LETS GOOOOOo
rams semifinall
It's natural to hurt, but keep your head up. You guys had an incredible season and you'll be right back next year
yippieee
we got some work to do to get over the hump
@sonic aurora lol do you even watch these games
You should be proud of this team
I have never been this tense about the end of a game where I really didn't have a vested interest in either team winning.
it wasn’t all on caleb , but the bears didn’t play with caution
Ngl I blame the little girl that made those playoff picks
i do watch
Yeah all of a sudden I locked in
here comes the California bandwagon
Preach
lol but she predicted the patriots and the bears and the patriots won
Here go the “should’ve kicked earlier” people
Not knowing the defense would play like this for 4 quarters…or his qb would throw 3 picks, one not his fault at all
Like come on
Dude you need to take the points
I mean Vinny hindsight is 20/20
It's the playoffs
i watch with my bf lol
Yeah Caleb’s mistakes are glaring but gotta be taking those points lol
This is only the beginning for you guys. A peek ahead for what is going to be a very, very good era.
she got one wrong tho she picked the texans
YOU HAVE HINDSIGHT!!!
It’s just not that easy man
I didn't say should've, but it's something you think about when a team loses these close games
Read above
And I did not say you did
But multiple turnovers always gonna hurt big
I said here people come
i just hope we get the sunday game
It's definitely easier to point at Ben and blame him but tbh Caleb threw 3 picks. That's back breaking
Hit dog hollers
tired of playing on saturday
It doesn't count Cj stroud played in that game
Depressing to see all that momentum just go flat
Lucy they are on the same day
@fleet orbit shoutout man. What a season
Usually are anyway
You’ll be back
then i hope its at night
honestly i just root for whoever my bf roots for
The Zesty Dropback was pyrrhic
Hopefully it snows in Seattle 😭
i hate playing in the morning
You will play on Saturday and you will like it 🫵🏾
I like the earlier game
thank god
So you’re night
I hate being prime time
i love being prime time
Playoff games are all primetime
Lowkey I want Darnold to get his flowers
So it's off to the 49-10 beatdown from the Rams. Sorry, Lucy.
Yeah but night games feels like more people watch
BUT I’d love for a Nick Foles 2.0 with Denver
There def wasn't this many people for pats texans
I just can't see anyway Rams vs Seahawks 3 can be better than Round 2, that was an all timer
That’s man’s being carried - we know if he’s needed, he gone fold
I want jarret stidham vs sam darnold in the super bowl
i can almost Guarantee with a 99.9% chance that Stidham not making the superbowl 😭
Yeah very good chance we see him get pressured like crazy and turn into Sam “They’re In The Trees” Darnold
i don't think people remember how bad Stidham is 😭
That this is an actual, real thing that could happen...
All time defense carry
But imagine how funny it would be...
How was Jarret Stidham even
greatest defense ever if they could pull it off
Pats, you guys have won enough let this one happen for the memes please
Yeah
SB MVP Drake Maye gonna hit like crazy ✍🏾
That’s good
Kindly
Fuck you
Just like let the broncos have this one
i appreciate it
and i hope i am not making rams feel bad , they got us
we just need some work
Please?
No
I’ll say this—there was far more time to adjust the scheme to Foles when Wentz went down compared to when Nix went down. Plus Foles had some experience already
Earn it
I don’t think it’s that, it’s just with that defense and how friendly paytons offense is
It’s definitely an “anything is possible” situation
Broncos and Seahawks SB - But it isn't shit
SHUT UP PUKA
Puka don't be annoying challenge
Harvey gonna get force fed, potentially Dobbins as well if he's up for next week
IMPOSSIBLE
i watched Stidham play the year for the broncos when Russ got benched 😭
He was Turrible, worse than washed Russ 😭
I doubt dobbins is up
What did he say?
@fleet orbit ggs man
Locker room livestream incoming
Different situations man
We absolutely were also done in by the injury to ozzy a week ago, the interior struggled
I legit was nervous that whole game
There's going to be a huge salt mine in the NFL world when he's given the mic at the SB celebration.
Nothing just broke in and started being obnoxious. I’m souring on him quick lol
Why are you playing devils advocate
nothing but love to you and all bears fans

i guess we will see but if i'm a broncos fan, i'm not getting my hopes up 😭
GGs , we were almost ready to get over the hump , yall showed us we got a bit of work to do to get there
fucking Matt Stanford bro
Yeahhhh I liked him but he's ruined his image
Get that 3 headed dragon meme
I just don't get trying to get greedy with a deep cross there. It wasn't the time for a home run shot, man.
If there’s one man who can pull some shit off with a backup qb
You’re likely looking at the best guy for it along with that defense
so fucking OLD
All right that's it
I am convinced
Yall are against me
Cooper Kupp next sunday ✌️
PLEASE, IF THERE ARE FOOTBALL GODS UP THERE
LET BRONCOS SEAHWAKS HAPPEN 🙏🙏🙏
I remember after TCU won an incredible Fiesta Bowl over Michigan, Jim Harbaugh came to the podium and said "The winner today was the game of football". That's how I feel about this game.
Year of the Horse
I have no dog in the fight so long as LA doesn’t win lol
People really thought of the NFC back then as the AFC now
Insane how he just 180’d to being insufferable lol
This but the patriots
Year of the Umamusume
I’d PREFER darnold doesn’t win but I could stomach it
What's wrong with darnold?
I’ve always liked drake maye so I’m cool with it
i prefer to play the game, and see what happens.
I can’t watch that fraud win a bowl
Hey if Darnold wins this is the closest the Jets will get to a SB
He wouldn't have caught that anyways
As a Jets Fan you gotta root for LA from here to have any chance of sleeping at night
︀︀
︀︀-Patriots: Rivals, led by a QB the Jets enabled them to draft with a bad anti-tank win
︀︀
︀︀-Broncos: There because of a QB the Jets passed on
︀︀
︀︀-Seahawks: Led by a QB the Jets gave up on
︀︀
︀︀-Rams
Probably not picked tho
Yeah it was a bad throw but he didn’t even try
Looked like Emanuel Clase out there
he went on a leisurely jog
worst case scenario
Caleb trusted DJ and DJ does that
Or AJ brown
leisurely jog!!!
We’re gonna see him working out in his driveway and I’ll crash out
A shame Loveland got hurt on that final drive
yeah gt
Caleb would've looked for him if he was out there
He got concussed
I want good ball in the afc chip
And a rams demolition in the nfc chip
Poor guy
Yeah Loveland is a bad, bad man.
I want the patriots to get destroyed and the nfc chip can be whatever idc
I’m ready for Matt Stafford to be broken
Please seahawks, save us from puka nakua during super bowl media day
obliterate that old man!!!
Yeah I’ll pull for Darnold
🙄
I didn’t even consider this….
If the Seahawks run the table it's pretty much gonna be like what happened when the Broncos won with Peyton, or when the Ravens won with Flacco
2025 NFL Playoffs:
NFC Championship Game:
- Seattle Seahawks vs. 5. Los Angeles Rams
AFC Championship Game:
- Denver Broncos vs. 2. New England Patriots
Kinda in this mood too
Ok I’ll root for Jared Verse AND Sam Darnold
i’m a game man ship person i hope yall win the super bowl
I was kind of pulling for you tbh after the Caleb TD
It would have been a better narrative
Oh yeah jared verse...
Uhhhhh
The rich get richer
Shame shame shame
But still go hawks
Respectable enemy but an enemy nonetheless
Eagles ain’t win though
So no matter what, we avoided the worst outcome
Muk how are you feeling about Harbaugh
We still have the second worst possible outcome in play still
TO YOU
Very close second
Yeah Imma bounce
Hear that sabble
Have a nice time dude
It’s cool. I don’t have any expectations because I’ve learned not to have any. Only thing I want is watchable football and Dexter Lawrence not lined up at defensive end
See y'all tomorrow for the national championship, I've got to get back to work.
I might be asking too much still
how are we gonna make sure next season we are even scarier
the players need to take the pain from the loss and grow off of it . it’s important
i feel pain thinking about the locker room
Yeah. Like I guess it doesn’t get worse and can only go up right? Even 7-8 wins is a jump
Nonononono, that's too much. How about we settle for a 6-11 record instead
Commies are in the most trouble in the NFCE
We are sweeping the division next year
Aging roster baby
Whoah whoah whoah Muk
nah they have the best quarterback, they will be fine
When are aren’t getting held back by eagles double agents Joe Schoen and Shane Bowen our true power will be unleashed
If we put child safety locks on in the Linc, Dart and Skattebo can’t get in
Damn you found out…
Stidham
i’ll miss this team till next year for sure
I like to think of malik nabers like some exasperated parent with skateboo and dart
you have the imminent MLB lockout to look forward to in the meantime
Depends on if he stays healthy unlike this year. Lowkey I can see them taking Jeremiyah Love. WR core is ok but Terry is not a spring chicken
caleb williams is a jameis winston regen
Didn't they have one a few years ago
We didn’t get absolutely clapped for weeks
i dont think so, just the covid seasons
Very based
lol im probably doing the same thing i did last week, i ain't looking at any news about the roster, the player nothing.
Who ever we line up with Sunday will be ready to rock and roll.
I want it, I NEED it
“Guys. Screens off after 9pm. Especially you, Carter.”
it’s hard for me to say but i’m slightly less invested in the winner
I would like to pick up a wr3, some o line depth, and some secondary help this draft and free agency
fuckin playoff losses sting
Harbaugh likely goes defense
I thought they had one innnnn 2021?
Downs or AR
Yeah giants D has the most holes
was that not just the 60 game season due to covid
If I see banks playing defense again I’ll lose it
No there was a 99 day lockout I think
ah, didnt realize
2021–22 Major League Baseball lockout - Wikipedia https://share.google/DWQob8bskThfiMSMb
The 2021–22 Major League Baseball lockout was the ninth work stoppage in Major League Baseball (MLB) history. It began at 12:01 a.m. EST on December 2, 2021, after MLB owners voted unanimously to enact a lockout upon the expiration of the 2016 collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between the league and the Major League Baseball Players Associ...
Did he have a stroke?
i hope there is again, dodgers are ruining baseball
The CBA expires on December 1st
The cold froze his brain
Draft a cb
So we get the 2026 season and then hopefully fireworks
Baseball needs to finally have a hard salary cap like a fat kid needs a cookie
id be more okay with a salary floor not a cap
They also need to severely limit the ability to defer payments
im just sick of the penny pinching shit when the dodgers are spending like 1B+ a year on a superteam
Guys teams I root for in the playoffs are 2-6 😭
Damn you cj stroud
the rest of the nfc north ain’t got shit to say to us tho , we got a lot out of this year
Please, we will still talk
You guys are the shit talkers now
All 4 teams suck ass I can’t root for any
Seahawks, sam darnold in the super bowl is funny
Darnold winning a chip would make Jets fans suicidal
Oh they’d flip out
My dream of recreating this in the super bowl is over
I think people either focus too much on the cheap or the Dodgers and Mets. They never talk about the teams willing to spend money but can't complete for every player like those teams could.
It's going to come down to two things:
A floor to make owners spend more on rosters and players challengeing how much they're worth.
Good. The only nfl game I've ever gone to was the jets beating the eagles, I hope they never make the playoffs again
Same but I went to the Giants beating them the same year lol
That's the uncomfortable truth about player contracts. Shohei is worth 700 million because a few teams say he was.
To this day the only eagles game I've ever turned off before it ended
That's rough dude
Fuck 2023 lol
I went to the bathroom and came out to see Mariota playing. It was never more over than that
Think Hurts busted his finger
How the fuck do teams afford to pay players that much? Baseball doesn't generate THAT much money...
Oh so like howie
Owners are rich. And the Dodgers deferred a lot of the money near the end of his contract. So in theory, the Dodgers would be paying less compared to what contracts might become.
Bobby Bonilla
But that's really betting on the future right?
Yeah similar, baseball contracts can pay for much longer
The problem is and what's breaking the baseball world is the deferred money, it's a unique advantage for them because most owners would find this financial suicide to defer a lot of money.
Seems like a salary cap is necessary
@dim kettle this is gonna sit with me awhile
next season it’s time to get over the hump
Yeah. And a spending floor to light some sort of fire for the cheap teams
That's how playoff losses are. But next season you guys will come back stronger
This is a young team that will keep improving
I'm not even going to talk about what happens next until we let what happened pass by.
Nfl got it right with how they handle money and salary caps
but we gotta grow from
this this can be built off of
DJ didnt get to his route and got stuck looking the other direction
Alr well I gotta go, it was fun watching football with you guys see you for the natty tomorrow (maybe)
i think we’ll get better too , i really do , but fuckkkkkkkkk
The players are going to fight it, though. Because from their POV, they have the right to fight to keep these big contracts. Of course, the players have to realize too is that the seeds were planted when it took near spring training in 2019 to sign a lot of these contracts. Because it sounds cold and harsh, but a player or their agent can say they're worth this certain amount of money. But if no owner is willing to pay for you, are you really worth that amount right now? It's a messy situation.
Gn🫡
I was saying this before. I just don't like that they got greedy with a deep cross there.
nah too much gambling down field
i don’t even want to be angry at the team i’m just sad
i’m not dissapointed at them. i don’t think they’re failures , they’ve meant a lot to me
we just gotta get after it this offseason
The worst part is that there is absolutely no guarantee of anything next season. Ask the Commies how that worked out. Or the Lions. You only get so many opportunities that can't be wasted.
No , there isn’t a guarantee
if the bears want to get there they gotta take in everything
not just the good but the bad , because i think through these pains they can reach their potential
One thing the Bears would need to work on is finding ways to win games comfortably. The Bears could have easily been a 6-11 team instead of 11-6 with a couple of plays going differently.
yes , the bears aren’t smooth
offense needs a lot of chemistry together cuz if done right this offense could crush people
but there is not that kind of mastery from the young guys yet
DJ absolutely sold us unfortunately
but he also
got us this fee
far
i really thought we had em after the kmet touchdown
Just like the Cubs thought they had in the Marlins in the 8th inning-
Now you get the worst punishment possible. Having to watch Bulls Basketball
cubs i would say but the dodgers are a walk
wall
sports screws us all
You'll have an October to remember!
sometimes some sports fans have a night to be crushed , mine came
Cleveland had LeBron. And thats where it ends.
never cared for basketball even as a cleveland sports fan
this sucks
but hey , i felt something , that’s what sports fans chase is the feeling
I saw 3 Stanley Cups, two WS appearances, one NBA finals appearance, and a SB ring.
i don’t think people realize how big the cardinals jump was
i went ape shit in my living room when they ended the cardinals
I loved the part where the Cubs took winning a WS part and made it feel less because they blew their multiple title window.
Remember losing to the random ass Rockies just because.
sometimes in baseball your peaks are very short and the cubs had multiple of such players
it is what it is . the world series is eternal
i think breaking the 100 year curse is good enough
The Cubs wanted to tie the Sox in WS wins since the 1900s and were like, "Yep. That's enough."
i still want cubs sox world series someday
if yall beat us it’s a risk i’m willing to take
it would be cinema
gonna be waitin a while the sox are in purgatory
it’s a lot of heartbreak here
Bears fan experiencing 1/100000 of the pain that jets fans go through every year
When you are numb from so much pain you stop feeling it
I don’t think bears fans can pull that card after alllll the shit they’ve talked to Green Bay this week
I can no longer complain about any of our draws
These mfs got Rma and Barcelona
Even before semis
Dude
McDermott fired
Thank god the Bills beat the Jags
They could’ve stole Harbaugh
Also Cope's Curse bit the Texans so it was an eventful Divisional round
@dim kettle we were right
oh wow
bills starting over
it’s levels right ?
they are sad because they don’t see them compete
we competed and lost , most everyone goes home unhappy
this morning sucks but i’ll get past it
i don’t think this he’s what they are looking for
https://x.com/tbtimes_rays/status/2013247637848277206?s=46
@rustic ore @dim kettle
@simple seal
Is everyone in the Tampa Bay region (except you 3) this stupid?
Official ballot btw
About 4 years too late
Fair
i think they’re going offense or they are going with something crazy here

Was too much to hope for that it was a clean sweep but McD was by far the bigger issue
This is why fans should be the ones to vote on HOF and not writers
what’s the point of keeping beane?
especially given who josh allen has to throw to
yea doesn’t change much
as long as the roster is what it is
who are they going for? tomlin?
two of the better coaches off the market already
i don’t think tomlin will coach next year
GGs , but you know how it goes , this one stings
White boy conference championship weekend is back though fellas
best team in the division, playoff win, major strides but that could’ve been another one , we just came up short
yea and there’s never a guarantee
look at the commies this season
but still the vibes in Chicago will be remembered
100000% with sports man. It doesn’t matter how positive things look when your season comes to an end
Nope , no guarantees , lots of work needs to be done to get further next year
You can be the most hopeful mfer on the planet and it means NOTHING
I guess they wanted some public form of stability when they open their new stadium in the fall, maybe McD had more control than we thought?
Yea and who would have thought Stidham and Nix would be two of them at the start of the year
it was a lot of success only 1 fanbase goes home with 0
heartbreak
Maye and stafford is kinda understandable
No kidding
i haven’t completely written off the broncos i’ve seen crazier
The thing is foles was way more competent man
it’s obviously not the same as nick foles because the eagles had a lot more time to get foles ready
i high key want the rams to win it all because if we lose to the team that wins it all that’s not half bad
Also the roster was significantly better all around, defense probably wasn’t as good but the O was
Easier to drop a back up into it
broncos to have a shot tho cannot play defense like they did against buffalo
I’ll take it but Seahawks gonna whoop us if Mcvay don’t start cooking again
denver’s defense besides the turnovers got a lot of chunk yards taken out
The conservative time management yesterday was not it
i’m ngl shula came ready yesterday i gotta give him credit
the number 1 reason the rams won was shula
it wasn’t the game script i expected the defenses led the day
we shouldn’t of been running up the middle so many times on 3rd and 4th
yea I think they could have exposed our secondary even more
just think the weather throwing conditions scared them off of it
so it benefited us
it was such a good game
I’m just a bit disappointed our pass rush barely seemed to get to Caleb much at all last night
And then the play we pressure him the most he throws the craziest pass of all time lol
Kmet is good at getting off blocks because he’s a behemoth of a man
I genuinely don’t understand why McVay wasted so many first and second downs by trying to force the deep ball. Kyren was giving us like 5 yards a carry on the ground
that fucking last interception is killing me , DJ was going the other way
So many 3rd and longs and for what
Gonna be an awkward film room session methinks
Ben got greedy , he’s not completely excused
they gotta take this on the chin if the franchise wants to be a perennial contender which it appears is their goal
Good Morning
good morning
@amber grove
the sting of a loss does hurt the first few days
https://x.com/rapsheet/status/2013266802143351178?s=46&t=p7cGuHvykKWdHLCLT_54_A @versed forge I'm a bit confused, I thought Nagy was their OC?
Source: The #Chiefs are requesting permission to interview Eric Bienemy for OC.
But they keep the gm that constructed this roster that’s made to make Allen Superman lol
Unless his contract is considered expired or he wasn't actually their OC I mean
Sooooooooo at least his son didn’t cost him an extension
Indeed
lol
it’s one the franchise must feel , let it bleed
it’s how we grow
Strong reaction in Philly over Mets swooping in to sign Bichette, as Phillies thought they had a deal. From The Phillies Show podcast, Jim Salisbury: "It feels like the Lufthansa heist at JFK from Goodfellas.'' And Todd Zolecki: "The word livid was used in the front office."
Terry Pegula announces not only is Sean McDermott out as head coach, but Brandon Beane has been promoted to President of Football Operations/General Manager and will oversee the coaching staff — a new vertical reporting structure.
Did he really not have roster control all this time?
LMAO
Why in the world are they promoting him
He’s been missing on draft picks all these years and gets a promotion
lmfao?
I guess there's familiarity but like
Good news
@amber grove this funny af
Well that's mildly disturbing
@amber grove https://x.com/braves/status/2013281489463480327?s=46
The #Braves today signed INF Jorge Mateo to a one-year contract for the 2026 season.
Probably to replace Kim
Due to the falling accident he had in Korea
Now it's time to hire Mike McCarthy.
https://x.com/NFLonCBS/status/2013292947685433665 @rustic mountain @haughty moss
Actually funny to think about
Doesn't beat the elite numbers of Zac Taylor in the AFC North.
The Elder Statesman
I just missed the Sean McDermott news
They made the biggest mistake of their lives promoting Beane to Team President
Terry Pegula mismanaging this like he did with the Sabres. @robust grotto
This is the dumbest decision I’ve ever seen
You should have fired both
Sucks to suck
Yeah. Very much a BEARS FOOTBALL!! move
Going to waste Josh Allen’s career but you relish that
i’m still grieving
I am not gonna feel a shred of sympathy for any afc team tho
Buffalo at the top of the list
Let them trip over themselves
Really have to wonder if John Harbaugh and/or Kevin Stefanski wish they would have waited a bit longer for the Bills job to open.
hindsight is 20/20
Not even close! But couldn’t happen to a better guy lol
Be very thankful they don't run the Bills like the Sabres.
Least you know it's not AI
Get away from that pen.
i didn’t smoke , i went to the gym , i lifted , i played with my cats
this still
hurts
my job has off today
"No Bears Victory Monday and no work make Lebowski something something."
that something is gonna have to be make music
so , are you feeling good about tonight or nervous ?
It is what it is.
that’s sports for ya , at the end of the day this miami team is remembered forever
So McD is Aokiji level?
and i ain’t writing their obituary , a game is to be played
Think about it like this………… Ya got Ya Head Coach of the Future and Ya QB of the Future. Caleb is still young so the Turnovers should subside. And unlike Tua he isn’t constantly Damaging his Mental Health
i agree ! and ya know there’s time to take that next step, not a given but the opportunity is there
It’s not exclusive to me , every single sports fan in this chat faces a day where ya know they feel pain, something hurts
Talking to NFL executives around the league about Buffalo’s next head coach options, the name that keeps coming up is a familiar one, a Buffalo native and someone Josh Allen loves: Brian Daboll.
I truly hope this isn’t a One And Done I like this new bears story

i hope it ends up
on a similar story to the cubs , who cooked the cardinals (epic ) and it wasn’t quite their time but next yeAr they got over the hump
Endrick looks amazing in ligue 1 I knew my boy was not washed
Trust me……… I know…………..
Being a big fan of the Biggest Market team and the same pain and HUMILIATION was an experience……..
@dim kettle DO NOT SEND THE GIF I WILL REQUEST A BAN…..
so the jets analogy i saw earlier is stupif and here’s why :
the jets are sad because they can’t figure out winning , the bears lost a playoff heartbreaker
sometimes you shoot and you air ball , which that one was
Josh Allen cost the Bills game. But godamnit, I'm not going to sit here like a dumbass on Twitter and say Sean McD didn't deserve his firing when his defense was prolapsing on the field in big moments.
I was able to read the latest chapter of OP with how much space I had near the middle.
150 years (including pre modern era)
sheeeeeeeeeeeeesh
the cubs are in a good spot the bad news is they exist in the timeline of this dodgers team
Cubs celebrate 150 years with a good roster that could make a run. The White Sox celebrated 100 years last season - 60 wins were an improvement. 😐
i still say it tho cubs sox world series would be the dream
Maybe that will happen before another Yanks WS.
Actually 100 years was the 2020 team………..
They had 100 year patches for last season. so
i think the yankees are like most teams atm, very good , playoff caliber , don’t have what the dodgers do
That makes 0 sense
Unless you mean 110 years if we include the pre modern era Sioux City Cornhuskers
Let me see.
Yeah. My bad. 125 years.
it would take something magical to stop the dodgers but at the end of the day it’s happened before
You mean coaching?
i meant roster the dodgers are a juggernaut
Injuries
I know that’s mean to say, but like that usually what stops them
Dude. the Yanks have more problems than the roster. Game 5 of the 2024 WS in the 5th inning. That's all you need to know about the Yanks
The inning from hell
As a Yankee fan, I truly don’t think they are
i mean the yankees almost never sit the postseason out
"Baseball is one of the only sports with no time limit; meaning that the potential for suffering is theoretically...infinite"
2023 and 2016 they did
Just because you can make it doesn't mean you're capable. The Yanks for most of the 2010s was just the 2010s Red Wings with no Salary Cap limits.
Call it what it was my shortstop won't be back till after the all star break because of falling on some ice 😭
Happy he's staying
Need our Dline coach to stay as well
Yes
Bruh lol imma trying to be nice lol
In a way, it sums up the Braves last year perfectly. Had everything and then fell on some ice.
I’m okay with the firing
I’m just really not sure how a gm keeps his job considering how many missed picks and how little buffalo has outside Allen and Cook
Because Pegulas.
Like what the hell is that rosters construction
Damn Charbs is out. @slow violet
Knee injury was serious
Significant knee injury….
The funny part is if this was the Sabres, Pegula would've fired everyone.
Truth
Zach Charbonnet has a significant knee injury and is going to need surgery, Mike Macdonald says on @SeattleSports. He’s out for the playoffs
@proud coyote @dim ledge @honest umbra @hollow wind
Ya all gotta admit that this is TRUUUUUUE
It's one of those things where the SF Giants fans would be triggered and then slowly go, "Oh. Ohhhhhhh"
Trade details:
To #sjsharks:
F Kiefer Sherwood
To #Canucks:
2026 SJS 2nd Round Pick
2027 SJS 2nd Round Pick
D Cole Clayton
#TheFutureIsTeal
who ever is playing sunday, drew lock, jake bobo
its who we rolling with
We signed a Greek @dim ledge
Christos Mandas
Might get in the starting lineup considering how shambles Petrovic is
Hmm
Well, that didn't take long.
my condolences
God. Carolina has a 2 on 1 chance, hits the post, gets taken the other way, and the Sabres score. Hockey, folks.
Thoughts on rumours of bread to sj
You can always trade him to the Lightning for some magic beans.
I don’t think there’s anything SJ will give up that is like WOAH. All their big prospects are on the roster and I just can’t see them parting away with them
At least not for 2-3 months of Panarin. They’d have to be confident in signing him in order for a big piece to come to us so … I’m not fully in love with the idea
God forbid a team like the Avs get him.
I'll miss him no matter where he goes
Unfortunately it is time to break it down but
Hell of a guy
A great scorer that will forever haunt my dreams from an empty netter in game 4 of the 2019 playoffs... sigh....
Easily top 15 franchise player
Actually it’s sad how many top franchise players we’ve had without nothing to show for it. Oh well that’s sports
Always the standard with the blue and red.
Thank you sir
Extremely random, but assuming everything is true … West Ham will become the first club in the Premier League to sign a player directly from the Venezuelan league
Lions are idiots
Why would they do this
Fire Dan Campbell into the sun
What an absolute idiot
One of the worst OCs ever granted MHJ and co suck but his play calls were garbage
He was not ready to be an OC
To call plays
And he’s under the Stefanski and Shanahan tree
There were multiple play callers that could do this
Although Drew Petzing and Dan Campbell have not coached together previously, there is a connection of sorts: Petzing is extremely close to Ben Johnson. They coached together at Boston College and Petzing served as one of Johnson's groomsmen.
i thought they wanted mcdaniel
@weak gull
Hope it works out for y'all homie
https://x.com/JeremyWGR/status/2013279153794039994 @slow violet
Well… The little birdie that told me this morning that Mcdermott was gonna be gone (that I did not believe at the time) included in that message that Klint Kubiak would be top of list.
Local Bills reporter apparently
I’m really hoping the cards lack of talent was more so the problem
As a Michael Wilson fantasy owner, I know they were slinging it but this feels underwhelming
I was expecting Mitchell to make the east starting 5 in the all star game but he didn't wow

︀︀When #Bills GM Brandon Beane blamed the new young GMs for all the trades at the deadline because they played Madden and fantasy football.
︀︀
︀︀Why he did not make any trades: “99% players are available for a price. But it's not fantasy football”

LOL
Bills might be fucked
On a more sour note
@dim ledge
Could explain some things
😭😭
He scored very low on a football IQ test before the draft iirc
But that's never been proven to be a sure fire way to determine if someone is gonna be a successful pro
Ryan Fitzpatrick iirc had the highest score on that test ever and he was just a journeyman back up his entire career
So I fear I might have been right, CJ might have just been a 1 year wonder
DCs get paid to figure out tendencies and he seems pretty figured out atm
This is what I was talking about with him. He hasn't changed. That's the big problem. He has Rick Mirer written all over him.
AKA: "Congrats, Texans! (2026)"
In the style of "Goodnight, Moon", help put the Houston Texans 2025 season to sleep. It's in the form of their offense. Who knew what we all believed would be their downfall was their downfall? Shocking, I tell you! Now they not only wasted one of the best defenses in recent memory, they have serious questions to...
.

Film of the last INT gonna be seared into my head til the grave man oh man that is horrible by Moore
@fleet orbit
I think you’re trading him
Too many moments like this in Chicago
And it’s a damn shame cause he made great and pivotal catches for you
He had Kmet wide open in the flat, should've taken it
It was a great INT. But even when watching it I was thinking why the hell did DJ stop there.
Cobie Durant is thanking the lord the Rams won that, or else he'd be mocked for ditching Kmet in the endzone because he thought the ball would dip.
Not seeing a single tear from me, hope Bills fans get nothing good
That last interception is on DJ but Ben got too aggressive last night
As For DJ , I am not opposed to trading him on the condition that it leads to the bears fortifying the defense. Yes the defense held up for most of the night until the end of the game but this team needs it to get more talent if they wanna go from winning nailbiters to blowing people out
It's never guaranteed. Hope springs eternal though
its not and i hope these players and the staff dont ignore the pain they may feel, its important to learn from it
Im not angry , im not embarrased, just sad
While this sucks now, the off-season will come and every move a team makes will be spun with the most potential it could have by fans
And you never know it could work out
The important thing is feeling like you have a good foundation and seeing how it builds
Great teams win most one-score games. But the Bears were winning games off bad snaps, blocked FGs, teams letting the foot off the gas. Just chaotic ways of winning.
Shadow isn't entirely wrong. Not to say that the Bears can't build off of it, but when you win that way, it can easily backfire
the bears were a good team good enough to win alot of those but the flaws this group still has did eventually finish their foundational and successful season
How many games did the Bears win by multiple scores
week 3 by 17 against the cowgirls, week 7 against the saints, the eagles game and the browns game
When you can say you could have easily been 6-11 if a few things went differently, you still have a lot of work to do. Have hope about the future, but also know they're not there yet.
Eagles was the best performance of the season
They are not there yet but it is somewhat encouraging that their last double digit loss was way back in october
4 games
What the bears need is Safety, Edge, DT and now suddenly left tackle due to frankly a very sad injury
The Bears might improve; they may also regress a little. It just happens.
And there were a lot of real close ones
thats why the loss hurts
Ultimately this bears team probably did max out their potential this year
like we didnt Underachieve by any stretch
No Id argue you over achieved
But I dont know how I feel about DJ Moore
Burden wr1 time
Enigmatic to say the least
Because lets not even sugarcoat it this year caleb actually did bail this team out quite a bit
I think the Bears are in a much better place, though, for the future. Some teams get too high on hope after one deep run that the reality crushes them hard the next year. Unless injuries happen, the Bears might just miss the playoffs at worst.
Caleb was a bit of a Josh Allen for you guys
Unfortunately in both positive and negative respects
He was super man but also he made costly costly errors that couldn't be over come sometimes
My QB comparsion for him was Russell Wilson. Prime Russ would make some of the best throws you'd see and also throw some of the worst ones you'd see.
that interception is gonna take me some time to get over
who does Purdy keep getting compared to Brees? what do they share?
Wilson was never the offense tho
The Bears at the very least are fundamentally watchable and they dont ooze stupidity
Tbh I have no idea
I don't see Brees
But my lord what a gut punch of a playoff loss , but we all have them
I guess the accuracy part.
Ben Johnson unfortauntely was not perfect himself, too many runs right up the middle that shula was prepared to stuff
Drew was extremely accurate
the one criticism i will not agree with is that he shouldve went for 2 at the end of regulation
i disagree with that
Btw the big names left are Framber, Gallen, and Bellenger.
Most successful short qb in the nfl
Russell Wilson second but he tanked his legacy a bit
He was
why cant brock be brock
I know that Geno is still available but I don’t see him as a big time free agent
But he was an MVP dude
But when his physical traits started to decline, he couldn’t get away with it anymore
MAYYYYBE Giolito could be on the list since he had a good season.
That's what happens with qbs who rely a lot on mobility
You gotta have some balance imo
Calebs feet need more consistent alignment on his throws but I believe we are gonna be back in the playoffs more with him, im not discouraged or anything
It’s a lazy comparison just due to their arm strength imo
Closest comp to me is romo
Gallen a big name. That’s a stretch being 100% honest. Reason why teams aren’t touching him.
Romo isn't a bad comp
Just, ya know, sports comes out and gives all of us a ball buster
Luis Arraez is also a Free Agent so I guess there is that
All it’s done is make me hate it
i can unquestionably name moments in sports that hurt me more than last night
Look lol, Dylan Cease got a crazy contract purely based on potential
The worst sports moment for me was derrick rose tearing his acl
i sobbed in my room with the door locked
Gallen might be cooked
Gallen might do something similar
I hate Tim Thibodeaux
He overplayed everyone
Cease wasn't purely potential
I blame him
His advanced metrics were really good
and it cost him a job in new york last season
That’s EXACTLY what I mean
lol
I still miss you, Cease.
Adjust your salary cap which you can do and go after a pass rusher
Then Id argue that you're misrepresenting Cease
i cannot ever hate Thibs , all respect but like Lovie Smith, for me there are reasons his run could not continue that we can all see
Desperately need one
Ryan Poles i think is playing the cap space game with the cap supposed to explode soon
I miss my Cease & Destroy
Gallen bounced back mid to late season but I don’t buy that’s his turn around
Waittttt
I wouldn’t pay him anywhere close to the money he wants along with his agent
now i dont know if i enjoyed the bears beating the packers in the playoffs or the cubs ending the cardinals in the playoffs more
both classics
I hope he’s aggressive. Don’t make the same mistake Beane is doing now
Bears went from one GM with Ryan as his first name to another GM with Ryan as his first name?
i mean poles this past offseason was very aggressive
Keep going
we replaced all but 1 o lineman
Don’t stay complacent
SP’s are really valuable
Ya never know
absolutely, this was a great start but no sitting on this
Ehhhhhh
Teams have gotten burned
From that mindset
And you know more than me
All I know is the White Sox spent more money than the NY Yankees.
On all the high profile busts
Dayo was a major miss but I can say Poles resume as a GM might not be as peaks and valleys as i thought
Hell I’ve seen those busts
#JaredKelenic
MadBum, Erod, Burnes (because of Elbow in the first year could bounce back though)
@slow violet is right tho, DT before Edge , billings was a liability this year
@smoky fable
Legit G/D was probably like, You got Randy Johnson and Curt Schilling at their Peaks with a World Series to boot.
You can’t ever have a top FA pitcher to be a successful signing. lol
They sold their soul for that 01 WS.
Yep lol , and I do like that unlikes pace , poles has not sold the farm
From Pretty Boy Pace to King Poles.
i want poles to aim high, if he can make it happen , i would like to see the bears be good enough to compete for a super bowl
im asking a lot but this bears season simply raised what i think could be achieved through making the right choices
What's your cap situation look like? Similar to ours?
3 first round picks for Trubisky…….
so our cap is maybe right around middle of the league but the bears have one of the lowest dead caps in the league with a lot of contracts that can be restructured
We have to pay Gonzo and Maye soon tho, we probably won't go nuts
Edmunds is probably getting cut
Reminder that the HC didn't even know the Bears were picking him until it was announced.
I see I see
I actually saw a legit bears fan Draft reaction video on YouTube from at the time and even he thought that was stupid for Trubisky lol
Was that Lovie Smith?
I am sure Lebowski wouldn't like to relive drafting Mitch
It was john fox, who famously coached the panthers to a super bowl appearance and i think was fired in denver the season before that defense got the broncos a lombardi
Im cool with it but thank you for being considerate lol
what i dont want to live through is the bears being forced to completely blow everything up , i lived through it twice already
Luckily this draft has players with that profile
Blowing everything up is kinda refreshing if you've been through the ringer tho
So you have options
Sucks if you hire a dude you know won't be good tho
As much shit as Kraft gets for that massage parlor thing, he’s been a decent owner.
nagy being a coaching candidate is an atrocity, i mean the one year he worked out for the bears he was hidden by the best defense in the league
3 draft picks, not 3 1st round picks
Kraft cares about the Pats
And he wants us to succeed
And his son seems to be the same
Oh
He pulled the plug on Mayo and Belichek and it’s paying off
Still bad
i shouldnt speak ill of the dead but things are better with virginia gone
Owners really shape the franchise
That’s pretty grim that you have to hope for a terrible owner to die though. But that’s the only realistic way since these owners won’t sell
Teams like the Browns and Jets are kinda boned for that reason
Even Stephen will probably not be as meddling as Jerry is now
and theres something important to note, bill wasnt necessarily washed when he was let go the patriots got stale and lifeless, needed a kickstart
For the cowboys
League seems to think that though with Belichek not getting hired now
Idk he felt washed to me
But who knows
^^^^
i wouldnt say i hope she died but it at least seems like george realizes hes a fan who owns the team and he shouldnt make football decisions , virginia never did
Woody Johnson and his idiot son
bill was a psuedo gm and it didnt help his reputation
It’s the unspoken truth. For any change to happen, you have to wait for them to pass and pray that their progeny suck less
i still think what did in bill is hiring patricia
His defense was okay
ill always feel that way
And hope that they just don’t continue the same cycle
But he sticks to people he knows
And he let's people like Patricia call offenses
The modern game passed him by
His talent evaluation is also abysmal
wtf wemby looks like a damn ninja turtle 😭
He said Drake wasn't worth the pick but he may have been bitter
In fact I know he was
did bill state what he wouldve done than
Since he banned our scouts from UNC
you cant say a player is not worth it and not offer an alternative
hes a young quarterback its fine to be critical but you have to be realistic
On the 2024 Pat McAfee Draft Spectacular, Bill Belichick reacts to the New England Patriots taking North Carolina Tar Heels QB Drake Maye with the 3rd overall pick.

He was beyond critical
drake had a turnover issue , sure , but what he needs to be given credit for is it didnt stall his production
he made important plays and threw touchdowns
Basically imo I think he thought Drake would be a bust
We played arguably the top defense in the league and he put 21 points on them on offense
He’s just petty as hell
and as the pats and bears have proven, maybe drake couldve been but a infastructure to help him succeed was built instead
that throw to Boutte was insane
Man Will Campbell has struggled man
what im saying is when the bad happens the good doesnt stop
Against elite competition
Yeah he's a rookie
And he’s got Bonito and Cooper
drake overcame issues, thats admirable
will campbell also played a nasty defense
Like
and he will have to do so again in denver
On that first strip sack that the pats recovered, Henderson needs to do a better chip to help Campbell out
That’s why Stevenson gets a lot of the snaps
The second strip sack that they lost, Campbell just got beat one on one
And they are talented as hell
But I am hoping that Josh will learn from this
We played a dangerous defense, arguably the best one
And still put up the most points on them anyone had in a while
Shula got us good, he was the best coach on the field last night
Your defense is absolutely great though. @rustic mountain
Credit to your interim guy
I agree and I am glad people are seeing it
What i am curious about is what paytons playbook will look like, as much as denver might want to , they cant lick their wounds , they gotta proceed forward
But we still wont be talked about
And that's fine
I hope they keep the same mentality they had against the Texans, they wanted to prove they were the best defense on the field. Is it true? Probably not
But the mentality helps
LMAOO
Romo was good enough to win it imo, cowboys just never put it together…specifically on defense
Romo was a good qb in his prime
Don't let his broadcasting influence you
Dude was a great qb that led some POWERFUL offenses
I hate the cowboys too
if romo threw a goal line fade just count 6 on the board
But the dude gets disrespected too much imo
I still remember when I first started to watch him, people kept saying that he choked
He was a great undrafted qb. That’s hard to find
i dont blame romo or dak for majority of the games they lost
Cowboys were pretty fortunate to go from Romo to Dak
If Jerry wasnt running their team
QB isnt the issue in dallas, the issue is almost always defense and to be honest they love their hot head wideouts
They would probably do more
dez bryant was a hothead
They have to wait for him to die to find more success
As dark as that sounds
Did Kelce retire?
I think the Chiefs need to hit on quite a bit on their retooling to get their machine up and running.
I haven't heard an announcement about him yet
I refuse to believe that's a real photo
Yeah I knew it was photoshopped
His skinny ass ain't got guns like that
Let's make a deal
You beat the Seahawks, I beat the Broncos, you give me the SB for the WS
We both get a title
And everyone hates us
Noodles
I still would bet on Seattle lol. They still have Kenneth Walker
https://x.com/JeffDarlington/status/2013357899955810761 @weak gull I'm sure it was always a stretch he'd land there, still though
Of coordinator jobs that Mike McDaniel has interviewed for, the Lions gig was the least likely to materialize. Campbell liked McDaniel a lot, but Lions didn’t view it as quite the right fit for them.
As for other OC vacancies? Mike is very much in play. Ball is in his court.
I said let's make a DEAL Evan
Oh true mb

Literally opened my discord to this 😂 you guys are distracting me lol
Yeah probably not
So McDaniel aint the right fit but Pentizig or whatever is
Dan come on man
Who?
Former Cardinals OC
Which that should probably be enough to get you to back away
Guy who ruined Maserati Marv the past 2 years
Lions just hired him as their new OC
😬
I don't think it's a very cash money move
Giving him play calling over that stacked unit is like handing someone who hasn't driven before the keys to a Corvette
And just expecting things will be alright
Sean McDermott is available 🥲
The Bills are rumored to be interested in NYG legend Brian Daboll
Genuinely hope he goes to a good team. He's actually a good coach. Joe Brady and Brandon Beane should've been fired today imo
I guess Allen likes Daboll a lot
Can only fumble the bag with a future HOF QB so many times before the owners wisen up
Hey now
The owner is also a dumbass though
He wasn't the only one fumbling
josh allen has an unacceptably weak wideout room for a team trying to compete for a bowl
Stfu
that’s on beane
Beane cant draft correctly. And they want him to pick a coach now? Insane.
I still find it funny in retrospect, the 1st round pick they traded to Minny in exchange for Diggs was used to draft JJettas
Can you imagine those 2 together rn?
My whole world is upside down with football rn
Oh my god rayy
That’s the most venom I’ve seen from you
so everyone says this wAs allen’s best chance to win a bowl and i don’t quite understand that
While I feel for you as a person and fan Ray
First thing I see is you calling someone a dumbass
Im not mean, I'm honest 😇
Amazing how somehow both Buffalo and Denver ended losing that game
Fair enough
Lose lose
h8 you fml
Worst case for Rayy
Nothing personal ray I promise
LIKE WHY ME!?!?!
You just happen to support my literal least fave teams not named the Jets Browns or Colts
At least Frank Crum got a big boy td 🥲 Go Pokes 🤎💛
I cannot be okay with the broncos earning such an epic win and than bo getting hurt
that’s just bullshit
the broncos earned a great playoff win
The good thing is, its not like Bo is an unbelievably talented qb.. its just Denver be squeaking by
Fun note for you, NE has won their last 3 trips to Denver
So potentially they could keep squeaking by
We need to win one more
We do better in Denver when it isn't Tommy under center
That dude could not handle mile high
Some good news
You need a running game
Harvey isn’t the most efficient runner at his size
Thank God 🙏🏽🥹
"Who did you say you worked for previously?"
What is happening lol
