I think Quebec City could succeed. Like a lot of the canadian teams left in the 90s because the league was a lot different back then. Some owners couldn't pay for their players. Now with the salary cap, it's all fair game across the league. It's why the Jets were allowed to come back.

I think it’s a shame that the only team near me is the canadiens whose core values I don’t agree with so I have to go support a team outside the province. I could have gone for any other team, I chose Buffalo but point is it’s difficult supporting the canadiens if you’re not an independendantist which I won’t get into details in because it’s prohibited by the channel

It's another thing too. That Quebec market at this point is all Habs. Like for example. when the Devils or Islanders are bad to mid, their attendance dips hard.
