If Ozuna hit the same amount of HRs last year while injured he'd have the most on that Pirates team. As much as everyone liked Clutch back the past couple of years it's time. Maybe, if he would do a vet minimum deal they probably could have squeezed him into the budget. But currently we're 2 signed players over the roster limit so there should be another cut or trade on the table

After all the hoopla our opening day roster is around $102 million. Technically the highest ever for us. So but still a far cry from the average $170 million of most teams iirc.
