Yeah each team is ultimately ranked/graded based on their performances through out the season and then ultimately those numbers show where each opposing team your fantasy player is going up against are ranked
Lamar going up against 4th ranked Miami D is based off of their performance last week against the Patriots where they held them to only 7 points
As well as Miami getting multiple sacks (tackling the opposing team's QB while they have possession of the ball) as well as the takeaways they got
Now based on a 1 week total (since that's how much of the season has based to this point) Miami is considered this week to be the 4th best defense and thus a tough match up. If Lamar plays well then that ranking will obviously change to even out between their Week 1 and 2 performances
