The final season is the season where we can see all of that come to light

Going back to revisit it can show you how badly the writers actually fudged it up

I mean, they used the books, i appreciate the intent of modernization, but ||the Moriarty confrontation was soo dumb and without any hype, the finale with the secret sister was equivalent to the finale of game of thrones, a over used trope||. And basically talks to him about the possibility of stopping the Vengeance pact to focus on uniting Alethkar. But he gets turned down basically and Elhokar and others are worrying that he’s going mad and changing. Just started the chapter where Dalinar is having one of his highstorm episodes/visions. And Kaladin has become bridge leader and his crew got injured from the last assault. Love the Kaladin stuff but do wonder when he’s inevitably going to be free of this||

Way of Kings ||Just finished part 2 and goddamn. Things are being setup perfectly. Brandon's just been building up the Kaladin storyline slowly but steadily and I can tell there's going to be a turning point soon. There's some really nice themes about hope and humanity and the reason to keep on living. And I think I'm by far the most infatuated with Dalinar rn. I think he's probably going to have the most layered character arc, at least from what I've read so far that seems to be the case. I love how he endures the constant barrage from others around him who talk and scheme behind his back. I love his relationship with Adolin because he's not some super controlling parent. He trusts and listens to what his son has to say especially when he knows it needed to be said. It's great that Adolin is so up front with him too. The constant doubting in Dalinar's mind about what is the right way for him, is he going mad, should he listen to his visions and the codes/way of kings, is his collapsing reputation going to come bite him in the ass? And now he said he's gonna abdicate. Shit is interesting. Seems like Part 3 focuses on Kaladin and Shallan so shame no Dalinar but Shallan is interesting as well. Shang Chi || Wenwu was the clear antagonist who got through the way of the protagonists till the very end and he got imbued with such humanity within that process and his arc was truly of coming to terms with his grief, even until the end, Wenwu really was the true antagonist and having let go of that he got redemption, the Dweller in Darkness came about because of Wenwu lol, Wenwu is the insurmountable wall that Shang Chi and Xialing had to come to terms to till the very end ||

Dune || The Emperor is still not the main antagonist of Dune tho lol, it's still Harkonnen family, especially the Baron and Feyd Rautha ||

Dune || if anything, Shaddam is a side antagonist who gets caught in the crossfire of Paul's ascension to power ||

That's fine, if not a good aspect but the way it delivered all that worldbuilding for me is the issue

|| But yeah, everything was great except the little over the top gadgets/technology like the car having machine guns or the villain pressing a button towards the end and there's somewhat of an elevator right underneath him those little cliché were bad on paper but they felt sorta humorous to me in the making so it's not as bad, but yeah else than that I wouldn't change anything in the movie. I'd say that my opinion has a low weight cuz I saw only one james bond and don't know about the plot but it was really entertaining with a really good story etc. I was genuinely impressed by the action, acting, and the constant surprises.
