You also gotta think about it this way. Jack Hughes in the NHL, even with ice time, took him till last year at 20-21 to truly become the face of the NJ Devils. Took Makar years to become a top 5 defenseman in the league. The problem with the NBA is you're drafting these guys young and everyone expects them to make impacts off the bat and it's just not gonna happen.

I love the marketing team in my club regarding women’s football. While it isn’t as big or lucrative, they still manage to make the people want to go. Like the league made sure to put the 2 classicos men and woman on the same day. The woman’s game right before the men’s game and you could buy a ticket that included both matches. Kids get in free to all our women’s games and while the boys are absolute shit, the girls are consistently going to finals and winning so we’ve had sold out stadiums
