Steelheart's weakness is belief, belief of goodwill. Steelheart can only be hurt if someone thinks he is just, that he is a hero. David's dad believed Steelheart was just, a hero, so he was able to hurt him. The whole propaganda of Steelheart committting more atrocities than he already did (well he did a lot even without the fake news) was a result of him being paranoid. He can't take any chances. ||
