Harry Potter Fantastic Beasts new movie. + the other 2 ||There's a lot of good about this movie and some bad. First the bad.

The Queenie joining Grindelwald plotline is still bad. Joining the guy that wants to basically destroy the muggle world and somehow you get tricked into thinking he'll allow you and a muggle to marry was a main bad point of movie 2, and it carries on into movie 3. Yusuf Kama was completely unneeded in this movie and literally did nothing. Replacing him with Nagini in a similar role and having her tell him a way to secretly contact the dumbledores would have been much cleaner. Aberforth somehow doing it secretly doesnt make sense anyway and should just let Albus in on the plan. And while I understand they wanted to keep Jacob alive as a parallel to Albus and Grindelwald's relationship and how Jacob gets his happy ending and Albus doesnt, Grindelwald using crucio on him over avada cadabra is a cop out.

While Kama was a bad addition, Lally, the professor was quite a good one. Her character was fun and her demeanor was charming. It also ties back to the character in the book that Flammel was speaking to so that's no longer a mystery. The movie did not shy away from Dumbledore and Grindelwald loving each other and how it pains albus at least to fight against who he once loved. Credence, I feel was handled well in this movie compared to the 2nd movie. He slowly slips out of Grindelwald's fingers due to Albus/Aberforth and making him the child of Aberforth makes a lot more sense than being a brother like Grindelwald fooled him into thinking. Bunty having a crush on Newt is kinda weird but sweet, but I just hope it's not gonna create an awkward love triangle in the next movie, which it shouldn't judging by how Newt is still captivated by Tina. I was surprised Tina wasnt included in this movie, probably a real life scheduling issue, but I felt Professor Lally was a good replacement. More Theseus was cool too although no mention of litawasstrange||

Finished LOTR Return of the King ||Was cool and nice. Kinda got bored at points when the hype battle scenes weren't present. The climax was handled very well. Sam's actor was a highlight in providing the emotions for the veterans really tense scenes. In the end, Gollum was a bitch, and died a bitch, tragically nice arc he had. I liked the epilogue scenes and how Gandalf wanted the crowd to bow down to the Hobbits, honoring their contribution to destroying the ring regardless of race.||

I'm just here watching all the behind the scenes DVD content now, learning about Tolkien as an author now. Kinda crazy the interviewees stated that the three books were only the tip of the iceberg, and that it didn't adapt everything despite the extended cuts.

Gus - just as goated of an antagonist in this series as Breaking Bad (perhaps better, and more anti hero)
Chuck - though I hate him, he brought a lot of substance to the earlier seasons that has a coherent transition to the latters
Mike - knowing him from BB and seeing his hot and cold side made everything he did seem incredibly exciting and suspenseful
Saul - the Jimmy to Saul transition for me felt like self acceptance in a way that's very respectable in terms of character growth
Lalo - Excellent antagonist whose presence makes you nervous without the mental and physical limitations we see in Tuco and Hector
Howard - We love a good cookie cutter corporate douchebag, but his moments of good intentions and honestly had strong story impact
Nacho - The threatened double crosser whose life can go at any moment from even the slightest slip up is always fun to have
Daniel - Only like this guy cause he pushes Mike into Salamanco territory (leading to Gus) in a very humurous and "fun to watch" way
Hector - Seeing who he was, how he was, and what happend to lead to him to his breaking bad state was very well illustrated imo
