I think the main reason basically everyone in the "top 6" aside from city and arsenal are shit this season is that new coaching has come in/manager swap from a poor manager and nobody been able to really settle on a style yet nor have the players that said style needs. Makes a lot of sense to me that the two clubs with the most tenured managers are fighting for the title and non top six/mid table etc clubs that have had longer tenured managers able to develop a style and shop for players have been fighting in the top 10 or even for a top 6 position

While I do feel this is the case for arne it's only to a certain extent. Rather, I do think it's the full on case, but arne has the least amount of legitimacy to use this as an excuse given that he's been able to shop for players and already had elite, established talent in the team, and already won the league
