I like the fa cup but why does the carabao cup exist it’s basically the same thing just less good. I’m ok with reducing games as well and give more time to the players but I don’t think international football is where that cut should happen. Me personally, I love international football and while it may not be the case a lot of time in Europe, in South America international fixtures are very important as they all count as qualifiers for the World Cup. In Colombia we have a rule that’s in place where the league continues during international breaks and in exchange if your team loses players because of it they help you out. Like if I have a player serving a ban for a red card I can still play him if I have another one in international break and the sentence will be served when the player is back from international football
