I think that's a point. Licht hasn't drafted many superstars on that side of the field and hasn't really tried to push for a trade or FA signing because of the cap situation from the Brady era.

But that's the thing, though, right? Rick's trying to suck up to Bowles because good is just good enough, but trying to do that, you end up shitting on Licht. This excuse can't even work because a big part for these players is development. Which falls on coaching a lot. Which Bowles coaching staff hasn't done shit to develop a lot of these guys, and some have even regressed.
