BB S5 ||For the most part, I get it now. Season 5 was way slower than any previous season. I think they sadly had to slow down the momentum because Season 4 was just that much crazier. We had to focus on Jesse a bit more too with his conflict with Walt as well as setting up Madrigal with Lydia and Todd's neo-nazi group. The first half of the season acts as Walt popping the hell off as Heisenberg even though the people around him are clearly becoming aware of his changes. It's actually kind of insane how far the nonverbal acting goes, people can just tell you something even without any dialogue. The second half feels like a really giant payoff, so maybe people didn't like those first like, 6 episodes and I get that. It didn't help that they lost a fan favorite in Mike either. But anyways, that last stretch of episodes to me was still as good as I remember. I can 100% see why people take issues with S5 though now.||

Tbf I think the difference is that I don't dislike stuff that easily. What if/Loki || what if for me started out as ehh but I ended up liking most of the later ones (except that Zombie episode which I have already complained to Scarlet a lot then lol). Dr Strange episode was the one that I really enjoyed to the fullest as it felt like Mystic arts than a action show with mystic arts sprinkled.
Loki was interesting due to the character dynamics for me, and as it felt mostly as a setup for future movies and seasons - Kang the Conqueror and TVA - I couldn't judge it well until I could see how the rest of it plays. Had some good characters and some great dynamics, and it was fun to watch.
But yeah, nothing innovative I'll agree. ||

The Batman movie major spoilers ||cinematography went absolute nuts in this film. Pattinson killed it. I think that beginning scene with petty criminals just getting scared shitless thinking the batman was around was my favorite. I don’t know how alfred survived but I’m glad he did, I think I teared up a bit at that hospital scene Jesus Christ. I had a hard time following the twists ngl, still feel a little behind on the whole mystery. As I understand it, Thomas Wayne was actually a good man, but he tried to cover up the fact that his wife was mentally unwell during his candidacy, but a journalist discovered it, and woudlnt back down after bribes and cease and desists etc, so Wayne asked falcone to scare him, but he ended up killing him. Wayne freaked out and tried to go confess, but he was murdered by someone (probably falcone?). But falcone mentioned that Wayne was Maroni’s man the whole time, was that true? And then the riddler was one of the orphans that was screwed over by the Renewal being taken over when Thomas Wayne died, but a shit ton of kids were forgotten about and ended up homeless living in the orphanage I guess? And god DAMN the ending, I couldn’t didn’t expect the entire city to be destroyed ngl.||
