Embarassing for the cowboys
I love it
They too afraid of the stadium falling on them
Is this more embarrassing than the lions L?
The Cowboys were basically trapped once Dak got paid. It's like the Washington Capitals when they signed Ovi for 9 mil despite being in his late 30s and on the decline. You can only just "compete" at this point.
Lol not jerry jones clasping his hands in sorrow
6th home game in a row trailing by 20+
Man Jerry wtf are you gonna do now
Reminder. Dak is 31. How much better can he really get? There's only slow decline from here.
Cowboys are going on a 3-4 year mediocre to bad run
Given the last few years I wouldn't call this bad
You saw that tweet too?
This is dismal
Yeah this is new for me, I'm not used to Dallas being THIS ass
Like not even Garrett was this bad
I can only think of the early 2000s the last time you could say it was hopeless.
Like all the stars aligned for the cowboys to be absolutely terrible this year
Garrett was good for 7 to 9 wins
Trailing, 34-10, with 3:16 to play, the Cowboys have now trailed by at least 20 points in six straight home games, dating back to last year's playoffs, building on their NFL record.
Cowboys have continued to make history
Not even that. That's without knowing the full context of each season. Cowboys had a shot in every 8-8 season to win the division and choked it away.
Think it'll be like 2015?
I'm shocked they didn't call OPI there, damn near looked like Mingo tackled that DB
34-10
Classic
This is a fantasy season from hell for me
People like to shit on Jerry for the drafts and what not. But that's not really the major problem. It was Romo's inability to win big games consistently when it mattered most and just the head coach over the years, including now. Think about it. The closest they looked like an elite team for more than a year (Looking at you 2014 and 2016) It was built by Bill Parcells.
I think the cowboys are worse than the giants no
Barely. I might move up one spot at best
I need to win out
Next week is a play in game
Gross
Eugh
That's my German 🥹
Thank our friends, Chicago for the pick always
Good luck zoro for the rest of the season
I’m going to try to play spoiler for what ever is left of it
It sucks but nothing I can do about it now
That’s the right mentality
Just gotta try to build any positive momentum for next season
I’ve gotten unlucky but not as unlucky as you
Not stroud feeling himself and still hanging with his fans on the field
The stars outscoring the cowboys last week told me all I need to know about the season
I just don't know what the direction is for Dallas. Just a mess.
Thats whats getting me too
Like its one thing to watch the cowboys be ass
But it feels like nothings being done
Know it won't happen and Dallas would desperately want to avoid a Khalil Mack to the Bears kinda situation but honestly, trading Parsons for a couple 1s could really help their team overall
I think it says enough that we go back to January when the Cowboys got humiliated by Jordan Love and the Pack and nothing was done about it. HC kept his job, not many moves were made, nothing.
Somehow jerry thought more money would solve the problem
and lo and behold it didn't, now we just have a qb having a contract worth well more than what he's shown
It just reminds me of the Bengals after losing in that playoff game against the Steelers. Just little accountability and delusion that everything is fine.
And the one area he should've spent money towards he didn't: ||Stadium blinds
||
Also big ass stadium lights which idk what that's for besides disorienting the players on field
Pretty sure it's sunlight and not lights inside the stadium
Oh
Why doesn’t he just turn the sun off?
I'm sure he's just waiting for the sun to coordinate itself but much like the o-line, it ain't happening
He's trying his hardest to contact Marvin the Martian as we speak.
Seriously, what kind of smooth brain thought that putting windows in the direction the sun sets would be a smart idea?
Jerruh
Better yet why face the stadium east-west? North-south is perfect with a roof
I always remember the old Texas Stadium. The sun shined down from the Gods. And Jerry with this AT&T Stadium is like, "I want the sun to go the other way."
"The sun never sets on the Dallas Cowboys"
Holy shit! Congrats!!!
Congrats
You’re on your way to playoffs
Team is a juggernaut
Picked up a lot of viable running backs
Hold up lemme scope this out
Yeah! Only to lose to you right away 😂😂😂
Allen is on a bye for you
You need a qb
And the trade deadline passed
I’m gonna pull off a playoff Eli
Richardson or Geno might be your best fantasy guys to get
I scored 152 this week and had 4 players under perform. If they would've done at least what they were projected i would've scored so high
Yo is Even still playing fantasy? He had a few bye players this week
I need you to beat Juba in week 13
I want the one seed
Yknow come to think of it the last time I actually participated in fantasy was with my high school acapella choir (21-22 I think)
My revenge on him will be sweet too
@dim ledge Holy shit your team kicked ass this week!
Jerry Jones not having any fun watching the Texans hammer his Cowboys.
Genoa just sacked Gilardino bruh
First team to get relegated to Serie B here we go
Such a stupid decision
Finally a win
tier 1 source btw

🎖️| Jurgen Klopp discussed the possibility of replacing Mohamed Salah with Antony two summers ago. [@_pauljoyce]
Lmao jeeez
Well they’ll get Kudus now so good for them
oh they 100% thought he was gonna win the ballon d'or
https://x.com/netflix/status/1858873029226373232?t=lpWAC0twxxqgRkhpLrrGfQ&s=19
Kudus looks defeated. Can’t wait to leave the club, in my opinion
Kudus looks average to me compared to Salah ofc
Ofc
But you have to understand he’s doesn’t play on the right with us, and he wants / likes to be on the right
Not saying he’s going to be close to Salah but put him on the right with LFC’s talent and whew
WTF hes 24
i feel like i saw this dude for 10 years
well he's been with madrid since 16-17 iirc
Actually he joined Madrid when he was 18 but he was always linked with them since the beginning of his career because of neymar comparisons
Yeah are you still playing too? 😅
someone said san marino had more victories then atsenal and city combined this month
KYLE MCCORDDDDDDDD
???
What's with the name drop
Did Syracuse do something
No
I just need him to beat Miami
Also the Clemson sc game is a fucking noon game so i don’t think i want to go
Why are we playing citadel later in the day than them
Ah. That's it
Not ideal. Need to tank better and for the earlier teams to win
Titans raiders and browns are your biggest threats
Shocker
No runaway team this year
The Rays about to sign Soto for 23 mil 2 years.
MLB Lottery Odds
First overall pick
22.45 percent -- Rockies (.377)
22.45 -- Marlins (.383)
17.96 -- Angels (.389)
10.20 -- Nationals (.438)
7.48 -- Blue Jays (.457)
5.31 -- Pirates (.469)
3.67 -- Reds (.475)
2.45 -- Rangers (.481)
1.90 -- Giants (.494)
1.50 -- Rays (.494)
1.22 -- Red Sox (.500)
1.09 -- Twins (.506)
0.82 -- Cardinals (.512)
0.68 -- Cubs (.512)
0.53 -- Mariners (.525)
0.27 -- D-backs (.549)
0.0 -- White Sox (.253 – ineligible for lottery pick)
0.0 -- A’s (.426 – ineligible for lottery pick)
I love being reminded the White Sox can't get a top 5 pick. #FuckYouReinsdorf
Rest of odds, but bear in mind that this doesn’t count for the two team teams are ineligible for the lottery
I swear if the Rays bullshit to the first pick.
It has happened.
Time to prep my resumé
No. Vinny you can't clone Dan Campbell and make him the HC of the Jets.
Sports chat- yall think we could collectively run the jets?
Woody will definitely splurge to see if it’s possible
Rehire Adam Gase to a lifetime contract. That's what I'll do
Ew. Those are terrible @burnt cedar @dim ledge
I wouldn’t be this sad if I wasn’t at least trying every week pretty much
You can’t Jet better than this
To Err is human
To Jet is Eternal
Another successful Butt fumble
You still have a few weeks to go!
Fair enough
I can still win the toilet bowl

I’m going to stop reading sleeper comments
Just makes it worse
People always talk about these QBs but never talk about Johnny Unitas on the Chargers or Joe Namath on the Rams. What about them? exactly
@robust grotto
The Sleeper comments are hilarious dude
Like on players? Lol I never read comments 😅
It's helped you with your approach
They are funny but it’s just worse when I made decisions because of them
Like dropping Deebo
DROPPING DEEBO?😭😭
I advise you to stop doing that
you can't drop players like this
I know Deebo has been in a slump but still
I don't read them 😅 i just look at the stats, what team they're on, who they're going to play, stuff like that
Tbh other than Deebo I’m cool with the rest
Just draft your favorite players every year
The tes I got were only putting a few points week by week anyways
Getting guys who can get 6-8 are usually available on waivers anyways
Should have kept 2 instead of only 1 but ah well
Gotta do it next time
Goodson was ass anyways
This year I drafted Josh Allen in the first round, which I'm still happy with my decision. But if I could go back and got a chance for Jamarr Chase, I'd get him 😂
Also tank dell

Yeah I’m too impulsive
Tried to fix my team and went overboard
Too emotional
Frustration boiled over
It sucks when you have a player that is potentially supposed to do well then they suck
or get hurt
or both
Yes!
Yep
Told y’all
The Adams trade was the highlight of Douglas
Go to my sponsor https://snhu.edu/wilytics and learn how you can get started with a Sports Management degree at SNHU
The Dodgers are no strangers to spending a lot of money on players. From Shohei Ohtani to Mookie Betts to Yopshinobu Yamamoto, they have invested quite a bit into their team. Between them and the Yankees this year in the World Se...
Missed out on head coach twice
RBs are so important
Way more than wrs
It’s so hard to find even passable RBs on waivers
Plus they are insanely injury prone
Can't screw up the GM and head coach with Rodgers probably retiring next year. Commit to a rebuild
That’s it. They have to start over
I advise next time if you're drafting high to get a running back in an offensive system that has a good OC
or stack up on them and draft receivers and qbs later
Yes firing coaches and GMs can get you an early start of sorts, but most of the people you will be hiring are all working for another team right now. I think this one just makes the team look bad since there are only 7 weeks left in the year and it serves no purpose other than
Wasting a pick on Adams is costly for the new GM. That's rough
Somebody save G5 please
Great video as to why MLB is the way it is @glass compass
Yeah fair enough
Some more from Halloween night on the issues in the @NYJets building. There are people who've worked there who feel like what's said on the internet influences decision-making. Non-football people have big voices.
Those who've tried to change it run into this stuff constantly.
Lamb was still a good pick but I should have taken achane Henry or walker in round 2 instead of Adams especially with how shit the raiders offence is
Honestly could have doubled up with Pacheco and one of those three
adams kind of sunk you
For sure
It was brutal
Pacheco on ir
Andrews blowing early season
Zamir white sucked. Got caught up in the hype there
I know what he’s saying but everyone on earth that’s connected to football know the jets not only look bad, but are bad. So idk
Trevor Lawrence sucked and I took two fliers at the end which didn’t pan out
Dobbins and Chase Brown were the running backs to get that late on in hindsight
Brian Robinson too
I forgot who chose him cause he thought it was Bijan
and they had to reverse it
Love pick was risky but worked out. Ridley Aubrey and McLauren were good
Yeah for sure
I took two risks
Should have taken one at most and then a solid rb
The rebuild will be tough Lunik. That's all I got to say.
Would you rather be in the jets shoes or giants shoes
Who becomes relevant first
Giants have more of an avenue to get out of this
But both have questionable owners
Giants have less talent at the present
Nabers, Dexter Lawrence, their draft class with other rookies in Tracy?
Jets D has regressed so maybe you’re right
They are in a position to get a top qb in Sanders or Ward
Sauce became a ghost
Ulbrich being in the head coaching role and his replacement DC haven't filled in the gaps
I'm shocked that you say that though
Really feels that way though
But maybe Daniel Jones is the reason why it feels that way
Scoring 17 is like a major accomplishment for the Giants …
Forced to agree talking about right now
The jets are more dysfunctional than anything and have old man Rodgers at the helm
I feel like this is just another guy who's just looking at it now instead of 10-20 years from now. A salary cap is inevitable. It's only a matter of when.
Jets overall roster is better rn than the Giants
That’s how I feel, yeah. Just saying rn
I feel like it is debatable
He also mentions that teams like the Rays, Guards, and other small markets have had success over recent times. Which is such a red herring in the grand scheme of things. Big markets are also doing the same things but can build on them for long periods of time and have greater chances of winning the WS. While teams like the Rays have followed moneyball which has proven to not win WS.
Giants better O-line and D-line, Jets better WRs and RBs, Jets QB better (marginally), Giants better LBs, Jets better secondary. ST units are a push for me
I’m willing to move the LB to be a push
Jets have also lost a good amount of one possession games
Giants are usually dead and buried
Williams and Mosley are a solid duo
I also think their skill positions just generally are that much better
I just think to say MLB will never have a salary cap is just false and coping. Only takes one bad day in the MLBPA to have massive changes. Don't believe me. Ask the NHLPA 20 years ago how well that went.
I don’t even know who you poach to try and fix that mess in NY
Ben Johnson for your own sake stay away from that clown show
You would have to get someone to fix the culture first and foremost.
Like Tony Dungy did for the Bucs in the 90s
I think it’s clear he won’t go to a clown show atp

Joel getting pressed, he better be carful before he tears his knee
Yep. They need a Dan Campbell in the FO and as HC
God. I get PTSD looking at this dude.
Him and Gruden ruining the Bucs. A tale as old as time
I think Rodgers doesn’t come back next year which is why I argue the giants
And not sure they trade up already had spent a high pick to trade for Adams
Roster wise I agree
But for the future, hard for me to see
With the Giants you at least have more opportunity to be a contender at the moment. While the AFC, I mean, count the the names. Allen, Mahomes, Lamar, Burrow.
For the first time ever, Hard Knocks is taking you behind-the-scenes of the playoff chase with the AFC North.
The HBO Original Series #HardKnocks In Season with the #AFCNorth, featuring the Ravens, Bengals, Browns, a…
Tua and the potential of Drake Maye is there too. I'll tell you this who had to see the rest of the NFC South have top 10 QBs for a decade+. It doesn't get easier.
Ben Johnson to the giants wouldn’t be bad if they can get a top pick for a QB.
Any chance Bowles could be fired at the end of the year if it goes sideways? I feel like he’s probably safe for another year
It’s not that simple. Fact of the matter is the Bucs have one of the most popular HC candidates in OC Liam Coen. It’s gonna be hard for Bowles to keep his job regardless because his defense sucks.
Wow
Isn’t the defense pretty banged up though?
15 year old footy fans can’t grasp that gay people exist
It is. But it only exposes the flaws of a defensive scheme more
whoever said the worst opinions on twitter come from Lagos,Nigeria was 100% right
I will watch.
Great!
Still think it's coping to say it will never happen
You're a cope
Like. It's just funny how people see this as a black and white thing. As a small market fan I don't give a shit if my team is "contending" while the Dodgers are taking the Rays ways of thinking and adding onto it to have a better chance of winning the WS. I'd like to keep the guys I have that were built in the system.
If your argument is "But small market teams were 'competing' in the AL playoffs this year" you've missed the plot of the bigger issue. You're in this game to win championships and small markets have proven the way they do things doesn't win you titles consistently. The Royals in the 2014-2015 are the exception to the rule in recent times.
Imagine the Phins right now. This window they're in to win a title. Let's say a few years from now you have to start paying people that you drafted, mind you and your move as a front office is to trade them for more prospects that you hope will be in the same production that the guy you traded because ownership doesn't want to pay for them. And then the cycle continues. While a team like the Rams who draft the same way you do, re-sign those players they built and then build on top of that with depth likely those same guys you traded away. You
The ideal way to build a baseball team is to build within. Show progression as a team and then build on top of that by signing depth and trades that say you're in a win now mode. The problem is small market teams like the Rays would rather not do that and just hope what they have will be enough to win the WS, and when these faces are in their prime they'll trade them off for more prospects.
Ah this is problematic.
But can the smaller markets afford to make the big splash signings?
They can. But we're faced with another issue. O's for example had a terrible contract in Chris Davis. They face larger consequences with mistakes compared to a Red Sox or Yankees.
They can swallow big contracts much more than small markets.
The video is just another guy telling people a salary floor/salary cap won't happen because one side won't agree with the other while never looking into why the other leagues have caps and the challenges they went through to get those caps. And then throwing the red herring by saying small markets can compete so don't criticize the system right now.
I do agree players have the right to fight to the very end to keep their value and salaries as it is. But football players had the same mindset, basketball players had the same mindset, and hockey players had the same mindset.
So it's stubbornness?
What I think it's gonna happen is a soft salary cap. Doesn't have to be soon. But it will happen. The only problem is the journey to that. The 04-05 NHL season never happened because of the lockout as a result of wanting a salary cap.
We don't want a lockout
Demirovic is the worst fucking piece of shit striker I've ever had to fucking endure for 25+ games
@noble fractal
That Augsburg season was such a farce
real
he missed a pen against frankfurt and it cost us

He's misses like 2 clear goals every game
Can't rely on Dzeko because he is slow
Tabakovic just rots on the bench
David Moyes said no to him lol
Tahirovic I see why Ajax froze you out
#Steelers CB Donte Jackson doesn’t know what a “trap game” is from his days with the #Panthers.
“What’s a trap game? What that mean? I played in Carolina, bro, for a long time. I’m not familiar with trap games.”
another striker coming
He was playing championship ball at 24
maybe moyes didn't even look at him carefully lol
I wish I could tell you guys why
Good energy
FUCK MY LIFE
"additional 12 months"
This means they beatin the case lol
yeah probably
Ousmane Dembélé has revealed his obsession with… documentaries about dictators:
“I like seeing what the dictators did: Mobutu, the German guy… Stalin, all of that, I love it (the documentaries).”
Tchouaméni’s and Koundé’s reactions are priceless.
Injuries fried his brain
Also he wasn't German, he was Austrian
Demirovic scored SOMEHOW
lol I am the Trap, Born In It
the who guy
funny dude tho
L'allemand...
Gyokeres vs Isak debate is so fucking over 😭😭

This point stands. #sports message
I wouldn’t say his defense is the best. But he hits for power
zinchenko cooking in midfield
Wtf is going on today. Lots of news
Not sure firing him does anything…
The fact this takes place before anything Nashville or Pittsburgh is crazy
The roster is disjointed all around. It’s this awkward mix of vets and rookies, with most of the vets being mercenaries really
Maybe Boston is ready to gasp rebuild
Woaaah calm down now god forbid
a poker dang
Yes for sure
Nimmo, Marte, Taylor, Siri, and hopefully Soto. Winker now in question too. Doesn’t look good for McNeil, though he can play 2B
The nightmares, finally over.....
Mr. Demirovic got yall a point
Fuck int breaks
ong
I'm so pissed man
What happened
Was there ever a debate
I can't speak for Croco but both Cabal (out for the season) and Vlahovic (I have no idea how long he's gonna be gone for) got injured
Not fun
Yep I think arsenal fans like isak more
https://x.com/centregoals/status/1858989670501408847?t=nROURqu1Ef-2yOyqG5rKtQ&s=19
Ronaldo won an international trophy with this guy 😭😭
To be fair Isak is already used to playing in the pl consistently
4 games in a row we miss the most terrible chances
Could have won all 4 but instead it was
Loss loss draw loss
To be fair Azerbaijan isn't that good
With all due respect
I always cringe at this "pl proven" thing
The only positive I got was our U21 won in euros qualifiers over Croatia
There's some truth to it like every league imo
Physicality is important
I'm not a fan of that term but he's objectively used to playing in a league with specific tactics and players
Really don't think it's that important like they make it out to be
It takes time to get used to a completely new league
Some players take 0 time (Haaland)
Others might take a long time
I experienced it first hand lol
Hamed Traore, amazing player very technical
Just not prem fit
He's going off in Ligue 1 rn
If you watch other league games you'll understand what the problem is
I find it visibly slower in most cases
Prem rarely has those Parejo-esque players now but they're all over Spain
most of the best prem players have usually come from other leagues
I mean I obviously get why that term is used I just don't like it being overused for every player/manager
It doesn't have the best academies
It buys the best players
Isn't Chelsea's academy one of the best itw?
Man City's and Liverpool's also should be pretty good I think
I wouldn't say the best still
Arsenal and Chelsea have good ones I think
Not saying it has no academy
Chelsea is the outlier
Madrid's academy is good Madrid just doesn't use it a lot
P sure la liga is filled with Castilla talent lol
their last good talent was probably Gutierrez
their academy is average but I agree they don't really give their academy players a chance to fully judge
they sell them around the league
Yeah there's a lot around the league
My RMA friend actually liked one of the castilla players and wanted him to start
Fortea I think is his name
The RB
Isak is the most Arsenal player ever who does not play for us
Ehhh, not really
I agree
Ajax, Barca, Madrid have good academies
Madrid academy players were caught child p*rn one year ago lol
City had some good players on their books too in recent years
I assume Ajax's academy is also a top one
It feels like they create a couple of great players every year
United academy is doing good nowadays too since winning the u19 fa cup in 2021
Serie A clubs just toss their academy players around like they are exchanging stickers at the playground
Which I find funny
You would see a player who is 26 and he has like 7 loans to his name
Ligue 1 is also good
And he's still there, last year on his contract
For talent
I just think it's more rare than people think
For the Championship
Like watching an average Championship game is so awful
In recent years they had some bangers
Wrexham might be in the championship next season
Man City of EFL
This new Explore on Twitter is so nice TBH
😭 it finally shows only things i care about
i kinda like and don't at the same time
its not perfect but its 100% better than what the trending page is
lol literally 99% was politics which idgaf about 😭
Twitter trending page has always been shit tbf
It's all just bots tweeting the same hashtag with copy pasted tweets
big facts
🇬🇪❌Georgia to miss 4 players in Nations League relegation playoffs due to yellow card suspensions:
- Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
- Georges Mikautadze
- Guram Kashia
- Luka Lochoshvili
3/4 were shown for Dissent...
We'll lose against Slovakia if it's like this
damn
2 of them were end of the game fights btw
(Kvara and Kashia)
Literally our captain and our most important player 😭
twitter has always been shit
my bad elon has called and told me to call it x
You are right but twitter before Elon was much better and i preferred it over any other platform
That's because there's a shit mentality here where you're seen as a baby until you're 25
Donnarumma debuted at 16 at Milan only because they literally had no other options in goal
A player like Chiesa was still considered a young talent until like a couple of seasons ago
And he was 24 I think
The average Serie A fan complains that there aren't any good young italian players but also trashes said young italians as soon as they have a bad game
Yep
It's unbearable under Elon lol everything that was shit about the app just magnified 4x
Before Elon i believe the racist/homophobic/sexist tweets were at least not reaching the bigger audience so the page was just your followed sports accounts which was really good
now there's a "for you" in which for all weird things and you can't see who even likes those tweets so you can block/mute them
That's obviously the big caveat
Then there's, especially w the sports tweets
The accounts that just comment "wow" "👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼" "amazing" "great win" like 4 times under the same post lmao
That's why monetising the platform was such a big mistake
Blue tick used to mean something lol
Yo fantasy peeps, sorry for being so inactive with roster and trades. Been away for a bit but I’m back and will adjust everything I need to now. Hopefully some of you got a free win against my ass lol
It’s nice to see you back.
Congrats on the dodgers winning

Just cut Godwin and Shaheed since they’re out for the future and start JSN and Kittle.
But you’re back for the Indiana OSU game this week

1 first place vote for a rookie manager who pulled off a comeback for the ages
Thank you MLB voters
Congratulations coach
Man I think I told you this summer to buy cordoba, Colombian striker at west ham
I’m sorry for ever suggesting him
He’s horrendous
@smoky fable Torey votes?
We are the worst, sadly
Fullkrug and Rodriguez already want to leave west ham lol
It’s November
Waste of votes
He turned into prime lukaku
I’m so mad right now
Oh I know. Do a swap deal with Rayo
Rodriguez for Rodriguez
They gotta solve this. So many games I’ve seen this season with keepers with less than 0.8
From both squads
Fullkrug was such a weird signing
Sure at first glance you're like "that's such a West Ham signing" but he really aint
Any chance you can send sini to Colombia in the next 15 minutes
He's on his way
You'll be fine Ecuador got a red
What is this run of form though
Since the Argentina game
Our striker is so bad though
Can you check a player’s xg?
Sofascore doesn't keep track of xG for games like this but he has
2 big chances missed
Make that 5
Weird only for unimportant games?
Think it's not for qualifiers
I am fine with the Bolivia game but the rest has been appalling
Make that 6
Dw Duran will sub on

UPDATED College Football rankings that just dropped less than an hour ago.
First impressions?
chat is Oregon really that good or is it just hype
i don't want to see them play an SEC team and get boat raced
They’re good. They have bad moments
But every team looks fraudulent this year
There hasn’t been a single team that looks great every single week

Oregon would beat every sec team most likely
really
The fact Missouri is still in the top 25 but LSU isn’t is fucking wild
I do think they absolutely are the best team in the nation
I didn’t even peep that lol
Why are they ranked
i hope your right, i just don't want to see Alabma vs Oregon end in like 49-5
It’s so funny that the 2 loss sec teams most impressive wins being amongst themselves is what’s keeping them above 1 loss and undefeated conference champion contenders
You don’t need to worry about that at all. Don’t let the lsu game fool you
We are not a good football team
If the CFP started today, Alabama would dogstomp Notre Dame and then probably play a hella good game against Oregon
Dunno who’d win
I don’t think Alabama is capable of dominating any of these top teams
I’m praying to whatever football gods there might be
Please let Army beat Notre Dame on Saturday
It would be so funny
As long as Alabama and Georgia don’t win I don’t really care
BYU should not still be in the CFP bracket lmao
Boise State took their bye now
Ion think Wake Forest or Syracuse is gonna beat em blud 💀
Those are the only two left
cavs regular season merchants as expected
They have a bunch of injuries
You put too much stock in bama boss😭
Last year you told me I was crazy for thinking Michigan would beat them
nah its not just bama, I just don't want to see hyped teams like play an SEC team in a big game and get absolutly boat raced 😭 its boring
and iv seen it happen too many times for me not to be skeptical
It happens when the talent discrepancy is clear…I don’t think there is a clear discrepancy at all
Also- for as many times an sec team (let’s be real UGA and Bama, LSU had one fabulous year in between in recent memory) has boat raced someone
There have been plenty of competitive games vs them as well
Clemson, OSU, Michigan, Oklahoma have given all of them good games or won
Oregon looks legit Idk why there is fear about them
This isn't TCU that one year
celtics bums
3pt merchants same as in the finals
sold the lead for no reason
Definitely could, highly doubt folks expected GT to do it as well
Syracuse could give them a game for sure
lol
richard the goat of basketball bruh
thats fair, lol i guess i am unlucky, anytime i watch a big CFB game someone getting boat raced
When is Jaylen brown not offensive fouling
celtics role players more clutch than the stars
on or off court
Both
respect white
No
cleaveland potential round 2 exists
They’re winning the East
Not going all that for the tv
mirror your phone onto the tv
America loses
i wanted that streak to end
After losing to Denver, Woody Johnson suggested in a contentious meeting that they bench Rodgers because he felt the 4x MVP’s performance wasn’t playing well.
The coaches pushed back and asked each other if he was serious.
More from @ZackBlatt and me
https://t.co/YTnhOjz1bu
Bench Rodgers for….
Is this guy real
I’m sure tyrod Taylor will unlock something in this team that Rodgers can’t
Taylor won't have the team take psychedelics pregame
@rustic ore
It’s pretty damning
Used the reader mode
And this is why they haven't made the playoffs in 14 years.
Shit like that.
BRAYDEN POINT IN OVERTIME! TAMPA COMPLETES THE COMEBACK!
#GoBolts
LOLJarry
They’re stuck with a terrible owner
philly fans hella funny 😭 conspiracies on point
Who's fans of NBA here? Dang Lakers got a gem on DK
he went off

It’s nuts
Jokic is the next lebron
Just bonkers impact
Regardless of the stats
I am 99% sure Southampton is running a money laundering fraud with city
I can’t believe he fell to us. Teams saw his age and passed
And now we have another starter
Oh my fucking GOODNESS I just drove past THE NJ Italian caricature … stepping out his car, parked next to the popular Italian bakery, a thin but tall old man.. fully decked out in a track suit - top to bottom - with multiple gold chains, slicked gray hair, and sunglasses even though it’s cloudy today
I WISH I took a picture for you guys
It was cartoon level stuff
did you get a lobster tail or cannoli there
Hahaha this guy is probably ordering a pie and cannolis for thanksgiving
Who knows though. Too funny
I saw a guy recently that looked the exact same
Granted with a cane and no sunglasses
Welcome back homie
Hope all has been well irl
Sup Evan. How are you doing?
What a look
True
2025 Winter Classic kits
Might be the most viewed Shrine Game ever?
Did we not literally just have this matchup not too long ago?
One reason and it's the same for the NHL the last few years. Just the lack of compelling rivalries. There's not one great team rivalry or player rivalry in the league rn.
NBA's problem is they let people make superteams too much
So you had
- Super teams
- Good but top heavy teams that somehow would beat the super teams
- 50-50s that made playoffs
- Meme tier teams
Adam silver said it was cause of the election lol
I think there's a lot of problems. It's not as physical. Too much emphasis on the 3 pointer. Lack of must-see stars.
Correct. They’re running out of venues now. Second time for Wrigley Field
He could've said his explanation was on load management and couldn't be said rn and that probably would've been a better answer. lol
Wouldn't you agree though? The NHL doesn't provide compelling rivalries rn? I feel like that never gets brought up whenever the decline of the NHL gets brought up
It's dependent lol. Alot of the rivalries do reel forced
It’s the main reason why the NHL changed the playoff format so the first 2 rounds are strictly in division
Feel
Yeah. That's the sad part. Even with this forced playoff system. Why should Nikita hate Matthews? LA vs the Oilers. Why should they hate each other? Boston vs Toronto. What does Boston have to prove at this point? They beat them all the time
It’s not as organic as before, because of this system
I also think something all leagues share in common is that there are an X amount of teams that are ALWAYS bad
Or at least they stay bad for so fucking long man. How many more years do I have to hear about Detroit or Ottawa being so close
Not even talking about the playoffs only. These matchups should be critical through out the regular season.
The NHL should drop that extra game against non division opponents and give it to division opponents, the more they play in season the better
There are seasons where the Rangers only play NJ or NYI twice a year, for example
So I get you TOTALLY
Like back in the 90s Red Wings vs Avs. Avs vs Stars. Rangers vs Devils. 2010s even. Ducks vs Sharks. Rangers vs Habs. Ovi vs Crosby, Crosby vs the Flyers. Like these rivalries used to mean something.
Moving Detroit to east has had some consequences in that department. They needed to move east 100% but it crushed the ties with STL CHI and COL
I know what you’re saying, and I do agree there needs to be more done during the season about that. They need to schedule these games in big moments. Like holiday season or towards the end of the season, there needs to be juice and stakes in the line
Whether the Wings are in the East or West is irrelevant. That's history rivalries in which CGY/EDM and NYR/NYI keep trying to force on people despite there being no good reason for them to hate each other. Like it would be nice to have a 2010s CHI/LAK rivalry in today's game
I want to meet this man
The NFL rn despite how boring and flags thrown every second, you know Mahomes vs Allen. Mahomes vs Lamar. Lamar vs Burrow. Will get people talking.
Ultimately it has to be organic. Idk the answer
It's not something you can really fix in the game itself. But it's still a problem regardless.
It's a bigger problem that the NHL refuses to promote their stars like celebrities.
It's actually really interesting that the NBA and NHL have the same rivalry issue but both are for different reasons. One league refuses to make the games feel bigger and the other because you often have to question whether or not these players take the regular season seriously enough or not.
It really isn’t. I think also it comes down to our generation; we’re not really nasty in person
Not to make this an alpha male, high testosterone levels, type of convo but our fathers’ era was much tougher to say the least
There could be points here. But once again you can look at the NFL and still have compelling rivalries despite being more friendly.
NFL, black Americans with a much tougher upbringing than the affluent white Canadian / American
Not to make it about race but worth bringing up
And hockey has shown it's still as cheap as ever with hits.
Lmao yeah that hasn’t changed, but the difference is nothing is done about. The players don’t police the game as much anymore
Very interesting though
I'm not even gonna get into that. But the NBA has these problems too with rivalries. So how much of that really matters?
There really is no rivalry worth its salt in the nhl right now
The closest rn IMO is like Stars vs Knights. But the NHL system fucks them over.
I’m just thinking out loud, you know? Maybe another problem is that our generation is all about brands. You’re not just a player but you’re a brand. Why die for you team? Fuck the team, we’re in the era of the individual
It’s not the lakers versus the bucks. The Lebron and the lakers versus Giannis and the bucks
Well it's still a player rivalry which makes people want to watch.
I might be reaching on all my points. To be fair
I’m just trying to entertain this convo
It's like Ovi vs Crosby when it actually used to matter.
Yep, so maybe that’s part of it?
It's just nice to have the conversation because this is something I've noticed the last few years and wondering why it feels soulless at times minus my team winning.
I appreciate you not throwing out all of my points
I do think the lack of nastiness from an individual standpoint is probably the closest thing we will find, with hockey specifically. Every team wants a Tkachuk because he’s 1 of 1. In the 90s, every good team had 1
Pretty sad because there's
An insane amount of talent in the NBA
It's just one thing that never gets talked about when the NHL and ratings decline gets brought up. We can talk about the lack of marketing, blackouts, out of touch with modern taste. But I just think it's the lack of real intense player/team rivalries.
WNBA viewership increased like crazy since Clark joined the league
It’s an inherently mean and nasty sport but no real mean or nasty players (that are actually good hockey players too)
I'm starting to notice the NBA is doing awful marketing too. Not a good sign for the future.
This is major reason baseball and hockey has lost popularity in the last few decades.
To me it’s also so many of these guys have grown up playing with each other in like aau, high school, college
So it’s like hard to have any real animosity
Also guys idk just don’t seem to often be as psychotic as guys like bird magic Shaq Kobe and Jordan
I can’t help but think this is the key here. Our generation is not wired like that
Maybe the kids younger than us will be, but our generation just wasn’t raised like that
NBA marketing: OMG look at this big star player. Look at these highlights with music playing
That go so fast you can barely pay attention
Shitty ads
Yeah for sure
I like it more
Makes the nba more of a brotherhood
The shit those guys did is fucked up
But it was entertaining, it made people talk and want to watch the next matchup
Yeah. I think you can be friendly and still have compelling rivalries. The NFL wouldn't be making a lot of profits off Bills and Chiefs games if they didn't.
It’s also hilarious that the best player in the nba is a guy who plays with horses and doesn’t want a phone
For sure yeah
Idk the east is just too ass
There are some rivalries boiling upin the west though
Wolves thunder mavericks and nuggets going to be problems in the west
I can only say this from my perspective. It's hard to believe there's any real intensity or problem between teams when you often question if these guys take the regular season seriously or not. And then Adam Silver will try to force more gimmicks to 'attempt' to make it matter more
When curry LeBron and kd retire im gone
Players bitching and moaning about playing 65/82 games for awards
For the NBA. The players themselves also have to help fix it. I mean, they're GMs at this point, you might as well help the league too.
I wonder how far that will go when those sponsors want to go to the female counterpart and promote them.
The whole presentation of the nba sucks. The courts are bland, the jerserys suck, the atmosphere sucks. Regular season doesn’t matter to teams anymore. Sports betting, the increase in ads
I also don’t care for most of these new players enough to stick around when my favorites retire
Refs are also bad and soft as charmin.
Every league complains about refs but I haven’t seen ones as silly as nba ones
NFL and NBA ones really do impact how I feel watching games.
Because a ump can call a bad strike out. But they can't take away a double because the batter looked at the pitcher for too long running the bases.
NBA is the only league where I recognize refs and want to turn it off. Only other ref I know is angel Hernandez in baseball because he’s apparently that bad
Umps are just easier to see because they're always in frame.
They need to find a way for teams to take the regular season a bit more seriously
Whatever that may be
I like the in season tournament tbh
They tried with the in season tournament but the courts are ugly as sin and it lasts like a month
With load managing being what it is, they’ll never take it seriously
The best thing they can do is fix their horrid scheduling
They’ll have certain teams play like 3 times in a week or having days where there’s a singular game on
There’s no easy answer because it’s a players issue. Something like a in season tournament is a bandaid solution to a deeper problem
The sport itself is a flaw. It's unique because an individual or two can carry teams to good seasons. When it's great. It's great. But when it's not, and these guys are worth more than the teams they play on. It's rough. You live and die by that sword.
The courts are tough to look at that’s for sure
Yeah. Curry turned the warriors into one of the richest franchises in the world
It just looks to be getting worse…
More three point shooting is boring too
Watching the Celtics is annoying
The 15-16 warriors would be dead last in three point attempts per game this season
The team with a player who made 400 threes
There's one extreme solution, though. And it's a very dire one most fans will never get behind. Contraction of teams.
There’s many things you can point to yeah. I do think the player culture and “vibe” aren’t as encapsulating as previous eras. As much as certain people try to refute this, I do think the brand of basketball isn’t as engaging to watch. The talent in the league is so spread out now that there’s less of the “superstar” narratives to follow which was legitimately healthy for the league. Now every team has at least one super talented player if not more, but half of them just aren’t that interesting to follow and they all kind of mesh together. Then there’s things like officiating inconsistency and bs, all star games being unwatchable, marquee players doing bullshit flop and foul bait tactics etc.. it’s just not as tight of a product right now
The basketball game itself has a similar problem baseball has these days. Too much emphasis on 3-pointers with a lot of dead air like baseball with the long ball. I always compare it to a sugar rush. Lots of highs and then the crash happens.
Scores are higher than ever. But it often lacks the flow and continuity and can make it not very compelling to watch IMO.
They got issues for sure.
At least the Olympics were fun for basketball
All facts
Sets are too similar now
So many teams just do drive and kick, hunt matchups , pass around the perimeter, do pnr/pick and pop
It doesn’t help when players just bitch and moan all day long
Refs could really kick out a lot of guys way sooner
I wish the NBA would crack down on the lack of physicality in the game. Not go back to the headhunting of the 80s and 90s but a little physicality and defense would be a nice change of pace.
For sure
Defense in the nba blows
It’s either indivual defense or some attempt at 2-3/3-2 zone
Maybe some box and 1 but that’s about it
Defensive three seconds could be five second instead
And nba has to get rid of flops
And crack down on moving screens
Unfortunately, this is the lasting impact of the Malice at the Palace. The league got too soft.
Yeah for sure
Which I get but it’s been a while since then
New commissioner
Silver is alright but the nba could for sure do better
He has the personality of a wet napkin
I think the actions speak for itself. This pathetic In-Season Tournament.
It’s awful
The biggest question the NBA has tried but has no answer to is, 'How do you bring the passion back into the game?'
Pay players less
Like, you know, baseball had a solution to cut down on analytics and pace of game. The NBA simply has no answers for the boring style of play or the lack of any passionate team/player rivalries.
This is how we got the In-Season Tournament.
For sure. Ofc I’m not a basketball fan but the high scoring games are such a turnoff
Like Kimmy said , no defense. The reward of hitting a bucket is so flat
It's not high-scoring games that's the problem. It's just like baseball with the analytics and trying to get on base and hope to hit a 3 run homerun instead of playing small ball and creating rallies. It's about flow and continuity.
For sure
Right right I was just going to say something similar
The issue with analytics is that more possessions with bricks is extremely boring
And also some guys are just at hitting shots that aren’t supposed to be analytically sound in general
Yeah. It's like I said. I compare it to a sugar rush. You get the highs of highs and then you crash.
Maybe it’s not just the sport though
Like maybe there are factors outside of sport where the core audience of NBA fans just aren’t watching
Yeah. The lack of passion creates a snowball effect.
If there's no passion for these guys in the regular season. Then you can't have connections to these guys, you can't have compelling rivalries, which makes casuals not want to watch it.
People even in sports watch them for the storylines, the players playing it.
I also feel like the core nba audience is like .. teenagers and young men
And young men generally have other things to do than catch NBA games. This is a very interesting convo
And I’m totally willing to be wrong on everything btw
Let's put it this way. NASCAR was once a top 3 sport in the country in the 90s. Many loved Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Bill Elliott, and Rusty Wallace.
Nah you’re right, the older I get the less interested in the nba I am. Not to say I don’t watch, but I used to watch 5-6 separate games a week
I only watch the pistons now along with most of playoffs
Idk, for me, I just like the feeling of an upset being very possible. Hard to see those in 7 game series with how some teams are constructed (this is why the nhl is a bit even for me with my nba interest at this time in my life)
The western conference helped last year
The eastern conference doesn’t though😂
Doesn't help that with the amount of NBA games there are, it feels like it doesn't matter that much.
Playoffs get more interest
You know, sometimes that can be the case. But you also have to acknowledge that there's usually a middle ground.
The regular season doesn't feel interesting because the players sure don't look interested. So why should you?
I’m just speaking for me
I read what you said; I think that would be the majority opinion. So you hit the nail on the head there. Lack of passion in some aspects and the game is just different now. Not to say that’s bad…but it definitely isn’t for everyone
The amount of games shouldn't matter. In theory, every game should matter to making a top seed or even making the playoffs. But the players now will do these load management crap and it's like its stuff like that which makes people say it doesn't matter.
I don’t watch hockey outside the Rangers either.
So just thinking about it .. older men don’t watch as much because it’s “soft”. Young men don’t watch as much because they’re focused on careers, socializing, love life.
It could just be this whole mix of the league not being entertaining and society not being entertained enough to spend more time on it?
Think about it from an anime or manga perspective. Imagine thinking to yourself, "Well, this chapter doesn't matter. this arc doesn't matter, the build-up to this fight doesn't matter, I'll skip to that."
You'd sound crazy. But this is what the NBA is these days.
I remember getting excited for regular season matchups and nowadays I’m not even sure if the stars will be playing in them
Also- just consider the price to watch some of this shit these days😂
Prices going up and you’re not even sure if the player you want to watch is playing
I’m not an economist or anything like that, but I definitely know where most people cut costs during these times
Entertainment
Meanwhile a nap is free 🚬
These are factors. However, you have to look at the big picture. You pretty much said it. It's not as entertaining. The reason you only watch Ranger games is because it's what you believe is the only emotion you have to the game rn. I'm a Bolts/Flames fan but I couldn't give you a reason to care about Calgary. Why should you care about the Jets and Caps rn? Nothing about the sport feels big rn and that's the core of the problem. Not the style of play, simply elevating these stars and game will do so much for the sport.
The players nowadays are undeniably more talented but somehow this makes the nba more boring
In the nfl I watch not only for the players on my team but for the team as a whole and it’s enjoyable. Every game matters. But in the nba I’m watching more for single players and if that player isn’t playing I really wouldn’t even bother watching unless I was super die hard for the team
Not to mention matchups. I don’t care to watch the Knicks vs the hornets on a Tuesday night to be honest
If there's one thing I've learned from watching pro wrestling the last 8 years. Being more talented doesn't always equate to entertaining and compelling watches.
Yeah I feel like a lot of the skill sets overlap and players become less unique/specialized
There are exceptions of course
It's always gonna come down to the style of play. The style of play in the NBA where everyone is shooting 3s is not compelling no matter the skill level
Doesn't matter how great Steph Curry is at it. It's not fun to watch game by game
And then have a bunch of clones try to copy it.
at least with the warriors dynasty, they implented an elite basketball system to generate looks. The motion, screens, and movement make it entertaining to watch. Teams don’t do this
Celtics drive and kick out three or Tatum or brown side step three
They make them at a high clip which is why they’re successful but it’s boring to watch
I find it funny college football is the one major American sport that can’t figure out the playoffs. At least that I know of
Idk how college baseball does it
IDK if you watch much hockey. But in the 90s early 2000s. The New Jersey Devils had this style of play called the Trap. It basically prevented players from passing through the neutral zone and to force turnovers. The problem was despite being successful, it was very boring to watch. And then everyone tried to use that system which made the league boring to watch. The difference here is the NHL fixed that problem after the 04 lockout. What can the NBA do about this style of play? Not many options unless you allow some physicality back into the game.
I don’t watch much hockey but that does sound similar to the 3point revolution the warriors pioneered
NBA won’t do jack about it though
NBA loves the “we will enforce this for a week at the start of the season” and then never care about it again
To be fair though probably every league does this
I don’t think there’s anything anyone can do to stop the increase in 3 point shooting though
I firmly believe the NFL should allow every team to pick one designated PED user who is exempt from testing each season.
if that were the case, which player would your team pick?

To me first round being five games is better
Anyone but Slovakia
So wait what happens with Greece
Better beer than the Americans
I'm still thinking about the Slovak guy at the jazz club
"No no your beer is very bad. I will make you recommendation"
Playoffs against a team that finished 3rd in A league
If you win you're promoted
If not stay in B
2 legs
I'm more scared because Kvara and our captain are out
+2 other starters
Idk if I want to be in A tbh
A is frightening
So we can get Croatia, Italy, Denmark, or Netherlands
I’m happy there are few soldiers still in this world
Literal nuclear grade chad energy
Should be me
The fucking list killed me
I should've asked him his thoughts on Greek beer
Alfa supremacy
How was Mika yesterday btw? Flash in the pan or on the right track back to form? Too early to tell?
Dexter Lawrence told me that Daboll went to him before the DeVito move asking him his opinion. Dabes explained his thought process and Dex understood it. Dex said it was a smart move by Dabes because the move could have lost the locker room .
Dex said the locker room is tight
@torn gale @robust grotto
Dex is team leader
It’s hard to disagree ngl
Yeah I was happy to see his effort
Good
De Da De Da
My glorious king Dexter Lawrence
All we need now is King Dedede.
Leader of the team for sure
I can't believe they did my boy Daniel Jones so dirty
He had once in a generation potential
"without any natural talent" LMAOOO
this guy is using avg ft twitter talking points srsly
People have convinced themselves that Ronaldo for some reason had 0 talent and that Messi did everything without having to train
Really refreshing to hear this from a former player. NHL has a huge issue in their front offices .. the best way to get a job is not by climbing up the ladder but by being a former player. It’s just not right
Every sport the GMs are usually nerds, guys who worked their ways from the bottom to the top. Meanwhile NHL is just like “oh you played here, please take this job”
Christian ronaldo had no talent huh. Ig that means i can be the worlds best player
ronaldo put a hatrick on his head and he's just crying since then
Can't think of a player that is great just purely from hard work, no talent
Think we had this convo before @short flame
Wait is ronaldo playing in the world cup
Said he wants to
Oof
I don’t think that’s possible. I think the closest we got when we had the convo was Traoré and he’s not great
