Witcher S2/books character comparison, doesn't actually spoil plot ||Can't say I am a fan of the Netflix yennefer. She had seemed fine in S1 but S2 she doesn't radiate the same vibes as the character in the books/games. There's a sense of elegance and royalty alongside extreme arrogance that she is supposed to have that is all missing in Netflix yen.
Freya Allan is pretty good. Manages to portray the character well imo. The fears and the stubbornness come out very well, though I think here expressions could be a little better.
Vesemir, eskel were cast well, gave me the right vibes, tho I didn't like Eskel dying 😭😭.
Triss was meh tbh.
Tissaia and Vilgefortz were cast very well, and Tissaia for me was extremely good especially.
Istredd and Djikstra were nailed spot on.
Filavandrel, Fringilla, Francesca, Cahir were alright, but nothing all that great tbh.
Finally, Geralt and Jaskier. Goddamn. These two have been fkn nailed. Cavill is an excellent Geralt, and Jaskier is beyond perfect. Just incredible.||
