Yeah, clock management is important, but when you're playing to run the clock down, you have to understand 8 out of 10 times the other team understands that's what you're doing, so you get these run plays that end up with no gain or loss of yardage with only a few minutes taken off. You really have to bring your best to trick the defense if you're doing that. And I'd be annoyed too if I'm playing defense because I only get a few minutes to breathe before heading back out.
