Yeah wtf he could keep up somewhat with KC but everything else was trash
Denver beating KC at this point would be like the Buffalo Bills from 2003 to 2018 beating Brady's pats
It happened. But like
3 times and 2 of them were with backups
Afc west stacking up just for mahomes to be king again
Mahomes owns that division and its not even close
The Chargers are always gonna Charger, the Raiders...lol and the Broncos pulled a LA Rams but in hopes of selling out to get a wild card berth
If you didn’t Let’s Ride with us when we were losing, don’t you dare let’s ride with us when we’re winning with Sean Payton.
If we lose with Sean Payton feel free to Let’s Ride in our face
1053
Perna ready for pain
Hahahhahaha can’t wait for y’all to suck
Brandon just preparing to be owned by a cartoon starfish again.
Let's give Denver at least this: there's no way Payton fucks up the clock management and play calling like Hackett
Right?
Russ can at least feel nostalgia being coached by someone who can't stop chewing his gum.
I mean I kinda get where you're at Ray. Granted, we almost made the playoffs with possibly the only two play callers worse than Hackett last season, it didnt cost us a first round pick or any picks to get a good playcallers and there is marginal hope that Mac Jones can be passable. But I sorta get it
Byron leftwich?
God the Broncos really fucked their future
Joe Lombardi?

Broncos trying to make a splash
Bruh that joke dont work on a team that got BoB lmao
What did they not call plays?
A lot of bad OCs this year. That's been the trend.
No no I mentioned it in relation to your comment about last season
Look if youre gonna tell me Matt P and Joe Judge were better??
Not saying bob is worse
Ahh
Yeh
Well
I still think Matt Patricia and Joe Judge were the two absolute worst
And the only reason we were semi passable sometimes is Bill would jump in if they were fucking shit up way too hard
But he isnt an offensive coach so he is limited
The Bucs offense only managed to not be shit when Brady ran 2 minute offense
Mac still has time to prove me wrong, but can you 100% say rn that you trust that Mac Jones can win a SB?
I mean how many people can lol
Like there are guys that can do it but it ain’t proven
If he actually turns it around
Sure
But if not, dude is next in line for no 5th year option city
Out of the young guys only mahomes and burrow have gone close or done it
Only young guys I’d have faith in if the cards go right they can make the sb or win it
The way I look at it is that Mac still has a chance to progress
Because honestly, he's gonna be better next season, I don't think that's hard to say. But, really looking back at why many had Mac Jones high and I just think, BEARS FOOTBALL!!
And I think another thing is
Now wasting an actually good qb
Mahomes, Burrow
They are outliers
Josh Allen looked like a massive bust up until like year 3
No dude. Allen was. Rough af.
Yeah but I meant how good they are
I looked forward to playing Allen for a while because I knew the dude was gonna throw us 2 picks a game
Like seeing a team like the 49ers or rams shows that you don’t need a high end qb to make the big dance
The Rams had a decent qb at least
Yeah but he wasn’t one of the best
Guys like burrow mahomes Allen Herbert either are or have the potential
No but it's a league of 32 teams and each team gets 53 dudes to be active
It's such a small pool
I know I’m just saying you don’t need an elite qb to win it
And tbh Herbert is in the Lamar Jackson category
Talented af
But can win shit
Cant*
The fact he has only gotten to one post season game with that loaded team
Is a bad thing
Isn’t it his third season lol
I am not saying Herbert is doomed
Plus was it his fault Staley choked last season lol
I am saying at the moment
He is in the Lamar category
For me
Players progress and regress. Not a permanent mark on his record
Yeah but I’m just saying there is way too small of a sample size to claim that
I am saying that rn that's all he has given
You got to at least make multiple playoff runs before saying if a guy can do it or not
Allen and even Mahomes were prospects that were projects, like Mahomes was boom or bust. Mac Jones is different because he came into the draft being considered the most ready out of his class. The problem with being most ready in your class is he's already near his full potential and he can only be good to a level. Unlike a Mahomes or Allen who had to progress a bit, but have high ceilings.
And then played really well after that?
Maybe we didn’t see the same game but I really didn’t see him do anything egregious to throw it
And Matt Ryan actually lost it by his own efforts?
I didnt see him lead his team like the better qbs either
I know it is but its all we have, have you not heard of a report card?
At this point, I think you can win with Mac but not because of him.
And we disagree on what is applicable
Like can you call lance a bust if he hasn’t played enough games
I am not saying the dude is doomed
No you cant but I fully put him on the bust path
Same with Lamar and Justin both not exactly taking great paths rn
Ain’t his fault but that’s besides the point
But how is that known after three season and one playoff game?
Lamar at least has made it several times and blown it
I am not saying it is a known I am saying he is progressing that way
I didn't say he is doomed and the worst qb ever
There's levels to stuff, not everything is black and white and rn he is a worse area than not
I will only say about Herbert is, Joe Lombardi turned him into Jimmy G. If he continues to throw checkdowns endlessly next season, we'll have problems.
Exactly. He isn't doomed but shit didnt look good
Yeah but my point is and then I’m done is that a guy has to have some meaningful sample size in the playoffs to give them a path
It’s perfectly fine to say he’s just at a fork in the road
Now that he’s made it what can he do when the next time he makes it
Okay and my last point is that if Herbert retired today where would he be
How is that not the point? Does this year just not count because first time there?
What does someone’s path have to do with them retiring right now?
It's a hypothetical
It counts but I need to see more to make a judgment that’s all
And that’s my point
If you disagree coool but don’t bring up shit that ain’t related
And I am saying judgements are more fluid than that and you can note where a person is currently
I’ll take the Doomer approach then and say he is doomed for no other reason than being with the Chargers
Because path is related to them retiring now how?
For a guy without even 5 seasons starting?
Sorry for not assuming that you are talking about if Herbert could possibly just up and retire
IDK why any talented player wants to sign long term with Dean Spanos. All he does is be a petty cheapass.
Like come on man at the very least it’s fair to argue from the point of he has a long career to come and he’s just started
If you want to bring it sure but I was never arguing anything g related to that at all
I even said he had a decent game
So no shit he wouldn’t be much if he somehow went up and retired
I literally didn’t say anything that would make that hypothetical worth bringing up
We disagree. I am done with it
It’s all good then
Just didn’t think it was in the parameters of what the discussion was
But if you thought that it’s all good
I promise dude, there was really no attempt to get you angry or anything
I only do that with Josh Allen fans
I wasn’t angry just confused that’s all
But on the real, none of that was meant to piss you off and I apologize if it did
You couldn't get me angry. I've talk with enough stubborn Giant and Bear fans long enough that I only feel numb afterwards.
Like one comment bothered me but I wasn’t pissed over it
Nahh tbh I dont actually try to make anyone angry
Just annoyed
If I do it's really not intentional
So for annoying you, I promise that wasnt the intent
IDK if I get anyone angry here. I know Juba got annoyed that I dared question Kyle's tactics when it came to young players.
I've been annoyed a couple times but never like
It’s just true lol
"Fuck this dude and all he stands for"
I only think that when a guy is just saying dumb shit
I consider you guys friends, that's not really my mentality with friends
And clearly refuses to make any actual legitimate argument to back up their point
While also having no actual meaningful discussion.
It really isnt the biggest of deals. Plus tbh conveying intent in a chat can be difficult
I don't get annoyed with people here though. They're just more opinions I see on the internet after all. If I can't convince people on my point of view, I just sit back see the results at the end prove or disprove my case.
Oh none of the points you made annoyed me ever
Josh Allen supremacy got to me once or twice lmao
But that was after bad pats weeks
Yeah fair enough I’m still maturing lol
And tbh anything at that point was enough to annoy me
Shit I am 30, I am supposed to be a mature adult, but I admit Josh Allen really really gets under my skin and he shouldn't lol
Human nature and all of that jazz
I fully admit that the bruins Habs and Seahawks get under my skin more than they have any right to
The Jets used to when they were decent in 2010
Now I look forward to playing them yearly
I smashed my remote after game 3 of the NHL 2018-19 playoffs. Like time to time, a loss will get to anyone.
Yeh
I think it's part of it. Is it healthy? Probably not, but I am addicted to it
Otherwise I wouldn't willingly cheer for anyone
Hell yeah. I’d have quit the leafs long ago if I cared about my health lol
Like I do but still damnit I’m back to suffer the next year
Honestly, I think learning how to lose makes the wins much more greater later on. I can't imagine being a Pats fan during the middle of Brady/Bill's dominance. I would have an empty feeling.
The worst pain ever was that 2007 sb
There wont be sympathy
But that shit stung. Hard.
I was also in middle school with a buncha denver fans
Like, I saw the Bolts get sweep in the first round by a 8th seed team after winning 62 games before seeing 2 straight cups wins.
In fact, the 2007 sb was so bad, when Brady got hurt in 08, I took the whole year off
Yeah losing against Montreal hit me hard
Tampa was rough also but man blowing a 3-1 series lead and utterly imploding in game 7 hurt
You know, I still haven't rewatched those playoff games in that 2018 playoffs. I don't think I'll ever feel any worse than that. The Bucs could blow a 28 point lead in the SB and it won't feel as bad as losing to an 8th seed team after winning 62 games.
Oh I understand I haven’t watched single one of the games from the Habs series again
Yeah. I relate to that
Losing in 2011 and 2017
Didnt really suck as bad
It sucked. But
Not as bad
I get that losing perfection in the last game to like a 6th seed
Starting Eli manning at that time
Eli Manning is the devil
It’s still funny to me how a goofy guy like him is the devil of a team
Especially when he didn’t do that much outside of his two sb runs
I can understand the 07 loss. Probably above 98 Vikings in the best teams to not win a SB.
98 vikes
Wasn’t even alive then lol
Happens when you trust Viking kickers.
What kickers?
The guys who kick their fans in the nuts every year
I think I was like 3 months old when Gary missed that easy chip shot.
I was 6 years old when the Vikes did that shit
Hey Buc
Tbf my brother wasn’t even like 3 then
What's the first sb you remember
And he’s 26 now
Mine is Den vs GB
I can tell you, it was super bowl 39 for me.
Mine is I think ne vs Seattle
Damn youngguns
I for sure recall watching pats vs falcons
I wasn’t super big into football until middle school
I remember watching John fucking Elway lmao
Same didn’t like sports until like grade 8 or 9
Well, I became a Bucs fan right after that SB.
Though I always remember that I did support Tampa Bay so I must have seen classic Bucs games with Dungy and early Gruden at some point
Growing up in Idaho, football was one of the few sports we had so
Maybe the SB they won but I can’t be sure
Nobody really watches sports in my family besides my brother
I was 7 when I made the mistake of becoming a Bucs fan. What's your excuse?
I didn’t even really support teams then
Living in the general vicinity and the people around me being excited when they did well
Because of a choice we made in elementary school
Also my fav color is red so nice fit
Oh that’s why I became a leafs and raptors fan lol
Should've ran for the hills
Sadly I’m hooked now
Buc the buck who is a fan of the Bucs works better tho
So you are telling me my leafs hopium isn’t healthy
You know what isnt healthy?
I hate being asked what was the first QB you had to root for and having to say Chris fucking Simms.
Leaving a winning organization to pick one that hasnt won a title since the year you were born
is there an official site that sells bulls Drose jerseys? all the ones i see ppl selling are absurd prices
Well, you had a guy who could've won a lot of SBs if not hurt. Chris Simms is only a reminder that Gruden chose him over Aaron Rodgers.
I know
And you know whats worse
Chris Simms is like
One of the worst opinion givers now lmao
Idk tbh the nba stir doesn’t
So he continues to be terrible
Look at that, he gives shit takes like he would make shit throws.
If only he actually was paid to make shit throws
He was the first dude besides that one guy on ESPN to say Brady was cooked in 2014
He still holds a grude against New England for the time he couldnt hack it in our organization
I just know Chris simms for giving shitty qb evals
Wonder why he can’t evaluate qbs
"You threw the ball way too far, no one is gonna catch it down there"
Oh wait any qb with a good arm can do it?
I legit thought Jeff Garcia was the greatest thing to happen to Tampa because Simms was just so worthless in comparison
Sports fan things lol
Genuinely blessed to not have had to live through years of a team I’m a fan of being shit
There was some sports talk for a second that he could revitalize his career in tampa
Jeff was good until he actually had to win the close ones.
SF for like
Years
And years
Was just a mess
After Steve Young holy shit dudw
Dude
I knew SF for being really bad when I started watching football. Alex Smith was in limbo for like the first 4 years of his pro career.
Alex Smith was supposed to be some god send when drafted too
And he just was mid af for a good long while
Yeah I know leafs were dogshit for years between their two playoff runs
Raptors were ass before demar and Lowry after bosh and Carter left
I remember Mike Singletary burying Vernon Davis at a press conference. I remember the Niner fans booing hard after a late 2010 game.
A team that I remember being ass despite being good in my lifetime is the jets
Holy shit Mike Singletary
Haven’t known a jets team that wasn’t known for being lol jets
Dude threw Davis under the bus and floored it hard back and forth
Vernon Davis was a pretty good tight end for the 9ers too
I think he still holds most their records
Jim Harbaugh really changed that team. Because while 2015-2017 was a tire fire the 03-2010 stretch was really bad
Mike Singletary Post Game Press Conference where he goes off on his team and Vernon Davis. This is after the San Francisco 49ers were destroyed by the Seattle Seahawks
This article is from 08 omao
Lmao
Forget I said anything
Singletary was such a douche
He had the attitude of a good coach, but the man couldn't motivate his teams to do shit despite shit like this.
Davis was seen as a headcase beforehand.
So it really wasn't new.
Really is amazing how a 6-10 team in 2010 went to 13-3 the next year.
Lakers W
Good win against the knicks in OT 🤝
The man was a shit coach
Tomsula was in over his head and Chip Kelly was a college head coach solely
Same as me. Late bloomer
Only started to care more during the first year of the BA era
Followed the Giants more due to family
U an Eli fan?
He should
The patience by Kevin Fiala 👀
Connor Bedard is automatic on the break.
• 21 goals over his 10-game goal streak
• 43 goals and 86 points over his 34-game point streak
It's all just too much.
229
86 points over a 34 game streak
Good for him. truly one of the most accomplished athletes in modern history
AND he’s going to be getting that Gisele alimony check hahahah legend
Sure he is
The Goat is hanging it up
I'll believe it when training camp starts and no rumours about him wanting to come back happen
I believe him this time
Truly grateful on this day. Thank you 🙏🏻❤️
Looks real to me
Never hated Brady 🤷♂️
Good for him
i kinda stopped hating him after eagles beat him in 2018 and he pulled off 2 more SBs afterward
i found that kinda impressive
Man came back, ruined his marriage, got blown out in the playoffs by Dak Prescott and left. What a way to go out
Gets paid by his ex wife though and that’s baller
i never understood why ppl care about their marriage
Same but, celebrities !
I don’t get intruding on their lives but also when someone is famous and shows themselves in a relationship publicly
Well then it comes with the territory
Okay. Hopefully you won’t unretire this time. Been a great time seeing you play, Tom.
Gives Kuch a run for his money.
The Dolphins rumors can finally DIE.
Also watching sports news right now is kind of hilarious because they're talking as if he died
When the dude on Get Up was like "We have breaking news." in the super serious and somber voice, I thought somebody had died.
The NFC really is in dire need of good young QBs
WHAT
Nah they have the next GOAT
Rayne Dakota Prescott
Oh and some dude playing in the Superbowl or somethin...Braylen Pains or something like that?
brady retired again huh
But yeah it's basically just Jalen Hurts in the NFC 😭
Well maybe Kyler and Justin?
If I stretch it, Daniel Jones?
u have tua
Nah I was talking about this
Tua is in the AFC
The NFC South is gonna be a meme next year 😭
It already is one
every team below 500
6-11 playoff team
where is buc
Kyler doesn’t even come close to Mahomes/Allen/Burrow kind in the AFC. Especially as he recovers from his ACL tear
You are spitting
But the NFL is lopsided rn
When it comes to QB talent, at least
Thomas Edward Patrick Brady is my number one opp, but he is the undisputed goat of my favorite sport.
Feeling kinda conflicted
Cuz this man has been the most frustrating thing since I started watching football
But it'll feel kinda weird without him
Then it’s just hurts really
Fields is a good runner but he’s far from the passer those guys are
Fields. Here’s my argument. BEARS FOOTBALL!!
Yeah that's a pretty good argument
What is the Mahomes/Burrow of the NFC?
It doesn't exist
nfc is a revolving door each year
Davis Webb and Kirk cousins
That means, THE BUCS GAHNTA SUPEP BOWL WITH KYLE TRAS-
Yes
You happy?
Well he's our
Best transfer so
Obv

Ouattara made so much difference in just 1 game so it's actually really hopeful for us now
Nice
Hope you survive
I trust my scouts
And lerma

Remember your goat
Yeah
His signing fee looks like something current Bournemouth would do

121M signing for 5M on FPL
I wouldn’t
I wish him well but I wasn’t impressed
He deserves the 5M on FPL
He deserved his fee
Mount is 7.4M
That's someone who doesn't even play
Actually idk if there's anyone like that
:ohno
Noo
Oh maybe it’s different from dream team
How much is lerma
I’m guessing 14.8 at least
Sanchez 4.3
Mina is 4.3 as well
He may be Colombian but he plays for spurs
The Mina disrespect
How about Luis Diaz?
I like Diaz
He's 7.8
But he’s injured
So I rate lerma higher
I’d rather have a fit above average player than a world class injured player
Fair
Like I said he’s our best player at the moment
I hadn’t seen a Colombian being a regular starter for a premier league club ever
I have only respect for the lad
This would be the ideal 11 rn
Though I don't know how good Zabarnyi is
Senesi has been a bad signing and I don't rate Kelly and Stephens that much anymore
It is a very young lineup though
People said Vina is trash (Mostly Roma fans)
He will probably play over Zemura anyway
Yeah Lerma can be the ball winning midfielder
Billing used to be deep lying playmaker but he's different this season as he played as a striker even
Can see him being box to box
He should shoot more
Yeah he is good at longshots
He has good long range
If biling is going as a forward don’t you want to send one of the strikers off for a cdm
Solanke is good and Semenyo is good too
So we won't be needing him at the striker position I think
That was like the extreme mode of Bournemouth
Playing a CDM at striker lmao
Yeah but you still need someone to help lerma out
He usually has barrios or Uribe helping him with Colombia
Which gives him what he needs to win games
He's realllllllly needed in the team at all positions
If he's a striker defense will crumble
Mepham was good for us in our dark runs
And even the unbeatable 5 game streak we had
He got player of the month from the club
Mepham?
Yes
Should have been lerma

I think this will be the lineup later on in the season
Depends how new signings turn out obviously
Might change Rothwell for Tavernier
He had those 2 good games but then quiet though so idk
Lewis Cook
He's been here for a long time
Gotta give him respect
He's very average
Put him under billing
Gustav Nyquist is out for the season, per #CBJ, but doesn't require surgery. He was considered a deadline trade chip prior to suffering his injury.
**correcting an earlier tweet, since deleted
So diresprctful lol
Calling a guy who has a season ending injury a guy who was a trade deadline e chip
They’re gonna have the full Cleveland Monsters roster playing at this rate
Way cooler name than bluejackets
Hey Washington why not get called the Washington swamp dragons?
Beats the commies
And then they’ll become the kalamazoo wings
That’s their roster and bedard next season
Laine - bedard - gaudreau and a bunch of scrubs
Is there a team called the Kalamazoo wings?
Yes
Nice
The Kalamazoo Wings, nicknamed the K-Wings, are a mid-level professional ice hockey team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. A member of the ECHL's Western Conference, Central Division, they play in the 5,113-seat Wings Event Center. They are the affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League, and the Cleveland Monsters of the American...
It’s no Rochester raging rhinos but it’s up there
Wish the logo was better
What’s a Kalamazoo
Yeah it looks bad
So brady finally retired for good. Do you think it'll stick this time or will he change his mind again?
Nah he’s going to fox
Yeah but not playing football
He should become player-manager
Chad tier name
No more broadcasters going on about a 45 yead old playing qb
Rodgers prolly doesn't retire now considering he likely doesn't want his hall of fame being overshadowed by brady's in the same year.
Yeah the nfl doesn't really do that sanjuan
No one does that
Yeah not really a thing here
Ngl I’m getting Stockholm syndrome for Brady
Could be the first
I miss having a villian
Legm actually happening
There's always a villain you just gotta wait
Don’t worry Jalen hurts is going to spank the giants for a very long time to come
Grr
Who knows, Jalen or Patrick could become it
Or burrow
I don’t think they’ll become as big a one as Brady but we will see
Also eagles aren’t winning the division next year
I mean almost no one has ever been as big as Brady
Brady turned into the Jordan football
Who are then the cowboys?
It'll be the Eagles barring injury
Pretty much
Washington
About to become the biggest salt shaker on earth when the eagles win a sb
Only thing Washington really needs is a decent qb. Maybe coach too but ron isn't going anywhere sadly at least not this year. oh and new owner obv.
Wait wentz isn’t a good qb
But I have full faith in mahomes
Philly and indy could have told them already
Maybe Washington can get Carr. That could be a decent fit.
Got to have more pirates
Umm, one big problem with that. Our cap situation.
Doesn’t carr’s contract expire?

Like if he really wanted to he could take like 10 mill and go there
I think you have to trust Trask for a season and hope to get a QB in the 2024 draft
Pretty sure the raiders are going to cut him
Can’t imagine anyone wants to pay that contract
If carr does go to washington he would be the best qb that Terry McLaurin has had lol
Terry getting a qb that’s above league average
Keep Derek carr away from Washington
Rip nfc east
No bias
Don’t worry they’ll get tannehill
One day the giants will get an eletric young qb
Really the only other options for the Bucs on the cheap is the likes of Jacoby Brissett or Daniel Jones if the Giants don’t keep him
isn't jones an unrestricted free agent?
Yeah, I think they didn’t take his 5th year option
We didn’t
at least Saquon seems to want to stay a giant
Daily reminder the Giants could’ve had both Josh Allen and Nick Chubb
The jags one?
Jets could have had Allen as well
Being a NY Football team is a disease
Dang could have had Rashad gary or tj Hockenson
Or ed Oliver
Or deebo Samuel
You know that Myles sanders guy is pretty good also
Giants really being the only team that can say they missed Josh Allen twice
i could see the jets offering Daniel jones big money to come there if no other qb wants to go to the Jets
If being an NY football team is a disease then being a FL football must be a plague
of sunshine and sadness
2 states of football nonsense
We hold that 0-26 record with pride here, sir
NY 🤝 FL
Youth football hotbeds
Pro football disasters
Tampa had a superbowl recently tho. Some teams would do anything for that.
Dolphins and Bucs both have 2 rings each
Browns hold their 1-31 record with pride
And the giants also have 2 super bowls in the last 15 years
And one of them had the perfect season
And the giants ended one
Sab cries inside
A glorious moment
18-eLi
but those 2 sbs were against the Goat QB and the Goat coach. Makes them mean more tho .
True true
I guess my point is that the Giants, Jets, and Bills as a whole are just as depressing ( really more considering how old all 3 franchises are ) as the Dolphins, Bucs, and Jaguars
*New York sports
Unfortunately true
Virgin one NY team making the playoffs vs the Chad Florida teams making the playoffs
Getting divorced from a supermodel to end up losing to Ridder and Dak to end your career.
If you're gonna go out - go out in flames i guess.
117
Wow is it true
He was getting divorced anyways
Brady finally retiring?!?
Good for him
I still can’t get over that he gets money from her lmfaooo
Imagine being the goat QB and getting money from your rich ex wife
Baller
Incredible
Boss af
When Brady somehow has a sugar mommy
You could always be the Lions tho been around 92 years and not even a sb appearance let alone a win.
Oh Detroit sports are also misery
Don’t forget those poor Ohio teams
Thank god I don’t have to worry about Brady anymore though
The factory of sadness
Cleveland Skidmarks
No that’s scotia bank arena
Couldn’t even go 0-32 right
The hornets might be up there
Absolutely depressing franchaise
Texans are also bad with no sb appearance but at least they have the excuse of only being around since 2002.
Oh there’s the la clippers also
Haven’t known the broncos as anything other than a shitshow
But only been a fan since like 2019
The Texans almost never knows what they’re doing. Took them almost 10 years to get one winning season.
The Cardinals been around since 1898 125 years. Last NFL championship was 1947. Only one sb appearance. no wins.
When the times get tough I remind myself it could be worse: I could be an Arizona sports fan
However surprisingly the cards are undefeated at home in the playoffs lol. 5-0 only NFL team who have never lost a playoff game at home. SO at least they have that.
So if we replace the eagles with the cardinals then they will win a sb

If only the cardinals could come in with a steel chair and knock both teams out
The hell is this
And with that, the last ever Montreal Expos draft pick is gone from pro sports
Until the expos rejoin the mlb
They’re not.
QC will never have a team again
That city will never get another MLB team
I don’t want the league relocating another team to Canada, as cool as it is
Former Expo fans every August 12th
Nah keep it 32 idk it’s good how it is imo
Bettman has literally said if there is expansion they’ll consider Quebec City
Idk they’ll do it at some point
For money
They lost their chance when the Canes decided to stay in Raleigh
That’s fucked, 33/34 team league isn’t a thing for any league in this country
Already considering having 84 regular season games
NHL doesn’t have the money like the others do
I think all leagues will expand once more in time. But not for the next decade
Interesting. That creates a huge ripple effect
Expansion usually reflects on the health of the sport
It literally creates more jobs
Also more talent is needed
No one wants to see a bunch of new teams suck for a decade
There is a point to that. That's why I understood why the NBA hasn't expanded yet. You couldn't convince me that most of the 2010s was a healthy time in the NBA.
Why do this to me
That’s not a nice thing to say
Hockey is a winter sport
Send teams North
Too bad money doesn't care about those stuff.
Sadly
I have to choose a team 6h away in another country
Because they don’t want to let me have the nordiques
Hahaha why would he take a massive pay cut to do that
You’ll get Kyle trask and Mitch Trubisky
I don’t like the independalist aspect of the Habs
Maybe if they brought back the maroons
No thanks I hate Toronto
Too far
Sens would be my backup
Brady having only 3 mvps is a shame
Literally the best case scenario happened
He should’ve won it last year over Rodgers
Fr, just opened up so much cap space
No more media all over us.
I hate the team not you men
Don’t say that to me
Never said anything about a pay cut, just memeing
I meant the Sabres
Brady was never flashy enough to be considered MVP compared to Peyton or Rodgers.
Oh yeah you can hate the sabres
English and your pronouns men
Still confuse me sometimes
You being singular and plural still confuses me sometimes
I get that
Other languages like French are more clear
Also using they for singular and pulse
You know what I don’t get.. why the “u” for words like color, flavor, or favorite
The English language makes no sense. lol
#49ers QB Brock Purdy needs Tommy John surgery and is expected to miss about a year, according to notable orthopedic surgeon Dr. Mark Adickens.
A return in 6-9 months is unlikely.
Adickens is a former NFL player himself, was the 5th overall pick in the 1984 supplemental draft.

😬
Yikes
Called it though
@dim ledge sorry to ruin your day
Great
Oof
To put this in perspective. Tyler Glasnow required it in the summer time in 2021 and didn't play another game till near the end of the 2022 season.
That’s brutal elbow or shoulder surgery is the worst
Especially for a b or pitcher
100%, putting him back in made it worse
As someone who's had that injury but can't have the surgery
Lance quite literally given a life line because Jimmy is gone and Brock probably is out all year
The brittish pronounce it differently
Dang that’s rough
Sucks for Lance though since we don't know how much he can progress. But he needs to hold onto that lifeline for all he's got next season.
I just learned purdy was a real person
Hey, you still got Buccaneers legend Josh Johnson to play with.
I always thought it was a Brady not nice nickname
So does SF draft another QB late or possibly try to bring back Jimmy? I imagine he’d want to force the issue of being the starter
The funniest thing I’ve seen as a nfl fan is the jets winning their way out of record Lawrence
Jimmy is gonna be paid bigger money else where.
It’s a devastating injury
- wed do better drafting deep on a cheap rookie contract with the cap we gotta clear for Bosa
Yeah I figured either the Jets or the Texans might be all in on Jimmy rn
QB has to be addressed again
Yeah and it’s possibly a career tender
You gotta commit to Lance. You traded a lot to move up and get him, you have to start him for as long as he can stay healthy
And it’s such a shame for him personally. Teams will always take a chance but it’s going to take a lot to prove to a team that he’s worth anything long term after that type of injury
Could probably see about adding someone like Heinicke for a cheap back up, even in a worst case scenario where he’d end up playing he always seems to string together a bunch of wins
Nah. Really do think we'll expend a pick for a qb
We really went from Brady to either Trask, Daniel Jones or Heinicke.
In the draft ofc
Embrace the tank brother
Burn it all down
But Bowles said no tank.
Nah I’m good
I'm just gonna hope Brady gave Trask some of his magical powers and Trask suddenly has a Mahomes season.
Why take a backup caliber qb when lance has proven to at least be half decent when he’s played
And actually knows the damn system
I also feel the niners would go for a vet too, maybe along w a pick
Like I don’t want a meh qb who doesn’t know the sustem
Or overpay for some average vet
Like I ain’t want 20 mill to tannehill man
If Monken does become our OC again that sets us up nicely for next year if we tank properly, Bowles out, Monken our next HC, and hopefully a top 5 draft pick to get Maye or Williams as our QB
It’s not just Purdy but it’s Jimmy that they need to replace too. A backup vet just makes the most sense for them, given Lance’s health
I am going to be so pissed if they overpay for a guy like Carr or wentz
Or washed Matt Ryan
They can’t go into the season w Lance 1 and some rookie as 2
I can only hope Trask does good. But I knew from the start he may not be the guy when BA said he reminded him of Brad Johnson. Bruce, you don't win with a Brad Johnson QB in today's NFL.
That’s what I’m thinking
Unless that rookie is like a top pick which I can’t see SF making another huge trade to move up for a QB again so soon after doing it for Lance
Just okay lance please
For those wondering
Yeah Buc. 100% Niners will get a vet QB this offseason
I really don’t want to lose good picks and actually decent players for a meh qb
Ffs
My right elbow which is my injured one, this is as far straight as it goes
Jimmy could count too, to be fair
Normal left for comparison
The worst thing is to get some meh qb with high picks and then have jack shit when lance or that qb sucks
Dang that’s tough
Woof
Only have gotten a discolated index finger
But it works fine now
The positive is that Kyle is a wizard so maybe a guy like Tannehill could be a sneaky good fit for no reason
If the Niners don't have faith in Lance, then quite frankly, both Lynch and Kyle need to be shown the door. Why should I trust Lynch to draft another QB?
Why can’t you get the surgery? Allergic to anesthesia?
Haemophilia
Damn
Would bleed too much into the joint during surgery
Dang

That sucks
The only option for me would be a complete replacement but even that only lasts so long
Hope it doesn’t affect your daily life too much
- my body could refuse it
It does but not as much as it used to
This is my dominant arm
That’s good
You cannot get rid of a combo that’s gotten you to a championship game in 3 of 4 seasons, that’s sooo harsh man
I have chronic pain in my left bicep that can stop me from doing heavy stuff for long periods. So I can't imagine how much worse a pain like that is.
Not if they keep fucking up the most important position in the game
I do have a pinkie toe that hasn’t healed properly
Your foundation should always start with the QB period.
So that hurts if I walk too much or sit for too long
Yeah it’s like not being able to get a good goalie
You can twin if all you can do is get other feam’s vet castoffs
Teams have fired good people for way less so I get it
But if I were an owner I could dare fire Lynch / Kyle rn
Kyle isn't going anywhere
Yeah too much success
Definitely can’t see shanahan
Does lunch get fired? I don’t want to but also like it ain’t impossible
Yeah, but you also have to account for the fact Lynch traded a lot of draft capital for a guy who they don't have 100% confidence in.
Idk man they did last season h th en he got hurt
If SF wants to go back to being the Lol cow it was for the couple years inbetween Harbaugh and Kyle then go ahead, any team needing a new HC will snap him up in a heartbeat
Like purdy was always d going to be a backup
Before they had to put him in
I stilll think lance would be starting for the entire season if he didn’t get hurt
Or they clinched a playoff seed / were mathematically rlkmjnated
If lance rid a bust sure but they didn’t shown a lack of confidence in him going into his second season
They fully expected Jimmy g to be gone or traded not to sign a cheap deal
If they grab a vet for the sake of it, you might need to start questioning things
But Jimmy g was clearly as a backup
Of course the football gods won't allow the Niners have anything and injuries are probably gonna do their thing again.
What do you want a terrible backup qb?
Lol
Like how is that good for the team
Again the only reason Jimmy was there was because he was willing to take a massive pay cut to do so
It was purely a business move
They tried to shop jimmmy over and over again
But dude refused to get surgery
I'll tell you something about backups. It's not so much how good they are, it's how they fit in a system. This is how Blaine Gabbert has been in the league for so long.
So they could t have shoppped him
So isn’t it better to have a backup that fits the system
And not take some guy off of another team who doesn’t know it at all
If they do sign a vet, they need to make it apparent that he isn't there to fight for the starting job.
Really do hope for Lance, because he's been screwed enough the last few years even going to his last year in college.
I didn’t hear much saying that he was there to fight for it
From what I remember heard a lot about the plan being to start lance
With Jimmy G still there, there was always gonna be that tension. Hopefully Lance won't feel that way now
Yeah for sure
But like it wa a tough
Jimmy g had no value if teams weren’t sure that he could play for them on time
And without a legit contract that could be traded for they weren’t going to trade for him
I totally get that perspective but jmo just feels like a circumstantial move
That's also on the Niners because they believed in that outdated philosophy of the rookie QB needs to sit for a year. Completely fucked over Jimmy G's value.
Honestly does amaze how pros in this the sport of football don't look at the numbers the last 20+ years and realize how stupid it is.
Tbh think the biggest mistake was riding Jimmy g after lance went in
The team wasn’t mathematically eliminated but it was for sure struggling
Also putting Jimmy g in after lance did well against the Texans was a bit weird
When the team clearly wasn’t very good
I’d have rather gotten spanked and lost in the wild card to the cowboys with lance than Jimmy g giving false hope
A Lance at the level when he was as rookie wasn't much worse than a game manager QB that was Jimmy G.
Yeah for sure
Boy, at least Favre had an agenda when he retired and unretired again. lol
And Jimmy g was banged up also
What was favres agenda?
He really had no business playing in that state
To play on a NFC team.
Sending unsolicited pics, robbing millions of poor people, losing the Vikings another game?
You know, to get the chance to beat his former team.
So Brady should join the dolphins
The 49ers got so lucky that the rams imploded
To beat the pats
My god shanahan and lynch would have been flamed if they lost that game
Which game
The last game against the rams
Already been said the Phins are not interested in Brady.
That’s after the emails leaked
Everyone e brought up mcvay’s undefeated record when leading after half time
I mean he always does against us
U know we will prob never beat the 9ers again but the fact the one time we beat them was the NFC championship im content
Like they should have moped the floor with them
I can’t recall but in ur tanking year
Did we even beat u LOL
pretty sure y’all had 2 wins and we might have been those 2 wins
Honestly does feel like groundhog day with coaches every year when it comes to 1st/2nd round QBs. They look at Mahomes and Rodgers and think that's the norm when the likes of Matt Ryan, Joe Flacco, Mat Stafford, Cam Newton, Russell Wilson Derek Carr, etc have shown that's not the case at all
The year before trey
Yeah 2020 don’t believe the rams won
