imagine waiting 10+ years for the bad ass ruined king reveal and we get this
it was alarmingly bad
rip yorick
all this league talk i think i will terrorize my adc with syndra support
this ones for arcane
@pale tapir @unique cosmos incredibles 2 was alright but monsters university was horrible indeed
Ill go back and watch some old pixar movies

monster university was good smh
Incredibles 2 was very contained
ugly ass hero designs
It was just filled with tired old stereotypes
Idk I feel like that was the point of it
An 80s college movie but in the monsters inc universe
The concept really fit for me idk
Incredibles 2 was just kinda hollow imo
Like their basic plan was to make part of it a cheesy family sitcom that didn't mesh well at all
Felt like a hotel transylvania sequel lmao
First time watching Thor 1, god damn it was awful
I hate this movie so much, it checks every single cringe moment
People usually say that about the second one. Not the first
Hmmm maybe it is
Last time I see marvel was the avengers but Thor 1 was the only one I haven't watched
I like iron man and captain America, but this movie is just so cheesy
Yeah I can see that. It’s def not as good as avengers and even TFA imo. But I really liked that movie even though it’s not that popular
Yeah
Was guardians of the galaxy phase 1 or 2?
If not then the only movies from phase 1 that were really good was iron man 1 and avengers
Im watching toy story 3 now and wow its great
Yeah it’s goated
Buncho huggy mammal the chad
Yo btw
@sage sleet Maya || if Chimi doesn't pick Rico I'm bouta stab somebody ||
Idc who
bro don’t stab me
Honestly I’m on ep 7 n I’m like bruh this came out of nowhere
stable?
I’m glad it wasn’t just me that was visibly upset at that
Like pichu had same shit as Rico but like
Not enough
I wish Rico talked legit 5% less but great character
Also chimis va
She’s good. Rosa from Brooklyn 99 but idk why she bugs me
I’d say celeb casting but all 4 main characters are celebs
I agree with every statement
Ricos whole story is so messed up you want him to succeed
|| like everybody else has backstories that it seems like they can move on from easily but my man has some deep self-esteem issues ||
|| then he gets some confidence only for it to be like "yeah sorry that woman you like is going for someone else so you can feel inadequate again buddy" ||
How does it feel to be marlin @fluid merlin
So amazing
I would say only the first one lol
@sage sleet starting Maya and the last three eps in a min
See what I did there? That was a uhh... That's called a joke
Pretty funny right?
Lettuce fucking go
I’m going to to a party tonight for a lil but when I’m back it’s maya time
Actual banger series

know whats crazy
as much cultural influence as seinfeild had, it couldnt make mimbo catch on
but some random 20 year olds on twitter made himbo a thing
and now its ingrained forever
Seinfeld is peak American comedy and nothing will ever beat it
Obviously I am heavily biased so don’t even try to start a debate
My name and pfp lmao
o I don’t get either of those references
its the name of hte character
seinfield is good but theres better american comedy
(scrubs)

I saw

New Ms. Marvel comic too
@sage sleet 👀
I watched Free Guy… wayyy better than I expected
It got pretty good reviews from what I remember
I don't think so
Rip
Been feeling some twin peaks. Need to finally buy it
Wait there totally is
And it comes with fire walk with me

Too bad it's out of stock

at some point in season 5 of seinfield alot more of the jokes became about referencing past episodes
Got my tickets for halloween kills tomorrow

||that skull face looks great these effects

I believe Imbalance is the last atla comic in the timeline before Korra

Suggest reading the comic as well
Finished Squid Game, Excellent series overall
||I really wonder if they’ll make a season 2. I would have preferred that he just got on the plane, moved on with his life. And also he didn’t help Ali’s family but idk how we would have done that. It’s a shame that didn’t happen considering he saved him in the first episode. That would have been a nice conclusion to the series. Self contained. It also seems like he was out for Vengance at the end and the detective is possibly still alive so maybe he could possibly do something in another season. I’m not against one, but a stronger ending would have concluded this season and made it a stronger show overall. More squid game potentially is hype though. Absolutely loved this show.|| Squid Game Finale
I love it how much exposition koreas cinema and tv have gotten last few years
Kingdom, parasite, burning, squid games
train to busan
Sopranos season 5 episode 9 || this episode was great the meadow and bf plot line was good but tony om therapy was amazing ||
I finally got a physical copy of WoT first book
Read 10 chapters so far
The writing style isn’t that bad lol I complained about it before
Also, the story is getting better now
its a great movie
||In my opinion the ending was very fitting, Gi huns arc throughout the series was him becoming more selfless opposed to the gi hun we see in the first episode who steals his moms money to gamble. Him getting on the plane would not fit because it would mean he prioritizes seeing his daughter over saving lives, which it’s implied hes trying to do by stopping the games. his daughter is fine so the only reason he would get on the plane is himself|| squid game
||Never even thought of that connection.||
@rich nimbus been super busy, but I'm about to start season 3 finally, so excited
This new intro is so hype too
LMAOOO
LMFAOIOO
Ayy finally yeah season 3 is definitely the best intro the sound of the sangen just hits
Oh my god. ||That was the most hype season premiere I think I've ever seen|| Scissor Seven S3 ep1
Such a gem of a show meant to be funny but also has a fantastic story line
||I love how the show isn't afraid to change it up. That full marks. Seven leaving the island is such a good shake up, and I think that after season 2, him going back to take on the shadow is dope af|| Scissor Seven season 3 ep 1
Bought vol 1 of lucifer
it includes some side story or something for like half the volume which is confusing and disapointing
time to see some horror for the season.
i realize now i never read the first 3 chhapters of lucifer because theyre not counted as the first 3 chapters on readcomics
and this side story is actually the first 3 chapters
So the Dune movie is going to be two parts
Oop, I gotta watch Young Frankenstein soon
Lucifer ||Is that the part he gets the letter of passage for stopping the old Gods?||
yes
Its probably just because its the most recent one i saw, but i reaaaaallly like the art in the first 3 chapters of lucifer
||Yeah agreed, my favorite thing is that Sang Woo gradually became worse and worse while the protagonist Seong-Gi became a better person because of it. Then that epic battle at the end showcasing their opposing viewpoints. Great cast of characters man. Ali, sae-byeok, and of course the old man were all great characters|| Squid Game
if the whole series looked like that i would have no problem
@feral kettle

Finished the first elm street movie
Cause it's like gouache or something. It's really good line art with amazing coloring. I would love if the series was like that as well.
Elm street || freddy was a terrifying villain the effects were fucking amazing the atmosphere
and nancy was a great main character ||
Zoomers making his way through the classics
After i finish elm street (only the first 3 after thats where i hear a lot of bad stuff about them) gonna watch the friday the 13th films
Only saw the first one a few years ago
Watching NWH trailer in theatres so much better
watched the mha movie
Nice
In the theatres ready to watch halloween kills
anyone here read Throne of Glass? my brother said a new book for a new series by the same author just came out called House of Earth and Blood

heard Throne of Glass was good so i might try both
same
Halloween kills was fun
how were your impressions?
Halloween kills || michael was just an unstoppable beast and it was fucking amazing to watch on screen, the kills were fun and brutal ||
was ok
not going into any spoils but i enjoyed it but didn't do much for me
ah I see
need movie recommendations
the assassination of jesse james by the coward robert ford
^
if you end up watching it, let me know what you think
Oof i need to rewatch it thanks wanze
I watch it every couple of months, my goat fr fr
will do
Who is deakin?
oh I typo'd but I'm talking about Roger Deakins. He's a cinematographer. Did a lot of critically acclaimed movies
to name a few
Yeah it's really amazing how in depth it goes into films and production
Deakins is a man of very few words
Assassination of Jesse James is very influenced by Andrew Wyeth's paintings
Absolutely beautiful images
Everything about that film is amazing. The casting, the directing, the soundtrack.
I literally can't get enough of it.
Yeah it's so good
Casey Affleck is the better Affleck truly
Such a great actor
Very underrated but he's so good
Rockwell fucking rocks, dude is amazing
Yeah the cast killed it
But the highlight of the movie is Deakin's work on it
Assassination of Jesse James || the train robbery sequence
||
||So good Red Dead literally just lifted it for one of their missions
|| Red Dead/Jesse James

Oh wow, i love villeneuves and coen borthers films
Rockwell is in Jesse James? Wow totally forgot
Yeah
@broken fossil rewatched the old dune, what an entertaining yet shit movie lmao
Yep lol pretty much exactly how I felt about it
anyone seen 'the wire'? if so, is it any good?
@wooden swift you’re up
Yes
It's my favourite television series I've seen
Anytime
its still the best tv show of all time
balkan has such a good taste
media, food.... women
I think it’s one of the greatest television series made in America. It’s a slow burn though so make your judgement after you’re far into the series
Pretty much on another level than anything else america has put on. Right up there with Seinfeld and Sopranos
Seinfeld on retrospect for me isn't that great after the first 4 seasons
A better show featuring awful characters doing awful things is It's Always Sunny
It’s always sunny and HIMYM are my favorites
Always sunny is good but idk if I'd put it higher than Seinfeld
They're both good in their own ways
Always sunny never would have existed without Seinfeld
Yeah it's better imo
Originality is important for some others for not
It built off what Seinfeld did and just added its own original flair to it and has been consistently great adding more to it as each season goes by
The characters in Seinfeld hit that sweet spot where they're terrible people but also some of your favorite people for me. The cast in always sunny is great but I don't think they hit that spot for me
I don't think most sitcoms do
The newer seasons of Always Sunny have added so much pathos to each character that its honestly hit a greater sweet spot than Seinfeld did for me
Always Sunny characters for me are funnier than Seinfeld characters as well
I give the likeability points to Seinfeld in this comparison tho
never understood why seinfeld was that great... but then I watched it as a kid and thought it, friends, fresh prince of bel air and all those shows were the same shit lmao
Well I think Seinfeld is slightly funnier but I also don't think I focus on sitcoms for comedy really. Just because most sitcoms aren't funny for me
I'm more about the characters, weirdly
Dressed up as ||green squid game Jumpsuit 001|| squid game , for bar hopping last night , and everyone was giving compliments to the costume and I didn’t even see anyone else wear it and some guy just randomly yells “real original!”
like ok bud thanks for the input
It's Always Sunny is sorta the anti-sitcom
Fresh Prince is completely different lol
Friends and Fresh Prince really don’t compare to Seinfeld. Like massive jump in quality. Should give it another shot now that you’re older
It’s crazy how there are no new sitcoms anymore on the same level of the ones like Always Sunny, Seinfeld, etc. like these type of shows are really a thing of the past now
Let's not diss Fresh Prince now. It was a basic sitcom but it damn near perfected the basic sitcom genre
Yeah it's weird how you can't find any genuinely funny shows anymore. My favorite newer sitcoms are things like the good place and the main appeal of that show for me was the story and characters
It had some good comedy for my taste but I can't watch anything new purely for the comedy
Yeah man I haven’t watched a newer sitcom besides sunny in so long
A lot of them make me cringe
But if people like them more power to you
Same, especially these ones on Netflix like Dad Stop Embarassing Me and Country Comfort. They’re just so bad. The only one I can tolerate is Family Reunion, it’s like strangely entertaining to watch
3rd season of You any good?
Liked the first season but was pretty unimpressed by the second
yeah the 3rd was good. Pretty suspenseful stuff, but wouldn't say it was a whole lot better than the 2nd
Agreed
You’re losing eye privileges
It’s more or less as good as the second , maybe some aspects shine brighter , not as good as season 1 tho still , I do like a certain bit that goes on through the season
||the therapy sessions 👌 lol|| you season 3
Anyone here read the sandman by neil gaiman?
No but it's on my list
I recommend it highly! It's one of the best comic books I've ever read! Also the audiobook makes it 10x better and it's free on audible!
yeah I keep telling myself I'll read it soon. but idk where to begin tbh
U just have to read the original '89 series it has 75 issues in total

Yeah can't imagine it honestly
If the league of legends series becomes a video game I’ll move to Africa
it is a game
when are u moving?
Nah bro that’s fake
Smh fate for believing in that propaganda
Anyone read wheel of time?
Already 200 pages in
BUT
I have one tiny critique
I feel like there isn’t enough dialogue 😅 like I lovee the quest type story. But I def have a hard time staying connected to the characters. It’s def still early for me to give this opinion but that’s the vibe I’m getting so far
WoT ||I really wanted to see more ineractions and dialogue between the two river folk since they are out on an adventure discovering new things||
It def felt like the complete opposite of when I read The Witcher, bc the witcher is dialogue heavyyyy
Which I didn’t mind
Also, Roberts Jordan’s writing has an emphasis on “show, don’t tell” when it comes to his character work
jerry seinfelds only redeeming factor is hes a superman fan
Hey man, just following up...in case you weren't swayed by the multiple people agreeing, I'll explain why I love the show as I literally woke up, saw blobs ping, and went back to nap haha
Really...I think that the show is easily the best representation of of tragedy in modern media. I feel it's also quite grounded in reality, where in comparison something like breaking bad or whatever, while wonderful, rides on the coattails of reality. In addition, they've wrought some absolutely fantastic characters, including one who may be arguably the best character of television in 2000 onward. I think one of the most important facets is that, despite the fact that it's a television programme, (this is why I specifically tout the reality of it) it really gives you an honest view into some of America's most impoverished communities and the understanding of low SES areas and everything that comes with it, although there's a large focus on drugs and how they impact different parts of the community
This made me smile, I really appreciate it man
Love Seinfeld dude, but I honestly think Larry David's magnum opus is CYE
That show is HILARIOUS
It’s more unhinged
It feels more like what Larry wanted to write
Yeah that's what hbo gets you
Working in the constraints he was on a public network I think Seinfeld is genius
I think Seinfeld is more laugh out loud funny
But curb is more laugh in your head funny
If that makes sense
As someone from NJ/NY that show is so much part of the culture here it's insane
I keep forgetting it's you, Balkan. And I don't know why with a name like that
I'd say Seinfeld and the Sopranos are easily the most influential programs for the area
If it makes you feel any better I bamboozled fats too

Yo what should I watch on Netflix
breaking bad
Already have
the good place

i thought atlanta only had 1 season

Wish someone warned me evil dead 2 retcons the first one
Don’t let it bother you
Lmao
This movie is conclusive evidence that sam raimi is a freak
And i cant wait to see how little of his own freakness is in dr strange
woah, I really appreciate this huge para. Im deffo gonna check it out when I get the opportunity. I find it interesting you compared it to breaking bad, cause that's probably my favourite tv show of all time, so I'm excited to see how the wire compares
anytime dude. i hope you enjoy it, figured i should write a more concise explanation than "it gud" since i enjoyed it so much and want others to experience
and for the record i still rather enjoy breaking bad, just in my statement i meant that like ||in comparison to the very much real situations in the wire, throwing a crystallised fulminate of mercury and blowing up a building or being able to hide under hanks nose for so long etc takes a bit away from the way i value the two shows in terms of how it deals with it as a tragedy; i still think breaking bad is brilliant in terms of being a drama and stuff, but i prefer tragedies to be rooted in reality. not to say breaking bad doesnt do tragedy well; the deaths of jane and (i forget Jesse's Mexican girlfriends name) were extremely gut wrenching and well done. i think those are the moments where breaking bad shined the brightest for me, and the wire has many events that tug at you similarly, so perhaps that played a part in my enjoyment. hope this helps!|| breaking bad spoilers
Another great tragedy is Mr. Robot
That's on my list
Tragedies always make for great TV dramas
Lmao
Even the Sopranos is a tragedy in a regard
Wheel of time readers wya
ig its interesting for me, because I do tend to prefer really fantastical shows, cause they're essentially escapism from how crappy real life can be. It's part of the reason why a series about a rubber boy who fights dudes was so appealing to me- and that's not to say I don't like shows that are very gritty and based in realism, I've just yet to watch one that I preferred over more wacky stories like One Piece. IG Breaking bad was basically my solution to a 'gritty story based in realism', but as you pointed out, it 100% has its moments that aren't necessarily the most realistic
Always open to trying new things though, im never gonna say no to watching a show cause of the subtext/genre or whatever
i stopped reading when i read the wire
should i not read this if i plan on watching the wire
Pasto she writes for CBR
think i will be watching the wire
Splendid
i think im gonna actually write out what i'm gonna watch n read
manage shit better
keep a personal sched too
man, i very much dislike friends now too
I really don’t like friends
Yeah I never saw the appeal
Definition of overrated imo
Then I had one girl who annoyed the living shit out of me I was seeing for a few weeks who tried to get me into it
That soured the taste of that show for me even more
I will say this before I head to bed
The Nanny was funny
Hate it when that happens bro
Dude it was awful but at the same time I didn't lose anything of value
friends is like the definition of barebones background show
and even then i'd rather have anything else in the background
i remember i got swept by the friends wave when i was young because i saw like my friends get into the show but holy hell looking at it now doesnt make me feel anything in the slightest
when i first moved to minnesota we didn't have cable or internet for a month or 2 so all we had was tbs and whatever channel had big bang theory
and friends and the big bang theory would play in the background
give us back shit like the george lopez show, my wife and kids, and everybody hates chris
never liked it but i never hated it only big it was just in the back
it tried too hard from what i saw
dude, just watch an episode actively and you'll regret it
harsh im rockin limited brain capacity i need the last of it man
it was interesting
i enjoy movies like that where it's just the characters livin their life
she's very fake n unappreciative which was weird
her mom kind of fucked
yeah thats her character, she is resentful
and the mom is overprotective
the tug of war is the basis of the movie
for sure
i'm sorry you can not make timothee cool i am sorry hollywood that guy is a dweeb
watch dune
you can make him cool until he opens his mouth
dude is cool as hell in dune
ok i mean in a real world setting lol
he is cool in dune bc he's not the typical teen character
hearing him say hella and talk about th government was v forced
maybe, dude coasts off the relatable charm, very well read too of what i've seen him
LMAO
he looks more like a dweeb than a typical cool guy
i haven't seen him in too many movies but if they keep him not "cool guy" then im down
yeah, he's not typically the cool guy
he admits it himself too, self aware in that sense
i can respect him more then
i have a big problem with celebrity casting
and it's just a me thing
so at times i'm put off by him
great actor i just hate that shit
but obv he's a talented actor so it's just a me thing
lmao have you seen dune
looks like train stops
cant wait for part 2
dune part 2 ||gonna be amazing seeing alia come about in the story
||
Why u guy shitting on popular series
I've only seen friends and big bang on yt and fb, bb didn't care too much about, but friends was quite lovely, from the short vid I saw at least
And this is actually my first time seeing anyone ever shitting on friends
it's just overhyped i'd say but it's not bad
But if I were to name my favorite western show, it will be Brooklyn 99
i need to get caught up on that i only watched a season or 2 maybe 3
It's gold
I think the mentalist is pretty good, tho I never got through with it
remind me what that is
They dropped the last arcane trailer btw
when?
Hmm
?
Of arcane
i thought it was only 9 eps long
Maybe 3 episodes each date
what did you mean 6 13 and 20
ohhhh ok makes much more sense
i thought it was supposed to by every 2 wakes but that's even better
ig that would be enough for the new champ for pbe if they can make it
It is a span of two weeks from 6 to 20, maybe they will release 3 episodes periodically?
Possible
release date to the 13th prolly gonna be the intro stuff then the middle shit
then the 2 week vacation prolly climax
i hope the end has a teaser of another teaser
*series
i can work with that
wouldn't be surprised if they showed champ on 20th
but that's hopeful wishing
i doubt thinkin back bc they said they can't do 2021 unless they wanna tease n get them out jan 2022

i already looked it up and got spoiled

I hate that shit
that sucks man, i feel for you
this shit kills my motivation to continue
watch the wire next if you havnt, and dont look up anything, ask here instead
Not interested in the wire
why not?
||Honestly man I love that scene where he looks at the family. My interpretation was he saw that family and got scared of living that kind of life, and that led him to ultimately make that decision. One of the most memorable scenes in the show for me|| sopranos season 6
That show is very vague and up to interpretation sometimes, love it

Dune made me get the book so that’s a plus
Nice
yeah i can only think of dune so far
Gotta finish the few books I’m reading rn before I jump into dune
If you’re into scifi read Book of the New Sun
buying more than 1 book at a time is such a pain
cause then you suddenly have build up
Love me some good sci fi
parasite was 2019 right?
Synopsis of book of new sun looks interesting, might check it out at some point
Wow the hardcover is 150 bucks on Amazon
look at half priced books
Paperbacks are so sleek
Get the paperback compilations that are two books each
yeah just checked, crazy good movies in one year, parasite, ford vs ferrari, once upon a time in hollywod, the joker, the irishman, jojo rabbit, marriage story, etc
Shadow & Claw / Sword & Citadel
this years pretty good for movies
Are what they’re called
way better than 2020
The compilations seem to be out of stock on Amazon
But the shadow of claw (if that’s the first one) is only 20 bucks or so
Not too bad
really enjoyed dune and the last duel
This is in stock
It’s the first two books
I havent seen the last duel
i should
i liked the green knight
oh yeah
this years candyman too
im conflicted about green knight, i want to like it but im feeling a bit iffy against it
Nice I’ll throw it on the list for the future
well its not even in my top 5 films this year but i reallt appreciate it
Enjoyed Dune but || wish it hadn’t cut some of the intrigue with Yueh, Hawat trying to find the traitor and suspecting Jessica, etc. Also the reveal that Paul is part Harkonnen|| book spoilers
I found dune confusing at some parts so I’m hoping the book explains it better
||Especially how exactly spice and this presence thing works|| dune movie
minari was good but im kind of sick of depressing movies
That’s what it felt like
I plan to rewatch it after I finish the book
But I’m glad I got to see those awesome visuals and sounds in theatre at least
And the concepts introduced while confusing were interesting enough to keep me engaged
Lucifer 50 || I hate this ken barbie stuff, it looks weird when you have 20 angels in one room as the main focus of the page and none of them have junk, either wear clothes or draw their junk ||
excited for last night in soho
funny review title for eternals || 'Eternals': A Marvel movie for everyone who complains about Marvel movies ||
is this true?
lets find out
it was an interesting read, now im hyped for it
especially after black widow and shang chi
No way you like that...
I have a friend who keeps shilling it
Sounds like the most pretentious thing ever
Swear with an oath its not pretentious
So there is a secret episode of Comunnity about dungeons and dragons
Wonder why is not in Netflix
Probably bc d&d its copyrighted
welcome back archer
Oh thats an interesting reason
That depends on what you’d consider pretentious. I’ll say it’s shilled for a very good reason. It’s one of the richest works in science fiction. It’s something you can read again and find something new about it every time. But it’s a story that’s meant to challenge you so you need to go into it with a certain mindset.
In other words yes it’s very pretentious
Also hi fellas

must be weird being an older actor playing someone with dementia
probably constantly worrying about it happening to you while you do it
Finished sopranos season Five
|| I didn't expect The FBI to raid john like that, i thought it was the one grey haired guy coming to kill tony or something ||
I see now
But also, the final episode of season 2 makes so more sense
Comunnity season 2 ||Pierce became one of the first modern examples on tv of the boomers vs the milenials, no wonder why Pierce went from a tone deaf old man with some sparks of reality sense to an active embittered bully duringthe whole season||
I don't know if im ok with it in retrospect
Its like the first hints of a heavy flanderization
Community season 2 || Pierce is like that because its suppose to be chevy chase, who is a real life asshole ||
Interesting, it seems is true
But a director and writer team should know how to address this kind of things, I'm not a fan of bringing the actor personal problems into series, that's why I disliked Charlie Sheen shows so much
Book of the new sun is better than anything Sanderson has ever and will ever write
🤧
I got your back, Archer.
I ain’t knew u liked shiz like that
That's a good show
Im watching Seinfeld rn trying to understand its popularity
Lmao
elr is king of queens tier to me
Which season you at
|| Oof shit, I was looking through the Dexter episodes list to see how many each season was, and I accidentally glanced at one of the descriptions which said the ice truck killer is Dexter’s brother. Not doing that again 💀 || Dexter season 1 finale spoiler
never ever do that bro
yea, it's a classic
used to watch it with friends, seinfeld etc on tbs
preferred it
Lol yeah
i want shah malan to directboruto live action
and make it the WORST FUCKING SHIT TO EXIST
Y
I finished Avatar

It was overall pretty good. I'll write up some of my thoughts later. Letting it sit and mulling things over.
The blue one or the good one
Squid game ep 9 cause I don’t remember the episode
Last Airbender
Are people still debating if it’s an anime or not?
no
Then it’s good

Didn't get it, who is the second guy?
Yeah I had no idea what was going on there
Zlatan Ibrahomobich, idk how to spell it, basically a football or soccer, whatever you like to call it meme
Just found a streaming service with all halloweens and friday the 13ths

Halloween might be over but my horror movie binge isn’t
o
Guessing the dude is a huge footy fan so it's kind of a slapstick thing where he jumped back in shock
Ep 7, not 9
As I said, I don’t remember the episode so I marked the last episode
Kk
Halloween 1978 || that music and sound when the kid runs into michael
||
It for real could’ve been that easy
Squid game ep 7 ||idk, they could’ve gotten shot for cheating||
||But yes||
Squid Game ep 7 ||They could’ve tried at least
||
Squid game ep 7 ||Had a brain in Tug of War, didn’t in the Glass game, simple||

Halloween 1978 || poor dog ||
Finished the original halloween
||great movie, fantastic soundtrack, michael is fucking terrifying
laurie was a great final girl ||
Good stuff
Nothing beats the John Carpenter original
Watch The Thing as well buri
One of the best horror movies ever made
Favourite of the 3 I’ve watched
My Ranking goes 1978 > 2018 > kills
Enjoyed all of them
Definitely planning on doing it

this guy is so good
makes me tear up every time

Hit em with the shade #Morbius
I mean
Sony and Marvel are two different studios
So it makes sense to say “in association with”
Yeah I know, it’s just my first time seeing this “In Association With” frame
I feel things went from “yes this is marvel”.. to “no, this isn’t marvel studios”
Because that is the case. I assume this is the only way to signify that this film is not apart of the MCU and is instead apart of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe
Yeah fair enough. But it’s still marvel nonetheless. It’s not really a Sony original being associated with Marvel. They should have the rights to just say “marvel” if it doesn’t include MCU studios imo
sony's spiderman universe is still a thing?
Seems like it
looks so good
yo boiz
is it even worth checking out john wick 2/3
||watched first one it was ait, but not a big fan||
The second ones good but if you didn’t like the first one I wouldn’t really recommend
|| it goes a little deeper into the underworld and continental || jw
If u watch second one tho def watch the 3rd one
Nah dont waste yr time wirh the sequels if u not a fan
Yeah the first movie was alright for me too but the 2nd was better and the 3rd is my favorite! I recommend watching the sequels, they're not long movies anyways.
Yeah if you didn't like the first one, don't bother, the sequels just flesh out the world after the first one
#Eternals is now the first MCU film to be rotten on Rotten Tomatoes at 59%

I remember watching on theater the 2018 without prior knowledge of the other movies and it pissed me off so much
You just need to watch the first one for 2018
It retconned every single other film
The original Halloween and then you go into 2018 and then Halloween Kills
That's all you need lmao
Shocking, almost as if you can’t just make what is a effectively a team up movie and expect people to just like it
Idk man I'm very interested now
But I'm burnt out on Marvel
At least we're seeing some semblance of fatigue and genuine critique about the movies in MCU
MCU has had an unbelievable run, but if wouldn’t shock me if people are finally get tired of superhero movies after a decade plus
John wick ||if the over the top gratuitous violence isn’t doing it for you, no point||
I'm not gonna watch Hawkeye weekly as well even through I love the comic it's based on
I'm gonna binge it eventually
6 episodes anyways
I do recommend reading the Hawkeye comic by Matt Fraction and David Aja before watching the show
It's incredible and very very cool
The show itself looks incredibly fun as well
I'm actually excited for it
Burn out was expected to happen.
Damnn
Any wheel of time readers active rn? 🥺
john wick 1 ||the combat felt a bit lackluster in terms of creativity. mostly just boiled down to "i shoot u in the hed" with occasionally fist to fist combat which looked to me underwhelming||
JOhn wick ||they step up their creativity in the next 2 films for sure, tho it has a lot of the same stuff as well||
I did read the first four books but then stopped and have forgotten pretty much everything.
Well that certainly doesn't look good
I don't think it was meant to have sequels at first
Probably not
Kind of crazy how ratatouille is the best restaurant movie ever
ratatouille fucking slaps
Chef and television personality Anthony Bourdain's favorite food-centric movie. Bourdain said, "They got the food, the reactions to food, and tiny details to food really right, down to the barely noticeable pink burns on one of the character's forearms. I really thought it captured a passionate love of food in a way that very few other films have."
@wooden swift did you know this?
The Eternals looks boring
Might be a nice shake up, last few mcu movies have been boring
I did not oli
I thought Tony hated food media/shows/movies as a whole
So I guess it stands to reason that the one he'd like would be animated, lol
Lmao
Lol
Almost done with my pixar view through. Think id rate the movies like this so far.
5/5: the incredibles, finding nemo, monsters inc, ratatouille, toy story 1-3
4/5: coco, finding dory
3/5: incredibles 2, bugs life
2/5 monsters university
Shang Chi being one of them?
Shang chi specifically
