he also got his dad to go with him who was our O line coach and one of the best o line coaches in the league
That's like a monkey's paw wish.
And I don't believe in Allen until he actually does it
At least the Giants are probably in the top 20 in the NFL and not bottom 5
Just found out Vegas odds have had Mahomes jump Baker in the MVP betting
Haters
Allen still number 1 atm for some reason
It's the Bucs. They always forget about us.
I don’t know if I asked you @dim kettle what’s your take on Dart these first 3 starts? Objectively
idk about top 20 but giants are not a bottom 5 team
browns dolphins titans jets saints
Pretty decent. I'd say better than what Danny Dimes was doing the last 2 years there.
saints have definitely been competitive
rattler might have a shot at keeping his job
This game is so annoying lol
We’d be 3-3
Most bad teams in history played competitive until the games didn't matter.
1 game back from division
Question, do you want the Giants to do well enough to keep Daboll or are you done with him?
The 2009 Rams didn't lose every game by 20 or more points.
Tbf we coulda dropped the game too thanks to the literal worst reffing Ive seen in years
what’s crazy to think is the dolphins were a few plays away from being 4-2
they were right there with the pats panthers and chargers
The current pros of Daboll outweigh the cons so idc if Dart saves his job
Fair
The league is a lot more muddled than it ever has been
However that could change quick so tbd
I'll do you one better, before the game yesterday the Bucs were a few plays away from entering that game against SF 0-5

The Giants beat the Chargers and Eagles. But... it just feels like Bowles with the Jets the last year with Darnold. Like, how much of that will matter.
and that’s okay! this isn’t alabama against sam houston state this is the nfl
the jets somehow been trash this whole time , consistent as fuck
We can talk about how the Giants beat the Eagles on TNF, but we can also talk about how they lost to the fucking Saints and in a bad teams find ways to lose games bad.
bills were down 14 to the ravens , yes i can understand context
I think that Eagles game, and this is speculation, is getting blown up hard
I want to see how the Giants respond in the next game
i still would rather be a giants fan than some of these franchises whose locker rooms are imploding
They played an Eagles team who just played an extremely draining Broncos game and turn around on Thursday and have to play a division rival
I do think the Giants had good signs
i kinda hate thursday games
On one hand, yeah. But at the same time, you're not competing for a title either way.
Nah it feels a little different
We all do
But I think pumping the brakes a bit is needed
aaron rodgers and joe flacco is gonna put 20 year olds to bed at old people time
I think it’s overblown at this point cuz prime time but it’s not nothing
You have to understand where the Giants have been especially against the Eagles and especially in Primetime situations
And how we won
But I think you caught the Eagles at a great time
We bullied them
eli struggled a lot with the eagles
You also need to consider our roster
Can you name our receivers starting in that game before the game
idk why , but i wish the giants well
A bad Dolphins or Jets team once in a while would beat NE in primetime.
I want to see the Giants put together more consistent wins and games before I do any swearing in franchise guys and all that
You know exactly who the Eagle offensive players are
dolphins actually had some nice wins against brady every so often
You know Giants D by heart sure
That and Daboll clearly trying to save his job no matter how many brain cells Dart has left
But Jaxson Dart led McDonald’s workers to a primetime win
Same
I see it like this. I'd do less yapping about how things are different now, and wait until near the end of the season to do the yapping.
Beat the Broncos
Fair and I ageee
at the end of the day the giants have a rookie contract qb , that’s a good thing if they do it wisely !
First time since September 28th
Cool to be hype, wait on running with narratives
i’m sure you have missed your team
i fucking missed the bears
we love our teams even when we hate them
Next step for Dart is to win back to back
And win on the road
He has yet to do that
I missed pats football. Watching these mfers fumble 1000000 times to Pittsburgh and whatever that vegas game was sucked
But
I did miss em
That Pitt game we could cruised to a win, I swear Tomlin Magic for mediocre but winning seasons just is eternal
the reason i’m so amped for tonight is say the bears can find a win and be 3-2 , than perhaps the bears can try and make something out of this season
it’s not like the wildcard race is that insane
i don’t like the guy but let’s give credit , rodgers is playing decent football
He didn't even do anything against us to warrant the win
Like sure maybe now he is
But against us he was pedestrian
that’s fair, ultimately at least the pats have stacked some wins
The Steelers are the most hollow winning team in the sport.
the steelers will win the north and than 1st round exit
Yes, and tbf this is a progress year and we have Drake
i just saw the injury report and this is the first time this season i don’t feel so bad
Off topic, but it might be a little bit easier for the Leafs in the Atlantic. The Bolts look bad.
Maybe. But winning the Atlantic is less what I am worried about. Tired of getting in the playoffs and just Leafing it up
I am HOPING the new depth pieces prove worth a damn
That and not having a winger who disappears into the ethereal realm anytime the post season starts
It was a pitching duel we couldn't win
Mariners have one of the best pitching crews in the league
I'm not there yet fully. But at some point many people need to start having the Jon Cooper talk. Because these players are not playing like cup contenders.
And a 5 star catcher in Raleigh
It'll be a dark day in Tampa
But I get it
going to be tough sledding going forwards
Beyond so
ah well if you want to win it all its hard to expect not to face the best
That's my view
In hockey it's mostly a player issue first sport. But Jon Cooper has been with the team since I was entering high school. Something is not working.
Plus the Mariners are my second team and hometown boys so
If the Jays cant do it
Then I am cheering for them
I'm on the no Dodgers wagon
Maybe he needs to evolve?
wouldn't mind the mariners though
It's like what's happening with the Ravens rn. It's not saying the HC is bad, it's that if he's even the right guy for the team rn
hitting and goal scoring sigh why do the teams I root for have the same issue
Being in Seattle and seeing the passion for the M's makes me glad for people. I've talked to Mariners fans and everyone Ive talked to has been really cool and wished the other luck
You could be on to something then
I wouldnr mind Cooper being the leafs coach
I reckon he could win a ring with the leafs
I asked this question hypothetically in the Bolts Discord server the other day and all I got was "I don't believe it's a leadership issue. It's the players, they have less drive and hunger" And I'm losing my mind a little at that because isn't that part of being a HC in the National Hockey League?
I haven't seen anything from Berube that makes me super ecstatic
it is
Have been cool with Treliving tho
With Treliving. You're gonna get a roller coaster. He'll make a few smart moves and then try to copy the Hurricanes for some reason and then make some of the worst trades you'll ever see.
what is that gif lol
okay
Turn over a new "leaf"
By the way going off of odds if the season ended today Joe Schoen would’ve drafted the DROY and OROY
Just a joke man no worries
🙏
Treliving is only getting a break rn with the Leafs because he hasn't done a rebuild yet.
with Matthews and nylander around that won't happen for a while
With NHL GMs. Trades seem random and insignificant at the time, that turn into major Ls for the GM afterward.
Maybe but for now things seem fine
Marner is the only significant loss and that dude was gone with or without brad
Tbh he shoulda been gone when we had Kyle Dubas
In the next few years, if you start noticing thing like 'Hey, that guy was with the Leafs and is playing great, and we got nothing from it' that's when you know it's a Treliving run team.
Hockey is like baseball with moves, it takes years of running a team to notice things are going right or wrong.
I can only say good luck.
No use worrying about a sky that may not fall
I think for most FOs it's like that. Unless you're Buffalo where you know what the outcome will be.
Sabres are a sad sort
I've been a fan of the Lightning since 2003. I've seen less GM hires as a fan than the Sabres in 15 years.
that's the year I was born
https://x.com/sfdata9ers/status/1977779182881898735 @proud coyote @dim ledge @plush jungle Holy crap
sabres are indeed just depressing
I was not aware of this
I don't know how much longer the niners have with Lynch
They gotten some good pieces with trades and signings.
shanahan I think stays but Lynch eh
Lynch is a perfect example of a good GM with some misses over the years.
1st someone tell me how did chief bocome so ass all of a sudden
chiefs are 3-3 and just beat the lions by double digits
I dislike them but they are fine
they're sitting 3rd in their grp
earlier they were like the default winner of their conference
not just grp
It's a slow start for sure but they're getting healthy and they get Rice back from suspension next week
Only a game back
They'll be fine
rice is WR??
I can't expect the chargers to not derp it up
iirc tyreek hill contract is running out ri8?
I apologize I'm confused what you're upset about
hill has been long gone
any chances they'll bring back their old player
What does grp stand for?
nah I doubt it
The Chiefs the last few years just knew how to win games ugly or not. Mahomes just hasn't been the same guy he was for many years.
group
the 4 teams they play... i don't remember the term sadly
division really
This is both us signing and trading for scheme fit players and drafting guys who are scheme fits for specifically our system but have traits that get them marked down on other boards. EG our RT Mckivitz who has short stubby arms but is quick and has the proper balance to play for us
yeah division
Ah, the AFCW
Yeah they'll be fine imo
Chargers are getting banged up, Raiders are trash. Broncos are a coin flip but I'd still take KC over them
Should still easily win their division
doesn't help that the chargers lost to the giants and commanders
You got to trust the Chiefs because of their track record.
looks like kelce is currently busy with something else 👀
tyreek hills future is interesting
Your boy @robust grotto
mariners win and Byron being below the cutline by 15. brutal sports day
oh and the niners lost
is he washed???
He wasn’t really but he’s now going to be
i think until i see him on his next team i can’t say
And less washed, more hobbled permanently
what injury did he pick up
I find it crazy that the Chiefs have been very known for the high power offense and the two major contenders the Bolts and Broncos answer to this is by doing the exact opposite. And wonder why they lose by 2 points to the Chiefs instead of 7
his career went downhill after the miami move right???
as far as being a bonafide best wr in the nfl candidate yeah but i think he could still be a starter
Tore like several ligaments in his knee and dislocated it
he was dumb for leaving mahomes
yikes
Not really, he had two great years there
even for a dirt bag like him I gotta feel bad
The Broncos are defense first team. And the Chargers play a chicken shit offense that often takes control out of Herbert's hand and gives it to the RB.
Then last year was a mess for them all around, as is this year
And he got nick chubb’d
oh so that's why chubb is just mid now
I don't follow NFL much since its an american sports. But I've a general interest in sports and I just found the game interesting so I liked it
Like honestly, he had the two best years of his career in Miami
Chubb’s injury was gruesome
Chubb's prime is basically over.
i understand this ! i swear even the masters i’ve tried to watch out of curiousity
So now that I understand a bit better I'll try my best to explain. Rice being their #1 WR and target being out hurt them immensely out the gate, 3 plays in their week 1 game against the Chargers they lost their other starting WR in Worthy to a dislocated shoulder, and considering they were going to heavily rely on him that day for their gameplan it threw their plans into whack, then the next week they got controlled by a good Philadelphia defense, starting in Week 3 though things have slowly started getting better for them. Easily beat a young Giants team, destroyed a Ravens team that has been decimated by injuries, small hick up losing to the Jags in an upset but it's the NFL, and then dog walked a really good Detroit team yesterday. Biggest issue for KC seems to be their inability to run the football so their offense has become a bit 1 dimensional but getting Rice back from suspension next week should at least take their passing attack to the next level. All in all it's just been a slow start but they're well in position to get control of the division back
I've never watched golf
it was …. fine
i didn’t love it but it was okay
Understandable. The Niners are often still too hurt to play.

John Brodie was a great golfer tbh
NFL players playing golf in cabo wouldnt be the worst idea after the season
Maybe the best other sport pro golfer ever
speaking for ravens, how are they doing? They've one of the best QB in NFL right? Lamar Jackson??
They're a sad team rn
absolutely awful
Lamar is injured
Decimated by injuries. Lamar is currently out with a pulled hamstring for at least the next 2 weeks
so when i watched it i think i get why it hypes people up
hell i can admit i also came off a march madness high
it’s just …. idk , too like upper class white man from naperville , IL for me
Looking like John Harbaugh's last year bad.
He should get immediately hired
he will
Titans specifically
and there's a famous QB in Jaguars right??? whats his name
lol
I wonder if the Jets would try also.
Trevor Lawrence
trevor lawrence you mean?
not that he's good
he’s kinda league average
Trevor Lawrence, he's not what I would call...great. He's extremely overpaid rn
That would be very jets of them but they shouldn’t
da raiders should
But the Jags are currently winning games (because of their defense) so he's getting a pass right now
idk anything about it but for some reason I've heard his name alot
Jags are winning games because of their unsustainable turnover deficit
i don’t think harbaugh gets fired
it's hard to say
The Jets are desperate for their next Bill Parcells. lol
all things considered the jaguars aren’t in a bad spot rn
jaguars are fine
I think a part of it is usually for NFL teams their QBs are considered the primary face of their franchises. What with Shaq Khan being the Jags owner and making a concentrated effort to get a lot of the London games the Jags are gonna get a lot of international exposure
ohh... who's this year's rookie to look forward to?
#1 draft??
are you saying current rookie or next year
no like this year
I must admit the Panthers having the same record as the chiefs is not what I expected
who's looking promising
the number 1 overall qb is cam ward he plays for the titans
e2 looks good
Emeka Egbuka the rookie WR for the Bucs is off to a historic start, looks to be the front runner for offensive rookie of the year
He did just get injured though yesterday though
So that puts a little damper on his season
oh dang
I follow soccer alot but the best thing I like about NFL is the draft. This imho makes the league more interesting since teams with bad seasons could get better by getting good players
Hopefully it's just a week.
it's also actually fair unlike the lottery
He's taking the "I'm gonna supplant Mike Evans going forward" role too seriously, even starting to copy Mike's yearly hamstring pull
welp
basketball is the same there too but the lottery is a weird system i don’t like it
but i probably shouldn’t say that as a fan of a franchise who did benefit from it and got an mvp
out of it
in soccer so much money is involved that a lower team beating a top team is like miracle
No one should like it because it's often rigged.
I don't like the lottery
nico getting number 1 backs this up
nhl and MLB do this also
Current draft order before the games tonight btw
the wizards are collateral damage of the lottery
The lottery is so rigged
With the NHL and MLB at least there isn't a guaranteed best player to play immediately.
I can't accept the lottery system
i don’t even know how you’d scout baseball
me neither
i mean mike piazza was considered a dud prospect and he turned out awesome
or hockey for that matter
Baseball and Hockey players are being drafted just out of high school or still in high school in many cases.
they also don't play right away usually
I'd say 3rd popular rn
I would tank it 4th or 5th
all i've heard is its falling
still very but i would say nfl and nba are probably more popular as of now (nfl obviously is )
can't really answer that one as a Canadian
id have to guess f1 is close to as popular
You have the big 4 sports. And honestly It's the NFL and everyone else rn.
What is above it besides football and basketball lol
pretty much
isn't ice hockey the most popular there?
NFL NBA clear second
hockey ain’t more popular than baseball , and that’s by nature of the fact that hockey isn’t cheap to play
You put a NFL game on it's going to crush a NBA or MLB game.
but as far as niche fandoms go the nhl fans have my respect
it's hockey historically but basketball is catching up recently
- Football..... Canyon sized fcuking gap ........ 2. Basketball 3. Soccer (most youth organized) 4. Baseball
People don't watch soccer in the US but they do play it
Trending in a good direction but at a snails pace in comparison to the big 4 sports leagues. NFL is by far the most popular in States, NBA in 2nd, Baseball probably 3rd and NHL probably 4th
Yeah. That always made no sense to me.
this is a good point
In the US, the gap between people who watch baseball and people who watch soccer is larger than the gap between people who play soccer and people who play baseball
soccer is maybe the cheapest sport to organize and play if you are short on money
that does factor in
oh playing lacrosse is probably somewhere there but I haven't seen much
Lacrosse is an east coast thing
North east
And wherever those wasps have migrated to
soccer is prevelant here in Canada but I only played for a year
Soccer IDK if it's because we like things closer to our country or a culture thing just hasn't clicked with many people including me in the US.
yeh I'm talking about Canada
Doesn't help the the very best of the best soccer teams are in the Eastern hemisphere so any fans in the West would have to get up insanely early to watch games
Cest la vie
you mean european football?
now as an american one thing that is refreshing about european players is many of them don’t resonate with celebrity culture in america , and i do not either
Mhm
Even Hockey here has more ground in the US than soccer.
but it’s easier to facilitate playing soccer
yeah soccer in terms of people watching isn't big here
It's mostly because we have not fostered the environment dedicated to it. To have soccer at.the level of Europe we need to start kids from youth not just when they hit 18. Now tell me what parents in the US would be signing their kid up for that where they drop school to go play for a club from 6 years old.
hockey you have to pay for both hockey and ice skating lessons
some big ones are very very big though
poverty does have sway in sports
u know killian mbappe
If we started now. But this goes back generations basically.
in Canada it's more of a summer thing
even macron would suck him off if he ask him to
big but you have guys like jokic who gets more emotional about
horses and i love it
americans might be confused by it but it gives me a glimpse into his culture which i think is cool
I think the US is unique in that regard. We gravitated to our own things. American Football is becoming more known around the world, but for the longest time it was just our own thing we had.
also Canada lol
Well, North America.
one of the rare things actually original about america
Our social structure just doesn't allow it imho. Lol and truthfully.... It's because only rich kids in affluent neighborhoods (yts) get into soccer (professionally) 🤣 it's honestly the same problem for baseball. If we want soccer to grow in the US we need a bigger cultural imprint/higher salaries in the MLB truthfully
if these international games are to get more respect they need to send better teams across the globe
i mean idk baseball has a history of people from poor places coming up with make shift ways to somehow play it
Maybe in the past but think about the cost to be good at baseball today
i guess i don’t associate soccer and baseball with wealth
Same with basketball
still cheaper than say hockey
With baseball, anyone can play it. All you need is a stick and ball.
yeah but to get good you have to have resources to play
and basketball isn’t too bad a cost of entry
Cape Verde went to the WC
get a ball for 25 bucks and find a public park
Basketball was cheap but now our programs are ruined
NIL has ruined American sports IMHO
i straight up go shoot jumpers when i’m pissed off
NIL?
Name image likeness basically money for younger athletes who aren't pros
its lack of regulation is what ruined it
It has brought in so much money and ruined programs
Youth basketball is terrible
That's why Europe dominating us recently
How did Thauvin even get called up in 2025
IDK a lot about those. I played hockey for awhile before I couldn't catch up anymore.
AAU basketball breaks bodies down so quickly too
there’s very little knowledge out there on taking care of the body to handle being a professional athlete
Yeah, that's a major problem happening with baseball pitchers. And it's causing more Tommy John surgery victims more and more quickly.
i think europeans often have to play grown men at a young age so they are more prepared
Luka was like 16 playing grown men
in this case i am
i always wondered about that , there seems to be less off speed guys
bcoz recently in soccer alot of young players are getting their debut
as young as 16
I remember when joining a sports team as a kid was suppose to be fun
the #2 best player of the 2024-25 season was a 17yo kid
too much street ball mentality in america lots of europeans have to learn the professional level
of the game early
I saw something LeBron said a while back how the dudes now just play basketball non stop they basically burn out before the end of college. Where before people would just learn different skills by playing different sports. Now they just play 1 sport 24/7
A funny way to spell sports gambling
I'm telling you, some of these high school pitching coaches are some of the worst people to be around.
i think guys like jimmy graham and tony gwynn played multiple sports in their day
That def goes into it
NIL is a flawed solution to a problem
I think that NCAA players were getting hosed by the NCAA, idk if NIL is the perfect remedy
But something needed to happen
The coaches only care about fame instead of actually doing their job
Name, Image, Likeness. Basically in only the past 6 years have college players been allowed to get sponsorship deals and make money off of their names while playing in college. Was banned until then
Agreed but the supreme Court fucked this up
rest is productivity , lebron gets it
like we just had 3 nba stars tear their achilles in the same playoffs
so whats the bad part of that???
isnt that a good thing
u make money while studing
i think the problem is these smaller schools are a farm system for guys to go to bigger places
and since the clg fees is so high u get to pay it
and even professional sports has things in place that give … idk… the bills or a smaller market a chance to compete
but these schools are barely above water
It is a good thing college players are finally getting paid but for generations colleges wanted to treat just being given scholarships as being "fair" compensation while wracking in billions a year from advertisements and merchandise sales
Twas a scam
When I was in high school if you wanted to do speed training you would just go run track.
You play basketball to work on your short area quickness, play soccer or box for endurance training
that’s where i can’t completely dismiss nil
say what you want about manziel but he was right to say he should’ve been able to profit during his time in the spotlight
NIL???!!!
if they dont want to let college players earn money for their play then college coaches should be making like 70 grand a year
Literally
College players should earn money for sure
The biggest "issue" rn seems to be that colleges that have the wealthiest donors/boosters can effectively "buy" the best HS prospects
but why the fuck are high schoolers and middle schoolers getting nil deals
So it leaves "lesser" programs in the dust in a sense
ohhh
Sadge
Who woulda thought
#thanksihateit
I think there is a good argument that there needs to be some kind of regulation that says schools can't offer X amount of money on NIL deals to try and lure HS prospects each year to try and level the playing field a pinch
NIL probably needs some kind of structure to it - but in a capitalistic society that the NCAA HELPED PERPETUATE - it’s so damn crazy for them to want anything
The ncaa should not own the rights to someone’s name image and likeness when they MAKE THEM the money
Agreed with Vinny
Agreed
That's why I said NIL is a flawed solution but something needed to haplen
Happen
i’m not casting judgement on these college students for chasing the bag , i get it
But also it’s not just NIL, revenue sharing is also a big bubble
Gosh I loved that episode
a sports body is corrupt??? where have I seen that?? laughs in almost every sports body that exists on earth
I think NIL is just a hype term sometimes lol
i hate how right you are lol
i think the unlimited transfer portal is the far bigger problem
FR i was gonna say that
its not corruption within sports but rather sports within corruption
20-30 years ago playing field was leveled
small teams could win the tournaments
now most of them are there just to feed the top clubs
smh
@proud coyote merab vs yan december lmao
oh boy merab wins again
saudi sports washing has taken over soccer
The Lightning finally won a game. It was not a good win and the team looks slow and clueless when the other team scores, but it's a win.
Schools are going to just start doing contracts soon with more in them
You know what I do, so I’m kinda involved. Many guys already have contracts for their nil stipulating what they can and can’t do and what grades they need to hold. Just couldn’t tie it to the school
They need to/will start putting the portal into those contracts now that rev sharing is a thing - and it won’t be
He’s actually fucking doing it
What a monster
so basically you sign a certain contract and you can’t just unconditionally dip?
ye but its good to see a champ fighting every few months
yup
I thought Umar tbf
also Pantoja too
decent event
Umar has to fight Mario
ive dropped out of watching ufc consistently i cant remember the last card i watched
but merab via 75 takedowns
does anyone of you watch any esports???
Amazing event lol:
merab vs yan
pantoja vs van
cejudo vs talbott
moreno vs taira
bogdan vs jan
i used to be huge into rocket league but not anymore
I watch league
i may watch some apex esports occasionally
who's winning this time??? T1
how's fnc over there??
I mean based on historical precedent they’ll just pull some BS and win but it really should be GenG this year
idk i watch is super rarely now, ill maybe watch the LAN a little closer but the game is so bad
are they some kind of super team???
currently?
Basically yes, Korean super team that keeps falling short
what ones
cuphead is my all time favorite
persona 5 royal
i always messed with platformers
tried dark souls , struggled , might give it another shot
does anyone of you watch CS or Valo?
i don’t always like talking to people when i’m gaming
Some people do in #games
oh yeah those must be in #games... mb
I recently started playing RPG
highly reccomend ! and i guess i play one multiplayer game a lot , TF2
got sold on Ghost of Tsushima
Yeah that’s a cool game
and played mafia 2 & 3 as well
ive never played TF2, im currently addicted to Deadlock which is Valves MOBA
whats going on with that
player count is in shambles
its in alpha right?
its in a playtest atm yea, i mean its not bad but its gome some issues, the matchmaking is kinda horrid. its not based on your skill level so you just get an insane range of player level in your games
yea, but deadlock is like a 3rd person shooter moba not a birds eye view kind of thing like dota and league
same concept but plays a little different
oh
Pretty much
They couldn’t do this because it wasn’t the school paying them anything - how can you hold someone down to the school and the schools not paying out of their pocket? Lawsuit waiting to happen
But now that rev sharing is in play, that’s not much of an issue
like marvel rivals??
Not to say it happens instantly, but it will start to occur
thats basically overwatch
and it might fix up march madness as the last 2 years have been far too chalky
different style of game
okkkk.....
lets see when its gonna be released
will definitely try it
lool i thought I was in the wrong channel for a sec
LMAO
you expected a bunch of one piece fans to stay on topic? that’s your mistake 😂😂😂😂
i kid i kid , i enjoy these talks
oh wait mariners jays is today?
both games today
oh hell yeah, it’s a day off for me
i’m a little too anxious to think straight about other sports lol
Be like a straw hat. No plan. No plan to stay on topic.
https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-deebo-samuel-is-expected-to-play-on-monday-night @sweet tree @dawn tapir
Nice get
it reminds me of when nami and luffy are talking about the ethics of kuro and luffy says i want meat lol
i’m most worried about the run game of the commanders
bears run defense is the biggest weakness of this team besides swift being swift
Well, I also think pass rush is a big weakness.
i’m hoping a much healthier defense after the bye can remedy a bit
sweat has been disappointing
Just heard Matt Rhule is apparently the front runner to get the Penn State job

Please be true
boy am i glad i dont care about college football
College sports is a different league.

@weak gull
only reason swift isn’t the bigger talking point is because last week caleb dragged him to the finish line
he’s so bad
It's amazing that Matt Foole's legacy in the NFL is having both Darnold and Baker on the roster and still sucking.
Baker would've been an elite DE I'm sure
Rhule is a good college coach
What gets me though is Penn state accepted literal DECADES of being second tier to UM and OSU with Joe Paternos scandal having ass
Like yeah want better, but it’s not like Franklin didn’t go to playoffs last year and win some games…also is Rhule that much a step up???!
coaching in both nfl and college is very different
i’m not even saying nfl is harder it’s more so personalities
like deion sanders is not an nfl coach , and bill belichick is appearing not to be a college coach
it’s in basketball too, no one is saying coach k isn’t a legend just cuz he didn’t coach in the nba
It depends. College and NFL styles are getting closer and closer to the same now. But it's approach, understanding the room. That was a criticism of Pete Caroll when he came to the Seahawks. His energy work on younger guys in college, but would NFL pros take it seriously?
scheme wise they are but culture is different
Cmon, Leafs. Seriously?
Yeah. It's like I said. Motivating college age students is a lot easier to do than motivating mid-20 to 30 year old NFL pros with tons of experience.
@rustic ore
W NFL LFG
Really disappointing to see he crashed out like that last night, think he's a stud player
As a Bucs fan though I'll happily take him missing that game against my boys
Need all the help they can get rn
I hate double headers
Like just make 1 game 3 hours earlier than the other
It's not that hard
doesnt matter much to me honestly im watching the baseball games instead
but it is dumb
Expected
everytime i see McCoy i think about that old Texas QB
have no idea why but i do
Wow
im rootin for the mariners
home run

HAPPY THANKSGIVING CANADA
Branch told reporters last night he was reacting to the way the #Chiefs were trying to “bully” him but admitted he shouldn’t have started the postgame scrum.
i will say the announcer made it sound like its a regular season game when he hit that
baseball needs some better commentators
Think he said he got blocked in the back by Juju, but Juju said he was making blocks
"Bully" grown ass man acting like a child
id take his paycheck to get bullied
why is that not ben stiller lol
I don't know but someone used AI over it
Not sure how I feel about those Mariners jerseys they got on today, kinda feel like it clashes with the rest of the uni
i could see 0 big name hires this nfl offseason
what jobs are actually attractive
solid hit
If somehow Taylor got canned Cincy would have to be #1 cause of Burrow and Chase
Miami only looks good if Grier is gone and they actually give time to the new staff to rebuild
Grier has to go
He’s done enough damage
I want jays to win, been a lifelong fan since last week
I'm not expecting it cause I don't think ATL finishes with a losing record, but IF somehow Raheem got canned that would easily be a top job because of that defense
Titans have a lot of cap space to work with in the offseason
Could turn things around real quick with some luck
If we miss the playoffs Raheem is gone
You know how Blank likes hanging onto guys too long
MNF double headers are the bane of my existence
I think at minimum a 9-8 keeps him another year
the swedes are deadass bottom of the group
Count your blessings, west coasters at least have some time to enjoy the end of the night after prime time games. Gonna damn near be midnight when the last game ends here
I’m in Ohio Buc 😭 😭

I’m on EST too
My b
Lmao it’s allg
Forgot you still go to school there

what is that tag lol
i just don’t like that they had 2 different fanbases wait an extra day after a bye week
Dirt
just like the rams
ah well @amber grove good luck
Was surprised you didn’t adjust your lineup for fantasy
With London and Rome coming up
Oof. With the talent they have
let's not talk about fantasy
We will prosper eventually
3 TO 1 MARINERS NOW
Huge mistake by Seattle
let us both prosper tonight
my opponent is down 40 and they have deebo and caleb left to play
i’m gonna lose
I made a big mistake
Oof I see
I forgot to change it back after last week when they all had Byes
True but Blank is really Super Bowl hungry
Yeah it do be like that
Continue investing in the soccer scene too Arthur. One of the few who do
i’m starting to think raheem is the problem
that falcons roster isn’t trash , it’s a quality roster
Raheem has done fine
Defense his him and Ulbrich and it has played great
Offense looked good against Washington if they just find consistency on offense we can be the good team we think we are
i think this double header on paper is good
i think the falcons could give the bills trouble
and daniels is a problem but the bears have one of the best secondaries in the nfc
with gordon and brisker playing tonight
honestly Sweden is kind of mid bar like 3 players but they deffo shouldn't be last of their group.
3-2 way to choke it Seattle
Heyyyyy we scored 1 more than yesterday!
Yep
Let's see if Trey can settle down
i gotta be honest i would afraid of a ball going that fast
idk how hitters compose themselves , it’s impressive
Grats
im a bucs fans for the rest of the season i dont care
We have rum and smelling salts
Daulton Varsho is ELITE
Come on Falcons
This ump is buttcheeks 😭
Brother what lmao
I cant see, I am listening but the radio broadcasters are like tf??
You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take I guess
Jorge owns Toronto
Good base hit
BT and Sal went off on Woody Johnson when debating the biggest issue with the Jets:
@BrandonTierney @sal_licata https://t.co/g7AfMIXEyz
Don't think we got enough to move on
Oh well, once the Mariners get to the world series go mariners
We at least put out the Yankees in their house
We got nothing man, Mariners pitching is great, they are hitting off of our best dudes
Id love to see a comeback and okay with being wrong
But I just don't think they got it
Debating what’s wrong with the Jets has been something TV sports analysts can fall back on as a topic for decades
It's like I was saying, John Harbaugh could be available next year.
Now it’s carried to podcasts
Wouldn't be the first time a Toronto team ran outta gas in the playoffs, won't be the last. Tune in come spring time for the annual Leafs fuck up in the 1st/2nd rounds
How many former ravens greats have gone to the jets now if this happens lmao
Ed Reed, Flacco, now Harbaugh
Ed Reed was a funny one.
So close to a homer there lol
It’s a no brainer. Now do either want to marry? That’s the question
It's a good challenge.
Well this is radio but yes lol
Apparently according to a lot of former NFL players John Harbaugh is a meathead lmao
There’s a video of him lifting an absurd amount of weight
Oh yeah he squatted 405
What's wrong with the Jets is a culture problem; their mindset has been outdated for over 15 years now. One offensive-minded HC in 15 years ONE. Using multiple early picks on the defensive side of the ball. It's just a shit show.
Also siren I saw your cooper comment earlier but forgot to get back
My thoughts is .. you guys have the one position locked down that like 28 teams are desperate for. As long as 88 exists, they have to go for it as much as possible, and a new coach with a new message and idea could be the perfect spark
The one hire the Jets made that was offensive minded, AND not a first time coach, was Gase lol
Incredible.
Polanco is him
Even with the win today. The Bolts just look bad. The moment the opposing team scores a goal, the team panics like a headless chicken.
That was us last year but without the chicken part. Simply gave up, heads down, “get me to post game please” mentality
Meanwhile, you talk about this with any Bolts fan, it's absolute denial rn.
It's only 3 games of the year, but don't understand the full picture. Nothing rn indicates things are any different.
Only getting worse.
You see, I always appreciate talking to you (even with the constant jabs at my sports pain) because you live in reality
I also would like to think I live in reality too lol
Rap: Chiefs OC Matt Nagy, Steelers OC Arthur Smith among "names to watch" for Titans' HC search.
It's a reality that not many fans of the team know what a Lightning team is without Jon Cooper.
The Titans just fuck around don't they lmao
the titans are gonna make ward a bust if nagy gets the job
Cannot let him get his hands on that talent
Feels bad for Titans fans
Well I also think the Bolts need to drop the tough guy act like some Panther wanna be. Need to get back to being that high octane side, buzzing around nonstop
nagy doesn’t even get credit for 2018 that defense was all ryan pace
Sorry Hog, you deserve better man
and fangio
IDK if you ever had the feeling with any sport. But a part of me honestly would take a losing season, then whatever the Bolts have been doing the last 2-3 years. It's such a hollow winning team.
There isn’t a bright spot that doesn’t involve a player who’s been there for 10 years
Maybe exaggerated but you get it
arthur smith ??? he’s not even a good OC
Copy cat (ba dum tis) league
And yeah I constantly think about accepting a losing season
People are gonna wanna do what the panthers are doing, which sucks
Because I hate that brand of hockey
With the Lightning, they've been a winning team the last few years, but it's like it's muscle memory, and the moment a Panthers come to best them up, they have no idea what to do. They're a winning team with no direction.
So many teams get caught up with it. It’s sad. It works for them, they created a hell of a team from mostly players that were from outside their organization. Bob is going to get a lot of future teams in some biiiig trouble by giving contracts to goalies thinking they will age like Bob
Their brand will inevitably fall apart, like every team
I mean I get it on some level
Their style is nasty
But I’ll give them this
It isn’t boring hockey
It really isn’t
alright jake moody , please please please just don’t fucking suck tonight
No it isn't boring. But god I hate the Panthers
if there’s a good kicker in there jake , he’s needed
I know lol
The Bolts talk a big game about that. But the moment they're on the ice, they are some of biggest pushovers if things don't go their way right away.
I would rather see Josh Allen win a super bowl than Matthew Tkachuck in another cup
Genuinely they are an anomaly in the last 10 whatever years. The majority of the panthers roster were not drafted by them
At least Josh Allen is likable
in a non judgemental way it’s funny hearing patriots fans say god i hope my divison doesn’t win
Tkachuck is, in the calmest terms I can muster, garbage
Sounds about right. And if you can’t walk the talk.. you’re done
Why? I hate my division
one win is not giving anyone cred over the pats
Yes we won for years and years but I don't wanna see those assholes succeed
The Panthers have won these cups because they have things the Bolts haven't had in years. Things like hunger, and drive, and the ability minimizing dumb mistakes.
Not about that Lebowski
who of the 3 would upset you the least
It's about wanting to see my opponent suffer
i respect the competitive spirit you have about your team
and jets is just absolutely fucking not ?
yeah cuz boston and new york always got beef
I would rather 5 sbs from Josh Allen than 1 from the Jets
alright than i have a follow up question
what would you expect to happen first : jets break playoff drought or dolphins break playoff win drought
Yeah. The thing about NY sports in football is they can have an average QB play for them and they'll be talked like they're a top 3 QB in the league. Cough Eli Cough
i’m honestly going the opposite and saying Jets but it’s a tough one
I don't think the Jets owner, as long as woody lives, will ever be able to have a winning culture
simply outstanding GMing in their own way
Dude just
they haven’t had a good coach since rex
Idk man it's crazy
rex deserves some props tbh
100% i cant stress enough
when people make fun of mara i'm like ??? okay they are ass but hes not woody
I NEARLY SHIT MY PANTS BIJAN DON'T DO THAT
rex went on tv made a foot fetish joke about myself and he instantly earned my respect for his honesty
Bolts Discord hates this saying so much but, the best way to explain why the Panthers have been so good is because They want it more
Buffalo and Atlanta game already starting crazy
Go Atlanta!!!
i think i’m so nervous that im distracted from it lol
I'll leave the props in the mail
no issues with spending more assets for players who fit. getting guys to sign league minimum deals
dude
they made the sneakiest trade of the offseason
in 2-3 years time we can be looking back at florida and saying -
HOW THE F were they allowed to trade for Tarasov
i just think the dolphins strike me as a super soft franchise
you’d have to completely overhaul the way they view football
Oh I didn’t know the falcons game started
dolphins need a killer instinct head coach
Falcons at Buffalos 35 yard line
I really glad I can hate the Panthers in my lifetime. I just wish it would've happened 8-9 years prior so the Bolts wouldn't look like the old man.
lol
LFG
Tuddy
To who
TYLER
i like the helmets and jerseys of both teams
Landon Jackson getting some snaps I see you MAN
Getting some reps on that Buffalo defense
That defense looked rough though
Really looks like chiefs AFC winners at this point
This is like one of his first games getting snaps
So I shall cut him some slack
Overall
For now
Didn’t single him out
Remember Thanksgiving
I AM HAVING FUN PLEASE KEEP THIS GOING DEFENSE
Damar Hamlin is out right? I know him and a few others on the Buffalo defense are out rn
People are talking about the throwbacks. I look at the Falcons helmets and I'm thinking, the Bills need to go back to a red helmet. I mean, Ralph Wilson changed the Bills helmets to red in the first place in the 80s because they wanted to look different.
Patience is a virtue
Red helmet Bills is peak
Also please win Atlanta so I can say for at least one week that the Pats lead the division
i am curious to see if lamar can save the ravens
Imagine saying this shit at the beginning of the season
I woulda slapped myself tbh
Doesn't matter to me. Bucs are the number one team in the NFL rn
No he can’t. As a long time fan, Lamar has done more than enough already. We gotta let John Harbaugh go, really
And idek if that’s gonna fix shit
Cause Harbaugh and Lamar is a good duo
I don't care about being #1 this season when I can just flex on Bills fans for a little while
i think the ravens have enough leverage to hire a really good coach
If we won the division I would be insufferable
You are correct we do. But we need a defensive overhaul, ESPECIALLY in the secondary.
i would be banned from this chat for indecency , i feel ya there
Huge throw
how do you feel about roquan nowadays
I can hear myself now in an alternate universe
"Thanks for keeping the seat warm bitches, didnt even win a ring while we were gone"
The Ravens were having problems before the injuries. That's how dire it is in Baltimore.
Trade his ass for a 2nd or 3rd rounder
i could see that as a return hes a good player
Why you hate us so much shadow
Even if you’re right
if you aren’t an asshole when the team starts winning you aren’t sporting right lol
I got ya beat, I am an asshole when we are bad too
the ravens are in a brutal spot because you have prime lamar and they might only be able to retool
the ravens can’t rebuild rn
It's just a reality I'm facing with my Tampa Bay Lightning. John Harbaugh is still a good HC. But sometimes you overstay your welcome and you're no longer the voice the team needs.
Bills marching fast
naylor pimped one
Chalk it up as a lost year for Baltimore
the mariners are going cray cray
i miss him
the dolphins getting Harbaugh is an interesting idea
I did say we didnt have it. Mariners in the world series is fine tho, 2nd team/hometeam reppin
Only thing questionable was his first base defense
Tbh I think it’s time for a huge overhaul in multiple areas. Rebuild style. Since 96 we’ve usually had a very good team, every season. We just aren’t accustomed to having a good team offensively instead of defensively. Fire Harbaugh, sign and trade for a few prominent offensive free agents, and then draft solely for the defense.
We were due for a few years of the suck
his defense was amazing for the Guardians
i could see it , but would there be some regrets about keeping lamar on a non contender
Wow really
I guess compared to Christian Walker my standards were different.
But that’s something
Ben. If I hated the Ravens, I would've said extend John to a lifetime contract and extend the DC.
Paul Goldschmidt way back
John Harbaugh had overall a great run as baltimore head coach and i can see why he might not return
No Kincaid so the other tight end
but it would be after the season and i’m sure ravens fans
mostly respect him
Lamar is the greatest QB in NFL history to never win a ring imo, he’s eclipsed Marino. If he wants to get traded or leave Baltimore I hope the best and I hope the organization doesn’t stop him and accommodates
Counter point, Marino at least got to an SB once

Brother what no
there’s still time in Lamar’s life to get there
Yeah I personally think it's too soon to say that Lamar has eclipsed Marino
I actually think the fact that I can come on here and tell truths about teams and what they should do indicates I don't hate many teams. Hating teams means I would lie. And that's why the Saints need to keep Loomis for a long time. Because he's doing a very good job at GM and keeping the older guard around.
Josh Allen is closer to Lamar than Lamar is to marino
He has not eclipsed Dan Marino, Lamar has got work to do
Id actually agree there
yes
Marino is a consensus top 10 QB all time, I don't know if people would say Lamar would be that if he retired rn
Hell Warren Moon and Randall Cunningham had amazing careers
We gotta slow the hell down man
it’s getting even weirder to compare eras as the rapid change in passing standards happens
What's sad about Warren Moon is a lot of his career was in the CFL.

Yes but even with the cfl
especially when QBs are starting from shorter fields
Which btw wasn't really his choice
That was out right racism
He had an amazing career
Looks like it might've been raining in DC
Reporters are wearing rain jackets
Could be a muddy game
the respect for black quarterbacks has come along way
like half the league are colored
sigh lol jays
Well, it's raining rn in Jersey. So that would make sense.
Jays just dont got it this year man but that's okay
We put out the Yankees
And won the division
further than I thought they'd make it
Cool as hell
I want to ping Drizzy but he's probably in the zone watching so I don't want to bother him
I think he get's undercut a lot because he's seen as a product of Reid. But the guy was good for his time
mcnabb made some plays that were absolutely ridiculous
man I don't know much history as a new fan
ah well
all I know is that Dan Marino was insane
It's hard to really point out anything about the McNabb because that was mostly a running game team unless we're talking about the one season with TO
He played a game on a broken ankle, I got nothing but respect for him as a player
Dan Marino would be even better in this era
same with phillip on a torn acl
Ran into a sack
Dan Marino, Dan Fouts, Warren Moon, Randall Cunningham all dudes who didnt get rings but were ballers
And Fran Tarkenton
Him too
Really fun player by his highlights
@amber grove Do want to say, really wish ATL wore their throwbacks full time. Super clean, one of my favorite unis
People say Dan Marino was someone that felt like someone made a time machine from around this time, threw him into the 1980s and had him play ball.
If I read correctly didn't Hines Ward play his entire career without an ACL in one of his knees?
Like what?
Yeah this is wild
It sucked for Randall Cunningham. He fucked his knee up and never was the same aside from 1998.
What a monster
0 wins against NE in January.
Yes but I still disliked him and those teams
They talked a ton of smack for a team that never backed it up
Least the Ravens came in and beat us sometimes
Holy shit Shakir!
1 handed sideline catch
ATL challenging
Oh nvm he's out
Damn, so close to an insane highlight
I don't know why but I don't mind the Falcons losing
it might be a rainy game in washington tonight
I like to think of it like a bad guy (heel) in pro wrestling. Lots of things to hate about them, and then your favorites humiliate them. It's like Tampa against the Bruins.
That's gonna be a good challenge
You're probs right, good analogy
@dim kettle idk if he’ll do it but if i’m ben , i put some 12 personnel formations into the playbook tonight
I remember back in 2007, the Steelers had a rookie db named Anthony Smith who was running his mouth about how we werent special or shutting down Randy. We torched that defense and him specifically over and over. So satisfying
i kinda don’t want it with rodgers but i miss when the steelers were elite
I don't
https://fixupx.com/ustadium/status/1977861972247887876?s=46 @robust grotto
They can stay bad for years
Tom Brady and Bill unloading on the Steelers in important games:
Unironically could see him getting moved
i think breece will be traded
going to be mad interesting
Flea flicker to Chris Hogan in an afc title game, deep bomb to Deion Branch in a title game, Drew Bledsoe coming into beat em in a title game. They really just liked getting beat in title games
Jeez, Bijan lit up
would you say maybe 4th rounder ?
