With the new stadium or with the Trop?
Idk man don’t think it’s a good idea to say that to rays fans
NEW: Danny Wirtz is officially the new chairman of the Blackhawks.
He's the fourth Wirtz to hold this title since 1950.
But he doesn't expect many tangible changes to come from this. Rather, he expects the org's existing momentum to continue.
New story: https://t.co/Sk1KrXdanA
It would cost a lot of more money to move out and they can’t plan any stadium in Tampa because St Pete are jealous as always.
They gotta hear the truth from someone
Considering how anti-public funds Florida is for stuff like stadiums at this moment, I honestly see a scenario where maybe the rays do leave with a new ownership. Based on what I read in the article, it doesn’t seem Stu wants to be the guy to do the relocation at this point in this saga.
They’re not the jealous ones. Saint Petersburg is a beautiful city
It is nice. Problem is population
But at the same time, it does depend on what he wants to do, if nothing works out by the end of this year or even by some time in the beginning of next year. It could be he decides to stay as the owner and renew the lease for the trop 🤢.
It didn’t look too bad when I visited. Even the touristic areas weren’t too full. The people were nice and it wasn’t overcrowded
Tampa is much bigger and easier for people outside to get to the stadium.
If you were in Orlando. It could take up to 2 hours to get there
The Bucs and Bolts play in Tampa and they have streaks of sellouts
I made the drive from Orlando to Saint Petersburg actually I don’t remember how long but it was more than two hours. Loved the city and the food. Tampa was fine but not as fun. I get why it’s painful for tampa fans but I’m a fan of Saint Petersburg so a team there is cool
St Pete are jealous though. And that’s the heart of the problem for the Rays. Rays can’t make plans to build a stadium in Tampa because St Pete won’t allow it.
Thankfully that agreement is ending soon
Saint Petersburg are happy with their team, tampa is jealous and wants to take it away
Look. Tampa has the Bucs and Bolts. St Pete has that little brother complex to them it’s as simple as that. They don’t care about facts
How can you be jealous of something you have?
Saint Petersburg - “Feelings don’t care about your Facts”
Because they don't want to face the fact that nobody is gonna go to Rays game often when their city is isolated by bridges.
A lot of neighboring cities in America sometimes have stupid rivalries with the bigger city
Example I can think of is the little brother complex that North Jersey has with New York City
I do hate this narrative going on with baseball that nobody cares about baseball in Florida. Yes, Florida has a lot of transplants. "So many Yankees fans at Rays games." Okay, you can say that about almost every stadium.
I agree
And they always bring up the Marlins pretending like Loria didn't spent years destroying any faith they team had there.
95% public funded and destroying the 2003 team immediately
That definitely does it
I feel so bad for people in Miami they are going to be paying for that thing for years to come
Marlins aren't leaving either for many decades.
Yeah I get that but the problem here is the small city has a team and the big city wants to take it away. The market is smaller sûre but it’s their market. Their team and if they’re happy with it as it is then the big city shouldn’t come take it away
St Pete just doesn't want to face reality.
It should be something for the greater good.
So should the devils move to New York City?
No, but the devils kind of used as leverage occasionally as to why north jersey is better than New York City,
That’s exactly what St. Petersburg does with the Rays
It’s not that they actually care about the team rather it’s leverage against Tampa Bay for tourism
Jersey being better than New York

The stadium proposal in St. Petersburg confirms that as it just doesn’t look right.
They care about the team, it’s a good city with good people and I know that because I spent one afternoon there
The Bengals have released OT La’El Collins from PUP. He’s now a free agent.
The people sure but nottttttt the city government
You have to understand, the Trop, their stadium rn. That was put in place for a team that was planning to relocate to the TB area. The stadium was built years before the Rays were a thing. If the Rays had the choice, they would've picked Tampa.
Yeah
From the Giants to the Rangers
Giants were so close
So many teams used SunTrust stadium as it was called as leverage against their cities
From my understanding with the Rangers, George W. Bush was part of the reason why they stayed. Yes former President George W. Bush, who also was the former owner of the Texas Rangers
Please
Schoen please
But who cares what the owners want, the people from Saint Petersburg are the ones who go to the games. It’s their team and they wouldn’t change it to another city
True look I wish that was true but there’s also another element that wasn’t discussed yet. SunTrust stadium or now Tropicana Field was built in an area that had a lot of history in the African-American community. The people in St. Petersburg aren’t happy about the fact that was destroyed for a stadium. They still aren’t happy about it in fact
I think the people of St Pete would want them to move to Tampa to get more fans in the games. It's the higher ups that are doing this BS.
At the end of the day, the true fans recognize that it’s better for the team overall
As siren says
They rather have the team be further away from them. That way they can atleast stay in central Florida.
It could be that the stadium proposal in St. Petersburg is good, but judging from the stadium and redevelopment renderings they put out. I don’t know I don’t think they want that
Ok this I agree that it’s ugly. It’s one of the things I like about our stadium because it’s in the suburbs no houses were destroyed
I mean 👀
Wouldn’t it be annoying for them to go for games?
Can't wait for the day the Trop is destroyed. Goodbye, prison stadium.
I can’t say I’m entirely correct about the details, but I think that is the TLDR of it. Am I wrong about anything siren?
Rangers
Worst part is that they proved themselves in the playoffs when the devils beat us
I know I’m a traitor, but like that hurt
Yeh we deserved it
They’re a top 5 team in the league imo
I had so much faith in you
There's so many renders that it's almost useless trying to analysis them.
But yeah north jersey doesn’t suffer from little brother syndrome lmao, there are thousands of people who live here and work in Manhattan. We’re just one metro area man, we’re not nyc but we breathe and eat the same stuff idk
There’s still a little bit of it
In my personal opinion, I know people that wish that the Giants and Jets were called New Jersey
I don’t understand that for the life of me, truly
No one would say that, unless there is some form of a little brother complex
NYers usually say that , not people from NJ
WHY ARE DEY CAWLED NEW YORK
It’s such a non story man
Different strokes for different folks
I remember hearing stories of when the Giants changed to their current logo, there was a outrage from the people of NYC because they played in NJ.
Lol
Its 30 minutes away like what are we talking about
It’s longer for people in SF to drive to Levi’s
Lololol
They need to change it to Santa Clara 49ers !!!
Faxxxxxxxs lol
Or Arlington Cowboys
And Arlington Rangers
And Arlington Mavericks
Lions spent years playing in Pontiac
And maybe Arlington Stars?!
Just to confirm do all four of them play in Arlington and not Dallas?

Well, Tampa Bay represents the whole region
Right Tampa is the city Tampa Bay is the region correct
Oh sorry I’m not allowed to say that about the NY football teams

Aight I’m moving from this convo lmao
As a New Jerseyan who currently lives in Brooklyn. I do not mind at all if the Giants change the name to the New Jersey Giants personally I would be pumped lol
NY is more marketable
I find it silly but all good, I understand
If that’s the case, shouldn’t the devils be called New York devils?
Like you said different strokes I guess
I mean, if there was NJ team before the Giants, they would've used the NJ name likely.
Also, Devils as in the legend New Jersey Devil.
Never heard of a NY Devil.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I’m an NJ guy too like it’s no secret but there so much context and history like the jets and giants started in the city, played in the city, and they could not find space to build a football stadium in the city so they moved 30 minutes across the river. The devils always started in NJ and we’re created FOR NJ
Then you had teams like the Nets that were basically forced to use the NJ name when they joined the NBA from the wrath of the Knicks.
Tis true
Apparently it’s a gay dark mafia romance
But yeah, you hear the stories about the Jets having to play multiple away games because of the Mets. It's no wonder they wanted to play in Jersey with the Giants.
When MetLife was as being thought about, the Jets WERE DESPERATE to go back to NYC
The wanted to build something off the west side highway but the city shut them down
Wouldn't be surprised if Dolan had a word in that too.
There nowhere to build a stadium there unfortunately
Just wait until MSG gets canned by the city, that’ll be something to watch
But yeah, imagine trying to build anything in that clusterfuck of a city.
And that’s why the football teams moved here in 1976
Well, the Jets moved later on.
They’ve been using NY in the name since 1976 and people are still upset about it Lmfao. Yeah jets 84 I believe
I guess it's just a funny fact when the commentators talk about being in NY. "Will someone tell them they're actually in NJ rn"
Now that I’m cool with lol
also clearly shows they wanted Flick gone and purposely played like dog arse to do so
Was a good idea
Watch as Aaron Rodgers takes the field for the New York Jets for the first time with an American Flag in hand in honor of September 11.

Videos that precede unfortunate nfl moments
If I was a betting man I’d say he’s coming back next year 100%, seems way too proud/vain to retire off of a freak injury in the first drive of the first game
This is incredible. A Wisconsin bar offered free drinks if the Jets lost. After Rodgers went down, they started running up their tabs. The news was live when the jets won in overtime and everyone realized they had…
💖 87
I am not saying he won't. But he will be 40. Coming off an Achilles tear. After having a questionable last season in Green Bay
If he does come back and I am a betting man, I aint putting my money on a good season
Karma, lovely thing
yep
the bar after the jets win
I told you he’s shit
I’ll give Bournemouth 5 millions to take him
What happened?
He'd bench
He wouldn't come
As long as Farteta keeps starting him no reason to leave tbf
aaron rodgers, their starting QB and their first beacon of hope in a loooong time (besides the 09/10 oasis) tore his achilles four offensive plays in
Give me Patrick
Oh that’s rough that’s the worse kind of injury
I knew he shoulda sat his old ass down somewhere
Well he is for the entire season
where can i watch baseball games?

I can
What with him being a movie nut and all apparently
I will never once feel sorry for New York football
The only person I’ll believe about this whole Babcock/phone fiasco is Patrik Laine, because he’ll not give a fuck about throwing his coach under the bus and his phone gallery is probably just him trying on sunglasses at every mall or gas bar kiosk, so he has nothing to lose
1456
108
Lol
No joke if I was a player I would google “mike Babcock wife”, save every photo onto my camera roll, AND PRAY that I get called out next
Wanna see my pics coach? Say less
it feels like you guys are the bully in this relationship
He is a bully
He's just doubly mad because 2 of his fav team's division rivals are from NY and more so cause a NY team took 2 rings from Brady and the Pats
gotta hate regardless
jets get a slight glimmer of hope for two years sandwiched between 40 years of pain and another 15 afterwards
*Opens server * LOLMETS! GIANTS BAD! JETS CURSED! KNICKS DISASTER CLASS
singular tear rolls down my eye, another day living the dream baby

In New York, concrete jungle where dreams are made of die
Where dreams implode
Have you guys ever seen mass rat movement at night? It’s the scariest shit, and I’m not even afraid of rats
Is that because rats make you crazy?
Haha nah I just had a memory from a year or two back
And?
Sab has embraced his villain arc
Everyone hated on new england forever, I am just returning that energy to my dear friends in the nfl fandom
And now giants can have expectations only to rip them away.
That and literally anytime New England accomplished anything some gremlin New York paper or fandom or player would have something to spout off
Out the window and into the ocean
Mac fraud jones
On a side note I just read only 2 of the Jets 5 remaining primetime games are eligible to be flexed this season
More than likely will be
So we have to suffer through Zach Wilson on primetime at least 3 more times this year
In times like these I too cry over my 4 rings
At least the qb we drafted in that round ended up doing something
Just like a cowboys fan
Flex
Wdym the qb we drafted at least threw a ball in a nfl game
At least the Giants have won something this century though
That counts
Wdym passing yards don’t count in nfl stats
If only the Phins didn't look like they're about to curbstomp the entire AFC
Otherwise Pats would have something going
Give it time, they started hot last year too before they spun out
I , for one, like the forever misery that is the Dolphins
Besides he’s always going to be in the records as a starting qb for the 49ers
There that’s of note
Problem solved
Trey Lance was great at two things, being over drafted and getting beat out by the last pick in the 2022 nfl draft
Mr Relevant is getting a ring
Not greater than Zach Wilson
Zach Wilson has done more of note than Trey Lance
Only if the team doesn’t fold to annual injuries
Like what lol
Like bang someone's mom
He's won a game
Trey Lance had a bad run of events to be fair
Is he great? No
Sorry sorry a couple games my bad
Did he barely have development? yeah
In one season !
So did Jamarcus Russell
But considering Purdy came in and runs this offense like a well-oiled machine something was wrong with Lance
Unironically probably
He was ahem not good
Unless Purdy ends up being the next Brady or some bs
Lost a year due to COVID. Back to back season long injuries to start his career
At least he isn’t starting for my team this year
I like Purdy. Wouldn't be bad
I don’t think Lance ever got out of first gear
First? More like neutral
Yep
Did even turn the ignition
Never got development
Dude had every opportunity to win that job
So i personally have a hard time pinning it directly on him
Also can’t even be a fraud if there is nothing to show
Aight points back on the table for Trey Lance
I didn't call him a fraud, I called him a bust
I mean Tbf he did win it year 2
B u s t, bust
I’ve never denied that?
Lol
You 1000% did
Until Zach Wilson finds out about her
Not today?
They have just not win a sb
Man idk my view on sports isn’t that way
After watching whatever the fuck the leafs is well….
Only one team wins, margins can be super thin
Tbf. They shoulda probably won against Baltimore. There was some bullshit not calling PI on that final play
Joe Flacco sold his soul to the devil and threw in Ed Reed's with it
Niners have been so well run these last few years. In my life there’s only been one or two periods of them being irrelevant
Only remember the Seahawks sbs
Ravens yeah
Yeah the lights out one
Had the lights not gone out…. Niners should’ve won
That's when Joe sold his soul
Think i remember the falcons blowing a 28-3 lead live
That delay totally impacted the game
I remember that sb well
Not even gonna lie should have just postponed it
I was beyond anger and depression for 3 quarters. Then the greatest sb ever happened
Nah it was the third quarter !!
They weren't ever gonna do that
Oh right rofl yeah
You desperately need a ring man
Legit in the middle of the game dude. Crazy. We’ll prob never see that again
This is the US and the super bowl means more than Thanksgiving and Halloween combined and comes close to Christmas
Not a niners fan but they do need a ring to show for it
without a ring
Yeah idk why my mind slipped
they’re just so good
Bills you can already put down
But yeah if you don't get out of this era with a ring it's all for naught
Bills are on their way
Behind the barn with a double barrel in hand
Burrow has a good few more chances before that era happens
28-3 might be one of the worst days of my life
The Cowboys have won a SB more recently than SF. Think about that.
Chargers going to waste Herbert
Granted it was one year but yeah
It would make me a very very very happy Pats fan if the Josh Allen era ended with no rings
I can only pray that happens
Rams get a ring but not Niners would be hilarious as well
I used to be neighbors with Austin hooper when he was in Atlanta and I was rooting for them that Super Bowl….

Same with the leafs though I’d p[robably be gone before that ever happens
Trust me. You get one. You want more
one of my greatest days
I’d love to see that one day
Pats fans are greedy
Canadian teams are in fucking shambles right now
Wouldn't be surprised if the Bills got nothing out of this. I do not trust Terry Pegula as owner to make the right choices once he starts firing people.
Ottawa might have a decent year, lowkey
Hell yeah we are, now show us the stickem David Tyree put on his helmet
The entire second half after the falcons touchdown was a roll coaster
I was screaming at Ryan not to get sacked
And then he did
As a Giants fan I have a simple goal

Complete the Florida Marlins of Football meme
As a giants fan I’d like to beat dak Prescott and a full strength cowboys again
Beating the healthy cowboys is my Super Bowl at this point
As a Pats fan who has been jaded by being the villain 9000 times, I hope to come back to relevancy someday just to make everyone groan
One step at a time after last Sunday
Let's just smoke the Cards first
Imma frame it
Go from there
And to think I predicted the Pats would comeback before halftime.
Won me money
Lmaoo
I believe
I actually have a signed and framed photo of James White scoring the game winning touchdown in that sb
We're not that bad
It’s the new yorken in me
Super great
I still hate that the eagles beat them
ong
All I ask
Nobody outside Philly wanted to ever see the Eagles win a title
We’re going 2-4 or 1-5 in the division again
That was a sad day for the world
Is that the Niners prevent the Eagles and Cowboys from having a chance at a ring
Please
That patriots eagles Super Bowl was painful
First one was painful too
Sb 52 sucked. But at least we beat em in sb 39 so we are even
I just find it hilarious that the worst SB in modern history was, OF COURSE, at MetLife
Because of course
Matt Patricia defense. And the Lions made him HC afterward. 🤡
Sab I gotta ask, were you a homegrown Pats fan or did you bandwagon early on
I became a fan when Bledsoe was our starting qb
Worst superbowl in recent memory is the rams patriots Super Bowl
I've been a fan for 26 years
robbed

Lmao
More like NO got robbed
lolll
Maybe if someone didn't line up offsides
By robbed I mean we didn’t get to see it. Not that anything was rigged
Goff made literally 0 adjustments at all
That whole offense choked on a chicken wing.
100%
Oh man this saints play just gets worse and worse
The Saints still had opportunities to win that game. But
That play def robbed them
Of course, we're not gonna talk about Bress throwing that pick
It's not usually just one play that does it in
Even if I can think of a couple plays that kept us from perfection and revenge in 2011
Suprised fans didn’t just hop on the field and tear the refs apart themselves
I always get reminded of Gary Anderson's kick in the 98 NFCC. Like, the Vikings defense couldn't do shit afterward.
Man that game was 🔥🔥
That title game was better than the sb
Or how Favre threw that pick against the Saints. You never hear about Peterson fumbling the ball in the redzone eariler in the game.
the three 3rd down conversions was so clutch
Beating the beyond over hyped (at the time) Mahomes
Felt nice
But he definitely earns that title he has now

Crazy how mahomes will have a shoot out Super Bowl with Danny dimes this year
It was nice final goodbye to winning football. One last punch in the mouth of the nfl's new qb darling
In Madden?
2025
It'll be a fun game
When will the giants land on a super electric young qb
2027
At least one thags fun to watch
The year One Piece ends
Yall should worry about beating the folks in your division before you worry about any sbs
We'll be blessed w a godlike QB
Idk if new york is allowed to have anything more talented than Eli Manning
We are. Trying to anyway.....
One step at a time
Look what happened to Aaron Rodgers
The state of new york can't have that much winning
Giants aren't cursed though
The curse of MetLife
The state of New York can’t have all this winning because the world wouldn’t be able to contain us being great again
just tell danny not to throw it to the chiefs players
For some reason I read that like dunkeys video on assassin's creed
It’s crazy to think of all the teams that’s gone to the SB in my lifetime but never been back. Titans, Raiders, Falcons, Cardinals, Colts, Bears
Thankfully generationally incompetent owners keep us from doing much most of the time
Bills are cursed to to be blue balled
I’m glad I’m not a bills fan
Hahah, I’m sure I’m missing a few too. Bengals
Or a chargers fan
Of course not talking about you guys. But there's just something in me that feels the satisfaction of seeing some Giant fans become humbled after endless shit-talking for Danny Dimes before the season started. Maybe that's because it reminded me of the many years Bear fans tried to justify Jay Cutler as a good QB.
Or a Vikings fan
The Bills being the only team to go to 4 straight sbs and lose all 4.
Fair
It brings my heart joy
I'm fine with even Giants fans having no expectations
Statistical greatness
We're better this way
Imagine not winning at least 1 of the 4 straight superbowls you go to
People talk about the miss kick against the Giants like that kick was good 100% at that time.
They should’ve been expelled from the league to be honest
That lost to Washington in the SB was no excuse. They should've won there.
4 straight is still wild bruh i know those fans was hurtin
Yeah I'll take 40-0 to losing a close SB any day
Fans probably were hurting by 0-2, dead by 0-3, and quit by 0-4
i see why they jump thru tables
This is why Bills stand for
Boy
I
Love
Losing
Superbowls
If you go to 3 straight and you still go into next year like "we gonna do it this year" I think you need a therapist
One day I hope to see competent, consistent New York offense again
Imma be nice
Giants have a good concept. They've just done a poor job at the WR position and nobody fears Danny Dimes.
I hope your hopes are met one day in the very distant future
We just need an Oline man
Me need more than an oline
You spent draft capital there too. Yikes
An Oline alone gets us to Playoffs
You need a wide out. Kinda like we do
With current team
Though Borne is showing up
We're in year 2
And actually compete for the division
I hope we aren’t in perpetual “year 2” for the next decade. I trust daboll and schoen it’s not like we have football terrorist Dave gettleman anymore
It won't be a decade
I trust them too
The problem is
How do you solve Oline mid season
It should've been clear after getting the shit kicked out of by the Eagles. IDK how you turn losing to the Eagles by 31 to extending Jones. The Pats beat the shit out of Tebow in the playoffs and the first thing they did was canned Tebow for Peyton.
The hindsight GM move would probably be tag Jones, let Barkley hit the market and sign him back to us
But again
I still trust Jones himself
Oline man
I've been saying this but I watched Jets v Bills and the Giants game and I'll say this with my whole chest
Allen played worse than DJ
Be real, do you even think Jones himself could carry a team to team to the SB? Because I'd think that's copium at this point
DJ would've beaten the Jets and Allen would've done worse vs the Cowboys
If swapped teams
Not himself
He's not that kind of QB
He won't drag a team there
He's good enough to get a team there
top 15 QB
Fringe top 10
IDK what you see that I don't see.
Last year
He runs.
Jones is firmly not top 10
Again, you sound like Bear fans that were defending Jay Cutler and Mitch. He's not as good as you believe he is.
I mean I am not as harsh as Shadow, but I don't see Daniel Jones near the top 10 really
I think we’d need an exceptionally stacked offense for jones to take us to the holy land
We'd need a top 10 offense
I don’t us ever reaching a top 10 offense any time soon
1-2 offseasons considering last night
Sunday rather
I’m coping though
Realism tells me to just watch the Cards game and go from there
If you have to go to such great lengths to defend a player. Maybe that tells you all you need to know they're not that dude
Yeah I don’t see Daniel jones as it
After the lance experience I know full well
Don’t need to defend how good kittle or bosa are
I don't think Mac is the dude. But at the same time the motherfucker does just enough that it's still a damn guessing game
From experience that’s the worst
So many times I’ve had to live with mediocre goaltending
That’s just barely passable
Mac Jones if Bill doesn't fuck him up first should turn into a Kirk Cousins-like good QB. Now Kirk isn't the type of QB I'd like. But not many teams can get a good QB.
My problem with Kirk is he's not clutch.
Because he makes bad decisions imo
I mean, check down pass on 4th down
Not wrong
But if his physical talent gets about there
Then just work on the mental side
Tbh he should work on that a lot anyway.l
Even if we dink and dunk, as long as he makes the right choice, I don't give a shit
I predicted the Niners got Lance. But I did say Mac Jones was the perfect QB for the Niners.
You know god damn well that was Jakobi fucking Meyers fault
I saw Jones as a Matt Ryan type QB. Which, Kyle's offense made Ryan a MVP.
Jimmy G isn't flashy but he got you to a sb. I am not saying he is the solution but I think Jimmy got over hated
Tbh beyond mahomes and maybe burrow and Allen i can’t think of any recent qb that’s worth three firsts
Really thought they should have just sticked where they were but shrugs
After Allen's performance last night let's make that 2 firsts
Wish they traded two firsts for Stafford but eh
LOL. Well, then you remember the Niners got to that SB by running the ball.
100%
Jimmy g threw like 8 times against the packers
Jimmy G wasn't the guy for them the moment he missed that pass to Sanders.
I mean come on you’d have to be trash to throw that little and throw away the game
Lemme introduce you to Zach Wilson
Who only won because Josh Allen for some reason shat his pants
And the Bills special teams is truly bad
Petition to trade Josh Allen to the Jets
Well, they do need a RB...
The O's are giving the Rays a chance to climb back to the AL East.
The Blue Jays are finally digging their own grave
How do you explain only winning 80 games with that talent?
Something about that team just isn't clicking right.
Vladdy has like 21 hrs
I hate it
Chapman, my former favorite player, decided to fucking turn back into a pumpkin
And Manoah is the worst so
Yay
Tbf considering there are like 2 teams with over 90 wins so far that’s a bit harsh lol
I dealt with it with the Bucs with Jameis. Would have a top-flight offense with the QB throwing 400-500 yards and still lose games.
I agree lol just saying it really ain’t that bad considering how the al wants to just lie down and die
Gausman really was the only guy to show up consistently
In the grand scheme of things it sucks for this year
The Jays should be one of those 90 win teams.
Somehow this team has bsed its way to being second in the wild card standings
But I have some more faith for next year
Eh knowing Toronto sports I’ve never thought of it lol
Based off of Bo and Vladdy alone we shoulda been competing for the AL east
Okay idk about that one lmao
And the fact that the O's can perform more elite than the Jays in year one of their window is pathetic.
Vladdy used to be a reasonable contender for al mvp
He was Aaron Judge bat good
And Bo still is pretty great with the bat but his glove has always been a liability
And when you look at the Rays with little to none of their starters healthy able to win 89 win games so far. It shows there's something else going on here
Gausman is a cy young candidate, Manoah was 3rd in cy young voting, Romano was an all star, Kirk had a silver slugger
The Jays have lots of talent
They just fucking decided to fuck off for whatever reason
It could be the manager. But how many times are you gonna hire the wrong guy?
That's what annoys me
It seemed like we finally found a good guy
He came in last year and we started performing well again
Now we are fucking more inconsistent than when Montoyo was our manager
You know, that's good and all. But this team blew a 8-1 lead to the Mariners in the most important game of the year. I think there needed to be some reconsiderations afterward.
If the Jays don't fire Ross Atkins and John Schneider after this year
A new manager and front office
Imma lose my mind
And someone to get rid of the Toronto sports curse
Yeah idk I’ve always thought of the blue jays as just the baseball equivalent of the leafs
You'll forever be Atlanta Canada and like it.
Enough talent there but enough seems off that they don’t seem to be at the very top
The most important series of our season and we are getting blasted to hell by the hapless Rangers
that 8-1 lead was funny
I am sick of it
Hahahahahah that’s why Toronto sports is pain and suffering
I wanna move on from Springer, Chapman, and Manoah man
They should just show all the Toronto sports teams playoff losses in the past thirty years in torture chambers
The Jays won 2 WS titles
Also Ryu, keep Berrios and Bassit
The Jays won in 92 and 93, so 29 years since the last one
Toronto is not as cursed as you think. Raptors just sucked against LeBron and the Leafs just don't know how to win many big games when it matters.
The Leafs are 100% cursed
For sure the leafs are
IDK. Overpaying David Clarkson to a big contract that you have to buy out sounds more like stupidity than cursed
Being owned by Harold Ballard for many years would create many dumb decisions and losing.
they were cursed to be owned by harold ballard
@hasty basin lerma man he messed up bad today
That was a memorable run
Wish they beat the steelers though
They were 3 guys covering Holmes!
WTF ARE WE DOING?
Hard to play QB like this.
Can't take sack.
Who knows wtf this is?
What is this?
85?
Disaster.

Please don't. I still get nightmares over Aaron Francisco
Your favorite team Siren. The Bears and chaos
Canada is worse but Getsy.....
WTH is this @nyjets?? Fans threw a water bottle at Zach as he walked into the tunnel. Horrible fanbase.
💖 603
Disgusting behavior
I love how there is no malice here whatsoever, just genuine frustrated confusion
I didn't realize that Getsy might be an issue there.
Fields was poor, but man
Good reason the Bears have never had a single QB throw 4k yards even once
Yep
Claypool was awful too. No commitment to blocking.
The two linebackers are being utilized in ways that highlight their weaknesses.
Edmunds and TJ edwards
Claypool needs to be cut ASAP, dude just doesn't care
Was of a trade, waste of a roster spot
Can't tell me the Bears couldn't have found a rookie WR at the top fo the 2nd who would actually give effort
NFC South will be a close division race seems like
Panthers bottom of the pack for now.
1-3 up in the air
looks that way
So, people are supposed to feel bad for Jets fans still
Assuming a lot there.
Some fools doesn’t represent the bunch
lmao drip
Had to hog 3 qbs huh. @celest zephyr
Had to risk it all
I have no idea why they've not done it yet
It sucks that so many players hate metlife when its all we have
just change the fucking grass
RBNY STADIUM IS LIKE 15 AWAY AND ITS ALL GRASS
CLEARLY POSSIBLE!
Lions, Rams/Charger, Giants/Jets, Bills, Bengals, Falcons, Panthers, Vikings, Cowboys, Texans, Patriots, Colts, Saints, and Seahawks stadium use turf
More than I thought actually. I figured all the indoor ones barring Arizona bc they have that roll out system. I’m surprised Dallas doesn’t use that
Burrow was trolling lmao
Had to get someone else just in case dude wanted to suck for another week again
Sadge
How'd Sinisterra do
He barely played
He had a 7.4 on sofascore
He did one decent cross
Yeah stats wise he did well but he didn’t get the time to really contribute to the game
Yea he can't do much about that tbf
or be even more talented
Yeah he did nothing wrong just I didn’t see enough of him to tell you if he did well
At least he was almost perfect when he got the ball or tried winning it
@rustic mountain rofl the head coach of the marlies is named john gruden
man even the coaches are trolling at this point
Man's this close to dropping Burrow
nah i was planning on just benching him if he was going to be ass next week
and putting in purdy and then getting another guy as backup
michael thomas and jsn are wastes of picks so i'm just going to hope i can flip stafford and michael thomas for a better wideout
It’s really just treating him like he’s injured but not on ir
Man massa i don’t get this
It’s 15 years ago just give it up
It would be so disrespectful for Lewis to lose his first title like this
I would 100% bench Burrow for Purdy until I see something otherwise
Dropping is just stupid though lol
Right now I’m hoping Justice Hill can be solid as Ravens new number 1 back
It's been one game lol
Little reactionary to bench Burrow even if Purdys matchup is better + he's a good qb
90th win for the Rays
Yeah I’m just waiting to see how he’s doing in practice
And then deciding by game day
Should be better now that he has an entire week to shake off the rust
It’s also cuz he had a calf injury to recover from before the season started
So I wanted to see how that’s looking for week 2
“Do you think anyone is still saying you can’t throw deep?”
Tua: I don’t care. 466
Where did this tua can’t throw deep narrative come from
Average arm
He has that confidence now thanks having the likes of Hill.
Terrible news for the Texas #Rangers:
Max Scherzer has a low-grade strain of the teres major muscle in his right shoulder that ends his season.

To recap, the Patriots starting left tackle (Trent Brown) has a concussion. Both starting guards (Michael Onwenu and Cole Strange) are still limited. The man who started at left guard (Sidy Sow) has a concussion. The team's starting center (David Andrews) has a hamstring injury.

Mac is going to be in hell
It’s the full arm sleeve
Knew it would transform Tua
💀💀 bruh
OL got hit
I just realized Rodgers has a clear shot now of winning comeback player of the year in 2024
Yup
That's if he's the same QB next year.
If he doesn’t get another season ending early next year
Mobility is a plus but it’s never been the carrying factor of his play style
I don’t fear a total regression
He’s gonna be ARodgers because his brain is still ARodgers
It’ll be harder to win a SB but
He can still have a good year in 25
24*
His arm strength is still good, I would assume his football IQ hasn’t dropped off either save how down he was last year
But last year he also had to deal with a bunch of raw rookies and injuries to his O-line, so I don’t want to fault him too much
He will be fine
Adjust fantasy accordingly friendos
Update: It's possible that #Bears WR Chase Claypool will be an healthy scratch for the #Bucs game on Week 2.
Coach Matt Eberflus said: "We're looking at all possibilities right now."
(h/t @CourtneyRCronin)
Which ended up being pick 32 in the draft at that
Sucks to suck
If Pace and Eberflus make it through the year though I’d say safe bet they have 2 top 10 picks next year
Pretty Boy Pace hasn't been there for awhile now
And if Fields continues to struggle all season that makes 2024 real interesting draft wise with all of those QBs coming out
Cause if Bears get pick 1 again you’re taking Caleb without a second thought
Matt Canada and Luke Getsy should be competing for whose worse as OC. To me they're 1a and 1b.
I doubt he does
The real question is how much is a fields extension
Now that will be spicy
They look out of their depth
The GM is Ryan poles now
They’re looking like they’re going to be at the basement. Lack of talent, but bad coaching as well. Fields is also still showing his deficiencies.
Rockets working to trade Kevin Porter Jr. along with draft compensation in wake of charges of felony assault and strangulation due to alleged attack on girlfriend, per sources.
Details at @TheAthletic: https://t.co/2ddHr7wBjT
Lol. No one is trading for him
I … I kinda wanna pick the bears this weekend even tho LOL
Hahahah really? Would expect it to be all Bucs after last weekend
The Bucs don’t have an excuse to lose to the Bears, but they have a history of making mediocre QBs look like studs
Unfortunately that was my thought process too
What the hell is even that
Does the MLS know the concept of defending ? Messi probably has never seen this much open space since Kindergarten
Casually jogged past 2 defenders probably half his age
oops lma
*St Petersburg
Neat
And that’s how you blow up a career
Eagles D got a few injuries I might just start Kirk fr

The smell of football is back in the air. Our weekends consumed by the smells of pigskin and tailgates. The anguish of our teams filling us with dread. We yearn for just a morsel of success from them....

Kirk Miked up was hilarious
Oh top 2 not bad
?????? How is Josh Allen power ranked above Herbert or Jackson after week 1?
Because he’s the best

The man lost his team the game singlehandedly
He’s still the best
Just had a bad game
And the team didn’t help
Either way he’s top 2 go cry about it

He's top 2 by some arbitrary power ranking
I wouldn't consider him above Mahomes or Burrow if we are real and tbh on a good day Id take Herbert over him too
Powerful if you're throwing to the wrong team
He’s won the division the past 3 years
I’m used to teams not even making the playoffs so that’s a w in my book
WRU
Taking Herbert over Allen is crazy
And herby is my favowit
Ya hate runs deep sab
Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy said that he thought the offense did "a lot of good things" against the Packers.
(Via @ChicagoBears)

Fire him now.
He was really cooking something up against GB. 1st and 10? HB DIVE!
Fair or not, Chaim Bloom will forever be remembered by #Redsox fans as the guy who traded away future Hall of Famer Mookie Betts (which of course was approved by Redsox ownership).
Texans could add Oilers color to new 2024 uniforms https://t.co/4PQPADiJ84 @UniWatch @AnthonyMEmerson
Fenway very much comes off as their main strategy being to outsmart everyone at all times… even themselves lol. Dubas in Pit is almost the perfect hire for their philosophy
I would like thrashers again ngl
Thrashers. It’s unique imo
Daniel jones getting rated higher than purdy and love for getting bitch slapped by the cowboys defense LOL
Yeah I love Herbert but nah no way Allen is worse than him
Let's be real
I'll preface this by saying this
I am, of all the NFL boys, the least knowledgeable here. I acknowledge that. I am trying to learn more by watching more.
For this week, Allen performed worse so maybe that’s what he went with
But so many people underrated Purdy because he was Mr. Irrelevant
And only that
If we picked Purdy in Trey's position and he was putting up the same digits
He'd be ranked way higher in people's minds
Now, adversely, many also overrate him potentially
But that spot is plain disrespectful lol
Derrick Klassen does have some bias when it comes to him evaluating qbs
He’s not the biggest fan of qbs with weaker arms
Thrashers could be used. And if not, maybe the Titans.
Or safe structures regarding scheme where the qb isn’t asked to do much
I guess but Herbert and any other qb can also have a stinker
Weaker arms are an issue when a QB has issues completing in the reduced capacity of non long ball play. Purdy doesn't have that issue and still throws decent long balls
So his bias is dogshit
I'll admit I'm high on Purdyium
Idk even if I was the biggest mahomes hater of all time I couldn’t put him lower than like the second or third best qb in the league right now
But come on lol.
Danny Dimes being rated more than Jimmy G and Carr is bias and they know it.
To me it’s more of how much effort and how accurate it is
Like if they need a ton of effort to throw like 30 plus yards then yeah by nfl standards that’s a weak arm
Or if it’s wildly inaccurate once they throw deep cuz they can’t control it that well
Also the clowns who put Tannehill at 13. Not if he plays like he did in NO.
If he was such a good QB, then why have the Titans attempted to replace him the last 2 drafts? Just a train of thought.
I guess it’s something stupid of just underrating the crap out of some guys then moving them up when shocker they are actually good
Also not even gonna lie the middle part of the nfl starting qbs list is like barren rofl
You really gotta think about it though. Watson is ranked quite low here too. I refuse to believe how average Watson is so much worse than Average Daniel Jones.
Probably cuz of how ass he was last season
And to be completely honest one week of tape also shouldn’t move a guy that much
Like idk Watson was far worse than even average last season
Watson was average at best the games he had played last year. For Jones though, are they really basing that on a playoff game against one of the worst defenses in the league?
But hey, they do put more of a spotlight on the big market QBs not named the Bears
Although, Why is Fields above Purdy?
I know the minor team there are the Gladiators
I mean, anything is better than calling them the Peaches.
Imagine saying Tannehill is the 13th best QB in the league after the stinker he put on Sunday

It should tell you something when the team has attempted to replace him the past 2 years.
And as of now has failed both times
When Levis gets healthy though I imagine that will be when they make the switch
I just really like Brock and felt sad that he got shafted
Even if it's by someone who I don't care about

It be like that sometimes
If he keeps performing like he has all season then that will shut doubters up
A lot of it is on Getsy, but Fields is not that dude and probably won't be. Yet continues to be overrated by Bear fans and the media.
Tbf Chicago is just desperate for any hope whatsoever right now
Chicago is always like that.
It was with Grossman, it was with Cutler, it was with Mitch,
GB is on a 9 game winning streak against them

Bears sure did make Love look like Rodgers at some points.
Really am curious how he does this year, ain’t hard to look good against one of the worst teams in the league but GB has nice offensive pieces around him
Luke Getsy would then respond by calling a HB dive on 1st down. Doesn't this sound familiar
Even I disagree
DJ is like 20’s after that game
He’ll be top 15 after this weekend tho
Daniel Jones does not deserve one spot under Goff
Goff rn is top 15
Tua is also too low
Idk how Geno 10
Yeah.. list trash 🚮
Lawrence should be above Burrow
This is week 2 power rankings
Yeh it is garbo
Or they put in Willis
Ngl they should just do a qb comp in practice between those two
Who wins starts
The team sucks anyways
I legit don’t think a rookie qb could even tank them that much
Oh just throw the ball to Derrick Henry and burks
Problem solved
The Titans are a weird team. They say they're competitive but their off-season choices say otherwise.
Burrow shouldn’t even be top 10 after that performance against Cleveland
80 passing yard is garbage
I mean
Neither should Lamar
Didn't have the best of games
Point being it's a crap list and Brock shouldn't be that low
The only difference between us and them is they actually get paid for having shit takes on QBs.
Maybe I should get a job there
Debating on who to start Kirk Matthew or Goff
At least they redeemed it by having Faye there though, right?
If only buc…if only
...
Another happy customer
Friendly reminder for anyone who has Kenneth Gainwell in fantasy, he is out tonight

OAT? WOW
I kinda agree tbh
Fair but I'd have Walker somewhere there
Except swap Evra and Cole
I really like walker and Valencia and would have one of them in that fifth spot
I like Trent a little more than Robbo but it's fair to put Robbo above him
Feel like it'll change soon
I like Robertson a lot more but Trent would still be a top one. I think he’s more reliable overall. It’s close though
Trent is 5 years younger I believe?
And both were part of the peak liverpool squads so
Wtf i always thought they were from the same generation
