This sounds silly, but make sure your taking vitamins and minerals. A lot of people with lower back and/or sciatic nerve pain have vitamin deficiencies. Also some stretching, staying hydrated, using a foam roller or tennis ball on the floor. Put a pillow under your butt/top of legs area to help take pressure off your lower back when you lie down, between the knees and feet when you're on your side. Make sure you maintain a strong core and do pelvic mobility exercises. And obviously I would say deep tissue massage or fascia blasting because fascia can get very bound up in the lower back

People don't realize how much a pillow can mess up your neck lol if you lay on your side, and tbe pillow is too flat, the neck angles downwards which causes a kink on one side, and strains the other. When your pillow is too fluffy, the head tilts up, again, causing a kink on one side and strain on the other. Sometimes no pillow, or a small pillow is best. For people who sleep on their sides and want to use their arm under the head for support, I recommend getting a little tube shaped pillow filled with rice, or something kind of stiff, to substitute for the arm under the head. If not, it destroys the rotator cuff AND hurts your neck.
