-the sets are magnificent, which is a miracle considering how difficult it was for production to proceed in the midst of covid 19
-just the grandeur of how villeneuve and fraser frame their shots, as if the world is too big, theres always something that is just out of frame
-the sandworms are just incredible, the signal of them coming about having these vibratory harmonic motions and it just swallowing up people in the sand is just amazing
-the aircrafts are so intricately designed, just as in the books, especially the ornithocopters
-the score is just so incredibly well designed to be ambient, as if to pull the viewer into the world that these characters inhabit||

totally, the fact its still referenced in the modern era a lot is a good sign of its permanence in culture too , paved the way for goodfellas and sopranos
altho i strongly urge to watch it together with godfather 2, its more of a complete story that way
