Angela was too smart out of nowhere? like she's a good cop but idk man. Harrison pissed me off man switched up real fuckin quick. Dexter had to end with either him being caught or dying so they did that right. Dexter New Blood || I agree with everything you said here.. for me the build up after Angela was onto Dexter (basically first half of the episode) was done really well imo even though some of Angela putting pieces together felt a bit rushed. But after Dexter gave that hint about the missing girls, things just went a bit sideways. As for Harrison I kinda feel where he was coming from tbh cause Dexter never told him that sometimes he kills in order to prevent from getting caught. But everything after Harrison telling Dexter he needs to turn himself in kinda escalated too high for me. ||

Dexter New Blood || ok so I'm def excited to hear the new, but like hear me out on this.. what if they decide to do another season? Instead of it following Harrison like most people think will happen, Dexter didn't die immediately from the shot. I think Courtney Kemp said Tariq is meant to be an evolved version of ghost but he is missing ghosts combat skills and assassination technique. maybe in the future if there's a time jump they'll have the actor train and he can be on that type of shit.||

Oathbringer part 4 ||Overall really liked this part even if it was on the slower end. Everything about Dalinar in this book is fucking amazing. I love him trying to keep control of this coalition while also having to deal with his past coming full circle. Everything feels so fragile and precarious and then it seems to all be crashing down now. But I will say, am I the only one who has mixed feelings about the Shadesmar section? I liked a lot of the character stuff and it's nice to get interactions between Kaladin, Shallan, and Adolin but idk, I just had a pretty difficult time visualizing Shadesmar itself and what was really happening, it's still going tho so we shall see||

Wow, holy fuck. All done with Dexter. Some thoughts on the final episode of New Blood:

|| emotional as hell my god. I will say I enjoy it more as a conclusion than the original season 8 ending. Dexter having to resort to breaking the code in love for his son I feel like is the perfect way for him to go out along with his death. That ending nearly made me cry.

I see why people didn’t like this ending. I too wanted to Dexter to have a somewhat happier ending since what he did had good intentions somewhat and we’ve all loved his character, but I knew he couldn’t have lived with the fact that he was a killer and that he technically broke the code (he’s done that self defense thing with Logan multiple times before tho). I also wish we got to see Miami again and the reactions of all of Miami metro and the rest of the world but it’s all good. And honestly it could’ve been expanded by two episodes because some things needed to be fleshed out and sensible. ||

Anyway, this show’s been amazing. Great cast, writing, and enjoyment even at its lowest points. Another one in my top picks that I’ll remember foreva 👍

It was totally amazing, didn't expect that at all. || I feel like Jayce and Jynx weren't of my cup of tea all the time as characters but it was worth it with such an ending. But else than that, very good, very well done. It's extremely well written.

Sometimes I feel like they try too much to make all of their characters somewhat badass, sometimes it feels more like a play than a series but that's alright when you have the explosive writing that accompanies the Steampunk universe very well.

When I started the series I feared that it'd go into ease and not propose something different when it comes to a steampunk universe where there's a poor vs. rich dynamic. But it did not fall into ease by treating many different subjects, with mental health being a heavy part of it. The character arcs did follow well the story as I was interested into each of the characters. If I wasn't so, their background and the events surrounding them would make me interested into them.

Also, at the beginning the characters totally felt like cliché but the story made sure to break those images. Overall it's a greatly written story with very surprising plot-twist and outcomes.

My favorite character was Caitlyn and my favorite moment was probably the finale's ending. Excited for s2. Idk where they can go from there and I'm hyped to be even more surprised || Arcane episode 9 finale
