Im going to debate if tanking even works. The Chiefs had a first overall pick on their first SB team, but argurable the five or 6 most important players were all achieved without tanking. The rams traded their first overall pick as sort of leftover in their SB run.

Like the Steelers have been mid for the longest time but their biggest issue has been the most difficult position in sports. The organization staying with Ben wayy too long and not drafting a replacement on the most ideal timetable for the team has been the biggest issue. I fail to see how tanking fixes that besides the mental shock of a 2-15 season
