The batman || Actually a perfect movie and easily the best batman movie (fuck mask of the phantasm). Everything about it was good Robert pattison killed it as batman and Zoe was a great catwoman too. Paul dano rocked as riddler. kinda sad they're going with joker in the future and that its barry kegan but what ever. really loved how batman actually was a detective this time, and never once fought the riddler. Really loved how prominent catwoman was and how she wasnt just a thief. The batmobile reveal and subsequent car chase were so perfectly done its crazy, and all the motor cycle driving stuff was good too. During the final fight i was thinking how much an adrenaline shot would help and then he pulls one out so that was pretty perfect for me. dont know what else to say ||

The Batman ||Holy shit what did I just watch, might be the best representation of comic book Batman I've ever seen. The shots were so beautiful, they looked like paintings brought to life. The music was incredible, michael giacchino still is one of the best composers ever. Loved the character arc Bruce goes through from being a driven by vengance to actually becoming the hero Gotham needs. When that random Riddler dude said "I'm vengance" chills went down my spine. Battinson might be my favorite perfomance of Batman on screen, but I didn't vibe a lot with his portayal of Bruce. Matt Reeves' direction is incredible. That car chase had me with chills the entire time. The first monologue made me so excited for the rest of the movie, it felt straight out of a Batman comic. The acting was really good as well. I thiiink the Dark Knight is still a better movie overrall but this one is a better Batman movie, if you guys get what I say.||
