I don't feel bad about the Vikngs, though. They dramatize how much they're cursed as an organization but never acknowledge that they keep hooking onto QBs like Kirk Cousins.
vikings are my favorite team in the north to watch the bears play
always competitive , often horrible to watch
They have some of the best colors and jerseys in the league. It's just a shame they can't ever get an elite QB in the building since the 70s
I don't even remember the last time the Vikings have ever gotten a top 2 pick. Like the 60s?
vikings bad seasons are usually like 6 or 7 wins
The worst I've seen is like 3-13.
https://x.com/jeffzrebiec/status/2011165137085088113 @rustic lichen
Bisciotti on his long-term plans for ownership: "I'm not passing it down to the family. I made that decision 25 years ago. I don't think that's healthy for my family."
"I want to win a couple of SBs and get the hell out."
Interesting
vikings now hold longest playoff win drought in the north
The Vikings are cursed to develop elite WRs and RBs. And then answer with QBs like Christian Ponder, Bridgewater and Tarvaris Jackson (RIP)
JJM must stay healthy this offseason
I just don't know if JJM is the long term answer? At best, congrats? You got another Kirk Cousins?
i hope poles was serious about never giving the north back 🤣🤣🤣
it all comes down to mechanics
I'm just tired of all the "good" Vikings QBs. Only a few times you can say the Vikings had great QBs.
A reminder that Case Keenum was able to make a NFC title game with the Vikings. He was the meme QB.
Culpepper for like 1 season
Randall Cunningham in 98, Culpepper somewhat in 2000, Brett Favre in 09.
that vikings saints game was a ballbuster for the saints
You show them that game to someone if you think they don't hate the Saints enough,
the vikings can’t string together good qb seasons
Not good. Great QB seasons.
that’s still a damn good roster too
Every time the Vikings go for a QB high in the draft, they go with the most boring options. I remember I sighed when they drafted Bridgewater.
who kept getting hurt sadly
He got hurt and did nothing but checkdowns
he also was apart of the broncos qb wilderness
Let him rest
didn’t vance go one and done in denver
Didn’t mean to ping reply you. Meant Evan
My bad
Guys like Klint Kubiak, Saleh, or Mike Lafleur in the division. If they want to bet on coaches that are young, probably Grant Udinski or Nate Sheelhase. Worse case is Vance Joseph which has a good chance of happening.
Yes he did
Ah, that'd probably make more sense if I saw it. But gotta give kudos to the Texans, they didn't give up after all the early turnovers. Can't say the same for the Steelers when it reversed
Which is why it’s funny that he went back to Denver as his FC.
i wonder what prompted mike to step down himself
Jags should have won
Choked. SMH
i think bills beat the broncos too
Bills Broncos is a weird one for me. I think both of those teams are fake but for different reasons
I’m not betting on Bo Nix in the playoffs tho so lol
in all fairness tho i think the broncos are gonna have a great future either way that team is about to pay off the russ debt
I’m telling you man, no matter what Sean Payton says, my best friend Bo Nix is not the guy
He’s just not a very technical or dare I say “intelligent” QB
He can make some plays but I do not trust him to lead an offense
Broncos defense against Josh Allen that needs to go superhuman
Should be something
Their defense is elite but it’s never safe to count out Josh Allen going god mode
the broncos love winning in the stupidest way possible
bears broncos would b hilarious
Also Denver’s run game is not elite enough to fully exploit Buffalo’s abysmal rush defense imo. Whereas Jacksonville’s was. They just choked away the dub
i think broncos offense will sell this weekend i got buffalo
Their offense is just not very good lol
I’m telling you
Similar to the Texans, actually hard carried by defense
Pats are coming out of the AFC tho for sure based on what I’ve seen. Easily the most complete team left remaining in that conference. Holes in teams get exploited in the playoffs. The less holes you have, the higher your chance of success
i think texans might lose to the patriots but i think texans should be favored tbh
Unless you’re the Ray Lewis ravens
It is but their offense is not polished enough. Patriots aren’t only going to put up 6 points against them I can assure you
I’m a winner!
Grats
If Stroud was just average
pats offense needs a better outing this weekend tho for sure
They’d be Super Bowl bound
I’m glad Jack Sawyer had a big strip sack play tho
i don’t know what happened to stroud lol
He hasn’t developed
The line sucks for sure but I saw him miss some easy wide open bombs and make horrible decisions all season. It’s not just the line that can be blamed
Stroud hasn’t regressed as a QB, he’s remained the same and that’s the problem
Bulletin board material for the niners
i’m still sad our rookie LT got a injury a lot of guys don’t come back from, that really sucks
CJ wasn’t making good reads at all last night
remaining the same in the NFL is basically equal to regression given teams get more tape on you
Season after season
If you’re easy to figure out and you don’t overcome and adapt, you’re cooked
Wow. Must be nice to have some of the most innovative offensive and defensive minds in the same division
If Flores was in this division, they’d say this division would have the best coaches
teams adapted to daniels and hence why kliff is gone
McVay definitely adapts
Cardinals need to start pulling their weight so the rest of us can complain more and more about how stacked the division is!!
Going from 3 wideouts to going to 13 personnel focusing on the tight ends
the vikings defense is a nuisance
Believe me I’d love that. But this owner is trash
And they don’t have a qb
Higbee and Parkinson played well. They’ve somewhat gotten back into my good books. I do wish our TEs were more consistent and reliable tho given we’re using them more
his first words : we will throw the ball in middle of field
I hope they stick with sam, hopefully he'll prove his worth as an interim
Ferguson. I still have faith
Just rookie bumps
seattle might win but -7 spread seems a little harsh toward the niners
Tight end isn’t the easiest position
The injuries
the niners injuries somehow didn’t stop them from winning a playoff game
How about next season Jake Ferguson and Terrance Ferguson switch teams without telling anyone
that’s wild
That’d be nice
Are you really that down on him or fantasy football influenced?
From the receiving stats
HOW DID I MISS THIS
How did you miss this
I did say back in 2023 that he was the most NFL-ready QB in his class. Had that great rookie year. Rick Mirer also had a great rookie year, even better than Drew Bledsoe. The problem is, once teams have tape on you, you have to develop as a QB or else you're fucked. Mirer's biggest weakness was throwing to his left. Defenses made him throw to his left.
Was big news and discussed
He’s got room for improvement. Think I was more mad at Parkinson throughout the season
The amount of drops that guy had was
Oh I see.
Disgusting
DOLPHINS
GET READY TO LEARN THE STANDARD
The Patriots signed veteran WR Trent Sherfield Sr. to the practice squad.
@rustic mountain
Bills only have three receivers and Trent had experience there
Something tells me it was related
Tomlin to miami is very possible
Goes to the Bucs
Las vegas is warm 😏😏😏😏
does this mean rodgers retires on a pick six ?
HA
steelers are the ultimate job on the market
if you're a coach you want to go to Pittsburgh, you basically are begging to go
Look. A leak of the NFL script.
you get to be a coach for 10+ years there and all you have to do is win 10 games
yup , because as far as overall consistency , you could argue all time steelers are the best nfl franchise
It's going to be rough for anyone going to Pittsburgh. A rebuild has to happen
It's like what's happening in NO rn.
Shough tho
I don't trust a guy who hasn't played a full season and is injury prone
And BTW was the backup for Justin Herbert at Oregon!
i disapprove
They're getting Bill O'Brien and like it.
it would be hilarious if stefanski goes to the steelers
Of all the times to fire HCs, why now instead of last year when it was interesting?
i think Stefanski actually fits well at pittsburgh
they are basically the browns without cap problems
might as well goo all in
steelers it appears have decent cap numbers
Good. Who's throwing the football next year?
Stefanski i believe could of been a good coach but that Watson contract Ruined his entire tenure
it basically sunk the team
but hey its a gamble and it didn't pay off
it was a stupid gamble from the jump
Stefanski would call games where you thought he was tanking. Let's not kid ourselves.
desperate teams make desperate gambles
besides the obvious , you never give a qb fully guaranteed money
the talent on offense was terrible
Like legit horrible
the browns with baker won a damn playoff game
once they lost nick chub they can't do anything
they smoked the steelers in the playoffs mind you
Stefanski is only a reminder that coach of the year trophies are worthless.
Yeah. The same guy who trusted him more than his 1st overall pick QB in a big spot against the Chiefs in the playoffs.
I feel like there's a ceiling with him.
This is the problem with a lot of the coaching options rn. None of them feel like they would make a team a SB winner.
the team that needed to fire their coach the most in the north is the only one who didn’t
if you need a head coach you need multiple seasons to be a super bowl winner unless you are banking on being the eli giants
If this was a young coach.
But a lot of the options feel like retreads or guys passed being SB coaches.
only team i was worrying about taking ben was the cowboys
i figured the patriots had their own intentions
i heard raiders and i’m like that’s cute
With the Pats too. IDK what the ceiling is for Mike Vrabel as an HC.
i don’t really know because that roster isn’t close to finished yet
He's made it close before and other times be a really good regular season guy.
yeah but drake maye is much better than ryan tannehill
I think Maye could be the difference maker. But we'll be having the discussion later if Maye is carrying him or not.
so that first playoff game drake had was like caleb’s
first half : not good
second half : oven grease
I have to imagine how the game would've played out if the Chargers didn't run a chicken shit offense and Herbert didn't turn into a pumpkin when it mattered most.
@rustic mountain pats should go for a contested catch menace and oh boy would that offense take off
Greg Roman earned his firing , he sucked in baltimore too
Sorry. I wouldn't count on them getting so much better without him. Jim Harbaugh's offense is always run first, minimize mistakes at QB and win on defense.
Again. Just feels like the Chargers hired Jim Harbaugh just because they wanted the popular hire instead of considering that he's like the worst guy to be around Herbert.
the chargers don’t usually win games unless things go well from the jump
harbaugh was a great fit for kaep and that niners team but yeah next year chargers need to produce in the playoffs
broncos i think are about to build a nasty team
Alex Smith just told me the Rams might hang 50 on the Bears in Chicago this weekend.
FIFTY.
There's also the fact that the Chargers really don't have much talent on offense as it is. But IDK how you develop great weapons for Herbert to throw to if your gameplan is to keep the ball safe as much as possible.
than we’ll score 51
in the 4th what’s the issue
chargers have a bunch of wr2 but no 1 , same issue as the packers
The Chargers are just nothing.
the reality is herbert is very good just not elite
I would like another guard/center and then a great size wide out
I think Herbert has the tools to be elite. But being elite and clutch are two different things.
yall got the money to go get it
I am just waiting for the Texans game to show our weaknessss fully
Once they beat us then we will know what to do
that’s how i sorta feel about the rams game tbh but fuck it we ball
We got no shot against that D
So I am just waiting to see what shines and what doesn't
i will say tho it’s the playoffs , so who knows man
Nah I don't see it. Not for us
We will do better than Pitt I think
But we probably lose by 10
well yeah your qb isn’t a grandpa
i feel like we can score on the rams but idk how this defense is gonna stop them without divine intervention
Our line isn't gonna be up to it though. Just want Drake to be healthy after so he can have a full off-season
I still think it's going to come down to NE vs the Bills.
Unless Stroud becomes a god again, I feel like NE would edge them out.
it’s gonna be 10 degree and -6 windchill in chicago, so is this divine intervention??
the patriots defense is really good tho
The Steelers score last night is really an illusion. The Steelers really lost control of that game when the offense was being desperate for anything.
the patriots need to dial up pressure on the o line
if cj has a clean pocket i worry for the patriots
I'd trust the Pats playcalling more than Arthur Smith and old man Rodgers.
The only thing that I am holding on to with Houston is I've looked at their schedule and thh
Tbh
There was nothing wrong with the way Rodgers played and it was awesome
There wasn't a game that stood out as like beyond dominate
They almost lost to the Raiders
But even then, I am not convinced
still tho we all know the king of unimpressive close wins in the afc is the broncos
I think that's the thing. Denver and Houston are kinda mirror images of each other
There's one team that get's the number 1 seed that isn't taken seriously. The 2008 Titans come to mind.
And in a way, so is buffalo and NE
broncos are building a monster of a team i just don’t think it’s their time yet
It's a Sean Payton-led team. So a lot of teams that will look like champs and then blow it when it matters awaits.
the bears had a much better matchup but the eagles sold so hard so now we gotta deal
with puka
payton never had a defense this good in new orleans tho
Maybe he will get a suspension by saying heinous shit with asmondgold
You never know
Pope , you up ?
He'd die the moment he walked into his house.
the rams are a better team than the bears but fuck it , season was a huge success no matter what , and who knows ? what if the bears win
i think i just realize there’s nothing to ruin this season , and it doesn’t hurt to get crazy lol
It was a good year
I think you can have both at the same time. That's what having house money does.
i don’t think bears are actually gonna win deep down
But one NE needs to build on
The nice thing is Vrabes has instilled resiliency and competency into this team
Something that Mayo and Bill forgot
either way a division title and a playoff win is a huge success
Agreed
Now I need Buffalo to fall off next year so NE can retain its rightful throne
Unbelievable greed
These catchers are at the top of their position 🔥
More details + grades: https://t.co/9Ojf0rmD1S
OMG the Rays have a top 10 catcher prospect!
You mean the Padres found their next catcher
As if you wouldn't want to win your division year after year
I think those teams have exchanged like 30 catchers
i wish the bears got the nfc north rodgers had but alas No
The Rays have never had a top 10 catcher in forever.
Always the meme with the Rays
division titles should never be taken for granted i mean your fans get to foster a playoff environment that’s sick
Chet are you a mouse or a mouse, let's see today
the drake maye patriots have 1 team to worry about (for now) instead of tom who got 0 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's my thing. I said it back then. I rather lose to the Saints twice if it meant winning a SB. If I was a Bears fan I would not give a shit about NFC North titles and beating GB.
GB should not be the SB.
The SB is the SB.
i mean long term i agree but at the same time it’s something , instead of being bottom 10, it’s a playoff win, 2 wins over a division rival in one season and at least making the divisional
it’s nice the bears aren’t at a astronomical qb deficit
next year will be big for the bears , gotta make sure the bears get themselves back to the playoffs
Winning titles is easier to do when you win division titles. I don't really care if we lose to Buffalo if it means we win the division title to better position for a sb
You don’t get to dictate the environment if you don’t win the division
like yes stafford adams and puka are scary but they have to come to blistering cold and loud fans who are used to it , that’s something indeed
I mean good if you can win the division. It's the best way to make the playoffs. But considering how generous the playoffs are now with seeding, it becomes less of a problem. You want to be the best you have to beat the best.
absolutely ! but getting to shit talk your division rivals is fun too
Not saying you can't. But priorities.
A lot of Bears fans think beating the Packers is the SB.
The same mistake White Sox fans have with beating the Cubs
what i personally say about it is that mentally i say it’s not about the beating the packers part it’s about the winning a playoff game part
i waited 15 years for that
it meant a lot
For what it's worth, I don't want the division to only lord it over buffalo Miami and NY
Wild card teams have harder roads
I want my team to have advantages that winning your division offers
As much as people like to say best team wins, that's not always the case. Teams are compromised of human beings, they play better when things are right for them too. Not having to travel, getting to be in front of your fans, weather you are used to
Being a wild card means it is that much harder
rams and bills might have super bowl chops but they also might need to win 3 road games to get there
Crowd noise
soldier field is gonna be fucking LOUD
You know what, the best teams overcome adversity.
especially in a year where there is no CLEAR favorite
Home field advantage doesn't really have the edge it used to have beyond the fans. It's not like the 70s when the Steelers would intentionally freeze the field so the Raiders had a harder time playing.
there’s a lot of talk about the la team coming into chicago and it’s super cold , and i’m just thinking that ya know what i suppose time will tell us if that matters
4 very passionate fanbases get to host
There's never an edge. Being very cold only means both teams have a harder time, no matter what.
i mean i know this but i see this and im like i guess the league thinks the bears are a bunch of eskimos
That's the thing, right? These coaches aren't throwing these guys into simulations to get used to cold weather or snow.
and i wish i could say yeah stafford can’t play in it and play along but he has for a long time and the rams went to philly in the divisional last year
Very pick yourself up by your bootstraps mentality
i’m astounded by some of the games the bears somehow won this season
its just the 4th quarter thing
my heart felt that shit
one of the last 8 teams left !
coaching , honestly great offensive talent just very inexperienced
Ben deserves respect but why don’t people give it to caleb williams , no chance bears are here without him
he’s helped motivate a dead fandom
the roster isn’t elite it’s year 1
TRUE
even their losses for the most part they are usually competitive
That and MLF showing why he's the offensive Todd Bowles.
see what happens
bears seahawks would be fun
BUT ALSO
either way bears play seattle next year !
if the bears pull some 4th quarter shit out of their ass im going to move to the bottom of the ocean
(if they play the seahawks)
hey tho that defense fought hard as fuck
I think both can be true at once.
bears gotta beat a team anyone can say is much better and much more experienced first
It's still crazy how much MLF didn't adjust at all during that second half.
i think the fanbase has all officially agreed on caleb , and the dude fucking deserves it
absolutely
hes worked hard
MLF admitted after the game that the gameplan didn't change after the first half.
and hes got a talented roster its just many are inexperienced
i mean , he threw 2 bad picks early but he had almost 200 yards and 2 TDs in the 4th it was crazy
bruh
he’s got a lot to learn about being a qb but god damn has he improved a lot
Love tried his best. Almost made a great throw in the endzone late. It wasn't helping the playcalling or the kicking.
if you think about all the other bears qbs recently....caleb is really fighting for his position
i hate the packers so much lol
caleb just had the best bears qb season in franchise history
The Bears are getting all the praise and attention they deserve. I just find the other side more interesting to talk about, because if this wasn't GB, everyone would be wanting change right away.
this team acts like they are not too young and dumb to know how to win and than they win games !
true
i’m really proud of this team
its like we expect the bears to be bad
just because they weren't as good in the past
and that they have to be bad
BUT THEY DONT
bc thats how the nfl works
packers are playing in a division that’s gotten super competitive
vikings though....
virginia passing away i think sorta kinda turned george into a baller who stiff arms packers fans and idk how we got there
nah the vikings are annoying as fuck in divisional games
After the last few days. I just feel like MLF get's the Mike Tomlin treatment from people and IDK why.
last year when sam darnold sold in the playoffs
that was bad 💀
like the recent mike tomlin treatment?
oh yeah the rams kicked his ass
Where people overrate them for being so much better than they really are because of the team they're coaching for.
Tomlin is a black defensive Mike McCarthy and MLF is a white offensive Todd Bowles.
i think the idea is packers must always be contenders and have great QBs cuz that’s what they do
and ya know what ? packers are almost always competitive
the worst packers crash out was someone saying Love gotta go and i’m sitting here thinking didn’t love throw 4 touchdowns?
Bowles defense shits the bed time and time again, Bowles needs to get fired. MLF's offense underachieves and vanishes. Oh, it's those pesky injuries and players.
yeah but hafley cannot get a pass
You know what, that doesn't help too. MLF keeps hiring shit DCs.
i mean he let the other qb almost throw 400 yards on 50 percent completion 🤣🤣🤣🤣 god i love this bears season
caleb’s red zone play has improved a lot since that lousy ravens debacle
The same MLF that had Joe Barry as DC not long ago so Baker can have the game of his fucking life against in GB.
the packers defense will never be elite with that secondary
i mean keishan nixon??? dogshit
They've spent so many premium draft picks on that side of the ball too that lead to nothing.
The Packers are a second rate team. Its just who they are.
i think matthew golden probably is a good wideout that they aren’t using enough for arbitrary reasons like “development path “
and yet ben johnson has multiple rookies not only being key contributors but being big reasons the team is winning
colston had almost 140 yards
do you guys find it weird that John and Tomlin didn't have a press conference
like a farewell press conference
😭 idk maybe it was just me
John no since he got fired, Tomlin yes
Still think it was mad disrespectful to fire John over the phone
thats fucked
absolutely, he coached a super bowl winner
the last 2 very long tenured coachs to get let go
- Andy Reid (they had a whole video of him with lurie thanking the staff)
- Pete (whole press conference whole city was watching)
lol i kind of wanted to see the presser i mean 18 years bruh
we all knew it was coming
lol at least the Intern gave John a good 5 min Edit
I guess it's better than Jerry Jones buying the Cowboys and telling the Cowboys only HC to get out.
Ravens owner says John Harbaugh still would have been fired if they made the playoffs (via @BaltimoreRavens)
#nfl #ravens #football
LOL I mean WTF is this
what a dickhead
Even the media heads were speechless at this.
After 14yrs. as Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach, Andy Reid leaves his team with words of encouragement. Very gracious & classy!
its like night and day different
"Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay might hang 50 on the Bears..."
– Alex Smith on Bears-Rams 👀
@heykayadams
ok cool bet we’ll hang 51 in the 4th
"Once a Packer, always a Packer... If [Packers fans] get something from it, I love that as well." 🧀
– Davante Adams on playing the Bears in the Divisional Round
@tae15adams | @heykayadams
he said its a dream scenario
Davante, you might beat the bears, but that is not even slightly damage control for the packers
i mean hey all respect to the rams, well see them at soldier soon
I appreciate the honesty
The fact nobody laughed at that is the biggest tragedy smh
Just dead silence
I saw admy reply so wanted to see
Jesus H
Didnt know the Ravens owner was a fuck
But makes sense
How is he a fuck?
Guy had his mind made up and won't lie John was getting fired no matter what
It's not about him letting go of John
yeah but let him go in good faith , he still was the coach during a stretch where the ravens most of the time the playoffs were the usual
It's that the dude coached that franchise for 18 years, got let go over a phone call for one
Two, that press conference where he is being a dickhead
I didn’t even know who the ravens owner was until this week lol
Now he seems like a Disney villain
He does look like one 😂
I dont care if he fired John, he just didn't give him a shred of respect
Like he's gonna turn the local pet adoption center into a landfill
And that makes him a fuck
I mean I guess it can come off that way
Steve hasn’t ever really been the nicest of guys
I mean if you disagree by all means
You been wasting my franchise QB for years and had me pay Greg Roman he's lucky he got a call at all imo
I just don't really like the vibes the dude brings
He doesn't look like a nice guy I'll say that
I hope John the most success in the world just to spite Steve
I agree with Evan he looks like a Disney villain
If he didn’t even get a call, how else would he be fired lol? Fax machine?
Just leave his stuff from his office outside
Tape a note to his door
Change the locks on the doors
Lmfaooo
"Get out"
Like that one episode of hard knocks when that dude found he got cut because the doors wouldn't open for him
Yep
Yhat
That
Classic
I don't think Adams was cut
He got traded out of New York to Seattle for a haul if I remember correctly
maybe he went up to the facilities and his key card didn’t open anything
That clip is really funny icl
It's a very Jets thing to do
I thought LeBron wasn't doing back to backs
LeCap strikes again
He has it out for us and I don't know why
You dominated us you're entire career and Teague isn't even in the league anymore
so zach taylor is the last man standing
and i would argue he was the WORST of the 4 coaches
Fuck everyone for saying Chet needs to hit the weightroom
There's a certain alien in San Antonio who could use it a bit more
I don't think anyone would have argued back
so then in what universe is he the last man standing 🤣🤣🤣
I'm as confused as you are 😭
Oh was he actually cut? I thought it ended up just being an error
I guess I was wrong
Drizzy cleared it up
I don't actually watch hard knocks so
Neither do I, the clip just went really viral lmao
Yep exactly
Would be funny if that's actually how someone found out
I don't consume much sports media that is external to the game itself
And I hope one day the Jets do it
I watch sports shows if a good topic pops up on my YouTube page
I have a few channels I tune into occasionally
Probably got some leeway given Burrow was out most the season
A lot of it is just ragebait unfortunately
But idk how people watch like first take if that's still a thing
i mean that’s somewhat fair but i saw the bengals fail at things on defense that don’t always require more talent
missed tackles , blown coverages , lack of discipline
Bengals just aren’t a very good team outside of the star players
nah they have diamonds surrounded by garbage
those are massive diamonds
Hitting on Burrow and Chase near singlehandedly gave them a ring
especially against a rams roster and team that was frankly better the bengals nearly had em
SHAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
They’ve failed to improve their oline for the last 5 years lol. Idk why but they just suck
And same with defense
Sometimes it just comes down to hitting on the right players yea
I think if Burrow got that ring, some stuff woulda played out different
so maybe it’s a scouting problem
I think FAs woulda taken less money to come play
if joe burrow gets that ring things might be playing out a lot different for the rams too
Rams woulda been seen as a failure
It would have been a failure
honestly as impressive as that super bowl was i’m more impressed that the rams only bad season since was most everyone getting hurt
Once Stafford is gone
they’ve stayed competitive
I think the Rams will fall
rams are gonna probably have to assess the future of the position at least reasonably soon
Without Stafford, they don't compete against SF or Seattle
i’m
not assuming stafford wins super bowl necessarily means retirement
i expect stafford back at least next year
Assuming we draft a QB in the next couple years, I’m sure there will be growing pains. But like… we’ve got so much young talent it’s crazy. People were saying the rams are gonna fall as soon as Aaron retired and then boom. We hit on Verse, Byron Young, and a bunch of other great defensive guys
And it’s like Aaron never left
If we draft a bust QB then yea
Ggs
yeah the rams kinda kept their window open because they nailed the draft
look at the bears , suddenly have a qb that’s not trash and the bears are competitive
Maye took a massive leap
Cooper Kupp falls off. No problem, just draft Puka in the 5th round lol
Stafford is so spoiled man
😭
and than sign davante adams
But he has the Brady factor
Yea
He makes people better
i will say the criticism of stafford hitting goal line TDs i don’t quite understand
that just means he’s a good red zone qb
Stafford is like anti Sam Darnold
He doesn't need the team to make him better he stirs the drink
stafford is a gamer
That's my main fear for Seattle
Their D may be great
JSN is a cheat code
But Darnold is not to be trusted in high leverage games
their defense does give darnold a margin for error that maybe only stroud has
Darnold probably isn’t the guy to take them to the promised land yea. But you never know. Darnold has some absolutely horrid games, but he’s definitely a solid QB. He’s not the most talented but I think he’s mostly pretty competent (this is a shot at Bo Nix who I don’t think is this at all)
i don’t think broncos offense can stall out if they want to send allen to cancun
Bo Nix should terrify his own team
Good thing that Seattle doesn’t have a top 10 qb
Bo exhiliarates and terrifies his own team
Or even close to one
If Seattle had a top 10 dude
why does bo get more shit for it than caleb ? because bo is more likely to throw a backbreaking pick
The one saving grace in this brutal division
Idk anyone who stops them
Maye is legit tho yea. I wasn’t sold last season but watching him this year, he knows what he’s doing. And Vrabel has clearly given him that confidence that allows these young QBs to take that next step
Same with Caleb and Ben Johnson
He was good last season
He just played for Mayo
I had him in fantasy
probably because they assumed pats bad = drake bad
Playing for Jerod Mayo will do that
Mayo was really a bum
Well not sold as in, I didn’t really think anything of him. Not that he was bad. Just seemed like a decent rookie QB as far as rookie QBs go. But this year he’s proved he’s legit
at least the patriots didn’t fall for the “oh we must give him year 2”
Which he promptly backed out of
And yea, coach diff for sure lol
But that’s part of it
You need good coaches in the NFL
Having McDaniels who seemingly only works in NE helped
caleb had a coach who didn’t know how to call timeout
Eberflus is such a joke lol
patriots are just kinda that way, they have a deep coaching lineage and tend to play with it
The pats and bears have had nearly identical seasons the past two years
Rookie qb with flashes, playing for a shit coach, get a new guy, massive leap
maybe at a lower level of job there’s not that many nfl coaches
and some playoff wins , booyah!
Yeah I meant as a coordinator. He’s never gonna be a HC again that’s for sure
Basically identical years
3 years ago the bears were the worst team in the league
Same
patriots bears are similar in a lot of ways
You even had your own Raiders moment last year
although i would say the patriots defense is better , bears offense as a whole better imo
Washington's hail mary
tbh commanders fans got real cocky after that , they deserve this season
Jets will always be the worst team in the league, even if they have a better record than another team. They’re still worse
I mean
Coz they’re the jets
i am so glad the commanders are not on the schedule next year those games ruin seAosns 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Now you're speaking my language
It’s just true
raiders tho
i am so relieved next year the bears don’t have to go to metlife and the jets come out here , metlife is haunted
Raiders have at least had some halfway decent teams sprinkled throughout recent memory. Like, some of those Derek Carr teams weren’t bad at all. Jets just always suck
Always. And when you think they might not suck, they end up sucking
those derek carr teams never had a good defense sadly
Yea
besides khalil mack for a little bit
Feel like Mack was never as good after he left you guys
But I may be misremembering some of his raider years
Pace sold the farm for mack who at first was great until the aging team made mack deal with constant double teams
I think the jets stick out a lot more because when they lose it’s usually by 4 touchdowns
https://x.com/lifestylebrazyy/status/2010914715837276252 https://x.com/MIK3MCDANIEL/status/2010914963737755870
😭
CJ ain't deserve that
somewhat racist
Honestly tho if CJ can play at least decent the texans can win the super bowl
if rookie CJ was playing for this texans team they’d be the favorite to win the afc
when was the last time a QB with dreads was good
didn't Lamar have dreads one season or am i tripping, i know most of the time JD has braids
Tua had braids once
Cam had dreads but Dreaded cam was washed 😭
my whole issue is why is CJ the one saying you mad to steelers fans
like dude , you played like garbage man
lamar had plats but honestly like
ider
nothing even close
teddy bridgewater? lol
Whywhywhywhywhywhywhywhywhy
Didn't RG3 have dreads at some point
Hurts had dreads in college
Don't think he ever had it any longer than this when he played
Honestly wasn't a bad look on him
I think he either started getting fades when he went to Oklahoma or his last year at Bama
Can't remember
https://streamable.com/jxa2po shai aura went up
Selfishly I hope Shai is a 1 jersey kinda guy
Feel like guys like Steph are an anomaly nowadays
Cam Newton had dreads briefly iirc
Ah you said that
At the end of his career he did
Now him specifically I think it's not the best look
was RG3 good? or just fine
college RG3 was very entertaining
1 year wonder
super entertaining
He was never the same after his knee got destroyed in the playoffs
RG3 was the only reason I watched Baylor football for a brief period of time
Though how much of that was on him and how much was on the coaching staff I don't think we'll ever know
But his rookie year legit made him seem like a superstar
one of my buddies that’s new to football asked me the question today “just how good was Tim Tebow?”
I didn’t know how to answer lmao
09 was the big year for him and the gators right?
One of the more memorable championship teams at least for me
09 he still got them to the SEC title game
Didn’t he have a little playoff run in the NFL?
As a backup that got a chance?

this is how i remember tebow
Tebow mania in 2011. Broncos were 0-4, Orton got benched, then Tebow got them to 7-4 the rest of the way and then proceeded to teabag over an extremely injured Steelers team in the wild card to the tune of 316
Which was capped off by the 80 game winning TD pass to Demaryius Thomas (RIP) on the first play of OT
Then he got traded the Jets in that offseason cause they were able to get Peyton Manning
ohhhhhhh I remember tebowmania and the trend of people doing the Tebow pose in increasingly precarious locations
This is what he did in college
for some reason that video of the dude Tebowing on the train tracks is permanently emblazened into my memory
i keep finding all these silly but hilarious nfc west posts
but like 80% of them are just shitting on the poor cards
and i'd feel bad
And no, Buc Tebow didn't play for the Gators recently.
half of them dont even use the right logo
When was the last time the Cardinals made a Super Bowl? It was the one versus the Steelers right?
Mhm
Last time they made the NFC title game was when Cam and the Panthers steam rolled them
Is Aaron Rodgers playing again next year?
I don't think so
He's washed, just call it a career and go into broadcasting or be the host of Jeopardy
He’s way too unfiltered and blunt I feel like to be on TV lmao
How am I so oblivious?? I only just now found out Patullo was fired today and it happened 7 hours ago. Did I just skim over someone posting it lol
Tbh I feel like Aaron and Marshawn Lynch could do a show or something. They both have a super solid relationship and are super entertaining everytime I see clips of them as former teammates
As it pertains to RG3 this was the offensive staff his rookie year. You might notice some familiar names. All I'm saying if you had these guys in the building with you and still managed to flame out, might just be on him
Yeah. For more moments like this

what the fuck?
how much of this was his injury....
Apparently the wording was ambiguous so while he's 100% out as OC allegedly there might be wiggle room to put him back on staff in an assistant role. I think I'd rather just take the firing, have some dignity
Forever gonna be one of the biggest what ifs in NFL history sadly
Sean McVay the tight ends coach
A lot of his upside was his mobility and that died in one playoff game.
I have to assume he either didn't study or just couldn't understand the intricacies of the pro game
It happens
Then Jay Gruden wanted nothing to do with RG3 because he liked Kirk Cousins more
I just googled the biggest “what ifs” in NFL history and this is what AI has to say
this is funni
Very
What if Kyle Shanahan wasn't a human pile of shit
Bo Jackson injury was definitely sad. Dude only played 38 total games
Jim Harbaugh has more rushing yards than him and that’s a travesty
I still never understood why the Bears took Trubisky. He was a 1 year wonder, even if Mahomes was apparently this super raw prospect at bare minimum (to me) Watson was a clear cut better prospect with a higher track record of success in college. He should've been drafted over Mitch for sure
It was a terrible tackle too. Such a brutal hip injury.
It honestly didn't even look that bad on replay
The worst part is knowing John Fox didn't even know the Bears were taking a QB there.
Like how often is a player gonna end up with a dislocated hip of all things?
The Bears got mocked for it the most. But the Niners and Jets also missed on him. I think 2017 is a lot like 2005 in what ifs with one QB.
not often at least in football
way more of a thing in baseball
Josh Allen is gonna get carted off next game and Trubisky is gonna carry them to a super bowl
He's gonna kiss so many titties if that happens
This generations Nick Foles
The greats
I don’t wanna wish injury upon the man but holy shit he got banged up bad in the Jacksonville game
Honestly it matches up
Like Jacksonville def shook Josh up a bit
I'm just grateful Sean Payton didn't get him like he wanted
Both franchises didn't have a Super Bowl yet and both QBs were always backups
Trubisky's problem is always going to be that he can't process and react quickly enough to make the right throws. That's always something you can't coach out of a player.
Burrow out of the Playoffs
Lamar out of the Playoffs
Mahomes out of the Playoffs
Is this the best chance for Josh Allen to make it to the Super Bowl?
I think his problem is more so that he’s a shit quarterback
Trubisky's main problem was he was a project QB and was given Matt Nagy as his teacher
Yeah. Trubisky wishes he could play against a Mike Smith defense every week.
LEGEND
Bears Trubisky was painful to watch
I remember choking to Kaepernick like it was yesterday what a coach
I would say talent wise he's head and shoulders above every other remaining QB in the postseason, but he's also extremely banged up rn
It’s Trubisky time
Banged up Allen just beat a pretty good Jags team. So, the Bills have no one but themselves to blame if they don't make a SB at least.
Doubt he's ever gonna be gift wrapped an easier bath to the SB than now
Sad thing is even if the Bills don't get to the SB this year I still don't think they're gonna fire McDermott even though they should
It could be more difficult but idk if those other teams have had a good defense like Denver has
Josh Allen makes the bills look way better than they are
Honestly it's bad to make the Playoffs and go far with a coach like him in this situation cause all the good coaches will probably be hired already
He finally won a road playoff game, he’s keeping his job
What dirt does Zac Taylor have though
Imagine 12 months ago saying every coach in the AFC North will be fired but one will remain and it's Zac Taylor
The Bills should if they don't make it this year. But the likely outcome is if they hypothetically don't make the playoffs next year.
This is what I'm talking about with NFL coaches. Teams are so afraid they may get it wrong with the next HC hire that they forget that they have a Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen on their team. How many chances do you have with these guys to win a title in their prime?
You have to do anything to win a title and yet both teams have acted like chicken shit fools with the coaches.
Low hanging fruit
But it gets laughs
It’s a miracle they got hot at the right time
Just a meltdown
I remember the Cards were definitely a wild card that year. They showed moments of that playoff run during the year. That Cowboys ending was the most Cards thing to happen that year.

@smoky fable @proud coyote not drafting for a few months so will come back to this but who should I be targeting in my draft? I have second and fourth overall
jeremiyah love if by miracle he doesn't go first
it's gonna depend on the draft largely
who else
but you need receivers and running backs basically
So that draft is just gonna be about the upcoming draft class?
yeah, that's how dynasty does it
Guy who's drafting first
Is there a realistic chance said guy doesn't go
he'll pick BPA
you guys have three flex spots
and his RB3 is brian robinson
the only other option for first overall is mendoza
I forgot your league is a superflex
so that's actually a good choice for you
you need another QB quite badly
Despite having Jayden and Trev?
yes, you need three QBs
not just for byes but so your team doesnt sink when one gets injured
this look got him benched, thats why he cut it off 😭
Especially since as of rn it's question mark if JD is gonna be injury prone from now on if this season was just really shit luck, that and TLaw has had some injuries since he's turned pro
Mendoza futures wise isn't half bad
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4G9PRucdCGo @weak gull @willow galleon Sorry for the late night pings, call me crazy but just looking at Mendoza's highlights from this season I'm seeing a lot of Andy Dalton
Fernando Mendoza | 2025 Season Highlights | Indiana QB #15

Who's watching Fernando Mendoza highlights at 3 in the morning?
Giannis was really pissed about the bucks home crowd booing them at half time 😭
I mean I get why the crowd booed since we were down 30 at halftime
But at the same time I get Giannis
Also Doc Rivers has to have generational dirt on every single board member cause how is he still coaching an NBA team
Top 10 #respect moments https://vxtwitter.com/themadridzone/status/2011066280476840036
Surely not addressing the disastrous center back situation that has been going on for years and buying yet another world class winger will solve this situation right
Just one more offensive player I promise
What? Our entire backline has suffered crippling injuries every season for the past 5 years? We have 15 UCLs we don't care

Thank you MadridZone
God what an insufferable club
That Ravens-Steelers game even funnier now knowing both HCs were gone within 8 days
They're gonna keep the yesman
What happened to players not being above the club
Only 4 Madrid managers I can think of that lasted any amount of significant time in the last 35 years, so a long time ago lmao
Del Bosque, Mou, Zizou and Carlo
I still remember their disastrous 7 years
“First of all, I think it’s another sign that something isn’t quite right there at the moment. If Xabi Alonso, who over the last two years in Leverkusen has shown what an outstanding coaching talent he is – and I think at his age and with the number of jobs he’s had, you can say that — is then forced to leave Madrid just six months later, it shows a few things."
TALK YO SHIT GOAT
@robust grotto
Fact
Pure fact
Yoda Namath is insane 😂
The MARCA headline quotes him saying he wants to see Vini dance (of happiness) again 😭
Board most certainly loves Vini more
If I were a RM fan I'd want Vini out of the club
Than Mbappe
I've always rated Rodrygo more personally
The culture is sign the biggest name of the moment and win every trophy
classic playoff game
The only matchups that even resemble a rivalry are Spurs-Rockets and Knicks-76ers lol
This is so fucking cringe
Burn down the marca offices
nah rivalry is more of a nfl thing atm
reductive as far as ?
😭 isn't that Rex's wife
Dude idk people are talking like he's a one year wonder and is only going to regress from here
Like....it's just a tiny bit ridiculous.
Stroud isn't a bad qb by any stretch, but i think he struggles against certain schemes and thats usually what happens when people figure you out after the first year
me personally S1 JD5 was amazing, but he also struggles against certain schemes and we will see if he figures it out
really i would say 99% of the QBs in the league are in this boat
however
some of that group just have better coaches that help mitigate that
i think the texans really haven’t prioritized his development
they found a way to include him and stuck with it. The dedication is noteworthy
Drew deez
Yeah what Juba said essentially. Love if he falls, Mendoza, and one of the receivers in Tate or Lemon.
Tate is all round better receiver than Lemon imo (definitley not bias). If he didn't have to be on the same team as the best receiver in the nation, he'd be the standout easy WR1 this draft (I think he still is but it would be even more obvious)
He's an amazing route runner
and he can block pretty well
I like Lemon tho, I wouldn't mind the rams drafting him. He runs like every DB on the opposing team killed his family or something
I can see the Giants drafting Tate actually
at 5
Sounds like the giants sent the jet to pick up Harbough
Giants were smart to do all the Rooney rule interviews first.. they can hire Harbough today if they agree to a deal
Since when the hell was I supposed to dislike the rockets?😭
I am good on plane rumors
They said he struck out last time.
Turns out it’s real
i could see tomlin in atlanta
None of this is really happening until next year.
Sadly he doesn't want to be apart of this window
Harbaugh or Kubiak
Anything else is a failure
@fleet orbit
There’s a chance Harbaugh leaves the building but doesn’t mean it’s over
We can’t stop him from wanting to interview the other teams
the jets already have a coach no?
They kept Glenn I though
ya they kept him, hes fine. i actually think he can handle new york
but they def need better coordinators and a large roster revamp
i hope the locker room heard this
Bring me my pookie
alex , have you ever considered bears scoring 51 in the 4th?
and to say cam i say caleb would’ve jumped on that ball
WHAT
really bro
feel like that might work
but also uhh...
tomlin kinda been not doing well lately
and the falcons are ok as they are
he said he wants to go to a warm weather team and i assume he wants to be able to compete for the playoffs quickly and the falcons do allow that
sadio mane sheesh
Nah woody is sticking with him
Speaking more on fantasy, but depends where they land and their situation.
Make it a pair of Rams coordinators for the Steelers, who also have requested a head coach interview with LA’s defensive coordinator Chris Shula, per source.
@hollow wind
Seems like rams will lose some staff
Niners and Seahawks as well
Thank god Josh McDaniels sucked in Denver and Vegas
Oregon QB Dante Moore is planning to announce his decision about whether he will or won’t enter the NFL Draft on ESPN’s SportsCenter at 2:30 EST.
Shula or Saleh scream Pittsburgh HC to me
Defensive coach
i would love saleh there
Leader of men
Exactly

He might be a future Jet
Number 2 pick so you might see him
this is brutal for the jets
@robust grotto
Welp
No qb now
Disagree
I saw this dude live
He’s not ready lol
Did the Jets a favor.
Had he been picked by the Jets, I assure you everyone would be laughing after week 4
maybe that just means jets go bridge again and wait till 2027
Arvell Reese time to NY
Chambliss in the second?
if jets do that and chambliss pans out the jets suddenly might be able to use the draft picks on a lot of needs
If you need a qb
They’ll draft one IMO
If Glenn is that desperate, he can take Kyler Murray
I can see that happening now
Either that or go the free agent route again and pay Malik Willis
That might be the move tbh
COYG
UP THE CHELS
There's always Ty Simpson. But i think the Jets would want to trade down first before doing that.
I trust you, I’m not going to act like I know much
Moore to the Jets would’ve been a laughing stock. I know T Tech had a great defense but what I saw from that game was pure stink, sorry to the kid
BENNY BLANCO
Next QB class will apparently be stacked so Dante Moore coming back another year just to have another chance of a Natty is just real stupid priorities IMO. You're risking not getting a 1st round rookie contract.
He may be a second rounder next year.
Oh wow…
So he really did this to avoid the Jets
IDK. But this reminds me too closely of Matt Barkely.
Had the chance to be a first rounder in 2012, decided he needed to stay one more year and fucked up his stock.
Oh yeah i slightly remember this
.. cardinals player right? Idk why I’m thinking them
You're likely thinking of Rosen, but no. Barkely went to the Eagles in 2013.
You will respect the Bills legend
Ah. Back when the eagles couldn’t get a QB to save their lives. Better times. Better world.
Yeah. Back when the Giants... Collapsed after a 6-2 start...
Ahh the good old days
Before an eagles Super Bowl
The Jets had one more ring than the eagles ever did. An amazing time
THEYVE WON SUPER BOWLS?
For the majority of NFL history , the Jets had 1 ring and the Eagles had 0 🙂
