CLE in 2016
yeah he did
11 point game
Man Thompson and Curry really didn't have that good of a game then.
he had love and kyrie
13 point game
keep talking Lebron to the refs
What the hell was Payne doing.
He's been awful this game
how many fts has lebron shot
foul
shooting foul?
12 point game
Wes keeping them in it
dumb turnovers
10 point game
but Chris Paul answers

@honest umbra hold me
LOL
facts
at least u didnt have a super team, juba
dame left with head held high
don't really like the lakers but I hate the people who delegitimize the bubble championship
and this is only gonna fuel them
so I'm annoyed
It makes no sense for them to delegitimize it.
doesnt bother me too much lol, those teams had the same circumstances and didnt win it
yep
101-86
Tucker getting those shots
Lebron back in
another make by tucker
101-88
Tucker again
Crowder 3
Shroeder 3
105-93

Stole it from Lebron
Lebron pissed about the block by Crowder
Lakers needa trade Kuz lol
CROWDER 3
AND THAT DOES IT
111-98
Crowder ejected for the second tech
Lakers bench players on the floor
Booker with a tech too
Shroeder and Lakers pissed at the dunk
for what
a bag of chips
that ship has sailed
Lakers are eliminated
schroeder was p good this game tbf

He still won't get paid
nuggets vs suns
Lebron walks off
Hopefully Luka!
we support luka!
Has to close that series out against the Clippers
that was a hilarious game
Weakest playoffs ever nobody wanna see Utah vs nets or suns vs bucks lol

everyones talking
idk why that wouldnt include nick young
his opinion is just heightened by the fact that he was a nba player and now a meme lol
lol
he's most famous for bricking a 3 he thought that went in and cheating on iggy
think hes talking from a generic nba fan point
Edit Kuzma out of it
I just realized, they benched Drummond for the entirety of the game, and it wasn't due to injury.
Kuzma averaged 6.3 per game on 29% shooting in the series? Yikes.
kuzma ruined everything smh
you won't get anything in return for kuzma
LeBron should have never left Cleveland ever
I really like Exequiel Palacios who’s on the bench
If they could find a way to fit him in then they’ve got a solid midfield
Only issue now for them is to find cbs
LeBron James was asked about the Olympics.
"I'm gearing my attention to the Goon Squad in mid-July," he said.
Can’t see dame anywhere but Portland
Yeah he should have just propped up that trash franchise for his entire career.
how was ad even cleared to play them doctors tripping

lol
Lebron is not winning another ring
lakers gone
Suns road to a Mickey Mouse win over the Lakers ‼️
-Beat an injured Lakers team
-A 36 year old LeBron who’s playing with an ankle sprain
-Anthony Davis injured before the playoffs even started
-Had the Refs on their side the whole series
Not a real win and Suns not a top 1000 NBA team in my book
the copypastes by lakers fans in order to justify losing
Actually looking forward more to the floyd fight this weekend than the ufc card
at least the lakers didn't pay schroeder
sucks that they payed kuzma though could have dumped him after this season
he peaked in his first year
looking back the pelicans should have taken him in for the lakers sake
they would beg the pelicans to in hindsight
respect to the suns
the lakers weren't all there and they went for the throat no messing around
should've kept ingram
always regretted that
he wouldn't be close to as good as he is now on the lakers
he was their best prospect but he really was never going to blossom on a team that wasn't his / he wasn't a huge part of it
at least he'll not shoot 29%
and if you moved him to the jordan clarkson type role he might've done well
🎵 It's...un-fucked!
It's un-fucked!
LeBron's just shit out of luck!
Thanks to Phoenix
And their three shots
The playoffs no longer suck! 🎵

How good is buendia @dim ledge @burnt cedar
Like I've seen stats and championship team of the season stuff and all that youtube shit
But haven't watched him play myself
i could see that
it would have been nice
really only way i could see him being useful on that team
He’s was pretty good in the prem but I prefer odegaard tbh
Also I don’t really see any player looking good under arteta
So I’m not expecting too much from Buendia
Same way with Odegaard we didn’t get to see the best of him
I’d prioritise Aouar and Bissouma before buendia
Hahahaha same man 😩
Yeah need to get bissouma for sure
we need shooters
like wtf is this shit
no one makes shots on that team
I hate watching the games man
its always a brick fest
really can't see the lakers winning unless they build a really good team around bron and give him the kawhi treatment
he just can't be the number 1 anymore and ad has to step up and be that
kawhi will sign with the lakers this offseason

steph can't leave that much money on the table
I'll say this
LFC were in talks but theres a reason he didn't move
Or iirc anyone from Norwich for that matter anyways
Believe we wanted Jamal Lewis
As well
And yeah idk
He's good but you have to realise there's a limit to his capabilities when he's mainly played championship
Sucks about Ødegaard but he's definitely inferior

this rdc world video is going to be a classic
smh
lakers slander is going to be painful for lakers fans for months

Meh, they won the title last year. They can deal with a couple months of ribbing
they can but it'll still be painful
this nba playoffs is shaping up to be an all time one for slander
See this is why I can't be on television because I'm too disrespectful & I can't control what comes out of my mouth 😂😂😂
People just go insane whenever the Lakers don't win a championship. Quick, let me put on my sympathy face again
why was ad cleared lol
he rested for 4 days
that was ridiculous I thought he wouldn't even sniff the court in game 6
Facts
Lol they just give it to him every time cause of clean sheets even though it's clearly evident he hasn't been the best
I'm extra pissed because I almost had them all Yash
Only ones that didn't make it from my list
Cancelo wouldn't even be in my list
He's average defensively
No other RB was really worth a shout this season imo
Not even Trent regardless of how good he was after January
Hmm
had no business being out there
groin injury not something you come back from in days
yeah he missed only one game due to it
no one did
yeah the lakers went out poorly

frauds
Worse than Ben simmons
So unfortunate that the blazers lost
Dame is crazy would’ve love to watch him play more
In the playoffs
I agree with this meme ^
Actually THT and Mclemore can stay too
But bye bye to everyone else
yeah need them gone
He doesn’t work in the playoffs
need to develop three
Lmao never
yeah
anyways xrz they said this the first final since 2010 without Lebron or curry
but they forgot Seth curry gonna be in the final this year
so it’s not the first finals without em
Yup 100%
Lebron and AD will come back
surround lebron with shooters
Ain’t no one wanna be embarrassed like this
and people who can actually play
More than anything
We need an off-season lmao
It’s a blessing if we were gonna lose anyways to lose in 1st round
You get an extra month of rest
yup
yeah losing in the first round is better
since there also aren't any delusions of being good
Yup you get that delusion and you’re bound to keep players who you thought were good enough
Kcp might be worth keeping
Predictions??
france wins euros, Italy might go far, betting on germany to stink it up
will be roosting for spain tho but i really don't think they'll do too good, don't really trust the frontline all that much
lukaku been really good this season Belgium deffo a contender
France
italy, turkey. belgium, denmark. netherlands austria. england croatia. spain sweden. france portugal.
for my predictions

what if im not a hater?
you probably hate at least one team
I didn't even know the Ducks had a 0.8 Power Play Percentage until I watched the video. That is pain!
wow making the leafs pp look competent
Yeah, thank God I didn't watch many Duck games this year.
who do we have winning tonight
mavs or clippers
dallas is at home
though that doesn't matter much tbh
clippers
I'm really hoping the Clippers can win.
Tradition of the road teams winning
I'll take Playoff P and Kawhi bounce back game
mavs probably lose the series if it goes 7
wish they win for the slander
Me too
Both LA teams losing in the first round would just give so much material

@rustic mountain you hear about the baseball player that got signed because he posted on Reddit?
Fuckkkkin what lol
It was a signing by the Cincinatti Reds.
yep

That would be something. Kinda thought of it as a possibility due to his connections to Seattle, but never thought he'd want to move himself though. Garnett would keep it in Minny if he gets involved though.
It'd be ironic to see Seattle getting a nba team back by taking it from another city.
reggie jackson actually being good wow
what a surprise
that's waht the drama was about
oh the game started
He's been better in his role. Used to be a guy who thought he was better than he actually was.
Wow
Surprised he made all 3
yeah same
that's what I like to see
Why is the Braves record 26-28?
Thought they'd be higher
Injuries I think
ah that makes sense
Lots of injuries and underachieving so far.
Rays really down vs the Rangers of all teams
Interesting move by Carlisle playing Boban for 9 straight minutes
5-0. I'm not even watching that game rn. Watching the Sox and Tigers.
That guy probably gets gassed quickly
Watch both at the same time
One of them is gonna end up winning the cup. Just you watch.
Rays have had 1 K so far
After 5 innings
that would be amazing
Serious question, how do you feel about Jason Kidd as the head coach for Portland? @proud coyote
Hearing the same as what @ChrisBHaynes detailed here: There is strong buzz in league coaching circles that Lakers assistant coach Jason Kidd will emerge as a top candidate in Portland if the Blazers, as many expect, respond to their first-round exit by making a coaching change. https://t.co/APAGwjEiyi

it'd be something
it would be rubbing immense salt into my wound though
kidd hasn't done well so far
Nope
Something tells me Juba wouldn't be too enthused about the hire if it goes down.
26-30 Mavs on top
doncic crazy huh?
Yeah he made his free throws.
u think mets can beat the padres?
oh he wouldn't
Doncic is fortunate he didn't get a tech. After making that shot, giving Mavs a 30-26 lead, he looked at the nearest ref and punched the air in frustration that he didn't get an and-one.
That's the kind of gesture that got Porzingis teed-up in the bubble last summer.
He's got to control that.
Clippers won't win if Morris and jackson are your main contributors on offense
all im gonna say is the only sports franchise i wanna see move is literally any of the sad NHL franchises back to fucking Quebec
I want my Nordiques back

i aint knew u was a big quebec guy, balk
oh those kits are nice
Yeah, Seattle is a good sports town
agree, seattle is a good spot
personally...
not a fan of all the expansions to vegas
🤷
thats crazy seattle doesnt have a team in every sport
and 2 years ago
had only what sounders and seahawks?
oh mariners
but thats just misery
The odds of Quebec getting a NHL team rn is slim to none. They closest they got was the Canes relocation rumors a few years and they're staying in Rayleigh.
super sonics are literally one of the coolest teams
mariners always disappoint.

They were. Payton and Kemp seemed like fun players.
You think houston gets a team?
If Arizona relocates.
is kennard playing for the 1st time?
It seems like it
It's gonna be the Yotes that end up going to Houston. They moved them to the Central next season after all.
probably the yotes
So many problems with them.
The problem with the Yotes is when they got to Arizona they ended up taking the stupidity and ineptitude of the Jets had before moving there.
Mavs not having Luka on the floor and keeping a respectable lead.
That's not good for the Clippers.
They're just a mess in general.
That chayka news was something.
yeah the clippers have to win not luka minutes
I only know one or two good seasons the Yotes had.
If Dallas can have pro teams in the 4 major US sports I can’t see why Houston couldn’t as well
Even though that town is beyond cursed recently when it comes to sports luck
In 2012, they got to the Conference finals and lost.
That's their highest point.
The Owner of the Rockets was pushing for a NHL team few years ago. I think he may have the Yotes in this 5 year period.
I hope he doesn't get it. Fertitta does not have a good reputation...
Won with the Astros, and they still have a strong team. But paid the price.
Yeah cause of the Astros cheating now the whole town has bad juju
Oh, I remember that Conference finals game.

Houston only deserves trash cans.
Now watch the Rockets get the 1st pick because the NBA lottery is rigged more times than not.
Rockets Suck, Texans suck.
And the Yanks lost to the Red Sox.
Clippers are looking like underachievers at this point.
AKA, typical Clippers BS.
Luka is a superstar, but the amount of talent that they have should not have this result.
frauds
Tough opponent & all, but this is such Clipper choking bull crap. They might as well be the Raptors of the West. Which is funny since Kawhi there.
reggie jackson has more points than luka
Habs 2-0 series lead.

Portland and coach Terry Stotts agreed to part ways, league sources tell @YahooSports.
He's gone
After a fourth first-round playoff exit in five seasons, the Portland Trail Blazers and coach Terry Stotts mutually agreed to part ways on Friday, sources told ESPN.
Stotts leaves as second winningest coach in franchise history, including eight consecutive playoff appearances – longest streak in league. Stotts is the only head coach Damian Lillard has had in NBA. https://t.co/BC53zPjMvz
Among candidates expected to be considered for the Blazers opening, sources tell ESPN: Clippers assistant Chauncey Billups, Jeff Van Gundy, Nets assistant Mike D’Antoni, and Michigan’s Juwan Howard.
Wonder how Juba feels about it
Mavericks back up by 7
67-60
Source: Damian Lillard to have major input on the next head coach. Stotts was the only coach he’s played for in his nine seasons in the league. After the way the season ended, it was time for a change. https://t.co/opzDtX7LP3

He's not leaving
But Turner and Collins are probably available, so that's something to monitor
Back to a 2 point game
The Rays almost came back.
Both teams trading blows
This has not been a sterling performance so far from Paul George, who has 12 points on 3-11 shooting to go with five assists and four turnovers. Clippers head to the fourth down four and with their season on the line.
Leonard bounced back, but Pandemic P came back too
Clips just keep missing them corner 3
Weird as their supposed to be the best 3 point shooting team or atleast up their
Good run to start off the 4th by the clips \
super close game
Batum is apparently playing center tf
I mean
you dont really need a ton of big people for this mavs team bec porzingis doesn't do shit
just need one big guy
for bobi
Zubac getting killed by Luka
It wasn't because of the Dallas big men
THJ having a nice game
Lmao luke Kennard's whole existence is just to make 3s and he missed both of his wide open ones
Pg picked the right time to pick up the pace
Clippers up 5 now
yikes
what insane defense by clippers
3 awful shots and 2 missed open shots by DAL

its over
omg kawhi
Carrying the clippers smh
Game 7
Porzingis contributed little to the Mavs
And Hardaway Jr is going to get paid
Because LOLMETS.
That is such a huge signing for them
Personally, I find him very meh, but we'll see if that was a WWE problem.
Dude was able to put up some 5 star matches in NXT, plus they're apparently pairing him up with Vickie Guerrero. One of the best heel managers to ever do it
Yeah, the problem with that IMO is everyone can work in the ring these days. Give me something different. Vickie Guerrero being manager already sounds good though.
Good for Snell. But you're really hoping the Mets of all teams to help you. HAHAHAHAH, good luck.
cubs and mets actually
cubs playing giants rn
both losing
ITS OVER
LINDOR GETS A HIT
GETS TO 3RD ON ERROR
LETS GO FRANSISCO LINDOR
no wonder rays never pitched snell in the 7th
Yeah, the Cubs are probably one of worst 32 win teams out there.
idk they're like 9-0 against dodgers, padres and one other good team im forgetting
though they got the dodgers on that really awful streak they were on
Well, it's not like the Dodgers and Padres have been consistent. Also helps when you face the Pirates multiple times.
yes they got dodgers twice on same day
when they were awful
and won by 1-2
dont think theyre that good but still
Cubs hitting is still very meh. Only a matter of time before they fall down to Earth.
Oh yeah, Joc's on the Cubs.
playing well recently too
got a hr today
btw i was gonna say this earlier today but grandal is the best .150 player in history isnt he
dude actually has a 800+ OPS
Joc's really one of the few that's been really good. Everyone else are average or below average rn.
You'd think as a Sox fan I would check on the Cubs more often. Nope. I don't care much for NL teams.
not rlly rivals
angels are not dodgers rivals
barely play them
not even our biggest AL rivals in THAT division
we hate the astros 20x more
have more history against the A's
Yeah, I have no connection with any Cubs fans and besides the GM of the Cubs bitching about the Luxury Tax. Really no hate for the Cubbies. It's all marketing
I hate the Twins more then I do the Cubs.
is snell ok pitching 90 pitches?
Snell pitching over 90. So weird seeing that.
The Avs are just the perfect team this year.
The only reason they didn't get to the cup last year because everyone of value got injured at the worst possible time.
James McCann and Luis Rojas with the old "yeah this game could be over anyway let's get ejected" move https://t.co/qBbCYAvXOZ
-Antonio Conte looks at a 7th placed Juventus.

-At a 4th placed Inter

-At a 7th placed Tottenham

they fired him due to incompetence. it's like hiring scott brooks

IDK how to feel about it. I'd prefer Penny.

Lillard to the Magic confirmed
Lillard doesn't want to be on a worse team
feels like rodgers tbh
where lillard hasn't really said much of value in terms of his destination and teams inquire since it makes sense to do due dilligence
I think Lillard is loyal though. Rodgers is just fed up with the organization not listening to him.
true
despite lillard not saying much doubt he's pleased with how things are going either
We'll see what they do
yeah they have to do something
They have to trade McCollum
And Nurkic is not going to be around either.
To be honest, they might have to start thinking about rebuilding.
yeah it feels like its either overhaul the team and push around lillard or rebuild
Not kidding, they need players like Klay and Draymond to contend.
Players with those skillsets
yeah they do
lillard isn't as good as steph, probably not even close, but a similar system to the warriors around him would be amazing
As the Orlando Magic move into a full rebuilding process, coach Steve Clifford and the franchise have agreed together to a parting, sources tell ESPN.

@dim kettle thoughts ?
I didn't think he'd be let go now. But it really doesn't matter. The team is gonna be rebuilding for a few years.
dynasty soon
I thought the same thing when we drafted Oladipo. The Magic and dynasty don't mix together.
Cade Cunningham, Jaelen Green, or Evan Mobley or bust
The Shaq and Penny stint was fun, and Dwight Howard was a force in that run to the finals.
Never lasts long though.
True
You hoping for a top 3 pick?
Yeah, but I want that first pick.
seems to be a good draft
I don't know. I don't think Cunningham is that definitive number one talent, but who knows
He still goes one though
Who knows? The Magic haven't exactly the best track record of drafting players outside of number 1 overall the last 17 years.
could have had a dynasty or something more long lasting if they did
I would like to have that face of the franchise that could play at least 10-12 years.
That aren't big men, of course.
that's what every team wants
McGrady was good for you guys
amazing talent
And then we blew it with him. Thanks Doc.
Could've had Duncan And McGrady on the same court.
Just couldn't get the lottery odds that year
Spurs got such a gift with Robinson out due to injury
No, we were gonna get him in free agency and Doc didn't want him.
wait what?
Duncan was going to leave in free agency? I never knew that
Yep, the Magic were trying to lure Duncan to Orlando.
From what Doc said, it was a mistake to let the Spurs get a last talk to convince him to come back though. Why would Doc not want him?
Also saw the rumors about that was him not allowing players' families to travel on road trips
Yeah, pretty much confirmed.
Houston had a lot of bad luck with injuries in the mid to late 2000's.
Yao Ming's career ended so soon too.
He had no opportunity to rest from what I remember which made it worse.
He had to commit to the Chinese team as well
just haven't won
Just unlucky afterwards. But they're still fortunate to have two championships in their history
yeah
Kinda hard when San Antonio was on fire in the 2000's
just unfortunate to have the guys they had and no rings to show for it
why i don't really like calling it a true dynasty for like 20 years
The West was stacked back then. LAL, the Suns, Spurs, Mavericks.
The Wolves had an elite talent in Garnett, but blew it in that era due to poor decisions.
Because the T-Wolves were and still are a joke of franchise.
You could contract them and nothing of value is lost.
I'm not surprised that ARod wants to move them to Seattle though.
Honestly, you could've said the same thing about the Cavs before Lebron was drafted there.
It'd suck though
The Cavs had some decent teams though before Lebron
the wolves would be something with their talent but they're called the timberwolves
So did the Wolves.
Of course the Wolves could've had Steph Curry.
I feel like the Wolves had one good year with the talents they had and it just went to hell afterwards
Had two chances
And blew them
they would have wasted him
Who knows? Teams act differently when they have a Superstar.
true
there's the trailblazers though
plus curry had a lot of ankle injuries early on. idk if the wolves would have helped him solve them
they might have given up on him quickly and Curry might not have been able to develop there.
Remember the Warriors were probably worse off than the T-Wolves at that time. Honestly, it's probably goes down to the butterfly effect.
I think Brandon Roy would have made them a much better team and allowed Garnett to stay in Minnesota for longer. But, you have a fair point with the Curry so I don't know. But they also wanted to trade him for Randy Foye...
Also on a side note. The T-Wolves unis rn are probably some of the worst I've seen.
These were bad too.
At least with those, they're simple.
their vice jerseys weren't good this year
I don't like these jersey concepts Nike keeps forcing down my throat. I don't even know whose teams primaries are anymore.
Like apparently the Magic's blue unis are retired. But you couldn't tell me. I don't even know they usually wear anymore. And now they have orange unis.
I don't like the Nike jerseys
These ones?
their black jerseys are cleaner
They are
You ready for the bucks nets game tonight?
Should be a tone setter
yeah it'll be good
As Julio Jones watch continues, Falcons' rookie draft class continues to wait to sign contracts. Some agents of those rookies have been made aware that the team must clear cap space before getting to deals. Team has $446K in space as of today, per ESPN roster management system

Point makes it 1-0 Tampa
tampa strikes first
They really left Point wide open there. Bruh
tampa has been more impressive than carolina in this series so far
The Canes won on Thursday because Mrazek was playing out of his mind.
Point almost had a chance at 2 goals.
What does it take for the refs to call for a penalty shot these days?
You can tell this is gonna be a high scoring game.
Defense stopped giving a fuck.
this is a goalscoring game
Goaltenders are suppose to tend the net.
The fuck was that?

idk
Is Tristan Jarry goaltending for the Canes incognito rn or something

WHAT IS THIS GAME?!
tristan jarry would be proud
Jesus Christ what a game
If they remember how to play defense then maybe
Yeah
if either team can play defense they might win
Kuch is just a 1 man wrecking crew since coming back from injury
Oh wait, ESPN messed up
Still 6-4, was wondering why there had apparently been such a big delay between my TV and ESPN
Damn it ESPN
Bolts win. 3-1.
Lol, that almost went in
Yeah, the empty netter. Always be like that.
But at least they have their feet on Carolina's throats now
That's cool, next W we get with Vasy as our playoff Goalie he'll have the most Ws by a Russian born goalie in postseason history
This series a paralel of round 1 so far
The Marlins just chocked HARD
They were up 5-2 in the bottom of the 8th, Pirates loaded the bases with 2 outs and then
Walk, 5-3
Hit by pitch, 5-4
Field error, 5-6
Against the Pirates. LOL
Wonder what the managers reasoning behind that was.
Oh it wasn't intentional, it was the walk that scored a run lmao
And the Marlins tie it up.
Can't ruin the tank after all.
6-6, bottom of the 9th time
Oof harden
Man is pretty cursed at the playoffs oof
that right hamstring injury is flaring
James Harden is heading to the locker room with an apparent hamstring injury https://t.co/r8hmUGHF05
Durant turned the ball over inbounding.
I've never seen that
He just hit the back of the backboard
If Harden can't play, Bucks in 6
nets team stopped by injuries
man crazy that harden is the one getting injured though
that hamstring has been an issue for them
Always liked Tucker
Glad to see him do well
yikes
dudeeee
nets lost?
this season is ass
did everyone's trainer get brain damage?
are the floors too wet?
are the shoes that bad?
nets are still alive
Nets’ James Harden is OUT for remainder of Game 1 vs. Bucks due to right hamstring injury.
Bad news gets worse
Joe Harris is such an integral part of the Net's offense.
Outside of the stars
Nice effort by Griffin for that hustle play
Budenholzer always has a tendency to play his bench earlier than needed. don't know why
why is he sitting Giannis for 7 minutes?
Nets up 9

Iconic radio commentator Dave Mishkin calls highlights from the Bolts' dramatic 6-4 win over the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 4 of their 2021 Playoffs series. The Lightning comeback from multiple deficits, scoring fou...
I did not expect that intro
Pirates walk it off in the 12th
Boston up 1-0
interesting way to end the half
And the Isles answer back.
Yeah they suck. Having pitchers on the injury list also doesn't help
It's sucks for them, because they try to tank they win too much. When they try to win they suck.
Nets just playing well
Does MLB do a draft lotto like the NBA?
No. But a hell of a lot of rounds though.
All 20 rounds of them.
Gotcha
It used to be 40 rounds till this year.
damn bucks are losing bad
Do you like the nba and nhl lottery system?
I fucking hate the lottery concept. Just screams rigging. Their excuse is that NBA and NHL teams will tank and get great players day one when in reality just because you have the number one pick doesn't mean you're gonna get the guy every time.
It does boost your chances though if you get the number one pick.
Doesn't matter though. The NFL and MLB have proven time and time again that tanking and getting the number one pick doesn't always mean you're set for a dynasty.
That falls more on the organization
It's worse for the NHL too because most NHL prospects take time to get to the pros.
It honestly feels like the lottery is only there for more control by the league. Cleveland getting the 1st pick multiple times 7-8 years ago just flat out rigging. Same as NO with AD.
And that doesn't even get me started with the fact that teams still tank anyways regardless of the lotto, so what's the point of having it if it doesn't fix the problem?
Man Middelton is terrible rn
Generates more interest in the draft process
He gets outplayed by Blake Griffin
Teams are literally always going to tank if a draft system exists.
Again, It feels like the lotto is only there for more control by the league.
They've rigged multiple drafts. It's just stupid and it's never going away.
I don’t buy it being rigged. If it was rigged, those guys sitting in the room during the actual lottery for the nba would catch it.
What good would it do to rig it?
NO getting the first pick, after getting new ownership, right after trading their franchise piece in CP3. Yeah, it sure isn't rigged in anyway possible.
If it was rigged, why would they not try to get the Knicks the number one pick to get Zion? Big market team.
Honestly, I don't think it happens now with Sliver was commissioner. But David Stern multple times over the years have done that crap before.
Or even the Lakers to a slim extent that year
I equate Stern more with the refs being biased towards big market teams than any draft meddling.
Watch for the one card to be thrown into the side of the drum, folding the corner. You can also see Stern giving a big exhale before he draws out the card.
And the knicks still didn’t win
Patrick Ewing was still THE guy for the Knicks for years and years.
It got them money
Isles scored. 2-1
Nets take game 1
Durant and Harden played heavy minutes, but hard to beat them when guys like Mike James and Griffin contribute scoring
Especially with Middleton being poor
It was a beat down
hard to beat the nets when their other guys come to play
middleton has to come ready to relieve pressure from giannis
Bud can't coach to save his life
he can't adjust to save his life
no reason Giannis should play under 40 mins
Bud always plays his bench early for some reason
giannis is such a mismatch
If it goes 6 to 7 games, I’d believe in his strategy. The Bucks also shot poorly from 3 though
nets shot average though
the nets very well could though
yeah it will be
giannis has to play 40 plus minutes
if he can do this in 34 minutes then they can't stop him
Isles with the empty netter. Series is tied.
Islanders are gonna tie up the series
Yeah
Love to see it, hopefully the Lightning can win on Tuesday and NY-BOS goes to 7
Really lucky to always expect a contender with the lightning.
The Lightning for the longest time was the only team that won in Tampa. You know, until Brady arrived last year.
Yup
They’ve always been competitive it seems like
Since Vinik became owner, it seems like that.
Eh, We have 4 titles. But it's not like the Bucs and Rays have been consistent winners.
In its present state
Yeah, for now. I'm always expecting the Bucs to come back down to Earth.
Same
Expect that when Brady falls off and Bruce Arians retires.

Just being realistic
then it's trask szn
Quite frankly, BA and Brady did their job. They won a title and I expect nothing after that.
They don't need to.
It's not gonna be rebuild though. They're gonna be in "competitive mode" like they did last post SB run.
Which means the glories of 7-8 win teams maybe a 10-11 win season 2 times in 5 years spend.
I think they’ll be some really bad seasons thrown in there due to injuries
But who knows
Though tbf our GM nailed the 2018-2020 drafts so it would seem a good foundation has been set for when Trask would presumably take over
You think BA would stay for that?
He’s getting old and had a health issue.
Trask is our new Chris Simms. Just mediocrity awaits.
No but I imagine either Bowles or Leftwich has been set up as the heir apparent
Don’t expect anything
I want Bowles to be HC so bad. But it's really gonna depend on drafting.
Need a good OC with Bowles and Leftwich is still an uncertainty alone.
Same but I'm fine if Leftwich ends up being the guy
Don’t know if Licht will go in the same direction.
You think the Glazers and Licht listen to BA? Serious question.
Of course they do
what if they have an outside candidate that they like through interviews.
As I explain why Leftwich is an overrated HC candidate The Bucs run the ball down the middle with no gain on 1st down.
I doubt that severely, they knew that BA wouldn't be with them for the long term
He was working with Mike McCoy so it made sense
They were terrible there and would always run the ball up the middle on first down.
So it would only make sense to develop an heir apparent while he was here
After that dominance against the Chiefs, Toad Bowles should be the next HC of the Bucs. It's as simple as that.
What if he’s hired by another coach in the next cycle?
I know offensive coaches are more valuable, but there’s a chance...
Then we'll take those 2 free 3rd round comp picks and wish him well
That’d be smart
I would believe that if you know, if Josh McDaniels was hired as a HC already. He's in the same situation Bowles is in rn. He knows he's the successor.
The people speculating that it's Patricia and not McDaniels being set up to succeed BB in NE when he retires got me like
Josh would've taken the job with Indi if he knew he wasn't gonna be the successor in NE.
Also, apparently nobody watches Lions games if they think Patricia is a quality HC.
He’s probably the DC.
