Cowboys will never win during Jerry’s tenure
To be fair I’m sure some of those pats division games cost money
What’s the one constant in this cowboys drought ? That’s right
Jerry
It’s not always good if people know so much about your owner , the results usually don’t speak well
I mean we know who Kraft is , but that’s different : eventually you are gonna find out who the owner is if they keep winning
I don’t think the problem is Jerry doesn’t want to win the Super Bowl, I disagree with that
The issue is he will refuse to let anyone else take the credit for doing so, rendering Super Bowl secondary by extension
Lol no sympathy
Interesting
More than that. Kraft is a bastard about ticket prices
I am never going to a Pats home game
If anything I'll watch em at Lumen
But not this year because we are playing the Seahawks at home and we won't go their til 2028
just go to metlife rofl
you can watch the pats own the jets
fucking raptors
ofc they waive a guy who has respiratory issues who they just drafted
That would require being in Jersey
And I don't wish for that ever
The Mayfield Browns beef is so crazy
whats the beef?
Traded him for a convicted rapist
Beef. I see it more as more Cleveland Skidmark goodness
Phenomenal
lol jimmy haslem is the Tua of owners what did we expect
That’s giving Jimmy too much credit
Waiting for the day he goes back to firing GMs and HCs a year after being hired
i am amazed Stefanski cleaned house
@last crater heard u were a massive Nunez fan lad
yeah saw him play under Benfica against LFC

That’s average, can’t be far from last weeks average tbh
yeah I’m sure it isn’t too far off. The demand is there so
https://vxtwitter.com/leafswave/status/1747702994575982716?s=46&t=0dPhD14zL5uzVVpeHRQMfQ lmaoo damn, mini Matthews crushing it at the world famous west Edmonton mall

U seen the lineup for today? @sweet tree
ye
I dont think roque is fit to start yet
bro looks so scared on the ball lmao
true but I rather he play here than in la liga
also nice for guiu
getting a start again
I really like giving guiu a chance
bro has deserved it
bring on Lewa, gundo, Pedri if needed
Let’s be honest it’s gonna be a 1 goal victory or loss 💀
it'll probably be a scrappy win like the last game
idk how we conceded 2 that day
It was from a corner kick iirc
oh yea
tbf that corner kick was offside lol
and one of our goals were wrongly called offside lol
small teams not having VAR makes sense but still lol
true I remember that
there's no var in this
Felix scored a banger too smh
he’s deserved a start today
hopefully he scores
as much as I hate on raphinha sometimes, bro actually hustles and ends up on score sheets
he does the job usually, whether that's scoring or getting assists he's a reliable forward for the most part.
unlike ferran who has no end product
only time he is useful is off the bench
how unlucky is Brazil to produce two of the fakest Brazilians at RW during the same time
they both cannot beat their man
raphinha is useful in other ways though at least
yeah he's just not a dribbler really
going from dembele to raphinha is crazy
they both lacked what the other guy is missing
but like i said, raphinha actually scores and assists lol
yea if u combine them, you have the best winger in the world lol
dembele tho was a better passer / playmaker
basically Salah
just can't finish for shit
the thing is he SEEMED like a better passer/playmaker
but raphinha ends up with more assists
esp his crosses from bottom of box
that's reliant on the forward scoring
dembele generates a lot of better passes into the half space
dembele had Messi for a lot of years so idk lol
raphinha had a good lewa for one year lol
I remember a stat where raphinha goal/assist won us 13 pts alone last szn lol
esp since so many games we won were 1-0 lol
yeah he's a good crosser for the most part
if only bro could dribble past his dude
I think most of his assists are usually crosses
he does it once a game but it leads to a corner lol
too late for that now, I think that's just something you learn early on
don't think he could improve his dribbling
yea he’s in his mid 20s
bro ain’t improving
but he’s still pretty useful for us
him and gavi press like 100 percent of the time
yeah I do admire his defensive workrate
you can deffo notice the team missing gavi's presence, the dude was an insane presser & recovered a ton of balls
most of our midfielders aren't as good defensively
Bill Belichick, Russell Wilson Let Ride
Bill with Russell???
just a theory
Aw hell naw
Russ can go ride along in Denver
i refuse to believe he would prefer mac jones / bailey zappe to Russell
If he joins the Falcons tho I low-key think he is gonna want to one up Brady
thats what im saying
Belichick / Wilson with a running game , good receivers , weak division
"look Tom I can go to an NFC south team and be successful like you did"
Nah please I don’t want to watch wilson ngl
lol why is that
Wilson is the perfect Falcons qb
I don’t like him
Bro your team literally has Daniel Jones
Indeed
hes a giants fan
I know
I live near Atlanta so I root for them when I can
Trust me I know
im a seahawks fan
Ahh you do what I do with the Seahawks
Yeah
Ye
lol you don't have to worry i don't see Russell going to Atlanta
he don't want his wife near Future 🤣
You know who I see
Barca down
Kirk Cousins
i don't see kirk cousins leaving the vikings
like why would he, hes gonna get a bag there
Yeah, but it depends on Bill and the Falcons talent
Idk
It aint for sure but it'd make sense to me
vikings offense is more tailor made for kirk
I agree
But I am just saying
It isn't exactly implausible
And makes some sense
can't lie that's a crazy volley
Especially with Bill. Dude hasn't had an athletic qb ever
kirk cousins is coming off an ACL
Yeah?
and hes not that athletic
oh i thought you meant this would be the first time he got an athletic qb
Can’t forget about the cam newton patriots era in the
Remember that time he went back to carolina and had one good return game
he has one left in em
its like When bryce had one good game when he played against CJ stroud
🤣 nah jk i ain't gonna do bryce like that
i think he has to leave the panthers and maybe go to the bucs or seahawks to succeed
to atleast see if hes that good
What is this Barca performance? @sweet tree
it's 1-1
Cam was washed his shoulder was done for
not good but games not over tbh
ferass on the score sheet
kinda expected a scrappy game against these low division sides
Damn the moment I said something they scored
Funny timing
https://vxtwitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/1748054895872073915 @fleet orbit @smoky fable
Makes sense ! Personally I don’t think the bears have made a decision I think they are gonna take their time
Giants might just be my second favorite team just for this move alone
Wow I had my arms open for you to join the met fandom and everything bro
KOUNDE HOLY SHSHSHSHS
that's a rocket
🚀
that's the balde that we should be seeing, lovely goal as well
Gotta dunk on the Dodgers more
And maybe not be from New York
Okay I’ll learn
Not surprised really
It’d be amazing if he won with them
You mean like a team that is super popular, but always chokes?
Yankees probably
Yeah but also the reputation of being hated my most
Nah I respect the Yanks more than I do the cowboys
Begrudgingly the Yankees 😞
He is right
I would say the Dodgers
Butttttttttttrr
Zerbin 2 goals in 2 mins
They have won the Pennant numerous times
Alright man
I totally see how the Yankees fit that bill
Something the yanks haven’t done since 09
And if you count 2020 🐭 ring
The Dodgers won the World Series fairly recently
wait where's this being played at
@sacred kite to answer your question, and as much as I hate to admit it, the Yankees are the Cowboys of the MLB 😭
Super cup
Yeah I can see it
it's in Saudi
Salah injured and Kudus goal
Oh you mean that
Phillies World Series sweep this year though ahahaaaa
All in the space of a few minutes
Yeah in Saudi
so they get to host Spanish Supercopa and Italian Supercoppa
Yeah...
Salah was fighting with the ref earlier
Wait
Will Fifa give liverpool money?
for what
I doubt it
If Salah is injured injured
Looked like his hamstring
hopefully it's not bad

@rustic mountain
I am conflicted
Yeah I think so too
A week or so back I saw SEC schools are slowly drawing crowds in hockey. Don’t be shocked if places like Florida end up being hockey schools soon
Is that the ducks?
No! College - university of Oregon
a gator hockey jersey tho????
Sheeeeh would be sicm
Sick
Oh yeah dude I’ll show you
This one is current
Actually fucking sick
I want those blue ones
I wish they sold college hockey jerseys Id be buying so many
It looks good apart from the teeth specially the socks
Yeah it is a little much
My favorite of the bunch too man
I like the Seahawks and broncos one
The neon greens are absolutely atrocious
I’m biased towards matching pants and shirts though
Muk c’mon now!!!!
It is but those brothers are highlighters
I can't stand matching it's so plain to me or just an eyesore
I like contrast, I like compliments
As a highlighter eater I enjoy looking at them
I don’t like matching pants and shirts. It looks like it’s a one piece costume
Holy based Batman
Love this lol
Making history
and i dont think a single one is a long term starter
All of them are decent bench guys
Pickett and corral are just meh. Willis, Howell and ridder can go off but lack any sort of consistency
In fairness to Howell
He showed several brilliances with an awful o line and mediocre recieving options
he had his moments
I'm gonna reveal my fav Arsensl players
21 TDs and 21 Ints is kind of a funny statline, tho not all of the ints were on him
The one I actually watched play, so I don't want to pick Henry, Vieira and etc
he was also the most sacked i believe in the regular season, which some of that was on him
My fav player since I started watching Arsenal was and still is Alexis
for a backup I think he's alright
yeah I think I enjoyed alexis the most at Arsenal
RVP and Ozil were good too
No disrespect to Ozil
But Sanchez was so good
Ozil was one of the best players itw when he's arsed
Ramsey is up there too
Auba & Laca duo was alright too for a bit
He should still be replaced
Maye, Williams are better
Yeah, you should be excited for Maye or Williams
Some bears fan called people who aren’t about keeping fields braindead
I’m not gonna lie some bear fans suck

You’d have to be really dumb to go insulting fans outside their teams home stadium
Dude tree was like a kid on Christmas watching the cowboys lose
It’s Christmas for all non cowboys fans
Especially cuz the Bucs aren’t even a hated fanbase
Like I said Carolina might become Washington
Don’t you think we’ve made fun of Dallas enough?
No? Me either !
Right call? Maybe
The problem is if you dump Tua you are hoping you immediately get someone better or tell your team you’re entering a rebuild, in which case you kiss Tyreek goodbye
The dolphins are in cap debt
Don't tell DX
Dolphins Lions and Commanders have suffered more than the cowboys bears and Vikings
At least the bears have a Super Bowl appearance in my life , the Vikings make a couple playoff appearances and the cowboys still have a rich history
You'll have to forgive me for not really caring about the plight of the dolphins
Also commanders if you wanna include all their history used to be a VERY good team
Same as the Cowboys early 90s
To mid 90s
Last sb win I believe was 91
I think the Browns, Vikings, Jets, Bears are fine
Cowboys they are always near the title games just not in it
Lions Id probably put there
There was a couple seasons in Bearsland where Cutler at least got you to a title game
At least the bears can hang their hat on an nfc championship in my life
Idk I would say bears top 10, and good lord has it been hard , but I wouldn’t say top 5
What about the cardinals ? Good lord
Top 10 I ahree
Agree
Cards would be in the top 10 too
If I had to make a list of the top 10, hmmm. Lemme think
My 5 would be:
Dolphins
Jets
Browns
Lions
Commanders
The commanders have had a toxic destructive ownership situation where every season is exhausting
Dolphins are in the top 10 to me but not top 5
Idk man, they haven’t won a playoff game since 2000 and no super bowls since the early 70s
I’m not saying you as a pats fan need to have sympathy , but that’s rough
Like I don’t feel bad for the Vikings
I know I just think that part of it is they ran into a hard time with Brady for 20 something years
And it continued it’s just now it’s Josh Allen
There's a vacuum of time where Phins Jets and Bills kinda got the shaft
Allen has only lost to the dolphins once
Half because of their own incompetence tho
Ah so he is to the Dolphins what Brady was to the Bills
Man do I miss those days
But either way
I do think the Dolphins are suffering
Idk about top 5 but they are indeed
Id put Carolina just outside the top 10 tbh
If it’s strictly the past 20 years alone I would put the dolphins right there with browns and lions
If it's the past 20 years then sure I agree
Lol Lions winning 1 game shouldn’t remove them from the list imo
I agree
Lions should def be in there
Carolina at least got to have Cam , and have some fun with that
Them and Minnesota for sure
Past 20 years give me the Browns, Lions, Dolphins, Jets, and Raiders
Vikings fans do have it real hard
Raiders have had it hard but Washington , I mean yikes
The dolphins also couldn’t get Marino a Super Bowl
Rest in peace
Indeed
NFL really just has their obvious poverty franchises lol
Tbf all sports leagues do
I guess every league yeah
But the nfl has a more likely chance to finally get out of it than say the nba or mlb
I guess you can’t hide from it in football
Nfl you can change it
Like you only play 17 games. so many people watch, check fantasy, etc
as a bears fan, yeah we’ve had it hard . Top 5 tho? I don’t think so
Nba you better hope a good player is on your team and he is friends with another 2 good players
Oh and be in California
I still believe I will be alive when the bears hold a Lombardi again
I still have hope
We should draft a qb
If I am if and when the Pats do it again cool
Fields is mid
For all we know the pats could suck the next few years and make a comeback
For all we know Mayo could be god awful and we draft the wrong dude
Idk I am just along for the ride
I’m sure those pats fans who suffered before they finally won the first thought it was all worth it
Pats were a poverty franchise
For ever
They were , so were the Bucs , and the saints
It’s possible to break out and get there
The cubs winning the World Series was unreal
If the fucking cubs can get their act together , there’s hope the bears can find a way
It's up to your patriots on whether or not they get him
If the patriots get a vet qb, might as well get all the patriots edits on
@haughty moss
Mayo already hinted we are looking at qb
I deeply hope so
I can't see us passing on a qb
If the Bears go Williams
And Commanders go Mahe
Maye
I expect us to go Daniels
I’m starting to think the bears will draft Williams or maye
I can't see you guys going "hey let's do MHJ for Fields"
Im not a Justin fields hater but im not paying him premium qb money for stats and performance this is kinda …. Eh
I like Fields. Not a franchise qb tho
I think a team can get to the playoffs with fields but I think one and done is what would happen
He would need to take a huge leap next year and I just dont see it happening
And you got Caleb on the board. Caleb potentially changes the face of the Bears
You need to have a qb who can hit the intermediate throws . You know , your slants , your crossing routes , your throws in the flats
Fields isn’t very good at any of that
Fields is compared to Lamar but all the type of throws i listed Lamar is very good at
ok Falcons Fans this is a saving move
I just don't see Bill going with Russ
Say Caleb or maye (can’t dismiss it ) isn’t what the bears need , it’s not like the bears spend 40 million a year
I don’t see Russell Wilson as a Belichick style QB. Kirk cousins might be a better veteran
if Caleb isn't what the bears need, ooof thats gonna be a rough one
I said this earlier man
the reason i say Russell because , cheaper / talent is more suited for a run first team
But will they be run first with Bill
its not going to be purely run first, shane isn't a run first coach
although to be fair I’m not sure what the Vikings are gonna do about Kirk
During the Brady era we had one of the most prolific passing offenses ever
They have gotten 1 playoff win out of that relationship
Bills job is to make the defense dominant which they have a lot of pieces
So it's hard to know
Idk. I think the Falcons with Bill would be one of the most interesting turn of events
Wilson takes too many sacks , and I know Belichick valued o line and not letting drives stall out due to sacks for loss
But say the falcons actually traded for fields would bill coach that style of player
I have zero clue
Like I said , I think you can build a playoff team with fields on it but I don’t think fields can get you through the playoffs
Tbh I still think Bill just wants to get that record and MAYBE
Try to get a ring to prove that Brady wasn't what defined him
I don’t feel he needs to prove that
Brady had a reliable defense because of bill and it made both their jobs easier on eachother
Yes but Bill hears all the shit said about him
They made eachother better
I don’t think the issue is his coaching he’s no longer with NE because he stopped drafting well
Bill will want to erase the doubt
Oh I agree
I just know Bill. He was my coach forever, Ive watched many behind the scenes things etc etc
Dude is the very meaning of football knowledge and memory but he also is petty
Very. Petty.
I wonder why he hasn’t wanted to go to the chargers with Herbert
The pats coordinators mostly need to stay that
Josh mcdaniels should be shipped to Afghanistan in a box
@hollow wind did you see the hire
For what it's worth BoB was decent at Bama
we can ignore what he did with us this year
I’ll consider it a win
Alright all these franchises need to be told 10000000 times
Do not hire pats coordinators as your coach
Hey now hey now
Don't hire Belichick coordinators
It is a NEW DAY HERE
We even avoided that
Mayo technically wasn't a coordinator
OWEN TIPPETT OH MY GOODNESS 😱
💖 106 🔁 22
At worst mayo sucks and they try again , such is life in the nfl
May have? Lol that has to be qb
@rustic mountain was finishing up something but back to my point, i think it will work out.
i think bill only cares if the offense isn't a turnover machine
Fields has had 9 or more picks every year
Fields number of picks isn’t always the problem it’s that he’ll throw them in the redzone
fair
I just feel bad because I wanted fields to be it but I think we’re moving on and we should
Russell is top 5 in the league in redzone passing stats
and he was benched for 2 games
i think it makes too much sense. Fields makes sense talent wise but idk i really don't think him and bill will mesh
- you have to remember fields is up for a Big contract
how long is bill gonna coach? i tihnk one he gets shulas record he will retire. Russell will at most play for 2-3 years max
@fleet orbit grizzlies vs timerbwolves is turning out pretty good

@robust grotto ESR to West Ham
Looks like a loan
Good deal for you guys
He’s better than Havertz
I’m not crazy that the two guys were linked to have recent injury issues, ESR and Phillips, but I very much understand going for those two players
ESR injury issues are bizzare tbh
I don’t even think he’s hurt
We never get an update with what’s wrong with him
If he is fit you guys are gonna love him
Hmm, people have been saying the same with Phillips, the guy just isn’t getting picked. We also have an issue with lack of Englishmen so again, I get it
Or rather we will have a future issue
Cresswell, Ings, Johnson on the fringes / the way out. I’ll def take those two boys, it seems like shrewd business
Yeah I don’t think Philips is injury prone he just had Rodri in front of him
England still play him
That makes me feel a lot better
I don’t think he’s better than Alvarez tho
JWP and Soucek are like oil and water bro
So might just be for depth
I’m guessing you’ll use esr as a winger but he’s comfortable in the middle
Like kudus and jwp
Imo yeah
I’d like to see Paq more center BUT Paq and Emerson have a phenomenal link up on that left side
In theory you could do Bowen high, and then play around with some combo of Paq, Kudus, ESR behind him
Not many people are. But Philips still is a decent player

So is there a chance or has Arsenal said no?
But it says 0%
No means no

I feel like Washington just needs a focused team that doesn’t have drama raining on them every time . Their fans have been put through a lot
Not to Deshaun watson!

- @AmyTrask doesn’t put Purdy in the same category as the other remaining QB’s in the playoffs….
💖 101 🔁 21

Bait or stupidity
The assumption is that Brock is carried by their team because there’s no way someone picked that late in the draft can be successful
Not realizing he might be the difference between coming close to the Super Bowl and winning it
Jimmy G was holding the Niners back , and Trey must not have been that great if he’s riding the pine in Dallas
If he doesn’t turn the ball over , maybe this is the year
The commissioner of my fantasy league wishes the bears had Watson. He says if the bears trade fields he’ll never be a fan again
Can they just trade fields so this idiot doesn’t talk anymore ?
This same guy also said Tyrod Taylor was given a bad deal and is a good qb
Our commissioner has a fucking potato for a brain
I wish a prison cell had Watson
Me too
Now firstly , this whole “ always believe women” issue isn’t the issue . Sometimes people lie
But how likely is it 20+ woman conspired to form a witch hunt against one man?
See giants and bears fans have had similar issues but damn I wish we had an Eli . Sure sometimes he played poorly and did stupid things , but he was dependable and for 2 playoff runs he was on a heater
What makes me sad is that the bears current offseason situation is so exciting , but I just want to get it over with because you can imagine bears fans are a divided house over this
The browns literally need top 3 QB play to justify that contract
On the field
Off the field there’s no justification
How tf is baker better than purdy???????
Drunk
Cooking
Off the field that mfer should be living with magdellan
Cross Guild has choose to free either Watson and Doffy
Man the Sirianni firing train is going strong and idk why
If he fails again next season I’d say yeah maybe it’s time to toss him
The eagles have high standards
Honestly I would often rather talk to fans of other teams about the bears situation than bears fans
My very close friend tho whose a football coach has a good approach to the discussion, he thinks of scheme
Yeah true, it’s a good thing when there’s so much talent on the team
Hey why not get them to coach da bears
He’d run a good scheme
Im in a discord with friends and me him and his brother are the only ones who watch football and no one else
The bears are more likely to get their act together than the bulls
He’ll be as good as the best bull of all time someday…. Brian scalabrine
THE WHITE MAMBA????
Hell yeah, I loved having Scal
I miss that bulls team, the ending was sad but it was fun seeing a bulls team make me feel that happy
I think the word Bay is triggering for them
The greatest play in Buccaneers history. Period.
Eh. IDK. Scotty Miller's catch in the 2020 NFC title game is up there too.
NFL Conference Championship | Buccaneers vs Packers
It’s cowboy day at work and the urge to make a Dallas cowboys joke has been there
any breaking news?
BREAKING: My team is still out of the playoffs
Breaking news : the bears fanbase is not on the same page
That was the best one yet
Breaking News: Tampa Bay is still the King of Football in Florida.

what do they want Justin Fields
They want BEARS FOOTBALL!!
It’s a split . Some people think the capital is worth too much to draft a Caleb or a Drake maye, some think fields will never get us there
Personally I’m starting to lean trade fields and keep the pick but I think both sides have a compelling argument
Fields has no arguments.
So you’re in the trade fields draft a Qb camp?
Justin FIelds is just a more explosive version of Daniel Jones. Tell me where I'm wrong.
I know this sounds mean. But, this is how I see it. There's people who are right and there's people who are wrong.
You're wrong
No U.
Pay Justin 40 mil a year
LOL what do you mean capital, its literally 1 Pick
He’s not

They’re saying you would get even more picks and a massive haul for it
Justin is actually prime Mike Vick

You guys just don't see the vision
I’m gonna get shit for this but Vick might be the most overrated QB of all time
they have 2 first round picks. Man if eberfluse gotta take an entire haul again just to make the playoffs. Then there is something wrong
Elite vision, baybee
The dude was all style no substance
maybe CJ stroud is making them rethink because hes also an ohio state qb
Fields would die for any kind of Observation Haki.
You guys don't have the vision he does to see that there is clearly a 12th invisible defender in that zone, ready to pick him off. Dang football casuals...

Sam “I’m seeing ghost” Darnold
Fields will sustain a great drive and than throw a back breaker in the red zone
Mhj is a special talent but the problem is if you draft a superstar reciever and you can’t build a really good team , you get the Vikings
It's a similar argument I made about Daniel Jones. He makes a lot of great throws, but he also makes a bunch of shitty ones too. That's the point. A lot of QBs in the NFL can make great throws. But there's also a lot who can make great throws that can't play for shit. Same for Fields.
The problem is the bears get overly attached to QBs
Grossman, Cutler, Mitch, Fields. And then the fans get too attached and begin living in a bubble. Bear fans on social media make my head hurt.
The same guy whose calling anti jf1 people brain dead also said the bears have proven a strong defense and run game can win it , it’s in their culture
BEARS FOOTBALL
But a Super Bowl in 1985 with one of the best defenses of all time with Walter Payton is not indicative of where the franchise heads almost 40 years later
The bears culture and identity needs a overhaul
its ok we might be the same. A superbowl in 2013 with the best defense of all time and Marshawn Lynch
That’s why I’m saying draft a young QB , doesn’t have to be Caleb
Even BEARS FOOTBALL!! thinking was flawed back then.
Nothing like wasting the career of Dick Butkus.
But Seattle has consistently stayed at least competitive , the bears have one winning season since Lovie got fired
are the owners poor?
The bears owners ?
ya
Oh the Bears sure act poor when going through the coaching process.
i just find it hard to believe that a storied franchise like the bears can suck ass for so long
unless the Owners are a bunch of a poors
The Lions are also a storied franchise and have sucked for most of people's lives until recently.
thats true but i don't think its at the same level
The bears pipeline bought the team for 100 bucks in 1923 , one of the rare cases of a ownership whose wealth is predominantly tied for owning a team
When you really see the mentality of the franchise , it doesn’t look as surprising
Even if it's not the Lions. The Cards are also as old as the Bears and only in the 2010s was their best stretch in franchise history
i think if you look at coaching salaries right now i honestly think thats the only reason eberfluse made it @fleet orbit
i actually think they can't afford harbaugh , bill etc
I don’t get how , there are very few franchises that are worth as much money as the bears
The Bears can afford coaches. They just choose to act poor.
It's the Chicago sports way
Bears tickets are like 200 dollars plus when the bears haven’t been very good at all
Why is it not more scrutinized ? Because what city are the bears from?
3rd largest market in the country and almost every team in that area plays the small market game.
Chicago. And Chicago kicks ass , I love@chicago . But the fact that they are Chicago’s team means they are called a team with large history and tradition
I know they’ve been dead for 10+ years
Imagine if the Bears actually wanted to play Green Bay Packer Football for once. Suddenly, "Hey, we can be winners in today's game"
Still a little sad to see SI decimated. They actually got caught using fake authors a year or two back
If the bears did the packer thing right , i would be happy
I think the best tradition comes from winning
I used to wish the bears could be more like some of those 2000s Steelers teams
its time for the great insights of John Doe , and Becky Charmichle our GPT extraordinare
Just amazing how Bears fans hold onto BEARS FOOTBALL!! like it means anything. I sure never encouraged the Bucs to play Buccaneer Football. Because I knew for most of my fandom that Bucs Football represented sucking and mediocre football
Check out this crazy article by Firstname Lastname
I don’t want to have to feel reserved and like sometimes I’d rather watch red zone than bears games
I want the team to stomp on people and win
guys we are in a crazy time. Soon their gonna do swimsuit edition with fake humans
AI needs to be stopped.
How to trigger a fanbase. PUT A DOME ON THE BEARS STADIUM!
I would personally rather be a non dome team but I wouldn’t hate a dome
Move the jets to New York City
The area would make a lot more money if they could actually host a Final 4, a Wrestlemania.
But no, BEARS FOOTBALL!!
Move the bears to china
maybe they will start winning lol their obviously not getting any advantage 🤣
Problem solved
The Chinese bears
But then the packers can’t own them
Logo is now a panda
How tragic
Time to put a tarp on it
Tua can sling it in Miami but China? No guarantees man
Tua better learn Atlantanese
Tua TagopickoverHerbert
No their best game was the beat down in Chicago
If the bears play in a dome and they start winning , im@cool with that
Look, I still think there is a place for defense. I am a defense guy , it’s in my bears fan blood, but I want an offense that cooks other teams
The product on the field and in the eye test is an eyesore
Solider Field was always bad. So bad in fact, that over 20 years ago. A spaceship took a dump all over it.
The worst part is the capacity
How does a Chicago stadium have the lowest capacity
It’s Chicago
Go play at my old college , NIU, dekalb bears
If they suck on defense, they will lose. However, great offense is what wins more rings
In the modern nfl
I’d rather have a top offense and a good defense than the other way around
I’m not worried about the defense this offseason . The bears are building a solid defense
Bears fans are not comfortable with this but I am accepting of a change like that . A lot of fans know how it is : it’s depressing to not win
Defense wins championships propaganda in today's NFL, man. You'll have people tell me how much the Bucs defense won the SB against the Chiefs. While conveniently leaving out that the Bucs offense scored 31 points. The defense was a great thing, yeah. But it didn't singlehandedly won them the SB
I haven’t seen a team Carry a carcass of a qb to the finish line since the broncos
And that barely counts because mannings leadership still was influential to the team
Defense is cheaper
Even the Broncos SB. The defense carried a lot, I also think the Panthers choked a little. But 24 points were also scored by the Broncos.
The bears should try and build like the ravens and Steelers during the late 2000s / early 2010s
The Seahawks win against the Broncos. I consider that more the Peyton Choke Bowl then saying the defense won the day.
Idk the legion of boom was insane
It doesn't fit the narrative
So easier to say offense choke than give credit to the defense
The Broncos also had the highest-scoring offense that year. And here you have noodle arm Manning making terrible reads, etc
Still convinced that if the bears had even an average qb against the colts they win the Super Bowl
But alas , I can’t invent a Time Machine
And I am convinced we would have 7 rings if Caldwell wouldnt have dropped passes in the 06 title game and we got to play Bad Rex
That’s what’s hard . Even teams like the patriots have missed opportunities
There's things to talk about the defense. The Broncos OL could block for shit that game. But Peyton was always talked about how great of a field general he was. But the moment his team did shit, it was everyone else fault but his.
Literally starts with the ball going over his head. Instead of trying to establish a rhythm early on, here you have Peyton doing all this crap at the line when the crowd is roaring and it causes a mistkae
I think also that defense schematically was prepared too. Peyton was known for reading the defense pre snap but Seattles defensive coaching that game was really good
The bears have never had a top 10 qb in the nfl
That would make a lot of sense, if Peyton didn't make this such a trend in his legacy.
Tom Brady is literally so good that it honestly raised the standards of greatness astronomically , because even though NE has some missed opportunities, it was way less than other teams
Even the Steelers who at one point were elite alot have more
As for manning I think his biggest missed opportunity was honestly the saints game
And it's weird considering Brady really didn't have a lot of elite tools in his game. He was picked late for a reason. But he had the ability to win games when it mattered most.
He just had the brain and scanned the playbook like a robot
And yeah. That Saints game. Peyton staring down his receiver right into the hands of Porter.
The one thing I don’t necessarily get is the whole teams fucked up since Brady was drafted so late
Hindsight is 20/20. He was physically not that fit or imposing , he ran a o lineman 40, and he was at one point at the bottom of the depth chart
You never truly know
Peyton had some backbreaking picks . Saints ironically won due to Favre throwing one a week prior
I always hear this hindsight crap. Like. that's any business. Your job is to be "able" to make as many good to great decisions as you can, so you can look back in hindsight.
I guess I just didn’t see what the patriots could’ve seen that made them@assume Brady would become Brady
I think Brady was the only person who believed it
That was a simple happenstance. Because Bledsoe got that extension not too long before that injury. Sometimes you need luck.
Niners looking to also be that team too.
Brock is very good
The Packers picked Love with purpose. I liked a lot about his game in college.
Then you have BEARS FOOTBALL!! trading up to pick Mitch and me going, "Wut?"
Mitch was a hall of famer in a different timeline
In a different timeline, the Niners have Mahomes and have at least 2 SBs rn.
in a different time line, we ran it at the 1 yard line
And fumbled.
The Niners timeline is so weird . They’ve had so many great playoff runs , and beat the guy who they didn’t draft multiple times@but what if they had him
Mitch didn’t have the footwork , he was jittery and anxious in the pocket
The only legit argument left for Purdy is he hasn't shown me yet that he can lead his team to a win late in an important game.
What if it doesn’t come ?
And now the same bears fan had a Niners take : if fields was their QB, he’s mvp
What a dick rider
Jimmy G was so bad with the raiders oh my lord
This is the healthiest I’ve seen the Niners in the playoffs
Jimmy Garbage Pail has always been an overrated QB that Niners fans for awhile would defend and tell me how much the Niners win with him when his competition was Nick Mullins and CJ fucking Beathard
He was the reason they lost to the rams
Like, the moment he sucks in Vegas, Woah. What a shocker
Jimmy G wasn't the guy the moment he missed Sanders late in the SB.
Kaepernick was good for a few years but he got predicable and defenses zoned in
I can’t say the Niners win the Super Bowl for sure but I think they win this weekend
It's funny how narratives work sometimes. If a team is crap years after missing a QB, they're mocked for a long, long time. But when the team makes the same mistake and wins, suddenly, it's all about hindsight and context. Like, fuck off.
The Niners have had some misses in the draft for sure
The Niners actually whiffed the same@draft the bears whiffed on Mitch and with Trey lance
In hindsight they should’ve drafted Rodgers too
Missing Mahomes and trading for Jimmy G near the deadline in 2017. Boy how did that work out for them.
Like, that's something that's never gonna get brought up enough. The Niners picked Jimmy G over Mahomes.
Well it’s not brought up because the bears took the brunt of the criticism
But since the Niners are winners, it's only more convenient to bring up the Bears mistake.
When in reality, the Niners should be hurting more from that miss then the Bears.
They got Purdy. But there's no certainty he wins a SB. He might make it this year, doesn't mean he'll win it.
This Niners team will not be there forever , so they better get one while he’s on a rookie contract
And man, John Lynch. Bucs legend. And has brought in so much talent. But that's the funny thing that he has done so much and also has produced a lot of shit.
The Niners have the fortune of being a team with a chance to redeem themselves
A lot of teams fucks up have set them back ages besides the 49ers
Sometimes you need luck.
Just like a lot of shit teams have a lot of bad luck. The Jets
I don’t think bad luck is all the jets predicament is
The jets of the Rex Ryan era had 2 really good teams . Great defense run game and o line, but the passing offense tanked those teams and they didn’t fix it
Yeah. But when you make the right decision once in awhile and BAM an injury. BAM! that decision backfires. Yeah, that's bad luck
The moral to the story is have a viable backup QB and that you get what you put into o line
The jets have awful coaching across the board
Oh interesting looks like Brian Johnson is being interviewed by the Titans too
Rooney Rule or genuine interest?
The Jets win 10 games in 2015. Most years that gets you in the playoffs. Not 2015. And then they choke the last game.
The jets needed one win in Rex’s 3rd season, lost
The dolphins have experienced similar nightmares
Probably the former.
You know whose snake bitten besides the chargers ?
The Vikings
Yes I know they had the Minneapolis miracle but that’s one instance . Otherwise something horrible happens to them often
Yeah... the Vikings. Look. they miss a lot of FGs, etc. But the Vikings haven't had an elite QB of their own for long since Fran Tarkenton in the 70s. And one year with Favre.
That Favre year was the biggest opportunity that team could’ve won the Super Bowl
That 09 team was fun af
And then Peterson fumbles, because he was known for that. And Favre decided to force a pass, because Favre.
The Vikings also are kind of poorly built in the trenches on both sides of the ball
The funniest Vikings loss in the playoffs was Blair Walsh
Like 98 was tragic. But were you really trusting an aging Randall Cunningham to be clutch when it mattered most?
Eh.
Blame the kicker, but they could've scored a TD there
It’s the same as the bears loss to the eagles , it wouldn’t of come down to it if the offense wasn’t so bleh
Same with that classic Blair Walsh kick. It was so funny and pathetic. But Peterson did his annual choking and you had Mid Teddy as QB throwing the football in cold ass Minnesota.
Kirk is definitely the best qb they’ve had in my life but I don’t think he can take them to the next level
I think the only Vikings team the past 20 years where I genuinely thought they could win it all was 2009
Kirk is the perfect QB for the Vikings. It represents all this hollow hope and talent that freeze in January like a car battery outdoors in January Minnesota weather.
This recent season when the Vikings looked dead I saw for the first time a cousins who might elevate them , and than it’s gone
Kirk keeps them competitive but he only keeps them slightly above water , the Vikings are poorly constructed
You have to understand. Kirk doesn't elevate rather he plays up to the talent around him.
It was like this with Matt Ryan.
The moment you took away the high end talent, they often struggle.
Besides the mvp season I agree
Man, he had Kyle as his OC and high end talent all around him in 2016.
That’s a good point
Cousins can keep a team competitive but not elevate them
The Vikings are just mediocre
They don’t have a Super Bowl core
Case Keenum brought the Vikings to a NFC title game. Kirk missed the playoffs his first year in Minnesota the next year.
The Vikings are a second rate organization. They don't make enough bad decisions, but they also don't make enough good decisions,
Like, extending Cousins was a mistake and I said it was a mistake when it happened.
Because, he were are in 2024 and the Vikings only have one playoff win with him as QB.
And that's also mainly because the Saints wanted to be the bigger chokers that year.
So much for Super Bowl contenders. Despite a 13-3 season, there were a few things that New Orleans was no match for: Those being Dalvin Cook, the Vikings defensive gameplan, and themselves.
That's a nice way of saying they looked pretty bad against a team they should've beaten and this may be the end of their window since Brees could either ret...
@celest zephyr
Offfffff course
The best Closer goes to the New Evil Empire
He didn't sign with the Dodgers, so I don't give a shit
I know you can't wait for the Dodgers season.
I don't like the Astros, but I hate the Yankees and Dodgers way mode
More
So this was only the 3rd worst outcome
Soon the Dodgers will sign the Yonko and destroy the baseball world.
They arguably already have the Yonko
Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, Shohei Ohtani, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto
Who knows, they might even have the “GoKo” if the rumors are true regarding Roki Sasaki getting posted next season
The Raiders making understandable, right decisions?
As nice as that is are they planning to run it back with AOC
Cuz

Good work raiders
So the raiders can solve the biggest plague on their franchise :
Culture issues
i feel like they solved their culture issues last time with Jon gruden last time
but.... emails got in the way
🤣
Jon Gruden is a parasite
On a side note. The snow devil came near me today
Gruden coached one stacked team he didn’t build , doesn’t deserve the respect he gets
true
man if the raiders also become good
and the chargers don't land harbaugh
shit bro thats it for that franchise
I’m still surprised the chargers aren’t hot on Belichick
It’s snowing in Florida?
I've been in New Jersey for almost a year now
We got no snow up here, funny enough
One of those rare times where south gets snow but north doesn’t
It still coming down too.
It's getting there.
The worst of it has passed here but it’ll probably come back
Some parts where I was walking it's coming up to my ankles.
Nice, enjoy it man. Always fun to look at lol
Not fun to drive through.
I oddly enjoy cleaning off snow from the car. It’s weird therapy
And the Saints are allegedly interested in adding him to their staff since he and Carr are boys

Could honestly see him become their OC now with Carmichael gone
You serious ???
That’s what I read a couple days ago
That would be stupid
It would. So I hope it happens
If he’s seen as successful coaches will open the trucks up to pay him to be head coach
Idk what the raiders have in AOC
I didn’t see anything special from him so personally I would draft a QB if I was them
i think the raiders is a good team for fields, thoughts?
great running game, good posession receivers. they just need more speed and he brings it
don't have to carry the franchise, because their defense is elite
and if he plays well, could def see a contract long term with AP there
i guess because the paychecks are nice, but lol idk man i would feel some kind of way as a competitor knowing that the only reason i have a job is because of my brother 😭
https://vxtwitter.com/ButtCrackSports/status/1748446573955011041
There’s no good team for him IMO, but the raiders have a better o-line than the bears at least
