Basically, Magnus Carlsen is the best chess player in the world, like the Lionel Messi/Lebron James of chess, he played in a major chess tournament a couple weeks ago, where he lost to Hans Niemann, another highly ranked chess player that’s 19 years old but NOWHERE near Magnus’s level, this was viewed a HUGE upset by the chess community, after the match Magnus posted on Twitter the famous Jose Mourinho “I prefer not to speak” clip, which made a lot of people wondering if something fishy was going on with Hans (cheating), THEN Magnus and Hans played again in another separate tournament, where Magnus basically quit the match not even 2 minutes in, Hans has come out claiming his innocence, and Magnus has started relatively silent until now, the twitter post above is a statement he made a couple hours ago on twitter about the controversy

Defense is elite this year so far for sure. But I think things will go back to normal when everyone is healthy. But Leftwich will become the next Adam Gase if he ever get's a HC job.
A good OC knows how to help his receivers get open. But the fact that it takes elite receivers like Evans or Godwin to make the offense work says a lot more about Leftwich as offensive coach.

That's just 1 of the few reasons they don't watch it and I think that's true especially when games start at 7-8 AM for east coast peeps. But there's multiple other reasons such as lack of playoffs and parity, it being a slow paced game/not much scoring, teams time wasting and diving for pens, no salary cap or draft system which would help out smaller clubs be contenders instead of constantly remaining in the dumpster... It's the format itself that doesn't appeal I guess and I totally get it tbh. I kinda like the American sports model more these days as it seems more interesting. The best bet of getting the west's interest is a franchised closed league like the NFL. (European Super League) but I really doubt that happens lol.... unfortunately.
