@fleet orbit there is a caveat to this though, and that caveat is that if theoretically the service time system remains the same after next CBA Where a team has six years of control over a player, Because Cade Horton was called up in the middle of the season and not within the first 15 days of opening day he did not accrue a full year of service time naturally
But because he got second place in ROTY per the 2022 CBA rules, he will be automatically granted a full year of service time regardless
Meaning that instead of becoming a free agent at 2032 he’ll become a free agent at 2031
